Don't normally write reviews but food is amazing here every time I go and the staff are so lovely 5*.

I’ve been to many Nando’s but my favourite one is Basildon town. Never too busy, food is always the best and the staff are impeccable.

Came in for a bite to eat. There were two of us, got seated on table 24, person I was dining with made a mistake on our order, the team were willing to adjust to us on the fly and gave us what we missed (a starter of Halloumi) and told us not to worry about the cost, however in return I left a tip that should cover the cost and then some, thank you for your great service and amazing food

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, the service was attentive and welcoming. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the chicken, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour, leaving me wanting more 😋. Although I found the menu a bit confusing at first, the quality of the food and the overall experience more than made up for this minor inconvenience. My visit was certainly enjoyable, and the food met all my expectations. I’m looking forward to returning and sampling more of the delightful dishes this establishment has to offer.

This is the best Nando’s in the area. We drive from Southend as the food is always spot on and the staff are always nothing but lovely! Couldn’t ask for much more! Thanks to your team! :)

Food was good. Chicken had crispy skin. Even gave us a takeaway box to take home the leftovers. Definitely will return when I'm in Basildon.

Went here for some lunch with my mum and our service from Tyler was phenomenal. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and made our dining experience more enjoyable. Thoroughly had a pleasant time!

My new favourite Essex Nandos. Less busy than Lakeside/Festival Park on a Friday night. Attentive service from friendly staff. Good food as always!

We decided to go to this Nandos after watching a film at Festival Leisure Park as the Nandos there had a 30 min wait. This was a Sunday eve. It only took us less than 10 mins to drive to Nandos at East Sq. We were glad we did. On arrival we were greeted warmly by Ralf who gave us all the information we needed and escorted us to our table having first requested where we would like to sit. We were then greeted warmly by Summer who gave us some time to order and we decided to use the QR code to order our meal. Summer was very attentive throughout our visit and frequently checked all was ok having delivered the food quickly and with a smile. It was quite quiet when we first arrived but did start to fill as we were leaving. Our experience here on our first visit was excellent. The food was very good, hot and arrived quickly but the experience was made better by both Ralf and Summer who gave first class service to us that evening.We will be returning regularly. Hopefully once the Cinema opens in Basildon, the area will have more life.

Food was perfect. Waiting staff very polite and helpful however when you order and your starters arrived alongside your main meal. It's disappointing as something has to go cold or uneaten. Otherwise very nice. Could have had 5 stars across the board if not for that.

Enjoyed vegan burger in pitta bread and Gingerella to drink. Also had spicy rice and fries. Delicious. Colourful and clean restaurant and toilets.

Very slow service, desert served cold , tho the food was nice and hot so didn't mind waiting for that as obviously cooked.fresh

Food in here is very nice. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is chilled. Visited after the pantomime near by just before Christmas.

Come here frequently with my Dad we both love Nandos and this has got to be one of the best nandos locations I highly recommend coming here to eat

Good food in a friendly environment

Just went to the new Nando’s at Basildon East Square to pick up a delivery. The burger was missing from my takeaway when I got home with it, the chips are ice cold, the wings we got are cold and barely cooked. The chips weren’t cooked through. I give a 2 star for service because the girl I called and complained to has refunded my order but only an extra star as she blamed me for the food “not travelling well”. The food has travelled 5 minutes up the road, I normally go to a Nando’s further away to pick up food and it’s still piping hot when I get home. They said they could speak to customer services because they can only refund my order, not sort out my reward points I used on the burger (that isn’t here). Absolute shambles - not surprised the restaurant was completely empty, not one person in there.

The food is always good, but if you want friendly service, go next door.

Lovely young man welcomed us, made sure we knew where everything was and as it was early evening and quite quiet gave us pick of seats. He delivered our meal, came to check everything was ok and as we left thanked us for visiting and wished us a good evening. Overal a pleasant experience

This is one of the 'Best' Nando's outlet. Go there for your healthy meals and for their bottomless coca cola stand. I love it and I know you will love it too.

Received a complete wrong order from delivering on deliveroo plus missing items! Just fancied a fino pita with halloumi but the employees clearly had other plans :/ plus chicken was stinky…will not be ordering from here agsin I’m left hungry, been had off 13 quid but entirely 30 quid out of pocket due to lazy staff

Was served by Summer/ great customer service and friendly! I haven’t tried the food yet as I’m waiting to take it away but wanted to show gratitude towards Summer’s great hospitality!

First time having nandos in basildon usually go to Upminster or somwhere else but this was brand new so we went for it...so bit bullet and spent close to £60. Wot can i say wasnt that busy 7pm, got seated and served with ease, food came to table quick, it was tasty and fresh,very pollite.... But hopefully this wont change when cinema opens to everyone hmm

Very expensive for fast food that you order yourself

As per usual, the quality of food is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this Nando's! Fantastic atmosphere, lovely interior design.

First time visiting this Nando’s. The service was brilliant from the blonde lady who we recognised from the Eastgate restaurant that has now closed. She couldn’t have been more helpful, and explained everything we needed to know. The food was tasty, and will definitely return. This is more spacious compared to other Nando’s in the local area.

Chicken was soggy instead of crispy, and it felt like we were in a food court. Nandos usually section off areas really well but not in this restaurant. Staff were great!

Amazing customer service, I will keep coming back to this one as long as Rafe is working in store! Best customer service ever had from nandos in the last ten years

Nice chicken..New restaurant with lovely staff

I hadn't been to a Nando's for years (as I hadn't rated them) but so glad I tried them again. Lovely food, plenty to eat, and a fair price too. Would have given them a better rating for "atmosphere" but, as the cinema hasn't yet opened, there was hardly anyone else dining. That said, this meant that the service was exceptional!

Staff were all friendly and welcoming, service was fantastic, food was delicious. It was busy , but comfortably busy. A nice new addition to the town center. Will definitely recommend and return 👍🏻

Wouldn’t even give it a star was awful. Food chicken was dry and tasted like old boots. had a share platter was enough for 1 person expensive for what I actually got most awful Experience manager was useless 👍🏻
