Nandos Cutty Sark in Greenwich

Incredible experience last Sunday 25th in this Nando’s restaurant, mostly because of the lovely service provided by the team in special mention to Sathish and Gabriel. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was chill and everyone had a good dinner time enjoying the food and the landscape. Definitely we must return.

It was a busy Saturday lunch time. Luckily we managed to get a table for two. The staff at the entrance for the seating was excellent. Overall the customer service was good despite it was a busy touristy place. Food was great too and was served on time. I would definitively go there again.

Popped in for a late lunch after a visit to the Royal Observatory and Maritime Museum. Super-easy to order via QR code, food came out fast. Fair warning (but in a good way for those who love spicy like we do)...extra hot peri-peri sauce on your chicken along with the additional sauces you can grab and take to your table can make for an interesting remainder of the afternoon! Everything was freshly prepared.

We don't eat in Nandos that often but today's service, staff initiative and customer service surprised me - it was exceptional. The staff working on the terrace were helpful with shade as much as they could in 30C. Very cheerful, accommodating and hard working. Connor helped with our questions too. Lovely location and view. Food was quick despite the very busy Saturday afternoon. Unexpectedly good experience. Had to rush off for the boat so did not get a chance to say thank you!

I was served by the Lovely Amal. The first time I was served by this waitress and I was impressed minimum, with her warm tones, friendly Kind natured choice of nouns. She is a credit to any restaurant, & I was lucky to have her serve me today in the Cutty-Sark Nandos. Her customer service skills was impeccable & she was super efficient in offering to help with my choice of meal once I explained how I liked it. She was empathic by nature. 10/10 service Thankyou Amal. The chef Nordo always cooks my food just how I like it Well-Done Chicken extremely heavy with the base sauce, so much so, that the meal looks like soup & although the chicken is well-done I don't like my chips well done, those I like white & he always listens to my requests via the waitress. I was so blown away I had to tell the manager today, the man with the blue shirt and amazing teeth. He was pleased when I said if people can Complain they should go the opposite and Commendate. NOT that I complain, but you get my point. I think Cutty Sark Nandos is going to be one one of my regular restaurants from now on. Keep up the great customer service, the delivery of Tadty food & a lovely atmospheric restaurant!!!! Thankyou Amal & Nordo!!!

Brilliant location and meal: VERY helpful and friendly staff. Overlooking the Cutty Sark, the rooftop area is just amazing on a dry summer evening. Food and service is excellent!

Nando’s is a chain so the menu is predictable but this location is particularly clean and well lit. Not fancy but the chicken is well cooked and there are enough flavor /spice options to please everyone.

Something changed tremendously in this Nandos. Not enough stuff. No dishes available on the self service station and when we asked for them they kept of redirecting from one person to another. Our order was wrong. We used to love this place and come very often. Its not anymore the same though. Such a shame.

This Nando’s is beside the Cutty Sark ship in Greenwich town centre with views over the Thames. It was not busy when we went in, service was good and we did not wait long. Food presented as expected. Double chicken wrap with hot sauce was tasty - don’t think I would manage extra hot! Having never had a dessert at Nando’s I tried the caramel cheesecake which was nice, the refillable soft drink is good value.

Went here with a group of 6. Waiting time was good, they told us waiting time was half a hour, but it was really 5 minutes. They gave us a table beside the window, with a river view, so we were taking lots of pictures of the sunset. Chicken was wonderful, I shared a whole chicken, full platter, lemon and herb. Sides were very good, had the chips and spice grains with butternut squash. Staffing was awkward, the cooks were working really hard, whilst the waiters were on a go slow, probably because they were temporary staff and did not really know what to do. I had to ask the cook for the salad as it had not arrived for 30 minutes, which the cook made it instantly for me, and then she was really nice to ensure my order was complete. Toilets were okay, the water to wash our hands were too hot though. Atmosphere was loud, but I like it.

Still haven't made it onto the rooftop but this Nando's does what it says on the tin. Staff are nice, food is as you'd expect. Great location.

We would like to thank heartily Steffy and all her team, Bedran and Alex for going extra mile to receive us on a Saturday evening in Nando's Greenwich Cutty Sark when the restaurant was about to close soon. Me and my wife made a long way on our only day off to enjoy the dinner at this lovely place with a cool river view. And we are so thankful for being supported and treated best! Such professional attitude is a high priority with us and we will definitely come again and recommend this place!

Our server, Kate, was an absolute star! The restaurant was booked up and there staff were all clearly very busy but despite this, Kate’s customer service was impeccable and made us feel welcomed and looked after. The food was great as always but the customer service stood out and really made the evening. A great experience. We will be back soon!

We love Nando's and this restaurant gets very busy but on the occasion we managed to get in, our food was not the best.We tried earlier in the week but it was heaving with at least a 30 minute wait to be seated so we gave it a miss. On our second visit, there wasn't a wait and we were seated straight away. The staff were friendly and the food came fairly quickly but my son's Wrap was quite wet with oil or some sort of dressing leaking out of it. My Butterfly chicken was quite dry and even the Mango & Lime marinade couldn't hide it.We enjoyed what we had but my son didn't finish his off and as a result we didn't stay for desserts.

Nice chicken and food however be careful at choosing what time to visit this Nando’s as it’s very popular with tourist in Greenwich and other visitors as it’s by the river and cutty sark. Sometimes the wait can be chaotic and up to 20-30 minutes if you go between 6pm to 8pm. I would recommend going earlier. Only other downside is the bathrooms are very dirty in this Nando’s.

I made a return visit here after visiting the attractions of Greenwich. The food and service were up to their usual standard and a window seat was available so you can eat next to the Thames and enjoy the views and comings and goings.

Pop in after a film for a quick bite to eat, was told they had run out of chicken breast and had to cook more so 25 minute wait, no big deal, while waiting to get your £11 piece of chicken which quite frankly i had seen bigger pigeon breasts, we got our cutlery which you have to get yourself along with your sauces and drink!!! What exactly do they do for the money??. its certainly not clean, the staff friendly and happy as they are where definitely not cleaning. The table was wet and sticky, the actual surroundings when you look at them were old tired and dirty the planting areas in the booth where dusty and had bits of god knows what in them all the floors where grimy and dirty looking and thats apart from its canteener look. Then knives and forks we had to change and then cherry pick because everyone had food bits on them, they look clean but when you actually rub your fingers on them there are bit of residue on them, the prep and dishwashers need servicing big time. Apart from that it was a tasty expense small breast of chicken

If you like chicken this is your place! Visited this restaurant on June, the food was really good and the service was fast. Wished I would have tried the chicken wings... maybe next time.

Had a meal in this restaurant recently. I have eaten here before and have always come away with a good impression and have given a favourable review in the past. The food was good and most of the staff were polite, professional and helpful. Having ordered the food I went to collect the cutlery, however there was a shortage of forks. When I asked a member of staff where the forks were I was informed that these were "in the machine" and he walked off. I assume he meant the dishwasher but could not be certain. The forks eventually turned up 10 mins later. This was, as it turned out, actually not a problem because it took 30 mins for the meal (there were 3 of us) to arrive. We mentioned to the staff member who brought the food that one of the plates had been under the keep hot lights for a while - we could see it from our table. She apologised for the delay (others who arrived after us received their food before we did) and offered to replace the food which had been kept warm but on reflection my daughter said it would be ok; we wanted eat at the same time. Notwithstanding this most recent experience, we will eat there again.

Just realised I never submitted this review... A big thank you to manager Sam for making our family evening so much fun. Celebrating my Dad's birthday with my niece who has lots of food allergies. Much appreciated.

Voy a Nando en Greenwich, y bastante a menudo la comida siempre ha sido muy agradable, caliente, y vale la pena el precio que se paga (en mi opinión de todos modos). Lamentablemente ayer cuando fui que se había acabado de las mariposas de pollo, es mi plato favorito, pero creo que fue más por el hecho de que fueron las últimas personas de la noche para llegar, etc.

OK for a meal. They have a location convenient to the Cutty Sark and old hospital. The chicken is decent peri-peri toned down a bit for the English market.

We go to Nando’s often but haven’t been to the one in Greenwich before. It’s in a really nice location with lovely views over the river and on a summers day you can sit outside and eat which would be really nice. Service was good and so was the food, would return.

Great restaurant right next to the Cutty Sark and the pier for the City Cruise ferries terminal. We had a party of 7 who had a good lunch for under £100. The views across the Thames are amazing, even better from the roof terrace.

Despite being busy, this branch of Nando gave quick service, had the usual good quality of food and a very impressive view through the windows of the built up Isle of Dogs, river traffic and the Shard and the City in the distance. Oh, and depending where you sit, the Cutty Sark.

Greenwich, London, England is busy in Summer AND Winter... popular place! My Mom used to live in Greenwich and she hated it because it was ALWAYS busy. I'm so pleased Nandos has a prime location..... love the view, the service and of course the food!

Visited at a week-end which was not a good time as it was over-crowed and far too busy to deal with the orders, as part of our order went missing. Found the place grubby and floor strewn with dropped food.

I always enjoy a visit to Nando's, great chicken and a cold beer but this is a little different. It's location is amazing and the views from its roof garden must be the most impressive of any Nando's. The best one I've visited for sure.

It's a Nando's. It's the Wetherspoon's of the restaurant world. It's does what it says on the tin. The food was good, as ever, not gourmet dining but good for what it is. The place was heaving, as you'd suspect on a hot Sunday afternoon. Most of the staff were doing a fantastic job. In fact the only one who wasn't, was the lady who served us at the till. Don't know if she was just having a "bad day" but from what I saw, she has no business being in a customer facing role.

A perfect way to end the trip to Greenwich is to walk down to cutty sark , enjoy the view there and eat at Nandos . Lovely place , open air seating is lovely and yes service with a smile :)

Nando's is close to the water ferry so we called in for a bite before going to central London. Never been to Nando's before, and will never go again.We both had grilled chicken burger, salad and chips and sat outside on a terrace they share with another chain, the Nando section is the less attractive one. Food did come quickly, chicken was bit hard and overlooked. But the bun was dreadful, chips limp, salad of a couple of tomatoes and lettuce. It was a poor effort compounded by dirty cutlery, virtually no vinegar, salt cellar empty.Worse still, following the meal one of us has been unwell.So Nano, we gave you a chance and you gave us a poor meal and experience, not one we will do again.

The location is great, however, could be better use. On a clear day in spring, the large sit out overlooking the river was closed. What a shame. (Locations like these should be made available to the public and not locked down by a chain restaurant).One of our orders was a bean salad which was quite stale. We were told they can't replace it since we had already eaten a couple of spoons of the tiny dish! The person in charge said that it was how it always smelt (although a fresh box he brought us to show did not smell stale) and that he would never order it himself because of the smell. It was surprising the extent they would go to piss off customers to save two quid.The burger was also very dry.If you are going there to have chicken and chips you may be OK, but I would never go there again because of the customer service.

This was the first time me and my girlfriend have ever been to a Nando's and was hoping for more with all the hype about them. This is one step up from a McDonald's, it was chaos in the restaurant with very basic meals and options, the food was nice without being anymore than that. I will eat in a Nando's again but certainly won't go out of my way to find one. On an individual note about this particular restaurant, the scenery is great, you have the curry sark one side and a view of the river the other, sitting no in the sun on the upstairs balcony is nice.

Well, first the location and view. A friend said "we must go here, the Nandos in Lewisham is having a refurb. I just wanted chicken but when we turned the corner I was utterly gobsmacked,. It was evening, the Cutty Sark was illuminated and there was the most amazing view over the Thames to Canary Wharf. If this would not have been a Nandos it would have been stupidly expensive.But it was my favourite chicken shack as readers of my review know. It was good. The staff were nice, the waitress was friendly and I changed where I wanted to sit 3 times and they were fine with this (always a sign of a good place).If you go, go to impress someone, especially a tourist who has come to our fine capital. You will npt be disappointed.

Vi kom oss dit med rutebåten. Hyggelig familierestaurant med billig og god mat. Maten på bildet et en sharing platter beregnet på to pers. Så mye mat for penga. Fint toaletter i 2. etg, men de hadde heis.God service. Rent og pent. Man betaler oppe ved kassen, og oppgir bordnr. Maten blir servert ved bordet. Fikk maten raskt. Hyggelig og hjelpsom personale. Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere too, went with my family and really enjoyed all the fabulous fooodddddd!!!!!!

I understand this ship cost a lot to renovate and they need to recoup there money. If you were massively into such a subject you would get your monies worth. How ever if you just want a quick look out of curiosity then that option just isn't there. They should offer a much cheaper viewing for people that want a quick 20 min stop for £5. They would get much more visitors that way and probably earn more.

Me and my friend often eat in here but we first came in here on a busy night on Thursday at about 6.30pm and I just want to say the staff were amazing. The girl who served us when we first arrived, I think her name was Sylvie, dealt really well with her full restaurant and the amount of people coming in the door, she was friendly to everyone and really efficient. The food was good as always. When we sat down a lady opposite us complained twice about her food (I can't help thinking when a full restaurant happily eats their food and one person finds two things to complain about, they are the problem) but the staff were all so friendly and helpful to that table and I thought they dealt really well with a difficult customer. So basically thank you for always being great!

As always, Nando's delivers fresh food and speed for reasonable prices. Staff friendly, restaurant clean and food good.

A great place to take the family as long as they all like chicken! Good value for money and quick service. Food is ordered at the bar but delivered to the table. Not long to wait from order to food being placed on the table.

If you don't know of Nandos by now and you're using a smart phone , I'd either say happy 70th or nice one surviving the outback for the last 10 years. We all know that Nandos is the go to place when you can't decide what to eat as the food is undeniably good and its pretty simple. The great thing about this one is the surrounding. It is based in the thriving heart of Greenwich, just 25 minuets away from central London, with a great view over the Thames into the City, especially at night. But if you're looking to stay local , you're in luck as you have the Tea clipper 'Cutty Sark' right next to you on the other side, followed by the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich Market, the Maritime museum, the Queens House (no, not Buckingham palace) and the Royal Observatory.

I am never disappointed when I visit Nando's. The food is always so fresh and delicious and the menu has something for almost everyone. Everyone always leaves the restaurant satisfied. The restaurant at Greenwich Promenade seems always busy but the service staff is helpful and friendly. The activity sheets can keep the kids busy but the food was enough to keep my toddler son engaged.

Rachel, my loving wife,took me for a cruise on the river. We ended up in Greenwich and had a "lite lunch" at Nando's. I've never been disappointed with Nando's. in fact I remember Friday nights in Johannesburg, Blackheath, where Nando's became a favourite world wide brand.

Although my food was delayed and arrived after the others of my party had finished, the food was by far the best nandos I'd ever had! I'm nandos obsessed and go between 2-3 times a week so have a pretty good gage of the good and bad ones! Lovely views of the thames and good service.

My family and I have been going to Nandos (1st Lewisham and then to Greenwich when that opened - for no other reason than the beautiful view) this has been EVERY Wednesday night since my son was 2 &1/2 years old, he's now 15... work that out! The service at the Cutty Sark Nando's is exceptional, the food fantastic even in the busy Summer months. As for rude staff, i feel as a loyal customer of thiers I need to defend the branch and it's staff of some of the negative feedback on here perhaps it's the manner in which some customers demand immediate attention and service in a way that isn't socially acceptable. I have witnessed service staff being treat appallingly (as if the customer has the absolute right to be rude to the server)in the past and not just at Nandos,. Keep up the good work Nando's! Its part of the Greenwich maritime and Observatory area. Make it part of your trip, its worth it if you enjoy sailing. Incredibly well preserved, its so good to have this as part of British history. Looks perfect on the waterfront and very appropriate in the vicinity of the Maritime museum.

Me and my friend dined here as its local to our area. Waited in the queue to order, another couple were served before me - I told them that I was before them politely , they said they were ordering a take away. there was nothing indicated they have a separate queue for take away, the lady at the till gave me dirty looks for no reason. When I was served by another lady, she did the same thing. Very rude and didn't make eye contact whatsoever. Asked for our starters to arrive together as we ordered separately, the rude lady confirmed this was fine however my friend received her starter first. The trainee (as I was told to excuse her behaviour) said that we ordered separately, I informed her that I told the lady at the till and she just walked off. Food was served by another 4th rude lady, she threw my plate down when served the main, both me and my friend were shocked. Another manager came later on, we ordered dessert which was great. We were not expecting a discount as we were happy with the food - but we told her everything and she smiled saying shell have a word with the girls that were rude to us. Then the rude lady at the till heard and said "what did you say about me" - very unprofessional , we were not angry but had the right to say something. Im extremely disappointed with the manager as her telling us she would have a word was not good enough - I don't know what's happened here but the staff before were lovely. Why would you hire miserable people! never going here again, rude staff , managers who have no training in customer services. wouldn't recommended this to anyone

Love the vibrant of Nandos in Cuttysark Greenwich the place always pack and lively. Greeted by smile when arrive at the door feeling welcome... having too wait 15 to 30 minutes during weekend for lunch or dinner is kind of normal. Food is great should ask chicken for well done ..taste nicer and try new spice mango and lime is tasty... Love the chicken liver too opt for medium spice it comes with bit gravy perfect for the bread. I visit this restaurant at least once a month and the food is always kept to standard so definitely one of my favourite in the area

Roof terrace is great same great nandos menu. Stunning location well worth a visit and great to get dinner on a budget.
