Somebody get rid of the person on the till. She is so sloooooooooooow!!! Maybe management do it to control to crowd but she does not know how to take orders!

Great place, friendly staff and lovely food

Missing a massive amount of items from their menu and also service felt half hearted from some staff.

Surly attitude of waitress who showed us to a table. Although the restaurant was a third full she tried to sit us next to the pass. We asked if we could be seated elsewhere and she made a show of it being inconvenient as it meant tables that hadn't been cleared after visitors had left needed to be cleaned. I was all for leaving but my partner wanted to remain. Ordered the meal using QR code, the same waitress only delivered one of the two drinks ordered so had to show her my order for her to bring the other. She'd probably had a hard day and was looking forward to going home, but at least she hadn't been working in the rain all day like I had.

Nandos, known for the chicken but ran out of chicken... only got told when we got to the till. Would've helped if they told us when we entered the restaurant. Waited 20 minutes to get a table, and kids already chose what they wanted. The quality of the chicken was poor as it wasn't marinated properly due to the back order.

As a delivery driver i can say this is one of the slowest restaurants in town with sometimes orders being 40+mins late.It used to be a nice place it bacame one of the worst

Hello there! I am happy to share my experience of exceptional customer service received at Nando's Leicester - Freemans by Raul. Last night, my missus and I went for dinner at Nandos and were extremely impressed with the way Raul treated us. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with a big smile and made us feel welcome. Raul took the time to explain the menu to us and even made some recommendations based on our preferences. Throughout the meal, he checked on us regularly to ensure that we were enjoying our food and that everything was to our satisfaction. What impressed me the most was how Raul went above and beyond to make our experience special. His attention to detail and genuine care for his customers was truly exceptional. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at Nandos thanks to Raul's exceptional customer service. We left feeling happy and satisfied, and we will definitely be coming back soon. We hope that Nandos management recognizes and appreciates the value that Raul brings to their team.

Nandos for such a big food chain, was disappointing with the organisation and service. You have to wait in a long queue to be seated when there's half a dozen tables empty, just no one there to get them cleaned. The same person who was seating people was cleaning the tables too. As for the food it took a while, and the food was standard nothing special. I would however think twice before going again, as I wouldn't want to wait so long in the queue in the cold and then waiting so long in another queue to order food and then waiting again so long for food to arrive. we were in the restaurant an hour before we got our food.

Took my family to this Nando's for my son's birthday dinner and was not disappointed. Right from the lady that got us a table within minutes of arrival to the friendly guy who absolutely nailed our large complicated order (fussy children). The place was spotless and the staff were very organised, and the food was great. Definitely going back.

Ordered through the app to serve on my table and it came 15-20 minutes later. The chicken was nice and marinated however it wasn't flavoured inside the chicken breasts so that was a concern for me (maybe other people might like it this way) as for the liver, chips, garlic bread and rice it was lovely with no problem

Turned up for lunch. Waited for a member of staff to seat us, no-one bothered. Popped to the toilet while waiting - disgusting, clearly hadn't been cleaned for hours. More tables had empty plates waiting to be cleared than there were clear tables. Gave up after 5 mins of no-one acknowledging us and walked out.

This is our regular Nandos albeit not the closest one but there's something about the taste of the chicken here that always hits the spot!! We had a little issue on a previous visit but the current manager, Syed couldn't have been more professional and is an asset to the Nandos family! He sorted it all out with a smile and regained our trust in returning here and enjoying a lovely family meal!! Thanks again Syed and see you soon!

I have visited this place with my wife and my kid to spend a good quality family time with the expectations of the quality food and the quality service. But unfortunately I have expected far more than the reality at this place ! Yes , I have ordered some drinks , starters and main course food via Nando’s App and waited almost 15 mins before they serve us the pitta bread and drizzle ! That was quick . But we were looking at each other waiting for our drink! . The second person came after 15 mins with the main course meal ! That was quick too but without the drinks !! We asked him that where is our drinks , he said “ oh you didn’t get your drinks yet ? Let me arrange that for you noting our table number was 20“ we again waited for 5 mins looking at our starter and main course meal getting cold for the drinks.. well the story doesn’t end here .. the lad who took our complaint and noted the table number were roaming around without any efforts making things right at least . I had to go to the counter asking the lady can we have our drinks at least after 10-15 mins now from the main course served and 30 mins after the starters ! The lad who noted our table number to arrange the drinks asked me sorry what’s your table number ? I felt like I take the table and put in front of the till counter ! They three behind the counter made face with each other and looked the lad with the exclamation emotions and one of the lady said “sorry we were busy that why “ . Wow what a response ! Finally we got our warm beer and wine when our starter and main course got cold and the garlic bread like a chew gum ! Fantastic service guys … keep it up ! One day this branch will get closed I’m sure . Never gonna go again this branch ! Worst ever food and service !! I should have given one star but I kept it for two for the sake of the Nando’s name only !

First off tried to ring to see how busy it was instead of driving all the way let it ring for about 5 mins no answer…. Literally came in tonight at 8ish, told my mrs to wait in car as pointless going in to be told it’s an hour wait…. Waited at the door along with a few others I was 2nd in the queue… stood there for 5+ minutes not one single person came to the door to just give us some information! All I wanted to know was how long the wait was. Absolutely shambolic service. Won’t be visiting this restaurant ever again.

Thieves!!!!! Don’t order from this place. We ordered and waiting for 30 minutes. Just to have the drivers say they delivered the food with a blurry pic but they don’t delivered it. You have to wait for an email to put In a complaint for refunds

I made an order to my hotel through the online order portal as I like to place orders directly from restaurants wherever possible to avoid fees for both parties. I did not receive my food for my whole family and the delivery driver blatantly lied and said the food was delivered. I was in the lobby since I placed the order and not 1 person came in or around the hotel. After 6 phone calls and text messages exchanged with the driver, the driver randomly “completed” the order. After calling the support team, not only was I left without food for my family and kids but also Nando’s requires an investigation and more emails to respond to receive the refund. This is just unacceptable and beyond frustrating

Terrible service! - The staff are not friendly and rude towards children especially when you first walk in - food burnt and not cooked properly everything is rushed. Atmosphere dull this Nandos branch has gone downhill, won't be returning again save your money and go somewhere else!

Damien I think was his name. Top lad and a smile the way through. Food was great today and prompt. No issues. Was freezing due to AC being way up. Other than that great afternoon munch. Music could do with a change too.

Possibly the worst serving experience I've ever had.

Told to wait 20 minutes until we were contacted on the app. Returned after 40 minutes and explained politely we had been waiting and asked was there a table available yet. The server continually interrupted saying did i message you? did i message you though? when we were only checking on our table. we were then not given plates for the sharing platter even when we asked and eventually had to go ask the kitchen ourselves to get them.

I can't believe someone plated this up and the server served it to my son. Corn on the cob burned almost half the way round as pictured. Very apologetic and replaced with one straight away, and although asked if we needed anything else didn't really do anything to make us feel better about it. Service was polite, not friendly Grubby toilets, soap dispenser didn't work, and someone's bicycle in the hall next to the toilets. Electrical cupboard door appeared ajar but that and a fire extinguisher obstructed by a bike and a chair Not the usual Nandos standard. Edit: Added 2 start back for Nandos customer response and resolution, they reassure me the issues have been dealt with.

Visited Nando’s (Freemans Common), Leicester. Had excellent customer service from the staff. Denise who was extremely helpful, polite and courteous. Jasmine took my order and explained what options I had when ordering and was also very helpful and courteous. She made sure I did not forget my takeaway and reminded me before I left the restaurant. Their work ethics were recognised and definitely will be going here again. Have visited many Nando restaurants in Leicester but have not received this kind of customer service.

Manager was very rude, because we went at 9pm and it closes at 10pm - so it felt the staff were more bothered about closing up then serving. There was no cutlery and the sauces were all put away. The manager was not interested in serving us and had an attitude problem. Will not be going back. Seemed a bit like he was targeting us due to our appearance.

Not impressed with the size of the imitator wrap. It is usually much larger but was served significantly smaller than our previous visits. Please keep the size and fillings consistent as there aren't many vegetarian options on the menu to begin with. It was smaller than a child's portion.

Came here yesterday a group of 8 of us. Food came out really quick and was nice. Did feel sorry for the solitary waitress though that seemed to be doing all the work and serving at the till. Our main gripe though was that the music was just a little too loud making it hard to hear ourselves talking. Also remember to key in your car registration number for 4 hours free parking, otherwise you can be fined unless you’ve paid for parking.

It was good to eat in Restaurant but as I order for takeaway I have to wait half an hour and the chicken was not cooked . Never ever want to visit

Good food with good service, nice atmosphere and decent prices. Very well located. Has plenty of parking spaces outside just need to remember to register your car when you enter the restaurant.

The food was standard nandos however the service was somewhat lacking. They need to improve the experience .

Have been visiting this particular franchise for years. Food is always well prepared,staff is always helpful and friendly,even though they have changed over the years. Whatever they're doing at this franchise,they're doing very well.

Excellent food! Would Highly recommend to others. Chicken was cooked to perfection & tasted amazing. Would give 5stars but sweetcorn was burnt. Everything else was perfect the macho peas & Longstem broccoli plus chips. Thank you Nandos 😊 ❤️

This branch has the most excellent customer service! I have been eating at nandos for over 15 years and the start here are just amazing!

Normally a fan of this Nandos but I came here with family on a Wednesday/Thursday night for a birthday meal. The shift manager at the time sat us down to our table but did not tell us that they'd pretty much ran out of quarter and half chickens (Only 3 quarters left in total). We didn't find out until going to the till, by that point we'd sat down and got settled etc. Did not appreciate not being told about the food shortage, would've tried a different Nandos.

Poor service. Been waiting for over 50 minutes just to be seated. Then an extra 30 mins for food to be served. When the food arrived it was wrong then had to wait an extra 15 minutes just to bring out the correct food. This is the worst Nando’s I have come to and won’t be coming back to this branch again.

The way they treat their delivery partners is appalling.

First time I've been to a Nandos. Not really a restaurant in my opinion. The staff were non-attentive to say the least! They were mostly school leavers that really couldn't care less of their assigned job. So yes, very bad service, they forgot our order twice, and even got it wrong the 3rd time. Ask them for something they don't come back. The food, okay, nothing special

The food is mediocre in general but the vegetarian food is less than poor. Limited choice and inedible! The dining chairs look ready for the skip. The floor is sticky! The alcohol is served warm.

Everything went to plan. Good food, good service and the great point of this nandos is the easy parking outside. Just don’t forget to enter the car registration on arrival

Parking has no signage even if you look for it. Expect a £100 fine from the parking, and the businesses don’t seem to care. Food is alright - the portions keep getting smaller each time we’re there.

This particular location has become a shambles. Waited 45 minutes to get a table, then a further 30 minutes in the queue because they had 1 member of staff on the tills. The member of staff then told us it would be another 30 minutes to bring the food out to our table. On top of that the lady at the till said there’s been no straws for 2 weeks. The floors were so filthy it was like an ice rink. Will not be returning to this location again. 2 stars is generous only because the staff are nice.

Food wise it's alright but service is a let down. To start with 40 minutes wait outside for a text when the place looked 1/4 empty? I guess they must been behind prepping the food/orders, possibly collections, I don't know. 55 minutes after placing our order, during which time we was watching people who came ages after us having their food brought over to their tables, we've flagged the Manager and ask why our food is being delayed so much. She came back after few minutes with our orders, was very polite, offered to get us dessert but we said it's fine. All three of us was so hungry we dug in straight into the food, bearly managed to take a couple of photos. Unfortunately one dish came luke warm. The waitress offered to take it back but having spent 40 minutes waiting outside and an hour for food it was pointless to wait even further.

Best Nando’s we’ve been to, the food came out super quick and the lady that served us (Jasmine) was friendly, lovely and welcoming!

Waited 10-15 Minutes at the front waiting to be seated, gave up and approached 1 of 3 empty tables and was immediately stopped by a staff member and told they were full. Lazy and rude staff, won't be visiting a Nando's again for a while.

Great grub, friendly staff and clean!

Great experience. Had a mishap with our order which hadn't shown properly on the ticket the staff recieved, and therefore we were missing an item. Anne and the rest of her team apologised immensely once they'd figured out the error, and we were refunded for the error and still given what we asked for. Brilliant service, food was perfect.

Waiting 20 min for a table is one thing, but then to receive cold food was a real disappointment - enjoyed time with the family but didn't enjoy the food and probably wont come back.

Nice Halal Nando’s in Leicester, have been here multiple times. Weekends they are extremely busy so best to avoid if you are in a rush!

Awful on saturday 23rd. NO burgers, NO wraps, NO pittas, NO livers and NO coleslaw....ran out apparently. After having not been for a while, we as a family were looking forward to our meal. This was very quickly soured when we turned up and there was nothing we wanted in stock. We understand that there are football matches etc. HOWEVER pre plan and anticipate so that here is enough for evening diners. This is not the first time that Leicester has had home football matches. We just ate because we had beeb fasting all day.very very DISAPPOINTED in Nandoes.

Bit overpriced for what we got. (Food portions was tiny) Staff looks like it's their first day at this work. Waitress told us that he's gonna bring two plates for us but he went to talk with other colleagues while our food was on the table becoming cold.

Wasn't impressed food wasn't worth the cost very noisy and definitely not as good as the nando's at Teesside park Stockton ☹️

Not the best experience today but won't stop me going back as the issues were quickly resolved the food was still delicious! All 3 of us ordered grilled pineapple and it came over cold - straight out the can! So we had to ask for it to go back and actually be GRILLED. The cola in the pump was flat so we told a member of staff but they didn't come back to tell us it was sorted so although we paid for bottomless drinks we had pretty much finished eating before we got a drink! However the Sunset burger is just the best!

One my favorite places in UK, this branch is extra special as it offers Halal chicken. I have tried many items and most of them are all tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They hygiene level is also good at this place and the parking is so easy.

Food was great but the service however wasn't, we went when it was quiet and our food was prepared quickly but it sat at the window for a while until we received our food, then we ordered takeaway for our friend and the food was ready but the server at first said its not ready until she checked the basket where the food was kept, The staff weren't rude at all however just because it's slow doesn't mean that the service should fall as well.

Went today at 8:30pm they refused to gave us table for two when we asked so many table were empty when we asked why they can't gave us table they said it's alredy booked for 32 people's are coming so we decided to go takeaway within that time no one came around 9pm then we start making video amd taking picture even staff was eating on one table see attached three was more then half nandos were empty.

I went for a meal a couple weeks ago and had a very bad experience. The food was cold and didn’t taste as usual, when I complained the staff were not helpful. It’s not to say I wouldn’t go again. Generally Food has been nice in the past.

unfortunately i have had an extremely disappointing and disgusting experience at nandos freeman park, leicester, this evening. Thursday 17th February 2022. I live in Nottingham and decided to bring my family on their half term holidays to nandos Leicester. After travelling 30 miles we arrived at nandos and were told there was a 1 hour wait, even though the restaurant wasnt full there were tables free, so we waited to be called back. After we got the message a table was available we were seated at our table, we were having trouble ordering at the table so we went to the till. Ordered our food but there was another 40 mins wait before the food came. We were halfway through the meal when i cut into a piece of chicken and there was blood. Called the manager who tried to convince me this was normal to have blood coming out of the chicken, after a short discussion she admitted it shouldn't have happened. My family and i were feeling unwell for the rest of the night. unfortunately will not be visiting nandos again.

Dirty, dusty and can't take in any tables for 2 with hardly anyone kn the restaurant shows how lazy they are!

Food was great however service was atrocious.
