Took my son Wednesday night for the sushi making course they do. We went early to have our Tea which was awesome as usual. The sushi making started at 6.30pm and was run by Jack think he said he’s one of the managers. He was great fun made everyone welcome explained everything and had us all making sushi like pros. Thanks Jack me and my son really enjoyed your sushi making and would reccomend it to anyone.

Honestly a good location and decent service. But sadly that's where the positives stop. As someone who has been to sushi belts in America and Japan this place is an insult to proper sushi belts. The prices are honestly absurd for the amount. Nothing is worth it. You'll spend way more here than you think for even one dish. Run as fast as you can. There is no reasonable reason for such expense. The kaarage isnt even proper kaarage. It's just simple breaded chicken you can buy at the super market

It's been a while since I visited a Yo! SUSHI 🍣🦐🦀🐟🥢... I have to say i enjoyed every bit of it today. It made a nice change after several days of meat and cheese over the Christmas period.. From the freshly prepared sashimi to their grilled teriyaki kebabs, there was simply too much to choose from. Loved the spicey tuna egg rolls 😋 had a firefly kick!!.. Can honneslty say was completely stuffed by the time I left!!.. over all had about 12 dishes ( diffent colour plates ) plus a couple of drinks, and the price wasn't too bad at the end. £60.59. Felt it was about right for the amount food we had eaten!! Plus, they also accept Blue light cards, so got a cheeky 20% off the overall bill.. score saved about £13 .. 👌 Deffenlty will be returning soon to get our sushi 🍣 fix again!!

Not the greatest of experiences Katsu curry was rubbish very watery and hard rice ended up leaving most of it. Popcorn shrimp dish was literally sweepings / plate of crumbs and charged £8.75 for it. Staff were polite but very young and not at all proactive. Also we were told that everything, including shellfish were being cooked in the same fryer as one was broken, therefore as I have a shellfish allergy my options were very limited. When we came to pay the bill we weren’t offered a receipt and when I questioned this as it was approx £20 more than I had expected, the waitress reluctantly brought over the receipt and we’d been charged for items we hadn’t ordered. Overall a little disappointing.

Food was ok, however staff who was making food was also delivering it and from hygienic point of view that's not too good as they would wear the gloves when they were making food then would touch all the things around them (fridges, chairs etc.) while still wearing those gloves. And there was that disturbing smell of dump and dirty cloth where we were sitting. I'm not quite sure where this was coming from but it was bad.

Not worth going at all. Had 3 main dishes and 3 from the conveyor belt. That cost 45 pounds with 11 percent discount! Food was below average. Didn't like how the staff just took 10 plates off the belt and just chucked them in the bin. I understand they don't want to risk selling bad food but I could've literally decided to take one just before he threw it away. No care at all and it was sad to see.

Ordered two of the Korean fried chicken bowls- only asked for no chillies (we both can't handle spice very well) and one with no radishes. Both dishes came with chillies and radishes, were so hot we couldn't eat much and had to give it to our friend. We barely ate anything and had to get food later. The waiter had told us the changes would be possible and had spoken to the kitchen staff so we dont really know why the changes were then ignored?

By far the worst sushi experience I have EVER had. 1) the simplest of all miso soups taste bland and watery 2) there 13.50 pound seafood ramen is made with egg noodles and not ramen. THIS IS A SIN!!! 3) sushi and sashimi portions purposely cut too thin and tiny, i have never seen such cheapskate cost saving methods 4) all seafood served here are not fresh, I wouldn't be surprised If I get food poisoning from this. EDIT: my wife did get food poisoning from this. 5) everything is overpriced for what you get. 6) sushi appears on the belt as broken most of the time. Never will I come here again. Save your money and go to wazasushi or shoryu, much nicer sushi and professionalism and respect towards Japanese cuisine. EDIT: reached out to yo sushi as per there response. Don't bother, they aren't helpful. Just the typical carried out investigation and nothing found. After many tests and nhs/private appointments, results show there was inflammation in several areas that arose from bacterial infection. The timelines matched up but difficult to prove as a result, and from yo sushi's response, you'll need something concrete for them to accept responsibility. All in all, you can decide what you want to do with your life but I wouldn't risk my health going there again.

Absolutely deserves a big ZERO. Shocking prices for the amount of food that you get. Can easily spend £40 on the conveyer belt in about 4 dishes which, for the portion size, is ridiculous! Asked the server how I can differentiate between halal and non halal food, well she basically didn't know the dishes herself as she proceeded to pick up examples off the conveyer to explain how to identify things off the paper menu and then she would say 'o erm actually I don't know what this is too'. Not exaclty giving me the confidence boost here. A clear systematic coloured plate system would work much better so customers can easily identify their requirements. Anyway, we did try it as we had 3 very excited girls with us who wanted to try the sushi experience etc. We ordered some noodles which for £9 odd was a ridiculous portion, absolutely disgusting, literally seved on a teacup seving plate essentially. We did however get the bento boxes for free as it was during these school holidays but I seriously would have been super displeased had they charged me for what was served in the bento box (I can tell you it is not as advertised in their fancy advertisements). Anyway, can not really complain about that because it was for free so grateful for what we got as we could have easily spent over £150 to feed us all properly (2 adults, 3 kids). One thing to mention is kids across us where switching the vegan cocktail sticks over to other plates on the conveyer belt, potentially causing a dangerous situation for someone. We did tell the staff however they did nothing. Overall, I would absolutely never visit a Yo shushi restaurant again.

There’s always a long queue here so we’ve only ever got takeaway before which has been nice. It wasn’t that great - the quality is pretty average and the price really isn’t far off what you’d pay in Australasia in Manchester for a similar portion. Its a long time since I’ve been to a Yo but there’s a lot of stuff they used to offer that’s gone away - water taps at the counter, complimentary ginger and wasabi, it was all a bit underwhelming really.

Well since we had an hour and a half to spare before my childs play session at play factore we thought we'd go to yo sushi the queue was massive it was boiling hot in there we contemplated leaving the queue several times but this was meant to be part of her birthday treat. We kept seeing several empty seats but they were not getting filled and the queue was not moving it was a form of torture really by the time we got to the front of the queue it was time for the 2 hour play session to start and i hoped we would finally get seated soon so we could make it to the play session before it finishes. But it was still another 15-20 mins before we were seated in chairs that look like theyve seen better days. Once there it was great. I mean it was slow service if you ordered food and drink and no one explained the system to me i had to ask if the '20' sticker on the dome on top of the dish means its 20 quid and they finally explained no the pricing is colour coded accorded to the dish and handed me a menu which i hadnt been given before. I have anxiety it makes me anxious to not know the prices of things until its time to pay and would have preferred to pay upfront but as this wasnt possible i had to use my calculator on my phone to monitor how much it all was and to tell my child to limit herself. Then they added a service charge to the end anyway. What service? They werent seating people in time or explaining the system definitely acted like i was bugging them by asking questions all the time- at the end i literally asked 3 different employees how im meant to pay and they walked right past me without acknowledging me like i never said anything and we ended up being late to the play session due to slow service but its not a low rating because the actual food was good and id recommend. I played it safe with prawn crackers miso soup and mochi and really enjoyed it. Really like the moving conveyors. If i had been seated quickly and explained the system and it wasnt so hot it probably would have been a 5 star review from me. Also wish they had drinks like ramune my child gets it from the yo section at tesco so i assumed theyd have them in the restaurant too but they dont?

First of all, I understand that leaving bad reviews don't always help the business, however i have emailed them and have had no response from the manager. I have been coming over the years and needles to say we used to enjoy it. However the last few times has left me feeling very frustrated and disappointed. They don't take cash no more, use the app and they sneak in service charges without asking you, you don't get table service no more so why expect to put a service? Also portions are smaller than ever and prices are higher, you gotta have a balance. After spending over £95 for me and my 2 daughters, I was left hungry, thirsty and frustrated as they charged me for 3 bowls of food I never had! Emailed them and was told they will contact me to verify charges etc and never heard back from them. So sad to see a good old favourite been washed away by bad service and really poor value for money.

Not a pleasant experience. I went in, by myself, just before noon as I wanted a quick lunch. I told the person that served me I was dairy intolerant and they told me to just check that things didn’t have dairy in. I was given no real guidance on how to do it. Then I was told to scan the QR code or ask the server to order any hot food and drinks. I tried the QR code but it needed me to go through quite a lengthy form to register. As I wanted to be quick, I ordered in person instead. Due to this, it meant I had to pay the second that I had ordered. So I paid for my drink. Then when I ordered the ramen, I had to pay straight away for that. Then I had to pay again for the sushi taken from the belt. Not sure why I wasn’t just billed at the end, but it added to the overall unpleasant experience. When ordering food, I wasn’t ever asked again about the dairy intolerance. I thankfully found the allergen information online, and some items were labelled vegan, therefore I felt ok about ordering. But other restaurants like Wagamama and cafe rouge are much better for being allergen aware. At yo sushi I was just left to my own devices. My ramen then came and it was ok but nothing special. The egg was over cooked and it was mostly just noodles. Certainly didn’t feel worth £13! Has put me off going back, I feel like itsu has better quality food, better service and is cheaper.

The waiter who took us to our seats lacked customer service skills and gave us attitude. At the time of being served, they were not busy. The new ordering system of scanning a QR code and paying via a website is nice once you’ve set up an online account but when you know what you want to order, it didn’t make sense for the waiter to reject our verbal order request. The new system offers little purpose of the waiting staff, especially when the kitchen staff end up directly serving the dishes that you’ve ordered via the QR code system. Some of the sushi dishes left me wondering what was I eating, and the salmon sashimi was not cut well. The spicy seafood noodle soup was nice though.

Came here for dinner with my partner today and we were both quite disappointed with our experience. I’ve eaten at other YO! locations before and, as a vegetarian, have loved the options they provide for people with plant-based diets. Initially, we were seated immediately - we had to order a little differently, with our server taking our order on their tablet instead of us doing it using the QR code. After making the order, our server returned to inform us at least half the dishes we asked for were not available - the drinks, desserts and almost all the dishes I had chosen for myself, whereas all the meat-containing dishes we had ordered for my partner were. The staff did their best to accommodate for my diet and prepared alternative dishes instead, which was very kind of them, however this was after we had been charged for our original order so I’m not sure if we had even paid the right amount for the food we eventually had. It’s quite frustrating to be presented with a lot of choice upon entering a restaurant, especially considering that a lot of places don’t tend to offer such a wide range of dishes I can eat, to then be told that you can’t actually have the majority of the options you’re presented with. It was quite a shame as I’d been looking forward to eating here but if I was originally informed that most of the dishes weren’t available before we were even seated, I wouldn’t have bothered in the first place.

This place has really gone downhill, you can tell its been bought by private equity, squeezing as much profit from every plate as possible. The sushi rolls are so small now its physically impossible to pick them up with chopsticks, they simply crumble when you touch them. Really happy with the spicy fish soup, when we came to eat here yesterday afternoon before , the last two times , the soup wasn't so good, not much broth and not too much fish but yesterday was amazing. We are regular visitors to yo sushi ,at the Trafford Centre and always eat this soup. We also love the other dishes . I am always happy with my service here.i would also like to give many appreciation to one team member , Georgia . This lady goes above and beyond, to make every visit special. She is really helpful and always gives good recommendations on the menu . This young lady has good customer service skills naturally and is very friendly, this is one the reasons, that we like to come eating at yo sushi, when visiting the Trafford Centre. Keep up the good work Georgia . We look forward to dining here again. Lisa and Zoltan :)

It was my first time at Yo Sushi and it was a great experience. The staff were really friendly, especially Georgia who was a delight, really helpful despite being really busy. She had a lovely attitude and gave some good recommendations. The food is of the best quality and plenty of options even if you don’t necessarily like fish.

I love that yo sushi has brought back the conveyor belt system, but you can also order on the app and hot food only. Fun experience as always, and the quality of the food and price hasn’t changed from pre Covid. Staff were attentive got seated straight away on a Friday lunch despite it being busy during half term. Usually you have to book, so I’m happy we got a table. Ignore the negative reviews, if you’re a true yo sushi fan you’ll know that yo sushi is only getting better. Also, I love that you get rewards now, so we got some money off our order today. Can’t wait to eat here again!

Wonderfull hotel for the rank it is. Already 20 years but still comfortable, with nice swimming pool with sauna and steam room as also a little jacuzzi and a cold pool for after sauna plunge. The “Brasserie blanc” it’s the perfect place for the breakfast with a nice vintage ambiance and green house style. The staff is great and the restaurant supervisor is very friendly and efficient. Thank you so much Ken👍🏻 for the warm hospitality and making my breakfast and nice experience. Cheers and keep up the good work✨

I ate at La Torre with a friend about 6 months ago (I originally posted this review then against the wrong tapas & have only just realised when looking uo the restaurant to visit again) and we both really enjoyed our dishes. I had the squid, pork belly and garlic prawns and they were all very tasty. It was a Monday night so the restaurant was incredibly quiet, the service was perfect - the right level of attention so we had everything we needed whilst leaving us free to get on with catching up. I definitely want to eat here again.

Really well made breakfasts with great ingredients. Second time here, and I doubt we’d go anywhere else in Altringham for breakfast now.
