My friend and I had an amazing experience tonight, by far one of our best meals we have ever had. All dishes were very tasty, elaborate yet not heavy on the stomach. I cannot wait to go back and present the restaurant to more people. The warm atmosphere and all staff also made this experience so pleasant. A special thanks to the waiter Jafaf who was such a lovely soul who recommended us great dishes and hosted us with his whole heart. Thank you again great experience I highly recommend!

Honestly if I could give 10 stars I would. If you are looking for somewhere with quality food and exceptional customer service this place ticks every box. Our waiter Jaffa definitely took our experience to the next level- we went for a family birthday meal and the food did not disappoint- good portion sizes and everything was so fresh. Will definitely return!

Went there with my friend for dinner ,My friend ordered chapli kebab and I ordered Kabuli Pilau, The Kabuli pilau was ok but as soon as we came out of the restaurant,my friend was rushing to the toilet because the chapli kebab meat was old and they didn’t cooked it properly as well. The naan was grill made naan,(not tandoori naan).The staff was nice but they should work on the food quality as it’s the main thing for the restaurant.

I had some work in Glasgow and someone had recommended Namak Mandi to me. I was hungry and even though my kids were in pyjamas and we were ready to go back home I decided to go in Namak Mandi. What a decision it was. It is a gem in Glasgow. When I go to Pakistan I always have Chapli kebabs and love them, the kebabs I ate here were the best I’ve had in the UK. They were so good and reminded me of the Peshawar streets. You could taste all the ingredients of the kebab and the aroma was so nice. It is so highly recommended from my side. We also ordered charsi chicken karahi and that was brilliant. Everything was so nice and a special thank you to Shahzaib for his brilliant service and the chef that personally came to the tables to make sure everyone was happy which was really nice. I highly recommend Namak Mandi and thank you so much again, looking forward to coming back again.

The Restaurant was gorgeous! Jaffa our server was the Best! Today is our first day in Scotland and he gave us a warm welcome. He did a wonderful job at explaining the menu and asked the chef to reduce the spice for me & my sister. We so enjoyed meeting the chef. We ordered Dam Pukht, best dish we have had on our UK vacation.

Hawa was our waiter and she was lovely. She tried her best to make sure the service was on point. Food was not as good as the original namak mandi. I asked for the biryani to be medium-spicy but it was very mild. I sent it back and asked for little bit more spiciness but they made it too hot and I could not eat it.

Shhhh, I don't really want to tell anyone about this place as I find it so excellent. A safe haven in the city centre. The food is fresh and tasty, the staff kind, the music unobtrusive and the atmosphere safe and chill. 10/10 for me. Also, bonus, many of the dishes are celiac safe.

Would HIGHLY recommend. Stopped in for their lunch buffet after getting this as a recommendation and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the server was very attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautiful.

I had a lovely meal here with family, We were welcomed warmly at reception and let to the main restaurant hall. Decoration is very nice and unique warm environment. Our waiter recommended some dishes which were well cooked, full of flavour with the meat melting in the mouth. To top off the food and environment our waitress Hwazen, was very welcoming, had great manners, made us feel relaxed, without her our evening wouldn't have been quite the same.

It was clear from the outset that the staff here are highly attentive, ensuring that I was comfortable and settled in. Than Mr. Jaffar introduced himself and He had a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, making thoughtful recommendations from the menu without being overbearing. Throughout the meal, he checked in at just the right moments—never too frequent, yet always there when I needed something. What stood out most was his attention to detail. When the meal concluded, I was once again thanked genuinely for my visit, making me feel appreciated as a guest. It wasn’t just the food that made the experience memorable but the incredible hospitality that made me want to return. Their team created a welcoming, enjoyable, and personable atmosphere, which is hard to come by and even harder to forget. This restaurant truly shines, not just in its cuisine but in the unparalleled service that makes every guest feel valued.

How this place has nosedived since we last visited them at their old location. Lunch buffet... what a joke it was. Luke warm dishes almost empty and not being topped up. Desserts are thrown on a side table which means they don't stay cold. Service very slow. Will not be back again!!

Went there for lunch last weekend. Really disappointed by the service, it took so long to get the lunch menu. Foods didn’t taste fresh, overly priced, poor service. Heard good reviews about it hence the visit but really disappointed. Do not recommend!

I went for a sister date and we loved it! The staff are all so friendly and hospitable it gives off family vibes which we loved. We got the mixed grill and it was so gooood!!!! I would highly recommend. If you come to Glasgow this should be first on your list to try.

An honest review from my visit an hour ago , I wanted to have a warm and healthy dinner specially in this chilly weather so went for the paya with roghan naan , must say it was specially and carefully made , the moderated spice level and a hot bowl of payaa made a cozy end to my day . What stood apart was the service , it was honouring to have the head chef Mr. Hamid specially to my table and share his wonderful and enlightening words . Truly respect that ! Jafar , made sure I was happy every second as well ! The restaurant felt especially special with soothing music and neat cutlery and well prepared table . Food was out of this world matched with the service- Jaffa was just awesome nothing was too much for him- he is a asset to Namak Mandi. - we came from Manchester for work and will for sure visit again on our next visit.

Visited here for lunch , very few to no vegetarian options , managed to get their palak paneer , the quantity was sufficient with their huge naans(pakistani) not Indian styled , the taste was mediocre , for the prices the food and vegetarian options can be better

Went in with a party of 8, upon order found out that Daal will take an hour told them it’s fine and do the rest of the order. Waiter comes back half an hour later to say that Kabuli pulao will take an hour as well. At that point we just walked out, would not recommend at all.

Unfortunately, my recent dining experience at namak mandi was extremely disappointing. Despite waiting for 30 minutes, I did not receive food, I was informed that some of the items on the menu were not available it will take 1 hour after 30 minutes waiting . The lack of communication and delayed service left me feeling frustrated and unattended to as a customer. It is unacceptable for a restaurant to keep patrons waiting without any indication of when their order will be ready. Additionally, the unavailability of menu items further added to the disappointment of the overall experience. I hope that namak mandi takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their service and communication with customers in the future. As a paying customer, I expect better service and transparency when dining out

What a shame I have recommended this restaurant to many in past however recent experience at new place was disappointing. Portion side and quality has decreased and prices are up. Parking is on road and nightmare.Its no more same Namak Mandi . I won’t recommend

: Asked for chicken madras as I like it spicy. The waiter stated they don't do it but can do a spicy karahi. I specifically asked him to make it spicy E.g. The sauce and not to just throw green chilies onit. When he bought it out, it just has sliced up green chillies onit. Explained to him again. I actually want the sauce to be spicy. He took it bakc and just mixed the green chilies into the dish. Also the chicken was like rubber and was chicken thigh not chicken brest : We order 4 karahi and all 4 were all poor quality. Also the overal atsompher and customer service was next to none. Would rather stick to a akbars Really unfortunate it wasn't a great experience. Really had high hopes for this place as they have fantastic decor and a amazing social media page.

We arrived here late on a Sunday after being rejected by other restaurants due to it being a kitchen closures, the staff here were so welcoming and attentive even though their kitchen was also closing! Lovely food and most amazing service, highly recommend!

Excellent good. Service seemed a little obnoxious. My female waitress was great and we had a table of 12 so it was busy but one waiter did make a poorly judged comment which took my niece aback.

Went for early dinner while visiting Glasgow. Was recommended by friends and now I know why. First, Atmosphäre was really nice. Quite big hall. Also has a function room upstairs. Food wise a lot of variety was available to order. We ordered Chapli kebabs, Chicken Karahi and Kabli pulao. Chapli Kebabs came with 2 big rotis. Food was as we ordered (spicy) and was delicious. Was very well done and everything was perfect. Staff was really helpful, from the time we arrived till we left, we were really taken care of. Our little one spilled the drink on the floor which the staff quickly not only cleaned but also replaced with a new one. Price wise, it wasn’t that expensive. Finding parking wasn’t easy. But there’s a paid parking not far from it.

We ordered BBQ platter, Nihari and Manchurian everything was delicious and up to the mark.
