Food was class, never had Persian food before so it was a new experience. Staff were friendly but it did take time to be served and we had to ask after quite a while, would still return again though.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Friendly polite staff, delicious food served elegantly and an excellent menu, beautiful surroundings and good price. I can really recommend if you want to have a lovely experience in a small Persian restaurant with lovely staff.

Myself along with my wife and two teen daughters, just landed in London and were looking for a quick choice of a persian dinner. The reviews were high of this particular place, and we decided quickly before this place, and everyone else closed for the night. We got there an hour before closing time. The floor manager welcomed us, asking, "Do you have a reservation?" I casually said no, but we'd like to have dinner. He swiftly said "okay we will seat you, but the kitchen will close in 10 minutes."Gladly enough, he was kind to let us in and made some menu item suggestions after we asked him to do so. We ordered the Lamb Chunk with green rice, 2 Sultani platters for the main course along with Humms, and yoghurt for apatizer which are served with hot fredh bread. For drinks, we simply ordered sparkling water. The food was served quickly. It came out hot and scrumptious! The place was tiny but well organised. The service was excellent despite the fact that some of the staff really needed training! The chif, on the other hand, truly deserves a high-level colonary award. The food portions are fair and were more than enough for us. Menue item not to he missed and can be easily overlooked is "the green rice" it is the best I ever had in three different contents. There is a highly likely chance that I might visit again someday.

We thought the service and food were very good on the night. Had two starters, bread and a mixed grill for two. Portions just right, actually the mixed grill was pretty generous to be fair. Only taken a point off because I felt the meat could have done with a little more seasoning or garlic perhaps. It was super tender but lacked a punch in terms of flavour (except the koobideh which was full of flavour). Beer also needed to be colder. But overall it was great to try out the Persian cuisine.

We booked online and get our seats in a full booked cosy restaurant with a mix of Iranian and modern decoration. Many non Iranian sat there, and the service is very friendly in a warm atmosphere. The olives were very tasty with the homemade naan ! My Soltani and m, wife barg was excellent and first Persian kitchen which meat was more than rice very appreciate and even an offer to get extra rice if not enough but it was enough ! We had a nice evening with London reasonable price ! Thanks

The ambience is pleasant It took a very long time for the wine to be served The food was pleasant, interestingly the rice servings all came with a crusted bottom, which is so popular across the Middle East However the breads were served in bowl, already quartered, so that the pieces at the bottom were steamed and stuck to the bowl The kebab type platter we had was very good, the meats moist but underspices, the accompanying sauce tasted only of mashed tomato, other Persian restaurants usually offer a spicy sauce The other dishes were a bit disappointing especially the ladies fingers

Just a 5 minute walk from Oxford Street is this fabulously friendly and very accommodating restaurant. Daughter has coeliac disease and the staff were very knowledgeable and were understanding of her needs. We opted for the mixed grill for two which was so delicious and flavoursome. Then my daughter had the salted caramel brownie and ice cream. I am told it was perfection and I'll definitely take her word for it. Such a shame we live so far away otherwise we would be here all the time. Thoroughly recommend for anyone looking for plentiful, delicious food while staying in London.

The restaurant is conveniently located between Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road, making it easily accessible from various parts of London. Situated just off Oxford Street, London's famous shopping hub, it offers a central location that's ideal for locals and tourists alike. Whether arriving from the north, south, east, or west, it's in the heart of the city. With a main dish priced around £13.50, and an additional £17.50 for two skewers with rice, the restaurant falls on the more expensive side. However, considering its central location and the overall dining experience, the prices are reasonable. While it's pricier than some other options, it's not exorbitant. The service experience varied, with mixed outcomes. While reservations are recommended due to potential busy periods, the staff were accommodating in honoring reservations and ensuring seating availability. However, there were instances of pushy upselling of starters and a mistake with the bill, which impacted the overall experience. Despite efforts to maintain service quality, improvements in attentiveness and accuracy are needed. Portion size was somewhat disappointing, especially considering the prices and expectations. While the skewers were of decent size, the accompanying rice portion was relatively small. Lack of complimentary items like bread or salad further diminished the overall portion satisfaction. Despite leaving the restaurant feeling full, the expectation for a more generous portion was not met. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, there are two aspects to consider here. Firstly, the rice was delightful - fluffy, moist, and soft, with no dryness whatsoever. Secondly, the kebab koobideh was well-barbecued, tender, and juicy, with a satisfying texture. However, despite the pleasing texture, it lacked a distinct flavor profile that would elevate it from good to exceptional. The taste was somewhat bland, missing that extra kick that sets apart a great dish. Moving forward, focusing on enhancing the flavor profile could significantly improve the overall dining experience. In summary, the restaurant earns three stars for its central location and decent dining experience. While it offers convenience and satisfactory quality, there is room for improvement in pricing, service, portion size, and flavor profile to elevate the overall dining experience.

Decided to stop in the restaurant for lunch and to try some Persian cuisine, and we arrived at just the right time and without a reservation, before it started to get crowded. The service was excellent and the starters were fantastic and the mains were just delicious. I had the diced lamb which came with rice and saffron and my wife had the chicken. We both shared the salted caramel brownie for desert. Service and food 10/10. Thank you Mo and your attentive staff for your wonderful service. Sorry I should have taken photos of your lovely dishes.

This is quite possibly the best Persian restaurant in London. The food is authentic and deliciously prepared. The cocktails are truly original. And best of all, the owners are super friendly and, clearly, very passionate about what they do. You can’t go wrong here if you are looking for great Persian food in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Great food, poor service. Four for dinner and the food was good. No real issue until dessert. Waitress left menu and never returned to take order. After 20 mins called waitress over to order food, told you can’t have it as you have over booked your table. Made to leave very quickly. As we need you out as we have a big booking and they will spend more. Not the end of a meal you expect. Poor service guys and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Food is average some plates could be better The service unfortunately is a let down, for example the water never arrived until after the dinner. Tea arrived with missing cups & we had to ask for the sugar and teaspoons. Service needs lots of improvement

Mediocre, utterly tasteless meat and chicken kebabs. Their Chenge — traditionally marinated cuts of lamb — was a mashed lump tasting more like second-rate Shawarma in a Turkish bazaar than the succulent grilled lamb one would expect. Majority of dinners are non-Iranians who know where to find better food. It baffles me how it gets such lofty reviews on Google!

We visited fairly last minute due to a change in circumstances. We had a taste card which the restaurant were happy to accommodate. The food itself was absolutely sensational, and in amongst previous experiences of Persian food is certainly the finest I have experienced. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The food was well portioned, good value (with a taste card in particular and taking into account the London location). Gorgeous Malbec at the perfect temperature also went down well. Pictures of food attached, and they also went the extra mile with a brownie to make my birthday extra special. Thank you to all the staff serving, and to all those that made the meal memorable. Will definitely be recommending and visiting again to sample more from the menu.

Outstanding food and service. We booked this through a third party app, and had doubts, when we arrived we were very tightly squeezed in. However, this was a fantastic dining experience, the staff helped us decide what menu items worked best for us and the food was quick, hot and delicious. We will most definitely be visiting here again. Thank you all for a wonderful meal.

Returning to Naroon alone after two months, I felt an immediate connection, like reuniting with an old friend. The familiar, hospitable staff; the elegant décor that blends contemporary charm with traditional Persian flair; and the tantalizing aromas all provided an instant sense of comfort, even without company. Dining solo, I started with the Fusilli, paired with parsley, olives, and tomato pickles. This dish was nothing short of a revelation, a blend of flavors and textures that I can only describe as poetic. Truly, it was the best starter I've ever indulged in. The main course, Jooje Kabab with Persian rice and saffron topping, was a delightful adventure of taste. The kabab's tender perfection, along with the harmony of saffron-infused rice, culminated in a culinary experience that satisfied not just my palate, but my soul. What stands out about Naroon is the consistent quality and personal touch. Dining alone, the staff's attentiveness made me feel cared for and appreciated. Their recommendations were tailored to my previous visits, adding an individualized touch that only enhanced the overall experience. Naroon continues to be a jewel in the heart of London, where each visit unfolds a new dimension of Persian culinary art. Whether you're a returning patron like myself or a newcomer, you'll find warmth, authenticity, and flavors that resonate long after the meal ends. If you find yourself alone in London, craving an exquisite dining experience, don't hesitate to visit Naroon. Your taste buds will thank you, and the welcoming environment will make you feel right at home.

Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹
