Nandos in Dudley

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID Worst meal ever, starters cold, mains cold, extremely poor customer service, waited approximately 10 minutes to be seated which was not a problem at all. Was seated downstairs where it was freezing cold and a big draft. The starters were ordered, sharing platter the halloumi was not even cooked, the wedges were ok, the pitta was stone cold. Sent the whole starter back and requested it to be brought back hot, it was brought back hot but as we had had to wait for the starters to be reheated, the mains then arrived before we had finished eating the starters. All mains cold, the half chicken was cold and completely black all round the edge, the mashed potato had a solid ring all round the edge which was completely un-edible it had clearly been microwaved for far too long then left to stand and go cold. The chicken butterfly and chips were cold. Sent all food back, absolutely appalling two courses all cold and all sent back. Spoke to the Manager Reece he said it was not policy for Nandos to refund????? Disgraceful, we had the starters reheated and did not even get chance to finish them before the mains came out already cold and also returned to be told no refunds. Reece the Manager at the time was no more than useless he said he could not refund the starters as they had been replaced?? But this is absolutely rubbish we did not get a chance to finish our starters and did not have a main due to the very very poor food. I have made contact with Nandos head office and their attitude also is extremely poor. I will never visit any Nandos again there are far better places to eat where the company actually care about their customers, Nandos clearly do not care!!!!!

Great nandos with excellent service. The manageress, I believe her name was Lara, couldn't do enough for us. She was great with our kids and very attentive. The mains and deserts were very tasty, especially the chilli and orange curd on my desert. My youngest was being particularly fussy and she managed the situation brilliantly suggesting a mac and cheese side with garlic bread and a few wings which he loved. We'll be back.

Non existent service. One waitress chewing gum while working. No meals with chicken breasts , no meals with chicken thighs available. That's almost nothing available on the menu. Food then arrived almost cold. Truly atrocious.

Was only a few staff serving and were very unenthusiastic about being there. However the girl that served me for our takeaway was very friendly and polite.

I haven't been for a few years and , as good as the food is, it's not as good as it used to be, especially for the price it costs now a days. The hostess didn't really seem bothered on entry. It's a walk in service so requested our table and waited. Three groups that came after us were sat before us. The blonde lady at the till, I think Katrina?, when we ordered was lovely at least, friendly, helpful and the only person with a smile and seemed to actually care. Then it went down hill. There was plenty of space in the area we were sat and the hostess decided to pull together a big table that sat pretty much on my lap with a screaming baby sat literally less than a foot away from me, which made our visit very unpleasant. There was so little room because of this it was a genuine struggle to get in and out of the table , to the drinks machine and bar and half the area totally blocked off because of them, yet this table could've been sat at the other end with plenty of space for everybody and without babies screaming down my ear. Guest comfortability isn't a thing here , they just seem to want you in and out and get the money on the tills. None of the waitresses seemed to want to be there with a slow pace and total lack of enthusiasm. Doesn't seem like a fun place to work... Staff should take a lesson of customer service skills from Katrina !

Can’t go wrong with nandos really. The staff were all super friendly and food came out super quick. We came at around 1pm so they were extremely busy but the staff were all super nice and made sure we had everything we needed! Food is always great ☺️

I come here heaps and I love it - great staff great food cant beat this Nandos I have been here when super busy and always made to feel welcome huge thank you to the staff here great job they do

We went there and set our reservation for 3 and the worker Tia said you can leave and come back in 30 minutes. We came back after 25 minutes and the other lady said our name had been called off and said we don’t tell you you can leave then called over Tia who said she called our name 30 minutes ago which would’ve be impossible which we said and the manager with ginger hair didn’t care or help whatsoever and just said your at the bottom of the list.

On entry the customer service was spot on, once sat down the cutlery bought to the table was filthy. As someone that works in the hospitality sector too, to see the levels of standard is so poor! The till staff are poorly trained, the time management of the whole establishment was a disgrace. Being a well known franchise and not being able to keep up with the flow of customer service is not acceptable. Either train your staff amicably or get new staff. This is atrocious!!!! Been queuing for 40mins to get served.

It Really was busy when we arrived so we had to wait for a little time for a table to become available. The chap on the door I thought was fantastic. He Was really friendly and trying his best to please everyone whilst serving them quickly and efficiently. Never lost his positive attitude despite a few grumpy people disrespecting him because they had to wait at a peak time. Food arrived quickly and was pleasant. Reasonably priced so all in all what you'd expect from nandos and chicken and chips. Special shout out to the chap on the door.

Great staff serve yourself via the app was simple to sort out. Had olive and humous starters followed by the sharing whole chicken in hot piri sauce with chips coleslaw and peas sides With refillable drinks Not cheap but the chicken was moist and tasty will return Give it a go The staff are all helpful and friendly

A friend and I wanted to grab lunch at Nandos Merry Hill a couple weeks ago. We were told by a member of staff that she doesnt have enough staff right now and to come back in 45 minutes. So we did, we waited for over 45 minutes and came back. There was a very small queue of people and once it was our turn a different member of staff told us that she cant let us into the restaurant since we had not given our names/were not on her list. What kind of exclusive club does Nandos think it is!? Its a bloody fast food restaurant last time I checked! We told her how her colleague had told us to come back in 45 minutes and had not mentioned anything to us about leaving our names or details. She was not interested, didnt want to make an exception for us even though we told her how we had been made to wait for over 45 minutes and promised a table by her colleague after the wait. She was RUDE! And I was tempted to complain about both of them to their manager, like they would have given a rats. We will not be back! Which is sad as my friend and I used to go here quite regularly before lock down. But I refuse to spend my money in a place that simply doesnt care about its customers.

No manners, No customer service, poor Management Not offered a table on arrival, after 10 minutes we just took one, not offered a menu until we went up and asked, food was cold on arrival Manager was hiding and left the young newly recruited staff to deal with the multiple customer complaints about service and cold food…. We really enjoyed our meal and had a lovely dining experience. Jack went above and beyond to help us after experiencing an issue, which he quickly resolved. Great food, customer service and help with allergies. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you

If a manager or owner reads this, please recognise Lesley's care, professionalism and absolute brilliance. She turned what could have been a disappointing visit round with some thought, brilliant customer care and all round caring. Lesley is a superstar!
