Arrived here for lunch, only to find it closed and shuttered. As I stood there in disbelief, a helpful lady passed by, and told me it had moved to Westblackhall St, next door to the building society. PHEW!!! Nothing has changed except the location. Still providing great filled hot rolls at reasonable prices.

This is your down to earth, not trying to be something it is not, kinda place. Good grub at sensible prices. Everything cooked and prepared in full view. Friendly staff. Located right next to the bus terminal in the town centre of Greenock. I know a couple of friends also really like this place, so I will def return often. Keep doing what you do Nanny's!

I do like Nanny's, it's very dependable. They sell good meals at reasonable prices, and your order is cooked fresh in front of you, not produced from out the back when you don't know how long it's been there. We had hot filled rolls and they were delicious, and we were served by attentive staff. 4 rolls, 2 drinks, sit in for less than £14.00, great! Only downside, the décor is looking a bit dated and could do with a freshen up.

Glad to see that Nanny's Kitchen has re-opened following lockdown, and is still just as good as it was if not better. Sausage, egg, bacon and chips is less that a fiver, so still good value as well. Somewhere dependable to go for lunch.

This is a great wee cafe. The staff a friendly and I love their cheese toasties with a side of coleslaw. They do the best cup of tea. Prices are reasonable too.

One of a number of new eateries to have opened in central Greenock recently. They serve traditional unpretentious food at reasonable prices - full breakfast £4.00, so consequently it was very busy at lunch when we were there. The muzak was subdued, but we could hardly hear it between the hum from the extractor fans and the workmen digging up the road right in front.

We’ve passed by this eatery many times and decided to give it a try last week. So glad we did! Good selection of food from burgers, full breakfasts, main meals and hot and cold filled rolls. The fact they sell Auld’s rolls is an additional treat. Their hotdogs are delicious and their lattes are one of the best in town.

Came to see a show with friends. We had a nice pre theatre meal beforehand but the restaurant felt very warm. The theatre is upstairs. The stairs are difficult to traverse - the carpet feels thick and spongy and I witnessed an older lady almost falling as we were leaving. The show was great but the theatre was hotter than the gates of hell. Apparently the manager had turned the temperature down to 22°! The recommended temperature for your home is between 19° and 21°. The theatre was packed so the combination of 22° combined with lots of hot bodies probably pushed the temperature up again. It felt unbearable. I totally understand that they don't want guests to feel cold but turning the heating right down and reacting if people complain it's cold would be more sensible. It kind of puts me off going again because no-one wants to exit feeling like a sweaty mess.

Great place. I was there on business for the day so cannot comment on the bedrooms. The downstairs and public areas are clean and comfortable. Fantastic outdoor space, shame there was no sun but nevertheless a generous seating area. Great cocktail bar as well. The main large room was great for our business that day and a big shout out to the staff who were perfectly polite, extremely helpful. Lunch was a bit slow but tasted grand. Thanx Tontine.
