The first time I've been so found it quite nice

I’ve always enjoyed Nando’s, but it’s shocking to see how much the standards have declined. The restaurant was dirty—cutlery was filthy, food was all over the floor. The place felt unhygienic and completely neglected. On top of that, the service was just as bad. Our order was mixed up, and despite the restaurant not being very busy, we had to wait ages for our drinks, which only arrived after our meal. Even then, they got the meal wrong. I specifically asked for butter for my corn on the cob as at first I never received and obviously never got it. Meanwhile, the staff were standing around chatting while the manager frantically ran between tables. It was absolute chaos and completely disgraceful. At this point, even McDonald’s has better service and cleanliness. Really disappointing to see Nando’s drop to this level.

Update: Not really changed tbh, why is it so dirty? The floor was minging, can't have been washed for months, food all over it. Had to go to the counter to chase up our drinks, got the order wrong, didn't send butter for the corn, I asked the waitress but she forgot too. More staff than can be commercially viable and the service still manages to be appalling. You have to try to be this poor!? Won't be going back, never, ever Original: Bit of a mixed bag tbh, massive queue and wait (40 for a table, 20 for food). Then we were called out for our table but didn't hear it (apparently). Service to the table was fine as was the food.

Went for a trusty nandos for lunch, and had the worst nandos experience I've ever had. First of all, we were told that the QR code to pay on the app wasn't working, so we had to join the big queue at the till which took about 10-15 mins to get to the front. Then the lady at the counter was one of the rudest people in customer service I've ever come across. She was very blunt and rude to me, and was also being short and rolling her eyes at her colleagues. The food arrived in a decent amount of time, but was the blandest nandos food I've ever had. It seems they forgot to add any flavour to either of our chickens and the corn on the cob was so dry it was barely edible. I understand that they were busy as it was a Saturday lunchtime, but I'd have thought they'd be better prepared for it.

We were on a trip from Northern Ireland visiting Lego land and sealife and called into Nando’s , we were greeted by Andy who was very welcoming , food was amazing, excellent customer service from Andy & his staff, would highly recommended 👌🏽

Ordered a delivery via deliveroo, no sauces included, no dips for the starters, chicken was undercooked. The worst Nandos I have ever had....don't bother if your ordering for delivery the most expensive bland chicken and chips you will eat!!

Food is fine and the service is good. However, the restaurant is filthy. The floors are dirty, the seats are grubby, the toilets are disgusting. I had to ask the staff to wipe the table which still had food residue on it. The whole place needs a really good deep clean.

Got there as opening and the food was top notch. Service via the qr code is fine and the staff looked like they wanted to be there and super prompt bringing the food and drinks to the table.

Typical Nandos experience. Why the hell are the burgers and fries so expensive? The term “cheeky nandos” doesn’t apply because you need to take a second mortgage out to be able to afford it. Good food though.

The staff seems really uninterested. Lack of cleanliness. Very long waiting time despite many tables being free. Tables are dirty with a stack of used plates on top. The manager seems to be putting his best effort to manage everything but in vain.

First and last time visiting this Nando's. Was a quiet Sunday evening, waited at the door for a few minutes before getting noticed and taken to a table which wasn't clean. Ordered on the app, 2 bottomless drinks and sparkling water and beer. After 10 minutes had to go up and ask for the drinks. A few minutes later the beer and water arrived with the bottle top still on the beer. Asked for it to be opened and some forks as there were none left. After 5 minutes a man behind the desk then came and opened the beer with a lighter, not ideal. The food arrived a while after and we had to ask for forks again which then arrived wet and not clean, like they'd been taken out of the dishwasher early. The chicken butterfly was really dry. There was also a table they'd put together for about 12 people, they'd left before we got there but the plates and the mess was there until we left, the staff were too busy chatting to clean it up. I'd avoid this place and just go into the Trafford Centre instead.

Fantastic service and really friendly, great atmosphere, and better still spot on food.

Always love a good Nando’s. No complaints and has everything you would expect for a nice, mid range restaurant. Gave less than 5* for atmosphere as the music was modern contemporary rather than the usual Nando’s Portuguese music, which I prefer, and service is fast as usual but the staff always seem busy so don’t always bring everything.

Hello, I am just writing to let you know if the terrible experience I have received at Trafford Retail store in Manchester. Air con is on full blast, no one came over to check if the food was ok for me to tell them. I had to get a staff members attention to ask them to turn it off. I ended up asking for the manager as had to put my coat on it was that cold. The manager wasn't interested at all. He point blank said it hasn't been on all day however his colleague said she would get it turned off so she knew it was on. No one came to check if food was ok, and it was that cold the heat of it wasn't staying hot. Very shocked and not happy at all. Here is proof that they didn't come over and take the nandos stick.

Absolutely freezing. Complained to the manager was shivering it was that cold He didn't want to know. Spent £50 to sit in a fridge no customer service

Love the place, cozy and warm environment with friendly staffs. We arrived at about 8pm and it wasn’t busy, we got seated in a few minutes and ordered our food. The food arrived about 30mins later and they were delicious. The only thing that could’ve been better was the chicken livers which were a bit burnt but the portions were bigger than other places I’ve known. Overall a pleasant experience and we definitely gonna come back for more. Definitely recommend

Ordered a beanie burger and fries from Deliveroo. Burger was stone cold and had piece of chicken on the bun. Considering the high amount paid on Deliveroo this is beyond disappointing and a shame as have never really had problems before.

Atmosphere was lovely and the place looked clean. However the service in other places is much better. Asked for extra plates as we were all sharing and they brought one extra plate. Asked for more than one as we were more people and u you can tell the server was not happy to go back again. One of the things we ordered was the 10wings and you can tell they were old. They had the taste of old chicken and was not juicy. I asked what the rest of the guys think and they said the same. Never had this in a Nandos restaurant before and I go often. I don't think I will go to this particular one again.

Ordered butterfly chicken but unfortunately it was dry and not really soft as it never happened before but it was just a single piece ! Usually it's full two piece breast piece but not this time . Staff was nice and the ambiance was good too. It's closes at 10pm and we arrived at 9.30 but they took our order in and closed when people finished eating . We were last to leave . We ordered loaded fries which are new on the menu but it was really yummy as it had pulled chicken and cheese but yu.my thing was peri peri pulled chicken and not hard . Not too much rush or filled with people though may be it was closing time but nice dim lights with not loud music and all. Overall nice for a meal But IF THEY CAN LOOK INTO the chicken as it was quiet dry outside it would be lovely.

Ordered the butterfly chicken and peri fries. Decent amount of fries but the butterfly chicken which was described as 2 chicken breasts was tiny. Smaller than one average chicken breast and quite dry. I feel this restaurant has gone up in price and down in quality and quantity.

It's become fast food not great food, anymore. Chicken is somewhat dry, not juicy and succulent like Nando's used to make. Maybe, it's just this particular Nando's. I will try a different one and post when I've been - exciting stuff, haha. All the staff were great. The food was served fast. The restaurant was busy but plenty of seating still. This was on a Friday at lunchtime. We were in and out quick. A bit too quick, really. Overall, I was disappointed with the food.

No waiting. Table clean and ready for use. No queue to order. We got the food within 10 minutes of ordering. It was hot and fresh.

Foul! It’s almost 6pm & the place has about 6 customers inside & they still can’t find the time to clean the floor of chewing my gum, grains of rice & whatever else from lunch time? Disgusting, they should hand out plastic bags to wear on your feet - trainers deserve better.

The chocolate cake decadent absolutely the most phenomenal chocolate cake I've ever eaten! The mango 🥭 dessert also really scrumptious so fresh. The hot food mouth watering good nice broccoli 🥦 the butterfly chicken just melted in my mouth, the peri salted chips wow loved every single thing I scoffed. Was such a lovely atmosphere music playing was almost like tribe music, the staff were so friendly and helpful keeping everything clean and tidy the toilets 🚻 looked very clean and well stocked. We also got to sit in a booth the seating was really comfy we stayed ages was nice just sitting sharing food and enjoying the ambience of the place. I also liked that the first thing the staff were asking if we have any allergies it is good to be so careful luckily we do not have allergies but this is something that is taken seriously.

We were entertaining our Canadian guests who were most keen to eat Nando's. Food and service were both good.

Cracking nandos. Easy to get a table and great staff who sorted a mix up on the ordering straight away and gave us free dishes because it was their fault.

Just what you expect from a Nandos, nice decor with a good atmosphere, friendly and polite staff and really nice food that came out pretty quick.

As always brilliant service from the staff..food was served quickly..it was cooked to perfection. Tried one of the burgers it was delicious..garlic bread was slightly hard but fries was excellent.. chicken was tender and flavorful. This is usually not too busy at lunch time so it is our one of the favourite places to go to .

As a Portuguese born and bred of 28 years it's always nice to get a little semblance of home. A cheeky Nandos always hits the spot along with a Sagres beer. But bear in mind my friends that THIS, this is NOT Portuguese gastronomy, we do not eat this. Yes we have roast chicken with Piri piri (not peri peri) but we don't stick it in buns, and certainly not the type of buns served in every Nandos. It's lovely food, definitely, but I resent it being called anything remotely close to Portuguese food.

I love Nando’s, but this is such a bad one, from the moment we walked in our feet stuck to the floor, we waited around five minutes to be seated even though it wasn’t overly busy and it was only us waiting, sat down to order to be told the drinks machine didn’t work and they only had cans, at which unbeknown to me we paid £3 each for (non refillable) the receipt didn’t have prices on which was strange so I worked it out, everything just felt sticky and dirty then the food came out, the chips and rice was fine but the chicken pitta was stone cold and looked like it had literally been thrown together and was a mess, maybe they need more staff? It wasn’t crazy busy but I only noticed four staff in there and everything was just so shabby, I’ve never experienced a bad Nando’s visit until today, please please please clean your floors, that is enough to put people off straight away!

Visited this branch on Wednesday afternoon 20th of July for lunch. The restaurant needed a good cleaning the floor was covered in waste food the the mens toilet was disgusting the sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days it also smelt of urine. I've visited this branch many times and never seen it in such state .

Food generally great...its nando's. However they always burn the sweetcorn and send it out. When you pick up you can be waiting to be seen with food already out and ready to go so time you get home food warm
