Nando's Bath - Vaults in Bath and North East Somerset

A nicer, posher than usual Nandos interestingly built into the railway underpass. Can be less busy as it's a bit easy to miss.

Very scandalous, I am a very regular customer, but tonight, as soon as I entered the restaurant, a woman, who I think was the restaurant manager, had a very nervous face. There were many free tables, but as soon as I asked for a table for two, she answered and said you have to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Very scandalous

A very empty nando. The service was quick and welcoming. The food was very yummy and the desserts were delicious

Definitely the better Nandos out of the two in Bath. Will only eat at this Nandos in Bath, as the other one in Kingsmead always seems to overcook the chicken. Good food here, friendly service - only let down slightly by the venue itself in the vaults as sometimes is leaking and therefore can smell damp slightly. Not enough to put me off still going and getting food.

Delicious (whole) chicken as always the 5 wings plus 2 sides is a completely rip off tbh but the chicken was delicious.

Went as a group for my friends birthday, and was a very quiet afternoon. Service was very slow, our waitress was not very enthusiastic at all. We ordered loaded fries which we were highly looking forward to, and had to chase up on them being delivered. However the fries were cold as they had obviously been waiting on the side for so long. All the other food was also cold, lukewarm at best. The manager had come to ask how our food was, even though it had been on the side for so long. Overall an expensive meal for not so good quality.

I have tried for my first Nando’s food on Monday, for sure very good option. I love it . And I have Sagres beer which was a nice remember for me. Highly recommended

Just want to suggest cleaning the spider webs hanging around the lights above the tables.

We are a regular customers of Nandos and we have been to many Nandos across the UK, but this Nandos in Bath near the train station is the worst one. The food arrived so late and cold and the wrap was not even wrapped properly. In fact the restaurant was not even busy at that time. Worst service.

This place was very busy, it's near Christmas and the market was buzzing, very nice staff kept us informed of how long it might take to get a seat. The food was great and the beer was good, the only downside was we were sat next to a young couple that had a young child that was teething, not the restaurants fault, but it did take away from the great evening.

Overpriced for the amount of food you get and not very hot.

Food was nice but why on earth are you supplying plant based mayonnaise?? It's a chicken joint, No vegans are going in there! And if they are going In there are they truly vegan?

Got there just before closing time (hate to be that guy). Staff were more than willing to accommodate. Had the liver and it was some of the best I've ever had. Fantastic service and food.

Would've been a nice meal. Was here Friday night. 3 fire alarms . Our order was thrn forgotten about. 20 mins we waited and had to ask then they admitted was lost after fire alarm. We hadn't got our drinks in that 20 mins either. Food came seperately despite ordering 10 seconds apart. Mine came 30 mins (my mates 22 mins) after ordering but was satisfactory. I ordered second drink at pos to avoid waiting. They had none left. Said will bring it. They forgot. Has to ask again for it. What should've been a 30 mine dine in took an hour. Probably won't come again

Me and my family often pop over to bath for a Nando’s meal , but this time was different, we got to the restaurant at 11.25 under the impression from previous visits it opened at 11.30am We waited outside till opening time 11:30am At 11:35 my wife with my daughter approached the restaurant and went inside to be told it didn’t open until 12oclock and felt it was quite rude in the way she was told this. We decided not to wait over 20mins to be let inside as we had our young son with us so went on back home. I decided to look online at Nando’s opening times to see it was actually saying open and open from 11.30am until 10pm. I really felt like the staff just didn’t want to service us until they was ready to do so being 12oclock which is a shame as we did like coming for a cheeky Nando’s whilst in bath. From this experience we won’t be returning. Think staff need some training on honesty to customers.

Came here when on a day trip to Bath for some quick and familiar food. The restaurant was empty yet we were turned away and told that they were full; and not adding anyone to the wait list. We were advised to try the other Nando's 'about a ten minute walk away' besides not knowing the area, it would have been too far to walk for my partner who uses a walking aid. Very disappointed that we weren't given the option to even wait until a table became free.

I ordered the butterly burger with hot sauce and no mayo alongside garlic bread and spicy rice. I wouldn't recommend ordering online since I was given mayo on my first burger. It took less than 10 minutes to get another one, and they didn't take away the original one so i had extra chicken!

Waited 40 mins for food. All meals arrived at our table cold…

This branch was dreadful no garlic bread no malt vinegar ice machine broken. We were kept waiting for a table although there were several free some tables needed clearing. Awful place to eat and we use nandos a lot

Used to be very nice place but waiting 40 minutes and didn't get the food and wasn't even on the grill and the manger Didn't even apologize rude and very bad service and the food in the end been done in 5 minutes food wasn't good

beautiful old building, and the food was great, typical nandos but was still nice. The staff we dealt with were all lovely. Nice atmosphere aswell.

Table was dirty. Plates were dirty. Service was slow. Chickens were cold.

It's Nandos, it pretty much speaks for itself. Quirky location in the vaults which we thought we pretty cool.

Review would have been five stars but one waitress (Gemma) was so incredibly rude. She brought over two drink glasses when we’d ordered three. When we told her she gave us a look that clearly implied that we were lying. She then walked away. After complaining to Kate (who was fabulous and more than made up for the poor service of the other staff member) she brought us an extra glass and apologised for her colleague - who completely forgot about our glass!

Terrible service. After giving us a table, with the place half empty, we waited for 45 minutes without being served until we finally got up and left.

This was not the best Nando's I have visited. The staff were not very attentive, or all that helpful. There is not a lot of room between tables. The food was your typical Nando's offering, with the same quality and taste. Nothing to really recommend, so if you want a Nando's then I would suggest a different location.

Lovely Nandos. Did get attached by a seagull when sat outside. We were warned that that might happen! Moved inside and enjoyed the rest of our meal.

As far as Nandos goes, this is a good one

Lovely place I have to stop by each time am working in Wiltshire, was served by Gemma, got there a bit early, but it was worth the wait,Gemma was both very Professional and exceptionally polite, she came to my table 7 to check if everything was alright, it definitely was Perfect we had a chat about spices also the sweetcorn was excellent. Thank you for a great service.

Slow service and rude staff. Some of the food was good however the burger roll was stale.

Never again. I visited on Saturday 1st June with a party of 6 had never been before thought we would give it a go. My husband is coeliac which has a intolerance to gluten this was noted and we then had a visit from of which pressume was management she noted this and made a fuss ok not a problem until we waited 40 mins for food except my husband we waited and waited still no food my husband then got up to complain to which the reply was oh we are just plating it. Well by this time we had all finished and they still tried to charge us for it when paying. Their response was we have cooked it so you pay for it wrong attitude in my experience. We didn't pay for the meal that we did not receive and left .We where 6 nando virgins so we tried tested and sadly you failed will not go again ever. Food was greasy and cold.

Absolutely love chicken wings here. Came twice in 2 weeks. Service on the till was delayed though

Busy early Sunday evening. Friendly ,fast service. Enjoyed the boneless chicken platter.

Had the 1/2 chicken and found the chicken pretty dry and was the same with my partner as well.

The atmosphere and venue of this Nando’s is superb. It looks like an old renovated underground vault with high ceilings which gives out rustic and warm vibes. Food and service is good and priced within acceptable standards.

Extremely helpful staff and good food

Ran from Bristol Temple Meads to Bath and went straight into Nandos before our train home. I enjoyed the food very much delicious. I drank two cokes and a beer to quench my thirst. The outside bit doesn't get any run though so unless it's summer it'll be quite cold without a coat. Especially cold if you're just in running gear!

We mastered the qr code ordering. Defeated by Apple Pay. But survived to fight another day thanks to the waitress. Staff all super efficient and friendly. The chicken , sauces and sides were good. Grand- parent friendly. Music appropriate. Wife well behaved. Thanks.

Delicious food, good quantity, fair price, friendly service

My wife and I arrived into Bath late and stopped by for dinner. We were greeted by Monty who kindly shared with us the history of the building when we commented on the historic interior. My wife has a severe nut allergy and the staff were exceptional, ensuring all precautions were taken. The food was amazing and the decor was a change of scenery from the usual Nando's we have been. Highly recommend

Great food, friendly staff. Was a bit of a wait but being a saturday evening it's understandable, but we were able to be kill time walking about, but was worth wait. Great range of beers, cider and wine

I ate here during my visit to Bath. I got the 1/4 chicken with mac n cheese and corn on the cob. This is good value for the price. The chicken was tender and juicy and mac n cheese was good.

Went for a work dinner a week ago, our server Chris was very attentive with our order and repeatedly checked up on us. Service was great and the food was fire!

What a nice location for a restaurant! Just across from the train station, convenient for a traveller, with a view of the busy street outside. I like watching people and things move around while I’m eating, don’t ask me why? Wonderful staff too, loved the customer service and ambient music. Perfect portion of mixed olives, that’s my thing! The rest of the food was great, tbh it’s rare for me to be disappointed at Nando’s. Easily recommendable.😁

The team went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable, their helpful and friendly attitude made our lunch a very good experience. Food good and prepared quickly.

Waited 25-28minutes for my food and when it artived was cold.The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Huge well done to the griller for the chicken thighs. One of the girls was rude. The chicken wings arrived super cold and the garlic bread,together with the fries.

A really great location, right next to Bath rail and bus stations. The staff were so welcoming and friendly - they definitely get 5 stars. The only reason I removed a star is because the peri salted chips had way, way too much seasoning on. Other than that, everything was great. I will definitely return next time I'm in Bath and in need of chicken.

Bloody awesome peri peri chicken! Packed with flavor regardless of which spice you choose. They have the sauces on the side that you can add on too. Very handy for people who like strong flavor food! Staffs are friendly and pricing is reasonable. It’s located in the vaults which makes it special compared with other Nando’s branches..

Delicious food and friendly workers. We went there close to the closing time but they were still very welcoming and took care of us. The prices were very decent as well. Highly recommend eating there.

Nando's does great Chicken (and Fantastic chicken livers) However, my Portuguese roll was a bit stale and hard, the coke machine was only dispensing FLAT drinks, the frozen Yoghurt machine was broken, and the restaurant had run out of ketchup!! (there's a Sainsbury's local opposite, it doesn't take a genius to fix that problem) It's a while since I was there, but the chips have deteriorated - they seem to be serving oven chips that taste of cardboard. It's like Nando's, but a Nando's with no management, no soul, and no real pleasure.. Shan't be going back..

Absolute legendary chicken slingers. The one place in Bath I know will always get my very neurodiverse child's order right. Just don't whatever you do accidentally end up at the other branch...

Great atmosphere and service was awesome.

Its a nandos, but a really nice one, feels almost like a cave restuarant. Had to wait 20min for a table, on a cold night, but was well worth it. The chicken and chips were prepared and served as it should be. I know my nandos, comes from my country. This is better than most.

The food is ok, but they serve the food quite slow, and there’re burning smells in the restaurant.

Worst service I’ve ever had from a Nando’s, would give it 0 stars if I could. There was a 30 minute wait for a table, no problem at all. Left our name and number with the guy at the door and went off for a while. 30 came and went, then 40, 50, 1 hour…. Eventually my partner went to the door and asked what was going on as we could see it was practically empty inside. The man at the door said he’d “sent a notification a while ago”, obviously he’d forgotten, but chose to lie instead of owning up to his mistake. We sat down and ordered quickly (we always have the same, or a variation of the same). We had to wait 20 minutes for 2 glasses and a carton of juice because of a “ticket malfunction”, again, I presume a lie. I would wager someone had forgotten to change the till roll. The food was delicious as per usual, but the service was very very poor. The man with the iPad was milling around looking unhelpful, whilst his colleague was racing around the very few tables like a gerbil. Bad managing and bad lying. Not impressed and unsure if we’ll bother returning to this particular Nando’s.

Poor service, waiters were not interested in serving or doing the basics. Restaurant had no heating so cold through out. Staff just standing round talking, tables left in a mess. Food was to a good level but we sat there and watched how long it took for one of the waiters to bother to take it from the kitchen to our table while they stood around chatting. No leadership or desire to creating a nice atmosphere. Should of turned around soon as we an inkling. There's another nandos in bath, haven't been there but it wouldn't have to do much to be a better experience than this nandos.

Food was as good as it always is but I eventually had to go up and serve myself as the rest of my party had nearly finished their meal before I got mine. All the staff appeared to be serving other tables who had arrived after us.

Amazing, never been to a Nando's before but I am obsessed now. Incredible food, great atmosphere and service, and the chilli jam is absolutely to die for!! I want to buy some for myself and put it on everything I eat. Right next to Bath Spa train station for ease of access, close enough walk to everything worth seeing in Bath. Definitely a good place for lunch or dinner if you're around

Temperature inside restaurant was low, although weather quite mild. Butterfly chicken was very good, cooked to perfection but unfortunately the side salad wasn't fresh; they did replace it but second one wasn't much better.

Understaffed during our visit. Manager was also rude (most likely due to the pressure). All staff were like zombies except for one lovely person whose name I have forgotten.

Good service, staff friendly. A new guy started and could see the experienced staff making time to show him the ropes even though it was very busy!

I tried to eat dinner with my family and one of your members of staff told us to wait for 25 minutes even though there were multiple free tables. I asked him if i needed to wait for a table or for the order to come and he was very rude and he refused to answer and said to wait for another member of staff because as he said “I refuse to serve you” Very disappointed ☹️.

Worst experience i had in a uk restaurant. I have never seen more unprofessional staff than at this place. Everyone was chatting with each other and ignoring us and other customers all the time. There is a ginger kinda guy seemed like a supervisor. I was standing in front of him at the till for 5 mins and he was literally chatting with colleagues in front of my face. There is also a guy (waiter) wandering around like its his home very unprofessional body language and attitude. A blonde girl with her hair down literally touching the food on the pass. If there is a manager or area manager of Nandos at Bath needs to really deal with the service team cause thats unacceptable.

Initially sat down promptly despite being a party of 7, staff were friendly and polite. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food, we ordered on the Nando’s app via 3 separate orders. Myself and my partner ordered 20 minutes before our friends and they received their order 20 minutes before us. We were offered desserts on the house to which we initially accepted. However, by the time we received our food, it was 21:40 when the restaurant was due to close at 22:00. By this point, 3 people had left the sitting as it was too late. I explained to the staff member what had happened and they happily provided me with a refund for the inconvenience. I appreciated but but regardless, it was a stressful experience and I would hate for anyone to have to go through the same thing.

Slow service, cold and no cutlery.

La peor experiencia que tuvimos en un Nando’s. Llegamos sobre las 14:30pm con mucha hambre y nos dijeron que teniamos que esperar 15 mins para comer. Nos tomaron los datos y me enviaron un sms con el tiempo de espera. Como era poco tiempo, decidimos esperar por fuera. Desde donde se podia ver algunas mesas vacias. Tras 25 minutos de espera vimos a mucha gente entrar y no les pedian que esperasen. La sorpresa nuestra fue que tras media hora de espera, entramos de nuevo y nos sentaron sin mirar ningun tipo de lista de espera. Tras sentarme la mesa estaba llena de sal incrustada por todas partes, asi que pedi que la limpiaran y un camarero paso un paño levemente y solo a la mitad de la mesa. Hice mi pedido de comida online y tras media hora mas y ver que otros clientes que llegaron despues ya estaban servidos decidi levantarme, acercarme a la barra y pedi hablar con la manager. Una camarera muy amable fue a preguntarle a la puerta de la cocina y le hizo volver para preguntar cual era la causa. Asi que le dije que queria poner una queja porque no me parecia normal este tipo de atendimiento. Somos clientes habituales de Nando’s. La manager salio y le explique que no estaba muy contento con el servicio y que llevaba una hora esperando para almorzar y que si lo se voy a otro sitio. Desafortunadamente la manager me atendio con mucha arrogancia y me dijo “si eres cliente de nandos deberias saber que las cosas son asi hace años”. Sigo en shock por la manera que fui tratado. Pedi nuevamente que limpiaran mi mesa que seguia sucia y el mismo camarero la limpio nuevamente y tuve que mostrarle que la silla tb estaba sucia porque no la vio. En fin, me gustaria pensar que esto solo fue una desafortunada visita porque siempre he tenido muy buena impresión de los otros restaurantes Nando’s de Londres. A este en particular, no pienso regresar.

Came yesterday for lunch whilst shopping in Bath. We added our name to the list to receive a text when a table was available, got it in 10 mins. My partner has a severe allergy, which we always make staff aware when ordering. Our waitress informed us there would be a wait on our food. Also, I believe it was the manager as well as the grill chef that apologized for the delay & that the grill was being cleaned down to prepare his meal. I didn’t get any of their names but I wanted to thank them all for taking it seriously, unlike some other chains. They were short staffed but they were all lovely, this didn’t affect the level of service at all. So Thankyou 👏
