Friendly place to meet up and chat

The service is poor, staff spend more time in the back room chatting or looking at their phones than they do in the bar looking after customers. They also allow people they know to vape at the bar!

Great place to come for an cheap beer and watch people wait for the job centre to open.

Some improvements but needs to up its game with the King John across the square with better beers at half the price? Something about the clientele in here tells me having a beer/alcohol is not their first choice.

We didn't go to the sports bar on the top floor but went for a curry underneath the sports bar and that was great service lovely food.

Better class of insult than anywhere else in town, the staff take pride in their relentless p..s taking of the regulars.

Could do with doing up its more like a tip
