Disgraceful customer service. The rudest staff ive ever encountered, could they act and look more bored?! If they don’t want to be there than let someone else do their jobs. Plain rude to myself and the people I was with. Food items missing and then refused to go get the missing items we had paid for, please make that make sense. Going there for dinner is like a lesson in how not to act in customer services. What a ruined evening and meal. Save yourself the trip and chose somewhere you will be treated with dignity and kindness. AVOID !!

I ordered our meal for collection, as we usually do. Everything is usually spot on, rarely is anything missing or wrong. But the quality of the double wraps is awful. It has got worse and worse over the last few years. I quite like cheese and pineapple in my wrap, but everytime the wrap is so soggy it sticks to the packaging which sometimes rips apart when opening. Tonight was the worst, half the chicken and half a pineapple ring were not even in the wrap. The effort and presentation was dreadful, like whoever made it really couldn't be bothered! It is a shame as the Nandos I used to love is not the Nandos today at St Michael's Retail Park in Basingstoke. Unfortunately I always expect it with each order now, not sure how much longer I can put up with the disappointment. Everything else was spot on and really nice. Just the wrap building needs serious improvement. If the wraps are too small, use bigger wraps to ensure they remain "wrapped".

Ordered delivery. Two items were missing. Called the restaurant to explain but they only offered a refund not a replacement. They told me I could call Deliveroo. I told them I hadn't ordered from Deliveroo but directly from them and it was their respobsibility to resolve the issue but they didn't want to know. Bad atitude from the manager, Aga. Poor customer service. Absolutely disgraceful. The only reason they are still in business is because people put up with this outrageous behaviour. I won't be spending my money there in future.

Manager came over at 2pm after we’ve ordered 10 minutes ago mentioning there was going to be an extra long wait in the kitchen. He was polite and very sincere about his apology about the problem in his kitchen. Mistakes happen but he dealt with it the right way. Think his name was Marcin!

Terrible service!!!!! Avoid this terrible place!!!! We always ask for a halloumi and mushroom wrap instead of a pitta. Some managers say yes it’s fine. Today, the manager ‘Marcin’ refused to sell to us as it’s not company policy to amend the menu. We ordered two of them in a pitta, and ordered an additional two wraps (£1 each) and simply moved the halloumi and mushrooms ourselves from a pitta to a wrap. What a total waste of time, money, and a stupid company policy. We certainly won’t be coming back here again. Head office - please speak to your managers and let them know that customer satisfaction is an important part of running a successful business!

Would have been 5 stars if not for the fact that parking outside the restaurant is restricted to half an hour which we didn’t know about.the rest of the retail park doesn’t have it so we didn’t think to check.needless to say the family has had to pay 3x the amount for parking than the meal. . I think Nando’s must know of the restriction but nobody mentioned it.needless to say we won’t be having any more meals there or use the Costa which is next door.

When my food arrived my chips where cold , I did ask them to replace them , they did it straight away but I was very surprised as I was the only person in the restaurant at the time , I have since read the reviews of the place and I can see why it’s so quiet , I think they rally need to up their all round game , as I didn’t find the staff very friendly at all .

Disappointing! Humous was of a hard consistency and certainly did not look appetising. The new sharing side of fries, were cold, as was the chicken. The broccoli was also cold, the waitress returned the broccoli and fries to the kitchen. The broccoli came back out, obviously heated in the microwave as parts of it was hot and other parts cold. The fries came out eventually but we had nearly finished our meal. The whole experience was disappointing, it just seems they want to have a high turnover of customers and not provide a quality experience. The manager did give a partial refund.

Overall a good meal out, we had a small issue where there was no chicken in one half of a wrap, but the manager (I assume) came over himself, I asked for some extra chicken, but he insisted that we should have another wrap. Top marks to him! No quibble service is why you return to places. Thanks

Placed an order online which we collected from Nando's to have a little treat for lunch. Ordered a full chicken (medium) with chips and garlic bread. Was not the greatest Nando's I have eaten, so would only describe it as average. The chicken was a little dry, particularly on the larger sections of meat. Parking is also an issue at this particular Nado's as there are restrictions in the nearest section of the car park, so be careful with parking if you are dining in!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Appalling service, cold food, mouthy manager and aggressive staff. We were served starters and mains at the same time, when we refused to accept mains till we had eaten starters our food was left on side and bought over freezing cold. Manager refused to deal with this, she shrugged and walked off, we asked for a refund, she refused and the waiter threatened my husband. We were left £45 out of pocket. I have never been anywhere that has delivered such poor service. Nandos - you should be appalled at the behaviours of your staff.

This was not a good experience at all. I walked in and despite there being at least 6 visible staff not one came to greet me. I haven’t been in a Nando’s for many years so wasn’t sure if I had to seat myself or wait to be seated. Eventually after a couple of minutes I just found a table and started to sit down. When I was finally able to make eye contact and flag a waitress down I asked her if I could sit at the table I had selected. She didn’t really seem to understand the question but eventually said i could sit there. Website ordering didn’t work very well but the drinks and food came quickly. Waitress didn’t indicate that we had to get our own cutlery so I sat there for a while watching the food get cold. No table check. Staff didn’t really seem to care much about anything really. Also, the food was cold and the table really dirty. I get that this is a Nando’s on a retail park but at least some trace of service would have been nice. McDonald’s would have been the better choice in all honesty.

As it was a hot evening I fancied some chicken, so bit the bullet and ordered a Nandos that we collected. Very poor, overcooked (chard) and dry. Did not enjoy it at all. My son had a burger and seemed to enjoy his more than I did.

This is by far the best nandos I've ever been to! The staff are friendly, food is fresh and its clean! I have been to many - Portsmouth, Camberley, aldershot, Guildford, festival place - and this is the only one I would return to (and we regularly do!).

Following a previous poor experience was gifted a gift card from Nando’s as compensation as an apology. We returned to St Michaels Nando’s - Basingstoke as this is our local Nando’s, rather then travelling to the town centre, unfortunately this was a mistake! The gift card provided, can only be used in the restaurant, not for ordering online for collection ( which was how we originally ordered ) so we went to the restaurant and ordered for takeaway. After waiting for just under five minuets to be served, we then approached a member of staff and requested for someone to take our order. We ordered at 21:12hrs on 19.06.22, we ordered a Chicken Wrap, Plain-ish, no chilli mayo, No Jam, with lettuce and charged 75p for a slice of cheese to be added to the wrap, with regular chips and garlic bread. We also ordered a Sunset burger, medium, regular chips and garlic bread with a side of hallumi fries and dip. At 21:21 hours we can see the majority of our meal sitting under the hot light with no member of staff acknowledging the food! In total counted five members of staff walk past, look at the food and walk away. All whist the manager is sat on his phone, in a booth seat eating a plate of chips. Around 5 minuets later a female chef approached us and advised us they are waiting on the sunset burger to be cooked, then our meal will be ready. At 21:30hrs, we are leaving the restaurant with our food. So from when we checked the time after acknowledging the food being sat under the hot light, till the time we got our order, the food was easily sat under the hot light for a minimum of 10 minuets whilst waiting for the sunset burger to be cooked! Upon getting home, the entirety of the order was cold, not even Luke warm and the sunset burger, piping hot! I open the chicken wrap to check the chicken temperature to find out that it was only chicken, in a wrap! No lettuce or cheese that was ordered and charged extra for! The hallumi fries were in a pool of what I can only assume as oil or grease, that we had to put them onto a plate and individually take the hallumi fries out of the box, let them drip for a few seconds to then transfer them onto a plate so they weren’t that wet! The garlic bread was hard, almost stale like where they had gone cold, so wasn’t enjoyable to eat! The whole order, minus the piping hot sunset burger was thrown in the bin as the quality and temperature of the food was awful! I would not recommend this restaurant as it is clear they are unaware of food timings and how to cook the food to ensure the order is ready at the same time and being the same / correct temperature! Along with the poor attention to detail or reading and order and the poor quality of food! Please note, the first complaint was because there was bones in the ‘ boneless ‘ chicken wrap and the food was once again, cold!

We ate here last weekend it was a little slow but the food was good unfortunately we got a parking fine. I do think that there should be visible warnings about the 30 minute maximum parking. It was cold wet and dark when we visited the guy knew where i was parked as we both went back to the door to wave my kids in.. not a word was said to me, If a customer to my eating establishment was parked somewhere they could get a ticket I certainly would point it out… expensive dinner

Ate here with family recently, virtual queuing worked well I felt, they were quite busy and the wait wasn’t too long. Nando’s is our go to place as they are consistent with allergy meals. And this new Nando’s is no exception. We took the children after school one day. Allergy folder was available, they took all allergy information at the till and informed the kitchen and duty manager. Grill was wiped down and food all labelled with allergy flags. Food was piping hot and delicious. Staff were really friendly and attentive. All areas of the restaurant were clean and tidy. We will definitely be back again soon x

Had lunch today - just me -- but was very impressed.Very warm welcome, order taken politely and was told that my 2 glasses of wine ( one white and one red) would be delivered to my table.Abi, the staff member brought the full unopened bottle of red to show me that it was different from the menu and asked if it was acceptable. Of course it was.The food was delivered very quickly and both the chicken and the chips were hot. A good start.The meal and service were first class and I must mention Abi once more for her attention and kind service.Keep it up, thank you.Well done Abi.

My bill was 60 pounds. So my wife presented an NHS card, it came up as 20% but the maximum discount they can offer is 4 pounds only. They said it is the same in all stores. Even if your bill is 200 it will still be 4 pounds. This is unfair especially to all the other restaurants who are properly observing the 20% off. Nando's Brighton hill you are insane.

Where to start? We arrived about 11.45 and were seated straight away. We had to move as they had a group of builders in and every other word out of their mouths was a swear word, obviously I understand they can't do anything about this. We wanted a booth that was quiet but were sat on the benches in front of the door. After queueing for five minutes to order I was told there was a twenty minute wait for food as there was a big take away food order, which I was ok with my only comment was, make sure my food is hot. Whilst we were waiting for our food one of the manager's was talking to the person seating right by our table. The conversation was about how people wanted stuff for free and his response was a holes. Not an appropriate response when around guests. Especially ones who are getting a free meal because the first visit was shocking. So after waiting 25 minutes for our food and watching chicken burgers sit there for over ten minutes, I went to the pass to ask someone how much longer I had to wait for my food. He was very dismissive of me. I then went to the female manager who was telling me they had a £600 take away order, I told her I understand that but it's not really acceptable. Whilst I was talking to her out food was bought to the table, suprise suprise it was the burgers that had been sat on the hot hold for 15 minutes, anyway my husband who is a chef felt the chicken as his meal was put in front of him, it was cold no suprise really. Anyway we told the server we wanted fresh meals with hot chicken, we received new meals the chips were lovely and hot, that is the only positive I can say on the meals as this time the chicken was like warm! My husband got a bonus of a piece of blue kitchen roll as well!! We were given a voucher for another meal but to be honest I do not think we will ever use Nandos again. I said I wouldn't go again after the previous time but we were offered complimentary meals so thought we would give them the opportunity to redeem themselves. Unfortunately you cannot refund disappointment, it's not about the money it's the experience.

30.07.19 table for 6. Standard 20mim table wait no problem. However, one poor young girl serving ok till and a massive queue. All credit to her, she remained calm but people were annoyed. We were charged for a bottle of wine accidentally which had to be removed. Lots of waiting time, clearly under staffed and a big lack of client facing experience. Upon seating were told that there were ‘no mushrooms or mayonnaise’ bizarre. Food arrived and two out of six were wrong - asked for them to be corrected and the Young waitress was very stroppy. We ate at different times. Food was right in the end. Didn’t get the usual ‘how is your meal’ enquire from anyone and the dirty plates were left. Great for take away but this is the 3rd experience of not so great in-house service. Not a patch on Nando’s in festival place and we will not be eating here again. Such a shame to let the usual Nando’s client experience down like this. Easily fixed though with the right management.

I love Nando’s so visited this one with my son for the first time. We arrived and seated straight away but a huge queue. It took 15 minutes to get to the single check out staff. All the time I couldn’t help noticing tables with no food, a lot of food on the hot plate, 1 grill person, no more than 2 servers. Unbelievable. Why did they not stop seating people? Clearly not enough staff. Our food arrive in around 40 minutes and thankfully was very good.

Came here for my sons 4th Birthday, seemed the staff not a clue, asked to swap a roll for a pitta, the girl had to ask 2 x people, then the manager who rudely said no. Arrived at 18:25ish, sat at table 18:50ish, ordered food 19:00ish. The food was only on the table at 20:10, an hour for a party of eight people - really? Another couple came and sat behind us after we had ordered and left before we had even had our food delivered. Plus when we arrived we told the greeter that we were eight people told us that was fine but were split into two groups. When a round table opened behind us we moved there and added a table (ourselves, the waiting staff said it was fine) we did this so we were together as we had planned. I did try phoning to see if they took reservations (at 12:31) but after 50, yes 50 rings I hung up. I found out when I went into the branch about half an hour later that reservations were not taken. If I could give a minus score I would. GREAT ADVERT.

Got a takeaway from here a few weeks ago, ordered 2 chicken wraps with two sides and drinks. All the way through, every piece of chicken had thick purple veins through, so I ended up pulling 95% of my chicken out, really shocked! Not the quality you expect from a chain. Wrote a complaint but it’s obviously be bypassed as no reply. It’s really put me off returning!

Today i visited nando's. I orderd the wrong dish. Abi was very helpful and replaced my meal and my sons. They where very helpful with a comprehensive list for allergies. The resurant was lovely and clean. Including the baby changing room which was extremely clean. All the staff where happy,friendly and very kind. We where made to feel really welcome. Its got a really happy atmosphere. I would highly recommend as i have visited alot of nandoes over the years and the basingstoke brighton hill one has excelled over all the others.

When we have arrived we have asked to be sat at the specific table (restaurant was not busy, plenty of tables available). Table was booth type of table but have been told by probably a manager we can't sit there because it's table for 4.

We thought we would give this Nando's a try so we could avoid the town centre. It was a 25 minute wait which we was fine after about 10 minutes we got seated. The gentlemen who was seating people was extremely attentive and helpful.

I usually like Nando’s, the food is good and the standard of service is pretty consistent in most branches, but not so in this one in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke. Visited there on Saturday evening, it wasn’t particularly busy and despite the fact there were plenty of staff (many were standing around doing absolutely nothing, while a few others rushed around) we had to wait absolutely ages for the order to arrive.

Myself and my husband went in for a late lunch at around 4pm on a Friday. It's wasn't too busy and we got a table straight away. The table was cramped in between another couple of two and family of 4 with kids shouting so we asked for another table and they told us no because they have to save other tables for other potential customers. We ordered our food and it came, nothing wrong apart from the fact that our garlic bread came out untoasted (they had spread the garlic butter on the bread and not toasted it) so we sent it back and it came back and still was toasted so we left that. Other than the garlic bread the food was lovely. I think the staff could be better trained or maybe have some kind of hospitality qualification before working here because they really are not adding anything to anyone's dining experience.

Went here for a birthday treat for my son and his friend. The food was typical Nando’s fare and was as good as you normally expect. The place is quite new but the staff seem to well trained and the food was prompt.

Popped in for lunch. Restaurant was nice and clean. I had chicken breast burger with extra hot sauce. Food was great. Arrived in good time. Help your self drinks are always a winner. Would reccomend.

Upon arrival we were informed it was a 45 minute wait for a table and was asked if we would like takeaway. After a 10 minute wait for the only till that was open even though it was heaving we were then told it was another 40 minute wait for a takeaway needless to say we along with most of the people waiting left without spending a penny. It would have been quicker for us to drive to the Nando’s in town than it was for us to get service here it’s almost like no one did any market research. To top it off there was little to no waiting space like there is in other Nando’s very disappointed with this new opening they seem to have crammed as many seats into the tiny venue as possible. The manager needs to work on sorting out the wait times or they will continue to lose business. Will try again another day but not anytime soon.

Knew i had to visit as soon as i heard that a new nandos was opening in basingstoke , so close to my home also! We were welcomed very warmly at the door and although we had to wait a bit for a table we empathised with the staff as it had only just opened and was super busy. The food was lovely , not a single fault i could name , and all the staff were extremely friendly and made conversation to make the overall experience that little bit better , thank you guys and i’m sure to be back soon :)

Took over 45 mins for food which for nandos is rubbish. Would have been quicker to go into town. Manager was kissing a staff member behind the tills. Then no one was on tills. We were sat very close to either side of us and all asked to squeeze up for more room. Appreciate it's second day but no real excuse for the above and crap experience.
