Nar Mediterranean Turkish Restaurant in Highland

Wow, great food. Yes, it’s not cheap but you get a lot for your money. The staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. It has a nice ambience, very relaxed.

I was visiting Inverness for 2 nights/3 days... both nights ended up coming to NAR because the food was SO good! I got the chicken platter and hummus app both nights, and the food was so flavorful and fresh... I wish I could ask the cook his secret! My waiter, Rahid, was so kind and welcoming as well. If I ever make it back to Inverness, I definitely want to go back to NAR!

Called in for an early dinner of great grilled meats and salads coupled with some exotic grilled halloumi and calamari…..the service was brilliant and the food was fresh and hot. We grazed away and enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant as well as the beautiful decor. Thanks Nar - brilliant and a real change from the same old pub meals on our journey!!!

It's a great spot for that Mediterranean flavour. Large portions are good enough for two and great service. It's worth a visit if you are in Inverness.

Recommended by family we went in. Very busy restaurant is always a good sign. It's not an extensive menu but you do want to eat everything on it so picking what to eat was difficult. Needles to say all four meals we ordered were lovely and good value. Well worth a visit

First visit to Nar for dinner and did not disappoint. With another couple we opted for sharing starters then sharing platter for 2 when it arrived and we saw the amount of food we actually thought that was between the 4 of us but out comes another platter it was amazing the meat cooked so tender. We also liked the Chardonnay wine we had very nice . All in all a great first experience and would definitely recommend 👍 if I was to moan about anything it would be there was only 2 serving customers and they were run off their feet but very nice X

My wife and I were walking down the street and saw the menu posted in the front window. We love Mediterranean food so stopped in for dinner and we were glad we did! The shrimp skewers were excellent as well as the chicken shish. The main dish was accompanied by rice, couscous and salad. The flavors were very good and the portions generous. Finally, try the baklava for dessert— tasty and not too sweet.
