Nando's Manchester - Trafford Centre in Trafford

As I vegan, I usually feel relatively safe from food poisoning... not here. Impressive really. I thought at the time that it was the worst nandos I've had, but what followed a few hours later really cemented that.

Excellent customer service. Fresh food. Lovely environment. All staff courteous especially Logan. This place is always busy, do expect to wait. Highly recommended.

Straight to the point... Food ok, service ok, restaurant dirty and tired looking. Seating dirty, walls dirty. Puts you off eating, in my opinion. Come on, Nandos, you're better than this.

Worst nandos EVER. Not one clean toilet to take my daughter to absolutely filthy one had sick that hadn’t been cleaned and I won’t mention what the rest had , “manager” Andy very rude, food was cold,Sauce bottles was filthy, plates knife and forks looked like they hadn’t seen a dishwasher. Staff all looked miserable no wonder with a manager like ANDY. For £90 for a family of four it isn’t what you want! Don’t waste your money get to Ashton under Lyne nandos never disappoints.

i went to have a meal in this restaurant and when i was served my food it tasted off so i had a look at it and the chicken was under cooked im absolutely disgusted by this and when i spoke to a manager he wouldn’t listen when i was tell him that the food wasn’t cooked right he was so ignorant so upset with this restaurant and service would not recommend 🤢

Disgusting service from the inexperienced young manager with the blonde hair & blue shirt. Trying to force us to sit on a table 107 which is clearly too small to fit the meal we were ordering. After asking nicely and explaining the large platter will not fit on such a tiny table with sides and plates, he simply said you will have to manage rather than offering to be reseated on a larger table or even adding an extra table to that table. He simply refused and didn't care . This took place place at - 27.02.25 at 8:45pm. He quite evidently needs some training. We will sure not be coming back and will make sure others do not waste there time either as not to mention we had waited 45mins before even entering.

I visited Nando’s Trafford Centre today and was really disappointed with the customer service. My food and drinks were served, but I wasn’t given a straw. When I politely asked a staff member for one, she rudely told me to “go get it near the till.” I couldn’t help but think—what if a disabled person needed assistance? Would they be treated the same way? To make things worse, I saw another customer (an Asian lad) raise a concern, and instead of handling it professionally, the staff were laughing and talking badly about him. It was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Nando’s needs to seriously reconsider who they’re hiring. Customer service should be about respect and inclusivity, not making people feel uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this branch unless they improve their staff’s attitude.

The girl who served us was so rude and was trying to argue clearly didn’t want to be there. However when we spoke to the manager he was very apologetic and said he’d speak to her. Simply just dont work in hospitality if you can’t give customer service

Great food and Ice cream and service (his name was Usman) were really nice. We went with a group of 10 and the bill was £15 each approximately.

Usman was very helpful and polite, checked on us multiple times and got us anything we needed! Only 4 stars as we always feel like the seating at Trafford Nando’s is too close together and close to walls etc.

i had lunch here with my friends. the food was okay, nothing amazing but still good. i do think it was overpriced for what it was though. i appreciate that they are halal, as this accommodates my dietary restrictions. the service was excellent, friendly staff and the food was served promptly. i didn’t like the system of ordering and paying online before getting the food. i prefer ordering from a physical menu and paying traditionally either via card machine or cash. also it was very loud which i didn’t like.

Food was good. Usman was a really nice waiter and really helpful. He was so good. He made our experience better.

shocking service from Andy one of the managers. Been here over 20 years, wanted to make a specific order and have some breast pieces and happy to pay for it. He claimed he couldn’t do it as not enough stock yet i could see tables next to me getting served breast pieces. He was a terrible manager and i’ve never dealt with a worse person in a restaurant. I’ve been going 20 plus years with no issues. Will be taking this up with management at Head Office. My 3 year old daughter was hungry and needed a breast piece. I sat there and had nothing whilst the rest of my family didn’t enjoy their food anyway. Quality has gone down whilst prices have gone up. Save your money guys, plenty of other options in trafford centre like wing stop etc. nandos is terrible and so are the staff.

Hello. We went for dinner tonight with our friends who came from America. All the food was not cooked properly and my friend got poisoned after eating it because he was so hungry after the flight. Right now as I am writing this we are in the hospital. Also the man who introduced himself as the manager, a very young guy with golden hair, did not help us at all and said that our food is always like this, while I have been coming there with my family for years.

We had an amazing experience at Nando’s thanks to Usmaan, who went above and beyond to make our visit special. There were four of us, including a toddler, and he was incredibly attentive and accommodating. Usmaan made sure we had everything we needed, from helping us find a comfortable spot for the little one to ensuring our meals were perfect. His friendly attitude and excellent service made us feel so welcome. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated, and we’ll definitely be back thanks to him. Thank you, Usmaan, for making our meal so enjoyable!

I visited Nando’s with a few friends, and we were in a bit of a rush. Usmaan was absolutely fantastic—he understood our situation and made sure we got our food quickly without compromising on quality. The food was perfect, and Osman’s friendly, professional attitude made the whole experience stress-free. He went the extra mile to ensure everything was spot-on, and we were really impressed with how smooth and efficient everything was. Visited the place with my family almost a year ago. But google just reminded me to review the place. So basically the place was crowded but the taste was as good as any Nando's!

Nando’s is always nice. However this one is really busy. Specially during holidays. Long wait!

Horrendous experience Sat down on a table that was suppose to be cleaned and when my wife stood up her back was covered in some type of sauce. No apology from anyone they just shrugged their shoulders like it wasn’t their problem. Spoke to the manager and he said “we can’t check every seat it’s not my fault” Server at the tills was rude and uninviting. Food was good once it came out Also the Resturant has a section outside of the main restaurant in the hallway, main entrance to the Trafford centre that was freezing

My niece and I were at the Nando’s in Trafford on a Friday night. Despite it being so busy, staff were really on it and service was very quick. Our server was Usman and he was very nice to both my niece and I :))

Food was bangin. Took a while to cum but it was quite busy. Lovely welcoming atmosphere.

Refused to serve me even when tables were available Manager refused to sit me there as sections were closed Terrible management - waited 1 hr in the queue

Everybody was like we work at the till we can’t help we work in kitchen we can’t help but they were enjoying the drama first we enter Nando’s they guy made us sit outside we told him we want to sit inside he said join the queue again then we again waited 20 minutes after waiting we left Nando’s without having food coz nobody was interested to help us or to told guy why did you made them wait whereas there were empty table. I went there to pay for food not to beg for food. The white little girl said we can’t even take your order now first choose the table we choose the Empty table still she said you need to join queue can’t sit there ?? Why. Worst people

I go there today with my family but the guy at front was racist first he gave us a table outside then we said we want to change the table he was extremely rude and told us to join the queue again whereas there was 6 empty tables inside. Nobody was willing to help. Every single person was rude specially the short tiny guy. Would never visit Nando’s again

So sat here still fuming at the customer service from Zac the manager! The queuing system is quite straightforward but the staff don't follow their own system. Other families with the same number of guests as us were seated before us. I complained and just got sarcasm and patronising comments from zac! If it wasn't for the family wanting to sit and eat after waiting for a while I would have left! I didn't order food but enjoyed the soft drink I shared with my daughter 🙂 The manager needs to get some customer service training by Izzy, she was brilliant. Vote Izzy for manager✔️

I have spoke to the manager to change me seat because where ever I was seat it was cold then the manager goes to me if you don’t want to seat there just leave 26/11/2024 he doesn’t want to we come in because it was after 9Pm

i ordered on the app as we was told to when seated, tried to put my order through it said declined so i checked my bank and they had took my money. i asked a member of staff why this had happened and why i didn’t get a confirmation email he said “it was my bank account” and told me i couldn’t have my food until i ordered again and had to wait for it money to be refunded. my friend had her food brought over and has had to eat by herself and also found something solid in her mash.

After working in the hospitality industry myself for over 10 years I was baffled to see so many members of staff utterly miserable and very rude towards not just ourselves but other customers. From the host to the team member who brought the food and glasses they couldn’t crack a smile or any conservation between them. Know I know hospitality isn’t for the faint hearted and I Would understand if the place was packed but they all seemed to be able to stand around and talk amongst themselves:

A top location and good atmosphere, shame about the service, we asked to have our tables cleaned after sitting and got an object thrown at us by the waitress, can understand it is busy at peak times, but forgetting the unpleasant experience, food was pretty standard.

Bad service !! The customers are treaded with no respect!! staff tdon’t take the orders right .. then when your food comes to the table it’s missing food .. and The staff act like was your fault !!! Just terrible!!!!

Rude lady at the ordering till, no greeting or reading the order back. Delivery of food - had asked for one of the meals to be well cooked and the server didn’t know which meal was which. Chicken was dry and rice was cold

Last review said the customer service was the worst they had experienced. Things have not improved. Staff need some customer service training. That added to tepid food which we mentioned but got a curt response of “is there anything else?” and then just walked away. Not a place I would recommend for a pleasant lunchtime meal to set your shopping afternoon on the right foot.

Had to wait a bit longer since it was the weekend, but it was worth it. The food came out slightly burnt, but they offered a free replacement right away. Service was alright overall.

It was very busy when I came to Nando’s I got a seat and placed my order when it came I very pleased of how well everything was Organised I tasted The peri chicken and it was delicious Next The peri chips along with the peri Garlic sauce was amazing very crispy the chips And lastly the mashed Potatoes If not the best Mashed potatoes so creamy and soft So I recommend Nando’s 10/10 also it’s halal

Andy spoilt our experience here. Terribly rude, disrespectful and dismissive. The manager didn’t even try to solve our issue - stood in the corner watching Andy throw tantrums at customers. I recommend people stay away from his borderline personality (and this Nando’s branch altogether). Chicken was overcooked. Ordered full platter and an additional quarter chicken. Place was dirty and disorganized. Overall a horrible experience. Never coming back here unless they fix their attitudes. Complained to customer service as well by emailing them.

Disappointing. After being dragged in here by a friend she soon realised what a bad choice she’d made. Rude staff who are miserable and lazy, poor service and the food is bland. The vegan options they do have are minor too. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I ordered the vegan wrap and it was the size of an apple. I looked at it thinking ‘where the hell is my food?’

Very slow service, chicken had no flavour even though we asked for medium. Cold chicken, dirty tables and bad service. Avoid if you can.

So I have visited in Nando’s today with my family. I had a full platter on my app and then I requested that can I have the manager (Lisha) Refused it as it is now Nando’s policy that they cannot give four legs as a full chicken and then I asked for a small Print policy she goes oh it’s not Nando’s policy is my policy as a manager as a ex-employer of Nando’s Trafford centre! This is the first time I’ve heard about this. There’s a new scheme of making revenue for Nando’s company as a manager and getting their commission and hitting their target. Would like to advise people to be careful when they’re spending their money and coming to Nando Trafford Centre with the family!

Nando's at Trafford Centre - A Disappointing Experience I visited Nando’s at the Trafford Centre this evening with my daughter, hoping for a relaxing meal and some quality time together. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. While the food was as enjoyable as expected, the atmosphere was anything but. We spent a significant portion of our visit listening to a loud and heated argument between another customer and the manager. It was hard to focus on our conversation or enjoy the meal with the commotion going on nearby. The issue seemed to drag on, creating a really uncomfortable and tense environment for everyone sat close by. I understand that situations with difficult customers happen, but the way it was handled left a lot to be desired. The conflict overshadowed what should have been a pleasant evening out with my daughter. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that affected the mood of our visit. Nando’s is usually a place we enjoy, but this particular evening was spoiled by the poor handling of a disruptive situation.

Worst customer services ever. The food was cold, half the things didn't arrive even after asking 3 different staff members. The plates and cutlery were dirty. The staff didn't even know what customer services was. Need training again Doesn't even deserve a single star. Come on nandos I'm sure you can do better

Absolutely love a Nando's, but honestly can say this is one of the slowest restaurants which has the rudest staff in. Once we had gotten seated we placed our order and waited… and waited and yes waited it had been 45 minutes after we had paid and all we had gotten was our drinks. From the table we was sat at we could see the food we had order for a lot of the time we waited. So I told a member of staff and he had to get the kitchen to remake our food as it was probably cold. They were slightly rude and I can honestly say not very hard working. I’m sad to say I won’t be a returning customer to this Trafford Centre Nando’s.

Me and my family normally go to nandos. Sometimes the wait is ridiculous and the food is cold and not made properly, but this one time I was fuming. Me and my family came to eat one time and the wait took 1 hour but that was fine but this was on a whole different level. The wait took 30 minutes but half of the seats were open. We finally got a table and ordered our food. We were waiting for 30 minutes until finally our halloumi came. That was perfectly fine until my family member asked for mayo and the waitress came back to our section and started talking to someone else and didn't have our mayo. We finally told her about it and she can back with it. Another 30 minutes after our food came. My family member was going to ask for something else but as soon as the waiter put the food down he ignored us and left. The food was cold and the loaded fries had a little bit of cheese in the middle. Not happy nandos

Visited on Monday morning, Wes served us multiple times and was fantastic both me and my wife commented on how friendly and helpful he was.

Ordered a chicken pitta here and when it arrived the slice of chicken inside the pitta was the size of a small chicken tender. It wouldn't even fill a toddler up, let alone an adult. Gutted that I didn't take a picture of it to post on here. When i mentioned it to the staff member he dismissed it completely and said that it was standard to serve it as such a tiny portion! Needless to say I won't becoming back here again.

We visited on a Tuesday hoping it wouldn’t be too busy, it was very busy however obviously that’s understandable and can’t be helped. What can be helped however is the staff attitude. We were waiting in the queue for roughly half an hour, as we got to the front a woman in the queue next to us had her phone stolen, she was largely ignored by staff and she was asking if we had seen. A staff member came over to tell us they had a table for us and as I went to just say ‘i’m really sorry i hope you find it’ to the woman, a blonde female member of staff shouted ‘HE SAID TABLE FOR TWO’ right at us, whatever anyway we headed to the table where there were kids screaming and running about the entire time we were there. Went to order on the QR code however we had a gift card as it was actually a birthday trip, but apparently you can’t put them in online and you have to go the till which isn’t a great idea from nando’s when they have branches this busy, so had to go up to order which again the queues inside were absolutely massive and the staff were moving really slowly, my partner then got shouted at by the same woman as earlier for apparently not being stood in exactly the right spot (it was so busy she was just stood where she could be) i work in hospitality and know it is stressful when it’s busy however there is never an excuse to shout at customers, and me and my partner were already extremely overwhelmed at this point to the point my partner was nearly in tears after being shouted at. What’s the point in having a queue outside if you can’t even manage the customers inside and people are having things stolen and staff are shouting at customers? when the order eventually came it was also wrong, i ordered a grilled chicken pitta and added cheese etc however it came as just a small uncut lump of chicken breast with a tiny bit of hot sauce in a pitta for £8, actually quite depressing. Just felt like a waste of a birthday, with the gift card and having to spend our own money on top when we could have just gone somewhere else.

Mixed review on this one. Service and atmosphere were great however was disappointed with food as chicken was very dry.

I recently visited Nando's in the Trafford Centre with a mate and I tried the loaded chips. They were crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor! A perfect snack or side dish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tasty treat while shopping at the Trafford centre!

I want to thank the manager Gus who was friendly and welcoming. Upon entering the restaurant, I saw Gus working efficiently and quickly to get the tables clear so that more customers could be seated due to it being busy. He was very informative when I had asked him a question about our food order and was able to help me with ordering the food and making a change. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and hot. Thank you for the excellent service Gus ☺️ and ensuring our food order came to us very quickly.

Huge wait every time to get in,, took 45 min to get in

Prepare to wait in line for hours, especially if you are visiting on weekends with kids and family. The customer service is lacking; they seem to have a high turnover rate with no permanent staff, resulting in a lack of loyalty to the workplace. The food is ok but nothing exceptional. Be cautious of the serving plates and cutlery as they are frequently dirty, requiring you to clean them yourself. The cleanliness of the toilets leaves much to be desired as they are never well-maintained.

Five stars to the staff. Such a busy place but they all deal with havoc with a smile on their face. A massive shout out to manager Rick. He arranged a table for 16 for me so quickly. Places like these shiuld have a manager like him.

Staff very unfriendly and unwilling to help because its self service. I personally hate ordering by app so ordered at the till but the lady didn't speak very good English. There were no knives left so I asked staff who said just wait there 5 mins I'll get some. My food was on the table so I asked if they could bring them over I was looked at with disgust and asked my table number. The knives never arrived. Staff didn't advise we had to get our own plates or cutelry at arrival, just handed menus and given a seat. It's basically like a canteen but more expensive. I cannot believe the staff were put out if you even asked them a question, and were all miserable.Fair to say we will never eat at Nandos again. What's happened to customer service ??? .

This Nando’s had some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I never write bad reviews, but I had to make an exception. Lining up, to sitting down, to getting our food took over 2 hours. Upon sitting down, we were met with dirty seats with salt and rice on them. Once our food finally came out, we were unable to eat it as we were not given any plates or cutlery. When we were offered plates and cutlery, half of the table had finished their food. When we were asked how our experience was, the manager denied our claims and did not seem apologetic in the slightest. When we went to the bathroom (pictured), we saw dirty floors and dirty tables (also pictured). I am especially disappointed since we are from Canada and visiting our family here. I understand that not everything is in the control of the wait staff, but this was just plain bad service. Do not recommend.

I went to Nando's and there was quite abit of a wait to get in even though it was just for 2 people. Once we got seated I wanted to go place my order at the till again we were asked to que and wait but the staff were not serving the customers. Until I brought it to the Manager attention that I wanted to pay for my order. The Staff on the till were not even busy. Then eventually I got Served. The chips were a small portion and not warm enough. The cutley was not as clean. The chicken was ok. The Staff were not as attentive to the customers. Which was disappointing. Not managed well. Hopefully my future visit will be a better experience.

Food was great with fast and friendly service

Awful cooking, completely burnt chicken. Asked for it to be changed and they got me almost raw chicken. Honestly the service here was always on top previously, but this is my second visit this month and I am most probably not coming again.

Being a Nando’s customer for the past 12 years, I’ve never experienced a such bad customer service like today’s I use a different Nando’s restaurant at all time, today decided to pay a visit to the Trafford centre store. The gentleman on the door took me to the table number 117, placed my order on the website which is great to use if you know what you having. I had a Charing platter for my self accompanied with two large Sade, spicy rice and creamy mashed potatoes which was dead dry in the side, looked like was over heated in the microwave. Staff was really rude, one of the waitress who literally stood on my hill from the back while I was on my way back to the table from bringing cutlery with no apologies whatsoever, I was chocked. I’ve nicely asked for a glass to help my self some watter here realised that must be something going on between the staff, could clearly feel the negative energy between the staff and I though they must have had a bad day. Finished my meal Which was for two ppl on my own and no one has asked of everything was ok nor picking the table stick showing others the table been checked on, although the manager being around in green shirt seen him walking through the shop floor for the sake of walking and had no sense nor a vision on what’s going on the front of the house despite the eye contact we had while I was eating. What a shame becose this rude customer service I received from those two waitresses I will never step in Nando’s again. The best branch I regularly visit it’s Manchester four. You can’t beat their customer service there. But sorry guys won’t be back again.

Dined in Nando's Trafford Centre quite a few times, it is nice food, we tried a variety of things..burgers, wraps, wings and rice. Just felt a little rushed, too busy for great service!

this was the worst experience i’ve ever had at nandos. i got the loaded chips and when it came the chicken was rock solid. my friend also got the loaded chips and hers was not only solid as well but pink!! i complained about the food and when i did they tried to offer me more chips. i’ve never felt more sick in my life and the chicken i took a bite out of has made me ill. DO NOT COME HERE

Came in earlier guy pushed in and this old Indian women worker was very rude was told he pushed in then she proceeded to laugh and when the manger came she was laughing more appalling behaviour should be fired.
