Lovely food as always and the staff are really kind and caring - the manager Jude went above and beyond for my nut allergy :)

Went for dinner there today. I won’t be bothering again. The cutlery was dirty and had to be replaced. We had ordered halloumi and sweet potato fries for starters, the halloumi arrived cold and was sent back, before we got a replacement they were bringing our main meal which we refused as we hadn’t had our starter. The halloumi arrived back and before we could finish it our main meal was brought back just about warm after being left under the warming lights for 10 to 15 mins. We were served peri-peri chips with no peri peri salt on. The only person that approached us regarding the quality of our meal was the guy wiping tables who offered to get the manager who was on a conference call. So we didn’t get to speak to anyone regards our Nando’s experience.

Absolutely appalling service , i asked the manager why me & my friends drink was there an issue with machine he said he would let us know but hid inthe back and proceeded to ignore us, we asked another member staff what the issue was but the guy was an absolute Norman, gave us no resolution looked at us like we were idiots, even a can of coke would of been sufficient for us, never coming here again think me and my friends will stick to urmston nandos never had any issues there always 10/10 service and food usually my worst experience at any nandos by far

Usually okay in here, but went in the other day after just freshly bathing at home to come out for food, to wait well over a hour for the food, to have a member of staff knock a full drink all over me then to be told of manager I have 2 options 1 is they will bag the food we waited over a hour for that had been sat under the heat lamp for a while do we want it boxing up so I can go home to change, which my food would be rotten, then the 2nd option was they could make fresh food for us to sit there sopping wet, that was the option the assistant manager offered me after spending £80 in there, I can honestly say I will not return to this place in walkden, for 1 I felt completely shocked how they dealt with it as assistant manager said she's apologised basically what more do you want? Imagine your staff done this to someone's baby in a pram next to you.

Loved the food although it did take some time but it was understandable due to the lunch time rush. Had to ask a couple of time if the food was getting ready but other than that it was a lovely experience.

It's probably good if you go. I only passed by and the flies in the window look scrumptious.

The worse branch in manchester .my dish was ready around 15 min and i was seeing ia in the counter but nobody took it when it came after being 15min ready the chips was so cold during waiting i've asked waitre to give me my dish but him refused .and i've notice i was not the only who was watching her ready food fro long time .pepole literllay turn back and watching the counter and wonder why nobody take the foods .def it's all right in busy day but this happend when there were only few custmers .i hope the manger consider this

This Nandos is a little run down. Staff not very friendly and uniforms could do with update. There coffee machine was broken so no hot drinks available.

Ordered through the app, we ordered 2 meals both with chips but only received one. We ordered garlic bread as a side but got given pitta bread instead, the halloumi was freezing and hard, clearly been sat there before being sent to us. And the rest of it was cold!

Discussed, I’ve now been sat here for over 55 mins and still not had any food yet . Service is terrible because they are concentrating on deliveries and takeaway orders. AVOID.👎🏻😡😡😡😡

Got to nandos today about 1pm ish waited at the door for 10 minutes it was not busy at all, so I gave up and grabbed some menus and sat myself no one noticed ? We then ordered our food on the app , was fine until we saw our mains just sat on the pass for 15 minutes, whilst the 2 people that where working where running around trying to serve and seat people as the lunch time rush starts the manager a blonde lady wearing and Gillette was sat in a booth chatting with friends for a very long time all thus food is sat there with no one running it , it was obviously dry and not great the manager then gets up and proceeds to shout at one of the floor staff only a young lad who maybe nurodivergent it's just not on , no one should be shouting at anyone she's not his mum and regardless if a manager on not shouldn't be raising there voice at anyone

First time in Nando's but it won't be the last. The food was excellent, I thought the price of a bottle of wine was a bit high. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite.

Lovely food but was in a party of 8 and 3 of our meals came quickly and then took 15-20 minutes for the rest, had to eat on our own so that it didn't go cold, other than that was good.

The food was tasty, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful however the cutlery was terribly dirty and disorganized. While eating our meal we have seen members of staff passing by the station and not paying attention to it. It's disappointing that such a good branch was a let down when it comes to basic things.

Do not order on Deliveroo from Nando’s Walkden. Each time we order, whether for delivery or collection, it says 30-45 minutes yet the order is ready after 90-120 minutes. Very unorganised and always blame Deliveroo rather than themselves.

03/11/2023 - I left the restaurant without being able to order my food. The lady at the till taking orders was not friendly and not professional. I felt disrespected and discriminated against as she kept taking orders from people who’d just walked in while I stood there waiting for my order to be taken. She literally ignored me and my daughter. When she was done taking their orders, she answered a phone call and walked right out on us. We stood there feeling lost for close to 15mins and left to another eatery.

Been here 3 times but it never gets any better. Our food was kept on the serving counter whilst the staff chatted. We had to ask twice for our food. There were only 4/5 tables to serve. On our visit prior to this they forget my order completely.

Ordered a takeaway and they were running a little late the restaurant was very busy. Really nice staff and offered me a drink while waiting. They put the order together very quickly and as always they went through the order before I left the shop. Great food and perfectly cooked. They really are nice genuine people who go out of their way to give a great service. Thank you to the front of house and all the staff who were on duty on Sunday 29th Oct it was well worth the visit. Highly recommended.

I go to nandos often but this has been the worst experience by an absolute country mile. I came into the restaurant ordered my food via the till and after 10 minutes of sitting down I realised I made a big mistake as pretty much half of the restaurant was complaining about either the food taking way to long, wrong food coming to table or the food being to cold. I decided to wait it out for 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES, I then realised other tables who had been sitting down shorter than me were getting served, I asked the waitress where my food was and she went to check if my food was being cooked but had then informed me in an extremely rude and not bothered manner “your receipt has been missed off” I then obviously got a refund but walked out with no food after being sat there watching the chaos for 1 hour 15 minutes. I can appreciate restaurants being busy on a Friday but I’ve never seen staff so unorganised, not bothered about doing any work and just absolute chaos everywhere. On top of all this, you had one waitress who was just sat talking with a table for the whole time with this chaos going on. I honestly think you could have had a video camera recording everything and it would’ve made great television, quite like boiling point!!

Called in yesterday for food. Food was just left under the heat lamps, and no one was taking to tables. Had an employee sit on the table next to us using the F word with a colleague, while my young daughters were sat with me, only to be told its OK I know her and I work here. 3 of us had food on the table for 5 mins, then had to chase my youngest ones' order. Staff looked like they couldn't be bothered to be there, all walking around with faces like thunder. No one greeted you or served you with a smile. To top it all off, I've been rough and unable to go to work through being sick and can't stay off the toilet after eating there. Will never be going back

Me and my partner order for the burger grilled chicken and the bread was very hard, we call the manager and we change for another but the bread still stiff and worse the chicken was cold. I felt like we waste our money.

I like my chicken with Nandos hot sauce, it compliments all things I've ordered in the past and today. I usually leave still slightly hungry though as the portion sizes are small. Wish there was more vegetarian choice for my daughter. Staff were friendly seating you but left you to it after that.

Had a great couple of visit here bit have to admit the music noise when the place is virtually empty is a bit much. That said i did approach one of the managers and suggested that the noise level was reduced. With kids who have sensory and adhd, it would make a meal very uncomfortable for them. The manager was very understanding and said they could reduce the music speaker in any area in the restaurant and that we should simply ask if this was a problem. There you have it, a great response from a manager who actually cared. Now I can bring my kids! And I did!!!

food didn’t even come. Family ate without me :(. Tried to keep me from writing this with a free 1cm by 1cm brownie that gave me food poisoning. After my chicken was ten times spicer than I ordered. Think they put hot sauce on it for my complaint 😡😡😡

Ordered fino pita and boneless thighs, not great, the chicken wasn't juicy. It was more on the dry side. The chicken in the fino pita was burnt and tasted bitter.

Always good seated straight away... was catching up with some friends and wasn't rushed out.. Great place as always

I would like to thank the team at Walkden Nandos especially a gentleman by the name of Sam Sodiya who showed exceptional customer & leadership skills. Food was perfect, as it always is! Couldn't fault it. Staff very friendly. However, we ordered at the till, but there were many parties who came in after us that were served well before us... We're thinking that's because they ordered via the QR code on the table? Either way, I'd recommend doing that just in case! Atmosphere slightly impacted by the rather large family next to us. The kids were eating MacDonalds while parents were waiting for nando's. Seemed odd, not sure why the staff didn't notify them that they couldn't do that.

It's a nandos. Exactly like any other nandos. I really like the food in there. Some people say it's expensive KFC. I say KFC is awful and nandos is worth the extra fiver. Delicious and nutritious!

Very slow service. 45 minute wait from ordering food to delivery. For a fast-food restaurant, very disappointing. Middlebrook branch is busier, but much more efficient.

My mum ordered a beanie pitta found a piece of chicken within the pitta bread spent over £20. No chicken was ordered. My mum suffers from many allergies just had a colonoscopy 2 weeks prior, meat causes sickness and diarrhoea, We Rang up to discuss this issue and no apology, no refund baring in mind pictures were sent and no chicken was within the order, Nothing. I think this is disgraceful service for a pitta bread and salad + delivery costing over £20 will be speaking to someone higher.

Eating in is always alright but for collection they never answer the phone, click and collect food is either really late and I am sat there waiting for ages, or it has been sat there for ages way before the pick up time and has gone stale and cold.

Extremely slow service. Staff are miserable and don’t seem like they want to be there. Ordered humous starter that came towards the end of our main meals. Halloumi was cold (no one likes cold halloumi) Overall - poor!

Was told if paying by card we had to use the QR code and order at the table. Cash could use the tills. We ordered at the table but drinks never came or sauces ordered. Had to go the tills and queue anyway to get our drinks. No one checked in on us. Ordered customisations on both meals and both were wrong. No staff around to sort this so again had to walk up to the till with the meals. They brought it back but the cheese wasn't melted so it was just a cold hard slice of cheese perched on a luke warm burger by this point. Condiments and drink area needed attention. I got the impression it was understaffed really. Not a big presence in the restaurant apart from delivering meals to tables. Won't be using the Walkden one again. Generally had no issues with nandos at other locations. Could be a one off but I'm not taking the risk.

No one at host, when eventually someone turned up got greeted with “y’all right”. Asked for a table of 2 and host just walked off without saying a word, realised after a few seconds we were meant to follow her. 2 menus were thrown down on a table and host left again without saying a word. Tried to order on the app but crashed several times so got up to order. Tired to pay with Apple Pay which had biometric verification but was told to “insert card.” I didn’t have my cards on me so I had no means of paying. Fortunately my fried was able to pay. Drinks machine then broken. Food average. Asked for mayonnaise when food arrived and waitress just replied “what”. Asked again and after 10 minutes she returned and out the mayonnaise on the table behind us to a table who had just sat down and not even ordered. Both me and my friend are in hospitality management and have never seen such poor customer service. Only thing not giving it 1 star was that the food was adequate

Really great for food. Very nice staff and pleasant surroundings. Frozen yoghurt machine was not working so that was a pain but nonetheless really nice food.

Lovely experience on two occasions that I have visited this nandos. Quick service, hot food and great portion sizes. The restaurant is spotlessly clean too. A special shoutout to Jay who went above and beyond with great customer service. Keep it up!!

Fist time I went in was amazing. Past 2 times all the chicken was dry and service was shocking the chicken burger barm was stail and impossible to chew

Ordering was hard work, the food is delicious but very expensive for what you get, service was brilliant, friendly and helpful staff, it was clean and tidy, a nice place to go.

This is the best Nando's for service, they were really quick from seating and food service did not have to wait ages. Place was busy and staff were pleasant.

Very unfriendly and unwelcoming staff, walked in and the girl just stared at us without a smile til we asked for a table. Ordered food and then placed a separate order 1 minute after, second order never showed up. Finished our meal and no one came to ask how our food was or so I could mention the missing item, we finished our food and still had the nandos stick as no one had come to ask. When we left no one bothered to say bye or thanks for coming. Wouldnt go back to this particular nandos very unpleasant atmosphere soon as you walk in, feels like you’re an inconvenience and you don’t want to bother them

Ordered a delivery which was due to arrive 2 hours ago. Contacted Nando’s a number of times and finally just been told that they delivered to our address. The order was not delivered.

We were seated quickly but the table had to be wiped clean before we sat down with bits of rice being swept onto our seats. Ordered a chicken burger and side of spicy rice, the burger itself was tasty but for over 10 pounds the portion size was quite small. The rice was bland and seemed to be microwaved which for the price of it is ridiculous. All the sauce bottles were sticky to handle and clearly aren't cleaned often if ever. Overall a pretty poor experience for the money. The staff catered to my vegetarian and vegan friends very well and were very friendly. The staff are very pleasant but the food and pricing is pretty steep for what you get.

Amazing staff, management and great food. Only thing that is a slight let down is the place needs a deep clean. I had to personally clean the baby chair because it was ultra sticky. COVID is still about and will be for years so the antibacterial gels should be left out for all, not just staff. Thank you

Very tasty like any other Nandos but wasnt given a proper menu was given a peice of paper with nandinos meals and drinks on.

Food was nice and hot when getting it home, couple of little issues ordered side salad got rainbow slaw, and the two chicken burgers had so much sauce to soggy to eat had take apart and eat apart from that all in all very nice

It's essentially chicken and chips but it's done well. Been to other Nando's but what sets the Walkden branch apart is the service. Really impressed with the way a minor issue was resolved. We'll be back.

I received the wrong order. I contact the restaurant and the manager said ...You will receive the new order. I waited more than 1h and I contact the deliverro. And the customer service support just said the restaurant it's closed LOL. The manager should be honest with the customers. It's better than lies.

Following my visit we walked into no welcoming, when we we finally sat down, card machine were down. We ordered online, drinks never came until we asked about it twice, staff were hanging around the till on their phones and laughing, my mates food never came until we asked about it which they replied “is it take out” with a smirk. One staff member chucked the cutlery and glasses on the table, they kept looking at us and talking. Seems like there is no management. One staff member at one point was working hard on her own while the others were stud about talking by the till. Everything has to be a two man job. No one is smiling.
