McDonald's in Trafford

A perplexing McD’s. The quality of the food was good but the order was wrong. The place was super clean but staff melted away when I tried to ask about the error in my order.

Been waiting for 2 hours just to get freezing cold food

WHERE are the fries as part of my meal? Seriously, how can you miss the fries from a f'ing meal? if you have stars on your chest, remove them all. Totally incompetent.

Food and delivery good but fillet of fish missing from order. Also received 2 milkshakes instead of one milkshake and one hot chocolate. This is the second time order has been wrong- last time I ordered a bundle but only received one lot of fries instead of two. Seriously considering ordering from Burger King next time.

28/04/25: double.cheese burger, fries and 6 nuggets. Ordered by the self-serve point. Ordered BBQ sauce with the nuggets. Had to go back as the BBQ sauce not completed in the bag. Another McDonalds service who can't follow simple instructions!

Waited ages for table service. Milkshakes were not thick, as normal. Food was just warm

I'm sorry to say I'm not going to use this restaurant again. There is something wrong with the order every time

I asked for a double cheeseburger with extra pickle and you jave sent me a plane burger. not happy 😒

The best McDonalds I have ever been to. A play area and outdoor seating.

Ordered two meals on the app for table delivery. It came quickly and was hot, nicely cooked and looked good. Staff were also friendly. Definitely one of the better McDonald's. We now drive the extra distance to come here, rather than the McD at Trafford Retail park which is utterly horrendous (see my earlier review with picture)

Drive thru.. Had us waiting for ages, I get there may have been a large order, that's fine... But our food was overcooked, cold and overly salted. I was beyond miffed. Deplorable standards... I will return

Cold food, dry and items missing

Terrible McDonald's, food looks like it's been picked up off the floor and they don't seem to know how the app works, even though they insist on you using it

The staff are disrespectful especially the large girl called Liv she abused several customers whilst I was in the store and the wait for the food was very long terrible location I would happily wait at antoher McDonald’s to avoid coming here

I only ordered a hot chocolate. I was given it with a faulty lid and now my leg is burnt, clothes are ruined and it got into the charger port of my phone that was on my lap. Hopefully my phone isn't permanently damaged. I gave 1 star as it won't allow me to give zero.

we've come here a fair amount, once a month. Got happy meal and Philly steak. Chips were over cooked, dey and dark brown. Asked for replacement. They gave me the same things and I said they were overcooked. The girl serving me shrugged her shoulders. Then I looked at the burger and it was nearly black. Overcooked again. Hard to say how you have a McDonald's that can't cook burgers or chips. Rubbish.

Although very quiet, it took some time for our food to come. Had teenagers with us who don't use cards and were waiting by the till to be served, had to shout up and ask for assistance. Good choice of meals though, some of which are not available at our local mcdonalds so that was good. It does have an outdoor play area for kids which you don't see everyday so that's pretty cool.

Food was rubbish. Delivery fella was sound though.

I've got to be honest, I wasn't expecting anything decent due to the poor reviews. However, I was quite pleasantly surprised by the hot food served quite quickly by polite staff. With almost 7 million views on my reviews, I know good from bad, and this wasn't too shabby! There's good parking, including disabled parking spaces and an outdoor play area with seating too!

order a bit cold. order not quite to request no onions or lettuce on burgers requested with no buns which was 2 and no straws for any of the drinks. the order was over £60 so I would of expected it to a better standard from mcdonalds Barton Dock Rd as it wasnt ciming far either so should have been hot prib distance of 1 and half miles maximum.

Best McDonald's in the local area. The staff do a great job.

Food is basic, and the service is terrible. We waited 25 minutes for our food, they served everyone else who came in after us and left us until last. The only explanation we got was "sorry, it was being prepared." Honestly, don't waste your time!

ordered a quarter pounder and a mchicken sandwich & received 2 fillet o fish & i can’t eat fish!! complete waste of money! plus both fries were freezing

The price it's with 20% more expensive then other MC Donald's.....

Everytime we order any sort of dip, they never put it in, to try make it more clear we added a couple extra so in total it said “5 curry dips, 1 ketchup dip” but no, ZERO dips, so dry nuggets for us yet again

Coke absolutely flat as ice had melted, assuming it had been on the counter for some time before giving ut to deli eru driver. No straws for our meals . No saltbon chips. no care for having items inside the bun instead throw in the burger box .

Ordered over £18 worth of food for my wife and I, table service, took 20 mins to turn up even though we were 2 of 5 people in the place. Food came Luke warm at best, the share box cheese sticks had no cheese inside and some on the outside. Wasn't impressed and won't be using this McDonald's again.

Absolutely poor service that I have just experienced right now. They take forever to do your small order and they aren't even busy. On top of that I had ordered fries. I then observe that the fries are already made and left in the fryer basket. The blonde haired lady then puts those chips back in the fryer for 2 seconds. She then takes out the oily mess of reheated chips and then serves them to me in a bag. Gross and disgusting. I've never had this experience at other mcdonalds. This is an all time low. It's tasted horrible and has been tossed.

By far the worst McDonald's franchise in the local area. Always a long wait. Food always thrown together and cold. Miserable staff. I've just had my last visit there, never again.

Waited 30 mins for food, table service. I went to the counter twice to ask where food was. Cold chips asked for replacement they were not much better. Table next to is complained to, the chips looked like they had been heated up in the microwave

Very quiet and good service. Served Quarter pounder instead of double quarter pounder but changed it soon.

Missing items and constant delay

Waited 15 minutes in the drive through for a big mac meal and a cheeseburger happy meal. Practically through it at me through the car window. Got home and they'd given me nuggets instead of a cheeseburger and the food was cold. Hopeless, just don't bother.

Waited over 15 minutes for food at the drive through. Food came stone cold and items wrong on order, had to go back into the restaurant to get right items. Waste of time

Slow service at 23:00. No mustard or onions in stock for my burger, and gherkins were forgotten, my first fries were stone cold and hard so i asked for warm ones which were not very salty, i think they were understaffed because they were rushing about but service suffered as a result

I’ve visited this branch a number of times both anlone annd with family and the service and food is always Good. This is a FAR superior branch than the one on the retail park at Urmston - whatever you do - DON’t visit that one!

Wasn't informed about the wait on the food until after we paid at the drive through and had to ask for straws for our drinks. Waited for over 20 mins in the car park with no apology and the food wasn't hot when we received it. Got home and they'd forgotten to put in part of the order and one portion of fries was only half filled. Definitely not returning.

The place is filthy. Rubbish all over the floors. Dirty trays handed out. Spilt drinks on the serving counter. Tables covered in rubbish.

Ordered at the parking bays. Waited for 20 minutes so we enquired about it inside and was spoken to as if we were stupid. I’ve had issues with this location before also. Food came out cold and drinks were flat, half empty and room temperature. No apology given to top it all off… Steer clear.

Called here a few times for someone as it is the most convenient. The drive through is reasonably quick sometimes, but others you can be waiting a good 10 to 15 minutes., Be warned the drive through is prioritised over the restaurant customers so if you are going inside and there are long drive through queues then expect a wait and for the counter staff to act like you're invisible. Also been inside and there was a group of teenagers who seemed to know some of the staff who also were prioritised. I have a friend that has complained about the food here to McDonalds and they spammed her email asking for proof of her bank transaction. When she sent it....silence. nothing back. Just a side comment, I do have to laugh at the 5 star reviews on here! All showing professional photos and one even managed to enjoy an afternoon tea and a prosecco. These reviews are obviously to counter the numerous one star reviews so the actual star rating of this restaurant is falsley inflated. All in all I would avoid and try a different restaurant. I've genuinely had quicker service at sit down restaurants.

Drink was delivered spilt & food was cold

Waiting 30 minutes for our food, along with other customers who had also been waiting. Spoken to by the manager who when I asked for a refund because the wait was so long refused me. I asked for her name which she then replied that she wasn't giving it me. So I asked another staff member and they said she's new I don't know it which is clearly a lie. I asked a further member of staff who told me it was Paige. We do have a receipt which I can give details on information if needed. But she was wearing glasses, brown hair and a white Christmas jumper. Visited around 2300. She spoke to me rudely and then walked off in the back and just left me standing there. I then overheard her swearing and saying that there are customers out there that are moaning. Whilst we were waiting there were a large group of teenagers which I am presuming we're staff as they were going into the kitchen helping themselves, asking for food and getting it whilst we were all waiting. They were happy to serve them but not the customers. We received no apology from anyone. I do not appreciate being spoken to like that from a manager I don't care how short staffed they were there is no need for attitude like that. We originally did the drive through but were ignored for around 10 minutes and had to completely reverse out to go into the restaurant where we waited a further 20 minutes.

I prefer this McDonalds to the Trafford retail one. Never get an order wrong and food always hot.

After 3 burnt rolls and now an item missing from my order you have permanantly lost a customer. Shame on you... avoid this mc d's at all costs.

Missing items from order. Looked like the parts of the burger had been thrown randomly into the box in the hope they they would assemble themselves. It was bad, even for a McDonald's.

Well, that was an absolute cluster, in a bit of a rush so had to go for the fast food option, spent what felt like a disproportionate amount of time waiting, all the while listening to the manager dressing down his team about the cleanliness of the kitchen, food comes, Big Tasty with bacon meal, burger was stone cold, fries were lukewarm at best, staff member swapped it with the excuse I'd been given an old burger by mistake. Had to stand around with my new(ish) burger rapidly cooling off with fresh fries were acquired (had to ask for them too. Though the bacon seemed to have evaporated, poor show, but at least I got hot fries.

Dirty tables and toilet. Both looked like had not been cleaned ages. Food and dirt build up around table numbers. Toilet full of dirt did not as it had been cleaned in weeks

We went there over fish burgers smell like burnt I ask for manager they said it’s always like that that’s means you guys not changed the oil and I ask for managers name she refused t give me her name. I never go there again.

Staff rude and slow standing about chatting while customers are waiting half and hour for a basic order. Priority given to the drive in and deliverpoo’s just shocking . Better to go inside the Trafford centre you get served quicker
