Nando's Sittingbourne in Swale

Wish to commend the manager and staff for striving to cater for lactose and chilli intolerance. Well done for offering to have food cooked separately in case of food allergies. Note that persons with lactose intolerance and want to avoid hot spices can ask for grilled chicken breast in lemon and herbs with warm pitta bread. Thanks to the staff for their kind service.

We ordered a takeaway from Deliveroo. Order arrived missing our son’s burger. I had to order another including his chips so he could have them with his food. With service charge, delivery and small order charge came to over £17. I got a refund from Deliveroo for the burger £9.15. I then raised the complaint and they offered to give me back the £1.35 service charge. They refused to cover the cost of chips, delivery and small order charge an extra £6. I don’t know who to tell you to avoid? The restaurant for missing the items or Deliveroo for snatching the extra £££. I will not be using Deliveroo for Nando’s and I will only do collection if I don’t eat in so I can check the order is correct. On a positive note when we have eaten in it has been good.

Rachel was fantastic and a great staff. The restaurant served good food.

Passive aggressive staff and expensive well made food

We visited here on Thursday and we had great food and excellent service. I had a slight issue with my burger however that was quickly rectified without issue. Our last visit was over 12 months ago prior to moving overseas and it’s great to see that this branch is still great as it was last year.

All nandos are basically the same huh, but this one stood out because our server Rachel worked really hard on a busy night to make sure we all had everything we needed 😊

Friendly staff, good food, right next to the hotel and train station

On arrival we was told there was a forty minute wait. We asked if we could eat outside and they said absolutely. The waitress went above and beyond. Food was served quickly, drinks supplied quickly.

Discovery for us because there is none in France. The dishes are varied. The service is impeccable, we had a waiter who was really involved in explaining to us how the restaurant worked, having difficulty understanding everything he was explaining to us. We had a great time. However, this seemed a little high to us in terms of the price paid.

It was the first time we visited Nando’s, it was conveniently next to the Light Bowling, the young man was very helpful and pleasant, and made sure that we knew how the service worked. The meal was bought promptly, it was very tasty. The atmosphere and staff were friendly, I would go in there again.

Fantastic visit to this nandos our food was delicious especially as garlic BBQ was back on the menu, I've waited ages for it to come back it's my favourite. Service was excellent the staff member who brought our food over was great he didn't have a name badge to identify him individually. I politely asked for a bit more sauce and he obliged and I thoroughly enjoyed this visit, would and have recommended this establishment. Thank you

The food and service tonight was so quick and impressive. The staff were all smiley and lovely. The food was 10/10 and you can see how hard they work.including the manager. I just wish the nandos at Chatham was that good. Its The best nandos I've been to. I heard good things so travelled all the way from Chatham.

Update 11.4.22: Fantastic service by the very lovely Georgina who looked after us brilliantly today, nothing was too much trouble for her. She was polite, friendly and helpful. A real gem and asset to the team ❤️ Lovely new restaurant in town, clean, fresh, looks as you'd expect a Nando's to, spacious, light and airy. Ordered on the app which was new to me and novel and saves leaving your friends to place the order (which everybody hated anyway!) Staff were friendly and service prompt. Food arrived quickly and our order was all correct. Love this new addition to the town and will definitely be back ☺️

We all went to Nando’s Saturday and all ended up with food poisoning. I will not be going again

Went with my son for lunch. It was relatively busy, but food was served quickly. The music was not loud, and we were able to have conversation without shouting. The staff (Abs, Amelia, and Rachel) were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating with our requests to order more food midway through the meal. At no point did we feel rushed in our meal and we had a good time.

Unfortunately I could not get anything. It is not right for me to give a rating as well for that. I'm just delivering the message that this Nando's branch does not have Halaal option. Otherwise Halaal Nando's are quite popular

I Guess nandos is nandos, you know what you are getting! Nice food, good service, was quite busy. Enjoyable time with friends.

The ambience is to die for, the staff are always warm and welcoming, most of all, their service is top notch. I have tried other Nandos outlets but this one at Sittingbourne makes me come back even after I have moved from Sittingbourne.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to William, the lad who welcomed and served my family and I. He was very nice to my two kids and make sure we were well looked after. I hope this message gets to him and gets recognised for providing an amazing customer experience. Thank you William and keep smiling. Regards the man with two small kids.

We love going to Sittingboure as the staff are always friendly and helpful especially Luke. He a always a constant we look forward to meeting.

Very good and cozy. Freshly prepared food, prepared very quickly, did not have to wait long. We liked everything, I advise you to visit this place.

Paid £24?for a platter for a whole chicken with 2 sides. The chips were in a small box a small amount of coleslaw sweet corn was black in places and the chicken was dry. Not had a Nandi for about 5 years before and won’t bother again.

I have found that my visits during d rush hours are not usually as nice as the slow periods 🙂

First time trying this Nando's and it was lovely. The food was delicious and the service was extremely friendly. They were brilliant with my children. Lovely and clean and great atmosphere.

Visited this restaurant last night with the family. We managed to 'mess up' up the order using the app and left out a couple of side dishes. Not a problem to the staff who sorted this out for us and made the evening a most enjoyable evening.

4th time in 4 weeks... no corn on the cob... seriously

The grilled chicken pitta was small for the price, the spicy rice is very average and our garlic bread was undercooked and stale. But the staff are lovely, customer service very good

I went to get my frozen yogurt and it turned out the machine was just turned empty. A member of staff immediately was there and told me what happened (as it made a horrible screech!) And went to refill it. Obviously it takes awhile to freeze and I was happy to wait so went to sit at my table again. Without me having to say anything the manager came to my table and brought me a frozen mango gelado. No fuss no muss. Incredible service!

Nandos was great, very clean, staff very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and served up very quickly. I only have one small criticism and that is you can't book a table at all. Will definitely go there again.👌

Good food, great service, welcoming staff.

Disappointingly, they had run out of halloumi. However, we were not told this when we were seated, or even when we were told we can use the QR code on the table to order. We only found out when we tried to order and certain items were not available. However, the service was quick and the food was up to scratch.

Good size restaurant with plenty of seats on a Sunday lunchtime. We were seated promptly and were advised that a few things were unavailable. I was really disappointed that macho peas were off the menu. The food arrived quickly and was well cooked and presented. It was easy to order via the app. I knocked off a star as I couldn't get my favourite peas but everything else was good.

Went here for lunch after bowling "But I wished i had carried on past". As soon as we were through the door asking for a table one of the team was telling us " What is not available on the menu".. Having to try and remember that we were seated, choice of beers is small and limited wines etc. Starters arrive (No side plates offered) no sooner had the dishes been cleared than the most of the mains came out but one was a while. The after about 15/20 mins staff were hovering to clear plates.. Not a comfortable place to eat. Not on my list to return.

Visited this particular Nando's various times now and every time it has been a very similar experience, good food, easy ordering now with the ability to order on your phone, with a quick service after ordering. The restaurant itself takes advantage of the modern architecture to facilitate sufficient seating but maintaining a spacious feel. Very few teething problems to iron out considering its relatively new status in the area, definitely one to try if you like your chicken!

Had an excellent meal and service was great. Restaurant was very busy but we didn’t have to wait long for a table and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good, restaurant was extremely well run and looking forward to returning soon.

Have a lovely meal last night at Sittingbourne Nando’s, food was very quick. Luke was an absolute star really helpful and polite came over and made sure we were ok and everything was ok with our meal and drinks and advised us on all the sauces too so thank you for that. Will be back soon.

It was OK. Not a fan of the staff bringing over cutlery and napkins. They never get it right. Food was nice enough though.

I went with my partner, it was her birthday. There are some positives. The location is convenient, the interior is spacious and actually really well designed. The food was as expected. No better but no worse. Unfortunately the whole thing was let down by service that could only really be described as lacking in any life whatsoever. The server who greeted us initially had zero personality. Despite us clearly saying we hadn’t been to a Nando’s in quite some time and weren’t sure how it worked astonishingly didn’t pick up on that and explain. He just stuck to his script of asking us where we wanted to sit. My partner explained it was her birthday as we walked to the table but just got a blank look in return. A simple happy birthday would have gone a long way. After we placed the order he just handed us three empty glasses. Again, made absolutely no effort to show us where the drinks machines were. It just felt like he was making the absolute minimum effort possible. He reminded me of our young children when asked to tidy their room. Also, you pay before you eat. That’s not a problem in itself but it means when you leave there’s nobody there to thank you for coming. It’s a really strange way to end a visit. It could have been a good experience but I can’t see us going back again. The management need to take a good long look at staff training before that happens again.

Not impressed. Have only ever been to Nando’s once about ten years ago and wasn’t sure what the deal was with how you order, the sauce and the spices etc. We personally felt that on arrival it would be nice if the servers asked ‘Have you been here before?’ to give an opportunity to explain how Nando’s works if you’re new. On two occasions I mentioned that a) we weren’t sure how it worked and b) it was my birthday. Neither were picked up on and the waiter simply looked at us blankly before carrying on asking me about sauces. We had NO idea where to even get our drinks from; we were simply given glasses with no explanation about the fact it was self service at the machines. We wandered around blankly not knowing where to find them. Food was ok. The Peri chips were the best part. Do like the concept of choosing your chicken and then sides separately but wish the service had been better for a birthday meal out. Overall, wouldn’t return.

Considered getting a takeaway but there were only a couple of tables occupied so decided to dine in. Super friendly staff. Looks tidy and well organised. I will come in again for some cheeky chicken.

This was the second time I'd been to the Sittingbourne Nando's. Much improved experience the second time. Well done all. The whole team worked really hard to get the food out promptly.

Came to the Sittingbourne Nandos for the first time yesterday, We all enjoyed it... Especially My Daughter. We tried the 'Spiced Clementine' and would definitely recommend! The Service was extremely good and the server, Harry made it a special experience for My Daughter and we couldn't thank the people working enough... Will be coming back soon!

Outstanding food and customer service at affordable prices. Would have loved to sample the Scollies Cider but was unfortunately out of stock.

Outstanding customer service. A friendly male staff member greated us as we entered the place and got us seated promptly. Explained to us what wasn't available etc. The food was tasty and chicken was soft and easily removed from bone. Will 100% come back.

Nice and with good environment. Shame that the machine to top up drinks is on one side of the room, making who ever is on the opposite side to have to walk quite a bit to get drinks

My daughter tried the sunset burger and loved it, bar her wedding day and children's birthday she said it was the best day of her life. We were hungry and the service was not long. Enjoyable meal look forward to visiting again.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the meal very much. We only had a small wait for the table and all the ordering and service went very smoothly. I forgot to take a photo of the food as I ate it up so quickly so took a picture of the sauces instead. We will definitely be back sometime soon.

Not impressed already! It only opened 2 days ago but, despite there being almost half the tables empty, we were told 30 minutes wait. When asked why, were told 'to make it easier for the kitchen!' What's the point in having all those tables available if the kitchen can't cope? Would be interested to know. Clearly the restaurant will never ever be able to cope with a full restaurant!!??

Brilliant staff. Manager took us through the foods as I have an allergy and also let us take our time and understood about my son's disabilities. will definitely go back.
