Honestly the best Indian restaurant we've been to, in terms of the food. The peshwari naan, specifically, was amazing. Great service too. Would recommend and, if we lived in the area, it would become a regular haunt.

Staying locally and found this curry restaurant on line so decided to give it a go. Unfortunately we missed the bit on the Web site stating it was a bring your own wine,so whilst waiting for our starter,I went out to get some drinks. Managed to get a table, mid week and was very busy. Friendly staff. Good food. Reasonably priced.

Have been to Namaste on numerous occasions and everything has been spot on every time. Food delicious and service excellent. Well recommend to anyone visiting Stourport.

6 of us turned up last night. Staff accommodated us seats. Staff were friendly and helpful with the menu. One of party didn’t have his glasses and staff had some to hand straight away. Food was very tasty and not all the same sauce as in other curry houses in the area. 100% recommend and will definitely be back.

My husband order take away today for himself and my son , we had food from them before and it was good but today Raitha was OFF !!! How can you even send that to the customer without checking ??? It makes you wonder … staff very friendly , very polite , quick delivery food this time disappointing. We definitely not going to order again !!

Was recommended. Visiting Stourport for 1 night. Friendly welcome. Food was absolutely amazing. Fresh and hot. Only thing I didn’t like was music. Too loud plus not in keeping with the restaurant. Plus from outside wouldn’t know it was an Indian restaurant. Only went from recommendation from our hotel.

I have been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed with the food or the service.

A party of 9 of us went along last night precooked. Spent a tad under £200. Took a while for food to arrive, when it did 3 of the mains had to be returned along with several bowls of rice due to being cold. The mains returned by a clearly unhappy staff member were hot but "skinned over" due to being microwaved. I will not be returning and don't recommend anyone goes. Left a couple of us feeling slightly unwell.

Had a delivery so can't comment on the atmosphere. BUT the food is absolutely gorgeous and I've had curries all over Europe as a European truck driver,but this is next level and we'll worth the price. Get what you paid for😉 will be ordering again.

It was our first time eating here and the food and service were very good. My only criticism was that the tables were too close, it was very busy and it was like you’re sat on on top of each other.

Terrible service. I waited for more than 1 hour for my food and decided to leave. Been charged 4 pounds for popodams because the "dips are not free" the cost of a popodam is 90 pence. I only asked one.

To be honest I never really give bad reviews but I feel I need too with these guys Ian disgusted by their attitude! Maybe it is the guy that answers the phone or the lady who he palms me off with but by god avoid this place the food is awful and if u disagree with them You find yourself in a situation where they are threatening you with violence! If you do not think I’m genuine try for yourself!! A disgraceful company

Fabulous Food, Great Atmosphere Definitely a must visit if you like Indian cuisine. The staff are friendly and very attentive. All the dishes ordered were presented well, looked great and tasted amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and be returning very soon.

A lovely little place right by the River Severn. Very clean, the staff treat you with courtesy and respect. Its not expensive either. It is the perfect place where you can enjoy something to eat and chat and relax. The menu ìs wide ranging and the food is cooked to perfection. You can choose the 3 course meal like i did and it only costs £13.95 per person, I really recommend it.

Had an excellent meal in the restaurant. The prawns were superb and the peshwari naan was pretty much the best naan I've ever had. Should also mention the friendly and outstanding service.

Food was okay, mains were good, though took a while to receive the mains, to be fair it was busy and the staff were doing their best. My main reason for the three star was it was a little cramped with the tables of other diners in too close proximity for me.

Very quaint in an old part of Stourport. Food was good and the waitress very friendly enjoyed the dry ice on the table a first for me.will definitely eat there again

We were out for a walk and just about to pass Namaste but ended up going in we are always bit worried because my wife has food allergies but the waitress was so helpful and asked the chef questions on what my wife could have . We ordered and food came out and it was delicious the presentation was brilliant the staff are very friendly and go out their way to help you We will definitely return soon.

Really friendly staff and amazing food

A busy Saturday evening & the restaurant was full. Service was quite slow, but waiters polite, friendly & efficient. A large menu, with a few dishes that I hadn't seen before. Food was very tasty. All four of us chose different things & shared, so able to sample a few of the ones that were new to us. There is no alcohol licence so we took our own drinks, but they do serve soft drinks This is made clear when you book a table! Limited parking in carpark, but on street spaces available nearby. Will definitely go back again.

Superb Indian cuisine. Read Google and Tripadvisor reviews that rated it highly but I'm always a bit wary still, however dispel all doubts as this is really really good food. Just be aware that they don't serve alcohol even though licensed, so if you want to bring your own, unless you want to walk 5 minutes or so to the off licence.

Was on a narrowboat, local pub wasn't doing food so came here best curry we have ever had, and we love a curry!!

Hidden little gem! Staff were welcoming and attentive, food was absolutely fantastic and great value for money! Bring your own alcohol was an added bonus. Will definitely be coming back here and telling family and friends to check out this place.

Had a take away this evening and after an hour and a half wait it arrived cold, a watery masala is a first and hopefully a last. Was very disappointed with the quality of food. Won't use them again.

Went last Wednesday for a meal with hubby and dad nice and warm friendly staff good service the only thing the meal I had wasn't as nice as usual it taste different and could do with curtains or blind up for a bit of private

Food was OK. Customer service left a lot to be desired left over 1 hour waiting for a round of drinks .and an hour for starters . And close to 2 hours for our main .. ..be prepared for a long wait .

Ordered takeaway this evening. Very dissapointed. Rice mushy, tandoori chicken inedible, stale papadoms, old salad. Two currys tasteless. Awful.

Disappointed with the last few curries from here dispite using them for years. To day was the last straw, turned up and they were closed dispite the website and google saying the were open.

The service was good , waitress worked hard. Dissatisfied with my starter,hard and burnt . Meat in my main was also dry thank goodness for the sauce. Was always my favourite Indian but may not return for a while .

Great food ,great staff, great prices. Ignore the look of the building,could do with some updating ,jnside there are approx 10 tables. We got lucky and arrived without booking they managed to squeeze us in. The atmosphere was like having a dinner party in someone's lounge . Food was second to none with some new dishes to me on the menu. Will be going back when in the Area, would suggest booking as only small restaurant. Well done all

Good cheap food, only negative about this is that the restaurant is listed as accepting Taste Card but didn't know nothing about the app/website.

Ordered 4 main meals and all of them where very poor quality i had Indian Naga just a very basic curry stock more like water..wife had Keema again very very poor ..i also ordered Chips as per the order these came as very skinny fries and just about a handful not worth the £46.Loads better places to go

One of the most beautiful experience I have ever endure in UK , a real experience of of Indian and Pakistani hospitality food preparation 10/10 taste 8/10 , staff friendliness 10/10 no discrimination whatsoever they tread everything same this place is now on wazzie must visit well done to the team and the chef I rarely give 10/10

Overall service was quick, food was as ordered. It was slightly lower spice level than expected. Most desserts were unavailable.

I have eaten at many curry houses over the last 30 years across the Midlands and our meal tonight (take away) was simply the best curry we have ever experienced. Fabulous chef, can't recommend more.

Delicious food, attentive waitress & inexpensive. Ate there mid week in late January - diners at 3 other tables in the cosy dining area. Good menu, loved the mixed starter. We will go back.

Overall it was a confusing meal with the service quality.. from the start, we walked through the door after looking around the area which we are new to for the night. We weren't greeted by anyone even though the bar man was looking straight at us. There was a small crowd of people getting their deliveries from collection so we made our way through them and had to ask for a table. I don't even remember being welcomed with a hello I felt awkward instantly. There was 1 family in here already so with the big open room we were seated right next to them as me and my Mrs just going for a meal between us, I feel we should have been seated by ourselvess but that was that . We ordered drinks I asked for peroni as it said on the menu and I was given a beer called cobra which Iv never tasted and didn't appreciate when I did. My Mrs mentioned this to the waiter/bar man he just let us know without an apology that they didn't have any peroni and proceeded to walk away which left me a bit stunned by. The weird thing was that Ievery Time the family table had service it was filled with smiles and happiness which upset me quite a bit . The weird part was the food was fine we had a good amount of sauces and onions for the dips and we're shown out by the bar man opening the door for us which I found bizarre after the prior service we received. Service and prices are good, the food is very average, food and plates were hot, poppadoms were nice n fresh and light not greasy at all, but the quality of the main meal especially the chicken, I could tell it wasn't freshly cooked, possibly cooked before hand then frozen and reheated/cooked, don't get me wrong it wasn't bad, just average...

Lovely food with varied menu The tilapia was particularly delicious. Good friendly service and it all felt covid safe. It's our 3rd visit in 5 years and all have been equally good. If we lived locally we would visit more often.

Still the best in SoS. Friendly staff, lovely food. Always find their meals have a nice amount of flavour and spices, nothing bland so far. Lamb Rogan Josh is one of our regular orders. Also happy they bought the minimum spend back down for delivery

I visited the restaurant while on a day visit to Stourport. The food was okay, but the reason for the 1-star rating is something else. I was charged twice for my bill and the restaurant didn't make any efforts at all to return back the money they owed me. While paying for the food, the first time I swiped my card, I was told that the payment didn't go through. As I had not seen anything that would suggest so, I asked the lady handling the transaction to check again. I was told it definitely didn't go through. I happily trusted her and proceeded to swipe my card the 2nd time. The next day upon checking my bank statement, I realised that I had been charged twice. I called the restaurant and the same lady answered the phone. She apologised for the error and said that I would receive a call back from her manager. It wasn't practical for me to go back the restaurant as I was already back home which is 75 miles away - a fact which I had clearly mentioned. I waited for 4 weeks to get a call back and even called back several times, but to no avail. Left with no choice, I had to raise a disputed transaction with my bank. The experience was a rather unpleasant one and I hope they improve their attitude towards their customers.

Looking for somewhere different to go we visited here on a Friday night. I did a bit of research first and it's actually the #2 restaurant in Stourport so it can't be bad? Strange how the #3 restaurant sits above it on TripAdvisor though. The room looks a bit tired and rough around the edges but it's clean and tidy and we were pleased they are following all the Covid prevention guidelines. The room was a bit on the cool side but at least we had a warm welcome from a very polite and friendly waitress, the service was relaxed but attentive. Our experience was great, from poppadoms through to the bill. The chicken Ceylon was superb, I haven't had this dish for a long time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The wife was also highly impressed with her very flavoursome korai. The sides were good but I prefer chips to fries and a more "traditional" pilau rice. Unfortunately they didn't have any Kulfi dessert for the wife. The drinks are reasonably priced, not that I can have much being the driver. We will try the others in Stourport and hope that the food and service is as good as here.

This was our first meal out after lockdown and was a little worried but we were soon made to feel at ease. Tables had been removed to make way for social distancing and zones clearly marked out on the floor with hand sanitiser as you entered. All staff were friendly and wore masks and each table was made up fresh when the diner sat down. The food was piping hot and with fewer diners the service was quicker. I had the Chicken Tikka Ceylon and the balance between hotness and flavoursome spices was spot on. Well done Namaste in ticking all the boxes during these difficult and trying times. Looking forward to our next visit!!!
