Nando's Watford - Met Quarter in Watford

Visited restaurant yesterday. The food was horrible. Was not freshly cookef it was dried none known how many time reheated. Observed the chefs wss cooking and leabing chickens on the side it os obbious this became a general.practise now . Stay away from this branch

So i have been going to Nando's most Saturday after work to eat. The chicken is well grilled and they got the new Spicy saka peri perri sauce to top it off... The rice served is also really nice...

I ordered a delivery from this branch and not only were the garlic bread and chips missing, they thought it acceptable to serve an appalling piece of corn for the children's meal. The food that was delivered was terrible as I myself am suffering with an upset stomach since eating it.

Very popular chain in England, good food at a good price. You order alone at the counter, then everything arrives at the table. Very kind and friendly staff. To return!

Popped in for a late lunch (5 of us). Great service from Mailo who greeted us at the door, took us to a table, took our order at the till and presented our food. He was friendly and helpful. The food was hot and delicious.

I came to this nandos for a dinner I was greeted by mailo who was very friendly. He made my nandos experience the best. 100% coming again because of Mailo. He deserves a raise!!!

HORRIBLE FEMALE STAFF. ALL THE CUSTOMER FACING WOMEN HAVE DISGUSTING MANNERS. NEW STAFF AS I HAVE BEEN GOING HERE FOR OVER 10 YEARS. RUDE AND GIVE BAD LOOKS, MAKE YOU FEEL UMCOMFORTABLE ETC. AWKWARD WITH THE FOOD AND TRY TO CHARGE YOU EXTRA SECRETLY. YOU HAVE TO STOP THEM. COULDNT EVEN GET NAMES BUT ITS ALL THE WOMEN WHO ARE CUSTOMER FACING.

Good food. Fast: not long waiting time - well run kitchen. Friendly and attentive staff. Credit to the Nandos brand.

Went on a Saturday which was very busy. Waited half an hour for order to be filled, not too happy. However waiting staff very helpful and apologetic. Food worth waiting for.

Ended up grabbing a nando’s on valentines after being let down by a local restaurant. Seated straight away, food out in 10 minutes, lovely staff!!

One of the worst chicken burger they serve me with out given Tissue and Fork and knife eating in but served like a takeaway Disgusting place and stuff Shame on the manager

Poor service - food came out stone cold. Didn’t even apologise, Mac and cheese has someone’s manky chips on it and looked like it had exploded everywhere. Disgusting.

BAD PLACE TO EAT! Rude staff. Food comes out cold and when complain no apology and brings the food back out once the rest of the meal has been eaten. Also chips just on the side of the plate which we didn’t ask for!

Too cramped up.The seating was a bit of a hampazard.

Sharing my opinion as the manager didn’t want to move 2 tables together, leave 3 children and 1 pregnant woman without dinner, considering we were on the waiting list from an hour

We had no booking but there were a couple of tables free. Had a half chicken and chips, with a wing roulette. Food was ok, although the wings were nothing special. The staff were friendly and attentive however. I wanted a glass of red and this came in a can. Unfortunately, the can had been refrigerated so I was drinking chilled red wine! Someone needs to tell them red wine is not chilled. That aside, it was good.

Took my son there last week. Usually, we go to the other (Met centre) store. What stood out was Caleb (front of house), Altun, service, Timi (service), and Genevieve (till) and their really enthusiastic and helpful attitude. These people are absolute credit to Nandos and hope they get their credit and reward. See you again, soon 😄

Just came for lunch today here with the family, and I have seen more than 5 plates returned to the kitchen, including one from our side. Chicken feels cooked from a day prior, dry and bloody not week cooked at all.… very disappointed Requested to grill the chicken plate which we returned, a bit more as was pink inside and as a pregnant women got sick straight away, the staff had the face to say that their chicken is well cooked… Never coming back to this Nando’s!

Pleasant experience visiting Nandos in Watford. We're not from the area and we're passing by so it was good to enjoy a good experience. The food was well cooked and hot. Potion of chips was missed initially but very quickly resolved and Brought to the table.

Visited here last bank holiday with the family. Lovely customer service . Nandos, you won't go wrong.

Few days ago me and my familly visit that place, food was spot on. Justyna I think that's her name, she was working there she look after us really well.

Chicken wasn't cooked throughly. Service was extremely poor. They could do much better. Toilets were dirty not cleaned.

Wow - what a fantastic restaurant to happily spend your money - during a time of national recession. Staff - are truly amazing. I didn't take the name of the two exceptional members of staff that served me. One, I believe the store manager and the other member of staff - this manager in particular will remember me complementing. So often, we see and experience people what bring problems to work or dislike their jobs etc. But, at this nandos I can say food and service is exceptional. They are patient even when dealing with customers with children showing kindness and empathy- not given hostle looks like many other restaurant. I recommend this nandos 100000%. Thank you to the two members of helped and where absolutely amazing during my 8 years olds birthday lunch. #RECOMMEND.

Great and convenient as we were driving to Basildon from Birmingham and our local Nando’s would have been closed by our ETA.

Best Nandos in terms of the food I can really. I had a pitta and unlike many others I have had this one had plenty of salad and chicken cooked perfectly.

We had a really lively meal at Nandos last Friday. The food was excellent and the staff were efficient and took my order straight away as I have a food allergy. I would definitely recommend this place.

Placed an order online and it was delivered on a Saturday night within 40 minutes. Delivery was fully trackable and the app sent me regular updates on the status of the delivery. All that I ordered was there and food was hot. Salted caramel brownies were a massive hit. Hummus starter had the Pitta bread and peri peri drizzle. Both were delicious. Ordered a bottle of sauce as well to smother over my wrap. Chips were warm and not soggy. Driver was friendly and polite. Superb take away experience. Will order again for sure.

Sanya I think that’s her name, she was working there this evening we were there between 6-7 and she looked after us really well. I highly recommend this branch the food is always spot on. It actually one of our favourite branches to go too the food always comes out so fast and it’s also piping hot.

I just want to say Thank you to one of the waitress that due to no lemon and herbs sauce available at that time,once he found one he remembered that I needed it because is actually my favourite and you know..small things matters😍

Went in for lunch the girl at the door said the waiting time for a table was 20minutes so I said I will wait as there was empty tables don't know what she was on about so we just sat down then we ordered our food which took for ever my granddaughter got hers after 40minutes then she finished hers and mine still hadn't come three times we asked and thay kept saying it's coming what a joke it finally came after one hour and twenty minutes so I had to eat alone and it was horrible waste of money and it wasn't cheap either should have been free after what we went through so beware going there

Don’t order takeaway from here. Orders are mostly wrong / not enough sauce put in the pitta / burger so it is dry. It’s not hard to get it wrong but seriously it happens to often.

The best nandos I have ever been to with delicious food, great service and great people. I would recommend you to visit this store and get served by Daiana and Danielle.

Good quality food. Quite friendly staff. Quite clean. Music excellent but got louder as meal progressed. Would rather be able to talk.

The food came before the drinks! Which is quite unusual and had to ask for the drinks after ordering them again which was the only downside even though it was not that busy! However I felt like the food at this Nando’s was cooked way better than any other Nando’s that I’ve been too. Even the chips as daft as it seems!

Hard to order if you are from another country and have not been there before.

I was visiting this area from the US. How I wish Nando’s would enter the US market! This is a relatively large space for a fast-food restaurant. When I entered, a server asked me where I wanted to be seated. That kinda’ threw me off — I thought, “This must be a table service place.” Of course I was wrong. After a few minutes when no server showed up at my table to take my order I waved at the manager who was passing by. She said, “Follow me to the register and I can take your order.” All good. The food was different from the typical fast food place. It was delicious and full of flavor. And…oooh….they have a bunch of hot sauces you can choose from with different levels of heat. Loved it! Ten bucks buys you a filling meal here. You can’t go wrong.

A couple weeks ago went to this nandos and has the worst experience Firstly the chicken tasted to weird like they need to clean their grills and change their ovens And I witnessed one of the mangers shout at an employee . The big bald manger clearly intimidated the employee as he went on a rage Disgusting behavior Nandos please sort out your management team Never going back there

Went there today and service was amazing. A kind ginger girl served me at the till, gave me a great suggestion and it was the best meal I’ve had in a while. Will definitely come back again!

Friendly staff however the restaurant smelt really bad. There was a bin near the plates and was full therefore I assume this was the issue. I will not return.

We visited recently that place and I am not satisfied. We ordered chocolate cake for desert and after 10min of waiting we've been told that they are finished. They offered us chocolate brownie instead, which infact was caramel brownie.. and the price was below the chocolate cake one but we didn't receive refund. Also the portions are small but full with chips....

Simply love the food. The chicken is so juicy anf soft it literally melts in your mouth. The corn 🌽 with butter is delicious 🤤🤤

First time in a Nandos for over 2 years now. Everything was nice and enjoyed my meal. However, the cucumber in the mixed salad was really thick. A small thing but sometimes it's the little things that count.

40 minutes to get food, no sorry, no information just left to sit waiting. No employee came up to check if we were ok or if we needed help with ordering. After I complained that we had been waiting 30 mins and nothing had happened, the employee informed us there had been an ‘error in the system’ so good to know if they have an issue with your order nothing will be done about it and you will be sat waiting forever. Employees were all ‘very busy’ chatting in the corner.

Lots of eating places around here, but Nando's is always a good choice. Enjoyed lunch here at a quieter time. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good as always, trying Sunset Burger (medium peri) for the first time... very nice. Will definitely have again. Toilets 🚻 available. Actually, I'm going revise this review because I just had a Sunset Burger at another branch and now believe there was only one thigh in burger at Watford!

First time I've ever been to Nandos so can't compare this one with any others. It's well placed in the town centre and was handy for the Premier Inn we were staying in. Wide choice as long as you like chicken 😋 and thankfully plenty of options if, like me, you don't like your food too spicy.

A convenient place to grab a bite but service was a bit slow and prices quite high for what it was.

Friendly staff. Quick and easy to order. I won't make it known but they have finally upped the chips on the plate. I hope this wasn't a one off and they keep the chips portion for adults 😂😂 Yummy Delicious Tasty Filling

Second time going to Nandos and its officially not for me. Was not told its self service until I went up to the counter 15 minutes after arrival Bit of a language barrier with 1 member of staff whilst ordering but appart from that everyone else's customer service was wonderfull so I can't fault. The food was very overpriced considering how basic the dishes were. I was surprised that the chicken was dry and flavorless considering thats what nandos specialise in. The only flavor you get if from the sauce, I has the VUSA, and to be fair it was delicious! I even bought a bottle to take home. So for me the only time I will be popping in to get that sauce.
