Nando's Oldham - Old Town Hall in Oldham

I’ve been visiting this branch regularly for the past year as the wait times are usually short, and it’s a great place for families. However, I wanted to share two experiences that truly stood out, thanks to one of the staff members, Ashly. A couple of weeks ago, my 3-year-old son, Adam, was sick on the floor as soon as we walked in. Ashly went above and beyond to assist us. She made us feel comfortable and personally cleaned up the mess instantly, showing such kindness and professionalism. I returned last week, and while we experienced a delay of 35 minutes for our starters despite it not being busy, Ashly once again stepped in. She was quick to help, ensured our concerns were addressed, and even provided activities for my three kids to keep them entertained while we waited. Ashly is truly a credit to this branch, and her exceptional customer service keeps us coming back. Thank you for such a family-friendly experience!

Big shout out to the member of staff who saw I was having a bad day and pulled me to one side when I left and gave me a gift to cheer me up need more people like this it’s the little things that make u smile thanks again to this lovely worker 😌😃

I went with my girlfriend to Nando’s near town hall in Oldham..and can honestly say they were absolutely amazing..the staff was so lovely and made us feel so welcome..as we walked in we was met by a lovely woman who showed us to our table..we sat down and she gave us our menus then she went away and then came back with a gift of a multi-sauce set and said that is for you because we was lovely..it really made our day..it wasn’t a massive thing but was so thoughtful..we have been going through a bit of a rubbish time with one thing and another so to receive this gift and to hear such nice words was a little lift that we needed..we ate are food which was lovely and then when we was going we thanked another lovely woman and she was so nice to us..we have been here on many occasions and have always enjoyed the whole experience there..we will definitely be back..thankyou once again

It's a nandos. It's exactly how you'd expect.

Couldn't rate the food as we ended up walking out without ordering. I made a simple request, to swap a wrap for a burger. Not rocket science; put the ingredients of the wrap in between a burger bun instead. The lady on the counter wasn't sure if they could and checked with what I presume was the manager. His response "not really, no". She was at least polite and apologetic. But there was no explanation why this was apparently impossible and the guy was rude and clearly couldn’t care less. Ended up going elsewhere and won’t be coming back.

The staff are very friendly and professional. My poor old dad was disappointed because he didn’t know they don’t sell tea so she made him a cup of tea. What an absolute diamond. I had the spicy rice bowls, really big portion and delicious

What I love about this Nando’s I never wait more than 20mins for my food! Amazing service

Sides were missing in my delivery, so I all I received was chicken without any sides, so the meal was ruined, and all they refunded was the price of the sides, customer service were terrible.

Kind staff, food comes out rapidly and food is amazing and hot!

Every week, they almost don't have a few items on the menu. Then why bother advertising it if you can't stock. Managing sucks

Preferred Rochdale Nando's faster service

Nice and chill, not super busy so you get a word in without having to be loud or overwhelmed. It is also HALAL.

My recent visit to Nando’s left much to be desired. Upon arrival, there was no one at the door to greet or seat us, which led to a frustrating wait. To make matters worse, we weren’t the only ones in this predicament—several other groups were also waiting outside, clearly confused and frustrated by the lack of organization. Once inside, the experience didn’t improve much. The selection of sauces, one of Nando’s signature offerings, was disappointingly limited. It felt like a significant part of what makes Nando’s special was missing. To top it off, the staff were far from friendly. Their lack of enthusiasm and attentiveness added to the overall negative experience. In contrast, the Nando’s at Elk Mill is much better, offering a more welcoming atmosphere, a full selection of sauces, and staff who genuinely seem to care about their customers. I’d recommend making the extra trip to Elk Mill instead of visiting this particular location.

My partners sister reserved tables for 7 people. Im so shocked that the waitress was very unorganised n dump plates. My partner brings knives, forks n tissues for us. This should be a waitress job, not us! No polite manner. I will never come back again!!!

Good quality food and a pleasant ambiance. The staff is great, making the dining experience enjoyable. Highly recommended for a casual meal!

Great atmosphere - very polite and professional Staff. This branch is also one of the many where everything on the menu is Halal. Calories are clearly displayed on the menu and this personally has been a lifesaver for my fitness goals. The app is easy to use and prices are reasonable considering it is treated as a restaurant, since Staff are cleaning/serving after you. The ice cream and drinks machines are bottomless too!

I recently dined at Nando's and had the pleasure of being served by Adam. From the moment we were seated, Adam's exceptional service stood out. He was incredibly attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His friendly demeanor and warm smile made us feel welcome and well cared for. Got the full platter for 2. Found hair strand on the chicken and the chips were barely warm. Disgusting

I went in a few days ago with some friends, was greeted by a lovely girl, her name was Beatriz, she asked me if I had any allergies which was really good! She gave me the option to sit wherever wanted to. She double checked my order to make sure everything was good. Great customer service :) highly recommend.

Always easy to get a table. Staff are particularly helpful with sorting a high chair and colouring for kids.

Bad service, the food is below the value paid, very expensive, I didn't like it at all.

Went on bank holiday with my autistic son. It was quite busy and they did warn us there was a bit of a wait in food, my son had his heart set on Nandos so we waited. He got a bit impatient and started stimming which he has no control over nor do I. The woman behind me came over and agresivley demanded I make my child quiet. My son cried, which was louder than the noise he was making to begin with. Once I'd calmed him down we needed more drinks but he wouldn't let me leave him to order at the bar ( we had to order their due to allergies) I asked the waitress if I could order at table and her bring the card machine, I explained why and she nearly cried for us, she brought our drinks and not long after a manager (ashleigh) came over and apologies to my son for the other customers behaviour, she took him to get frozen yoghurt and "made his heart happy" wasn't Nandos problem to fix but they went out their way to restore my sons faith in humanity and I'm so grateful. Thank you.

Not gonna lie, havent been to Nandos for ages, i only walked passed this one which looks like nice deco! But not for me im afraid.

A normal chain restaurant. It was interesting because it is not the type of restaurant you would see as a tourist. However, for us Japanese, all the food tasted too strong. The fries were especially spicy. Therefore, I could not understand why it was so popular among children. I also felt that the food was a little expensive for the quantity.

Ashleigh always makes my dinners here very special by going above and beyond. The food is always good, but it’s always nice to be welcomed so warmly.

A nice nandos tucked away down the side of odeon cinema. When I got in, it was very quiet, being middle of the week on an afternoon. Good food, friendly staff, all in all, a good nandos.

Nando's is always a solid choice for a bit of tasty food and we need to visit the Oldham town hall branch more often. We popped in last night and can honestly say it's one of the best Nando's we've been in ANYWHERE. Mostly this was down to the fantastic team working there. They were all so friendly and attentive. You can tell when it's more than just a job - the team at your Oldham branch are an absolute credit to the Nandoverse. From the welcome they gave us, to the service they provided and even the food they prepared - they clearly care about what they do and it shows. We'll definitely be back!

Great vibes and service. Food was ok, could be better. They ran out of chicken tighs which was a bummer. The staff were very nice so we had a great experience! Halal food👍

Went oldham Nando’s in Elk Mill, the service and manager was appalling so left food and went Town Centre Nando’s. What a difference! The service was on point and service was very pleasant. Staff called Neha was bloody awesome. Will always pick this Nando’s EVERYTIME.

We were a party of 9, adults and children, including 2 with allergies. The staff were brilliant and really looked after us. As for the food- well there wasn’t much left 👍🏼

After waiting 40mins for our food i asked how much longer it would be and was told a further 10mins. 25mins later still no food so again i asked how long it would be and was told a further 25mins! Not acceptable at all,will not be returning.

We are regular customers there Oldham Nando's and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We tried loaded fries, and it's amazing! It's halal too. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend Nando's to anyone looking for great food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Went with my kids for ifthar today, food came on time well 2 minutes after ifthar which was really good they tried their best to have our food served for ifthar time . Food was nice as well as their service very friendly and attentive

We ordered food for delivery and the delivery driver delivered to the wrong address, we tried contacting the customer service which was a waste of time no help at all, don't order food from Nando's for delivery very bad service.

Attended a Sun evening. No mash available no garlic bread available. Forgot my macho peas. Staff were busy organising deliveries and not paying attention to customers inside, tables needed clearing for over 5mins. Tonight experience was not great.

If you don't have a very good eyes sight you won't see the big dirty and cobwebs all around the light chime 🎐 on the roof. I have to ask my table to be clean before my family could make use of it.

I have been here a few times with my little girl. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. We love Nando's. It has such a homely atmosphere. The food is always tasty and cooked with great care. I can't fault it 😁

Used QR scan to order. Once signal stabilised and I had a good connection order went through, was processed and brought to the table without issues

Service from start to finish terrible, paid and ordered beanie pitta, then told no pitta as toaster not working and alternative is a small bun, when it arrived it was an absolute mess to eat as the bun was too small for the beanie!! Then when chips arrived they was over cooked and hard, told the server who was trying her best but looked way over her head, she then went away to get more chips only to be told they are all the same because one fryer works and the other doesn’t! We left the chips there and did not touch as I did not pay for burnt chips! In all the time we were there we had no apology or anything to reimburse, literally spoiled our day out, this place is on the decline avoid!!!

After waiting over an hour, no delivery turned up. Phoned them, driver lied about contacting us. So no food and £55 down for 48 hours. Will NOT be using these again!

Took a long time got the food to come and the FOH staff didn't seem to be trying help speed things up!

Poor customer service food never arrived no help from management , I was told to ring head office absolutely disgusting how they treat customers . I’m now left with no food and waiting 5-7 days for refund !! Absolute joke

I ordered a quarter of a chicken, It was good!!! Maybe for a man half a chicken will be better, coz I was a bit hungry after finishing. There was no corn available regretfully, so I was forced to choose another side.

Spacious, great customer service and the typical decent Nandos peri peri Chicken. Booking is done via the QR reader unless you are doing takeaway. There is 3 hour free parking in the Sainburys car park in Oldham. Update May 2022 Still great and best when not bust.
