Very efficient staff. When I couldn't decide which salad to get with my mains, the lovely lady at the till gave me a little sample of 2 to help me decide! Now THATS hospitality!

It's Nandos, you know what you're getting. Sometimes when you can't be bothered making something to eat its worth going. I like the half chicken. Good variety of sauces available.

Lovely food , restaurant was clean enough , one meal was forgotten and we had to ask multiple members of staff to bring it out, one lovely girl called libby helped us get it out she was polite and helpful despite saying they were understaffed and busy - just wanted to say thank you so much to her

Place half empty, yet we had to wait 15/20 mins for a table, was about 7 people waiting for a table that was available, we were only a table of 2, so either short of staff or didn’t give 2 chickens about anything, we walked out after a 15 min wait as no moment at so went for fish n chips,

Dirty tables , expensive food and small portions. You must be crazy to visit this place . Spent £50 for two people . With this money you can eat at the best reataurants in the area

What happened with this place? I just had a meal ( delivery) after a couple of months not eating there and it's inedible... Chips are very dry, like there ware fried Yesterday... I can only taste Burned chicken skin ... Rainbow coleslaw average, no spices at all... That was my favourite meal in the past, I'm very disappointed 😞

Expensive, small portions , probably not worth it.

We were first shown to a table that had been 'wiped over' but the benches and floor covered in food. I pointed this out and we were given another table which was marginally better. As we were there you could clearly see staff cleaning the tables after customers left but everything being wiped off was going on the seats and floor and just left there! That's not how you prepare for the next customers. It isn't even half a job. Filthy really! Food thankfully was good. I had a chickpea burger but the rice was barely warm. Overall cleanliness needs working on big time!

My first visit to a Nandos , wasn't to busy ( 3.30pm ) restaurant looked clean and tidy, toilets clean. I had a double chicken breast, rice and corn on the cob. The chicken breast must have come off a very small chicken , a bit disappointed with the small size of it. The portion of rice was again small. Corn on the cob was OK. I had a diet coke. The food tasted OK , although there wasn't much of it. The whole meal came to over £ 18. My first visit, probably my last.

Ordered twice in the last few weeks...both orders were either missing items or wrong..tried phoning, was only offered refund for missing items so meant someone was going hungry...won't be using Nandos again...terrible sevice

Super dirty! We have four people and 3 plates they gave to us are dirty! You can see the rest foods on it! All greasy plates！ even don’t want to touch them! Only the plate on the top looks clean. Super awful! I can’t trust their kitchen anymore!

Visited on an extremely busy Friday evening. Almost every table was occupied. However, we were still seated immediately . The restaurant appeared clean and tables were cleared promptly. Although the establishment was full, there was no waiting time to place our order at the till. Graham was calm, friendly and efficient. It was apparent that he was very knowledgeable and cared about the customers. We will not hesitate to return. Thank you Graham and thank you Nandos.

The waitress that brought our starters over was highly rude and just flung them down at us and didn’t even ask if that was all we needed, not only that she seemed unhappy to be there and like she didn’t want to serve us, she did not smile once she did not even make eye contact.

The worst restaurant I’ve ever ordered from, ordered for rice and chicken, only to get some miserable cold chicken delivered plus chips and not rice, called and they only apologize, said they can’t do delivery twice so I can’t get the rice again, to return the rice money,they still insisted that it will take 3 business day, Nando just messed up with my night. Imagine waiting for that long to get this rubbish service. I’m so hungry right now and angry with Nando Hartlepool. Infact I hate them right now.

One of the workers was filling the half empty sauce bottles up and screwing the lid back on. Every sauce bottle should have a clearly labelled expiry date on it and these did not, extremely extremely poor hygiene and practice. Will not be back. Food is the standard you get but I did feel it was a little more expensive than other Nando’s I have ate at.

The family and I always enjoy a Nando’s, however I have marked down on this occasion as I watched my food seat under a heat lamp for a good 5 minutes and then arrive at the table luke warm. The food is usually delicious. My husband usually orders butterfly chicken with peri-peri chips and I get the beanie burger and they are normally really lovely.

Quite when I visited at 21:15 on a Tuesday. Staff were helpful and food came quick.

Visited for lunch. Clean restaurant. The staff were very good and welcoming too. The service was great, and I go to Nando's for the consistency of food quality, not disappointed. We chose a time that's slightly quieter as well. Keep up the good work team working on 18 July 2023 between 4 and 5:15!!!

Great experience, ordered from the table, and someone was over straight away with my drinks. All 3 waiting staff came over at various times to check I had everything I needed. Really felt looked after, I will be back with the whole family.

Went to Nando's for my lunch in Hartlepool for the first time and unfortunately wont be going back. Staff were helpful and polite but the food is a rip off and shockingly way way overpriced, and in my opinion criminal. Ordered what I though was 2 x butterfly chicken breast fillets with a small pot of coleslaw at a cost of £12.70 When the food arrived it was actually only 1 piece of chicken and not butterflied. As a trained chef I know what "butterflied chicken" is and this clearly wasn't 2 x butterflied chicken breasts. ( I've added what butterfly chicken looks like on Nando's Website to the pics below and what I thought I was getting 2 of) When I asked to speak to the manager she informed me that it was 2 pieces of chicken together then butterflied. (Why would you put 2 pieces of chicken together?) This didn't seem teh case when I cut into the chicken . Also it appeared the chicken had been semi cooked/frozen in advance and just warmed up. It was dry and bland. Like most eat out places today Nando's, has died the death and this is reflected in their shockingly overpriced and poor standard of food.

This was my first ever visit to Nando’s, I was quite impressed. I took my 13yo son for a birthday treat and he loved it. It was a Tuesday lunch time so it was very quiet, the staff were polite and friendly and explained how to order. The restaurant was clean and tidy with a nice relaxing atmosphere. We got the XX hot wings as a sharing starter, they were lovely, spicy and tasty. We liked that we could wash our hands in the sink near by. We got burgers for our mains and they were nice aswel. It was expensive for what we got, there was only 2 of us and the bill came to £46 but I’d come again as a treat, just wouldn’t be able to afford to come regularly

Absolutely awful from the service to the food. Went for a takeaway, staff were clueless, chaotic, no idea how to work the tills , zero customer service and just to confirm they got my order wrong. Re food , cardboard fries & I’m still trying to figure out how they join 2 breasts together!! Never ever to be repeated.

Neva been before and won't go again 30£ for 4 bits of chicken, we walked out, with our money back.

Stopped in for a meal with my son on a busy Friday night, got seated quickly, but the table could have done with a proper clean instead of a quick wipe down. With it being busy we waited a while for our food but the food itself was really good. Bit of a shortage of sauces which was due to it being busy . Will try again on a midweek night when it's not so busy

On an overnight stay in Hartlepool, thought we couldn't go wrong with Nando's but it was Hit & Miss unfortunately. When we came in, quite a few tables were vacant but one member of staff came over and said "please sit down whilst we see if we can fit you in". About 1 min later another staff member came over and asked how many in our group which I told her and then we were shown to a table (the original member of staff was nowhere to be seen Food was good, beers were cold but it closed early..

Absolutely amazing meal, i was so hungry and tired and the feast I had here last night was the best I’ve had anywhere for a long time , best chicken wings I have ever had . Eleanor who was the host was fantastic, and so patient with me , this young lady is destined for great things.. Thank you 😊

Meal was bang average, had the worst food poisoning of my life hours after. Spent the night vomiting, horrendous migraine, feeling nauseous. I know it was this because it was the only thing I had ate that day. Would not recommend, steer clear, do not pay scandalous prices for a night of hell and food poisoning.

Not very good... only coke no other flavors, food came cold , taken back to change chips sandwich, left the wings on the table, you think would take all back an replace, , came back still cold bun hard as a rock on sandwich chicken dry ans so chewy lad with glasses on sneezing and kept touching his hair non hand washing ,realy bad we complained to head office, we have a voucher will go to teesside Park, always great food there, not goof for Hpool

Been to lots of these franchises but unfortunately Hartlepool is the worst 😐, think McDonald's but only chicken!! Staff bored, beer extortionate, spicy nuts cold and poured straight from the tinfoil bag!! Couldn't possibly be less effort and £34 for two mains and two drinks!! Stick to McDonald's 😐

Who doesn't like a cheeky Nandos? Went with the wife and our 3 kids, I know they will all eat something. Good atmosphere and good service, easy to order from the app and I like getting the refills myself (I mean the kids!). Nice one, will come here again!

Dirty plates left stacked on tables ages after customer left. Food was awful, my wrap had been left on the pass for over 20 mins so arrived cold and rubbery. Staff not bothered . Both myself and son have been ill the meal. A complaint had gone into head office.

Management have no clue what they're doing, running around yelling at staff when there's like 2 tables in, just made the whole thing more stressful and not a pleasant place to eat, need to respect their staff more, if I worked there . I wouldn't.

Went to Nando’s hartlepool to a prebooked meal at 12.30 on 8 may. When we got there everything was ready including serviettes and cutlery. The staff were so polite and helpful all the time we were there. The food was excellent please pass on our thanks to all the staff working that da. C Firth

Myself and my partner came to dine in yesterday during a day off. I don't often leave bad reviews but we were so upset with the level of service we felt like we had to. We were greeted by a very moody server so sat is down on a wet but sticky table and one menu thrown on. No explanation or any interaction really. We ordered our food on the app after having to figure it out ourselves. The food came brought by the same server who threw our food at us with a face and no interaction. Didn't ask if we needed anything to stormed off and stared at us from the front of the kitchen while we ate. My chicken so overdone and slightly charred, and the chips were stale just compromising of the ends of the bag. We both have worked in hospitality and catering our whole lives, as resteraunt manager and a chef. It's very rare we get time to have a day together and this really dampened our day. The attitude of the server actually made me feel uncomfortable and made me feel like I couldn't speak to any of the staff. Not that they gave us the chance to. We will not be returning to this nandos branch which is a shame when we struggled to find places to cater to our gluten intolerance in this town. Not ones to leave bad reviews but it did really ruin a rare trip out for us.

Quick and rapid service, food quality was stunning, cleanliness of was great and the prices were good with generous portions too. The condiments etc were accessable and a good variety to add that extra touch to a very good quality meal and the staffs friendliness was spot on and made you feel welcome 5* overall couldn't fault!

Top class service food was amazing full team was 10/10 marko and Alex deserve pay rises couldn’t fault them at all will never eat at another nandos but this one all due to the customer service by staff

I visited with family as a group of 8. No physical menus to look at on site, we had to scan qr code on the table to look online at menu and order. I'd recommend checking out the menu before visiting to save time if in a group like us. Little interaction with staff but all polite and friendly when bringing out the orders and clearing our table. The food was great. Restaurant had a nice and lively atmosphere very clean and tidy. I'd definitely visit again.

First time I've been to Nandos the positives were the staff were polite and the place was regularly cleaned. Sadly the starter choice is uninspiring, for main I had boneless chicken in mango and lime peri-peri which was tasty but a small portion, with chips which I can honestly say we're the worst I've eaten in years, I'm guessing they were overcooked on too low a heat as they were dry but uncrisp, a bit like cardboard I imagine. I'd probably only go back if it was bank holiday and most other places were shut.

Delivery service awful, delivery driver could not find our address despite clear instructions, no attempt to ring us or re-deliver , upon calling said ‘there’s nothing they can do’ and to expect a refund in 10 days!! A ridiculous amount of time . Poor service

The food was absolutely amazing. Service was a little slow but the atmosphere was good. I was with a few friends and one of them didn't get what she wanted but she didn't say anything as she doesn't want to cause a fuss. The server was on the ball and always had a smile on her face. Recent trip to nandos today has fave me the best feeling of customer service I have had from a restaurant In some time, there was a slight error on my order, within 2-3 minutes. Fresh order was on my table. Thank you to both the manager Marko and chef Frank for just being great staff

Was a little frustrated with the menu system, you scan a bar code to view the menu on your phone. After the 3rd attempt to order our food (possibly a fault with my phone?) we gave up and were told that we could order at the counter. I understand with COVID you don't want different people touching the same menus but maybe a waitress could take our order??? Once ordered the food didn't take long to arrive and we all enjoyed our meals.

Mediocre cooking. Chicken over-cooked which you would not expect from a chicken restaurant and the chips were not very hot. IPA was very nice so there booze buyer is on the ball.

Whilst I always have loved Nandos this day was appaling, I ordered a takeaway, and could not collect so ordered for delivery. Delivery came on time, thats where from then on it went down hill. IT WAS THE WRONG ORDER !!! with someone elses name on the ticket. Called Nandos and they could not send me out another order, all they could do was refund my money in 5-10 working days !!!!!! Deliveroo made a paltry apology. thats not the point I wanted my order, and to say the order I got was not really good anyway, chicken was greasy, chips cold, halumi cold some sort of bread cold, garlic bread cold. I will never every use Deliveroo again or order takeaway if any restaurant is using Deliveroo

Pretty standard Nandos, now with QR Code ordering from the table. Really easy to do. No option in the app menu to ask for wings to be well done, so I flagged down a staff member and gave her my order number instead. Four out of five wings served well done. On a wet and windy evening in a retail park, relatively busy with a lot of Just Eat type couriers waiting around which added noise and fuss and got a bit shouty at one point. Manager calmed it down professionally.

This is a relatively new restaurant and is on a little shopping centre. Service wasn't great, I was met by a slovenly teenage boy who asked if we'd eaten there before, and when I said yes he walked away. However the ordering was different to when I'd been the previous time in that there were no menus. The menu has changed a bit, I really miss the grain and greens and the replacement just doesn't cut it. Our food was on the pass fir over 10 mins before service, when I questioned this the slovenly boy just shrugged. The food was tasty but tepid.

Nice pleasant place, typical nandos. Staff cheerful. Stuff on menu that wasn't in place ordered mango ice cream instead chocolate turned up and no other choice. Apart from that food was hot.
