Visited on a very busy Friday evening. From the very moment you enter the premises, service was faultless. Whilst it was busy, everything was clean and staff were superb. Special mention to Jay - wonderful service. Yes, it is a Nando's. Yes, we all know what to expect. But, credit where credit is due. Wonderful staff made the experience that much better!

Angelo was amazing! Service was great and made it such a nice atmosphere. Came here with my friends and kept checking up to make sure everything was ok or if we needed anything. Thank you!

We enjoyed a lovely meal on Monday at Nando’s. The staff were really welcoming, attentive and respectful. The restaurant had a warm and happy feel to it that emanated from the staff as soon as we entered. They made eye contact with us and took time to speak to us too. Food was really tasty too. A lovely experience was had and would highly recommend it.

Nandos is nandos. Decent food, easy service. It is what you think it is, just very good chicken and this branch is always pretty reliable.

Lovely food, fantastic service on Thursday evening. Angelo was brilliant - he got me some extra chilli jam for free when I didn’t realise I could ask for more, and it really made the meal even better. He’s fantastic with customers and a real asset to your staff team!

DO NOT order Nandos online for the Hemel Hempstead venue. I ordered via the Nandos app and the order did not go through, but hey of course the thieving scammers debited my hard earned £21 i🤬 The Agent I spoke to said casually "yeah, you know this happens sometimes". Seriously?! Just a total lack of interest at the fact that customers are being ripped off 24-7. I now have to wait 72 hours for a refund. Great. The Manager I spoke to (Kyro) confirmed there's an IT issue with the payment system which "they're working on". More lame excuses. Good job Nandos👍🏽Feel proud at delivering such a dishonest, immoral, unscrupulous, unprofessional and insensitive service. I have deleted the app. Please do not waste your time with these incompetent people. Stick to Uber or JE. At least you get your order 😒

Dan at nandos Hemel Hempstead was absolutely amazing!!! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make sure we got the right order even though it was towards the end of the day and stock was low. She is an asset to the company and should be a very valued member of staff. Thank you Dan, I hope you get the recognition you deserve :)

Always efficient, no delays or long queues for seating

Jamie was amazing, his service is top notch and he was very friendly and welcoming. Took me to my seat and cleaned my table and asked if i had any allergies and if i knew how to order. Jamie should be a manager as he obviously knows what he is doing to a high standard

lovely young lad named jamie greeted us at the door and was very polite. he made sure to check for no allergies straight away and was helpful informing me of the kids menu for my little sister especially since it was her first time at nandos

This was a mixed experience, the food was well made and presented in the usual way, but the ordering service was abysmal. I rang in advance to check if it was busy, a bright chirpy lad answered and was helpful. Upon entering (and later leaving) the same young lad (I think) welcomed/bid us farewell, with a smile and was friendly. The app ordering unfortunately doesn't allow for dietary restrictions and with a nut allergy sufferer with us this means we have to order at the bar. This was a slow and painful service... The lady (with the tartan shirt) seemed apathetic to service or questions...she took ages and really didn't want to help or assist. She also managed to put the wrong drinks on the order, if you ask for cider on draught that's not the same as general beer...(Which incidentally we discovered they only did by the bottle after being told they wouldn't change it) I asked if they had butterfly chicken (as the app didn't display it but the paper menu did) I was sort of ignored, asked again and she just said no...the 2 person platter had it on, so have they discontinued it for one person? Still haven't a clue as no interest was given. Food itself came out hot, and promptly, and our server was friendly and came back to check (within 10 mins) if everything was okay. Rather odd but they didn't have salt and pepper shakers, and I was given (by a very nice friendly Indian waitress) a handful of sachets. I only saw one pepper shaker on the condiments shelf also?! I know most people like the sauces but just odd... The restaurant itself was clean and tidy with lots of space and seating, even for waiting at the door. Quite loud with very few natural sound barriers but it's a chain, so really not that big of a deal with mains and drink averaging £14-20pp really not that bad. Disabled access was great with lots of space and large round tables for seating (I would call and pre check). It's bit of a faff distance wise from a disabled space to the door, if you need to use the ramp(but as we all know that's normal everywhere). Huge carpark with loads of car parking spaces, and lots of disabled spaces (even though half had forgotten to put their blue badge in their cars...but hey ho nevermind. Overall a nice restaurant with great food vs cost. Other than the till server who walked round the restaurant like a snail with total reluctantance to work... Maybe she could have some extra listening and speed training...just a thought...

One of the few reasonably priced restaurants in 2024 England. Great vegan wrap, and helpful staff let us switch kids meal chicken for vegan equivalent. Was better when the Saka collab was still running, but still great.

You can never go wrong with Nando but this one is my favourite!

Cheeky Nandos, no more to be said!!

Had an order for delivery. They had forgotten a part of my order. I had ordered a chicken wrap and the chicken was out on the wrap withthe smallest portion of chicken. Will not place for delivery again.

Weird experience! Ordered via the app as suggested by the server. Got our drinks but after 50 mins of no food we finally asked someone when we could expect the food. They couldn't find the order any more so asked if I could show them the order from the app. The server then asked if she could take my phone to show the kitchen for the order, which I reluctantly agreed to. After 5 mins I still didn't have my phone back, and could see she'd moved on so I had to ask another staff member to get it - they then got her to get it from the kitchen counter. Once we did get our order the food was good, but was not a good experience!

Showed up 10 minutes before closing tonight and was told no sit in. If eat in closed at 930pm then the manager should put it in writing on the door. Looked like she wanted to go home early. Disappointed.

Big up my main man Bash! Our food took long to come due to issues with factory machine, so bash sorted me and 3 of my friend out with a slice of cheesecake! Legend!

Had the rainbow bowl with a chicken breast. Very tasty and filling.

Absolutely love Nando’s! My personal favourite restaurant, with excellent food and highly attentive service. Would recommend the peri peri chips and chicken burger, as they were so flavoursome, and free refill station was so much fun! Thanks Nando’s for another incredible experience ❤️

After a 40 minute wait received basically uncooked food. Chicken was completely cold and absolutely did not touch the grill, tasted like wet boiled meat. Every time I visit this branch you have to wait at least 30-40 minutes to get your food even if the restaurant is not busy.

There was a rubbish atmosphere in this Nandos this evening, they have changed their supplier for the pittas and they are dry and stale tasting. When we tried to speak to the manager he was rude and accusationary, he knew the pittas had changed as he started listing the new ingredients, this doesn't help as they still taste stale. The wait for food was over an hour and several tables complained which made the manager more rude as the evening went on leading to customers talking between tables to complain between each other and to the manager. Some people got their food and 10 minutes later their eating companions would get theirs if not later. I've always enjoyed coming to Nandos but today it was rubbish.

Arrived during the sweet spot between lunch and dinner for a takeaway. The food was hot, accurate, and arrived promptly. However, attempting to snag sauce pots from the waitress felt like extracting blood from a stone; she guarded them as if they were her own. In the end, the food was fantastic, delivering precisely what you'd anticipate from a Nando's experience.

We have had takeaway from here a few times, they tell you it will be another 10 mins when you get there, every time it’s at least 20 mins longer than our allotted time, zero apology from staff. The chicken is always SO dry. Sides are fine.

Haven’t been to Nando’s in ages, but had a pre Xmas dinner with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I even ordered takeaway at the end of the meal, for my son and the staff offered to keep it warm, whilst I carried on chatting with my friends.

I spend way too much time here, the foods on point, the staff are indifferent, some acknowledge you, some dont, depends how busy they are. Cutlery not always clean & Ive had some dubious corn on the cobs.. yes Im writing about corn on the cobs.. its the small things that matter right? I once got sold a sauce that had been on display… it tasted like spicy vinegar, spoilt my food, it was a takeaway so wouldn’t get a refund, I told the staff upon my return & they just laughed.. if that was a norther nandos, Id of been offered a refund… fact

We visited on Friday the 29th and the food and service was excellent, we were greeted by the manager at the door and she was brilliant and attentive!

Minada was a very welcoming, friendly and patient front of house member tonight, he warmly welcomed us into the restaurant and was happy to help with any queries swiftly rather than having to wait a few minutes at most restaurants. He was quick to help us out with a spilled drink and solved the problem without any hassle without interrupting our dining experience. Really sound guy he gets the Top G status. The food was overall really good as well - don’t come to Nando’s often but happened to choose this one after getting a gift voucher for Christmas. Value for money >>>> Will be returning soon.

Very busy on the weekends so it is worth booking ahead. We had a 25 minute wait for our party of 6, no booking. Staff all friendly and accommodating has expected. And food is the typical nando's quality.

Busy, so make sure you book or turn up earlier, plenty of parking, food was lovely, staff are very accommodating and approachable. Unless you are not a fan of spice the medium sauce is fab. We ordered a chicken burger, chicken butterfly with coleslaw and spicy rice & a lemon and herb butterfly with fries coleslaw and a lemon and herb mayonnaise for dipping.

We had mixed feelings from visiting this Nandos..the food was fine (the chicken was a bit overcooked), the drinks were good but the seating wasn’t very comfortable (we were seated at a booth table) and the service was pretty poor. The staff were not interested in providing a welcoming/helpful service. I understand that it isn’t the most interesting of jobs to do but as a customer I felt as if I was inconveniencing them by being a diner. I think I’ll stick to visiting different local restaurants.

Over all for nando one of the better experiences did not have all menu items but was unable aa delivery was late

Unfortunately, there was some poor communication between the front of house staff, which resulted in me left waiting for about 15 minutes to pick up my food. I later rang the restaurant as they had also forgotten a food item from my order. I was promised a partial refund, but when I called several days later, there was no record of my complaint. Communication could do with some improvement. I eventually got my refund, but I had to argue my case with several customer service agents.

Second time visiting this Nandos and both the food and service were as to be expected. Ordered at the table via the app which seems to be a lot easier and quicker than having to go up to the tills at busy times.

Have been to this Nandos many times. It's our favourite one to go to in the area as the tables are spaced out nicer than others.

Absolute disgrace! Spend £50 half was cold and they sent me corn on the cob for my kids that I wouldn’t give to a stray dog clearly out of date! Got no refund at all

Portions small, food tasted good and made with care.

I felt very sorry for the staff here when visiting. Clearly trying to keep up with in store customers , takeaways and deliveroo/Uber eats deliveries. We waited 40 minutes for our food only for it to arrive cold. Would definitely suggest management either hire more staff to help their existing ones or stop taking so many customers knowing full well you can’t cope.

Unfortunately, the meal was cold, had another meal to go, and this was colder. The restaurant was busy, which is why I think the food was mediocre.

Food overall was nice but I believe they have too many staff and after waiting a good 30-40 minutes for food all you saw was about 6 members of staff just standing around waiting for the food to be ready whilst we was sat down we did see a few people get up and walk out, but during our time there we could barely here one another as it was so loud just not a great atmosphere

The manager of this branch she refused to take our order while they were taking other’s order ( visible in the photo) and asked me and my family leave 15 minutes prior to close!!! ( while my son was starving and wanted Nandos so much) With excuse that they don’t have enough staff to serve, which was a lie since others were getting served.

Water filter is unsafe! Decided against sugar drinks, and opted for water. Water came extremely cloudy, mentioned this to a member of staff who just said "that's how it is, just wait for it to dissolve." Obviously not giving a care. If an establishment can't manage to provide clean drinking water, I can't imagine the other practices going on! Just an overall lack of care, if they can't get the basics right, then what else are they getting wrong?
