Great food and great service from the staff. Best Gulab jamun and vada pav in the world!

Food was average. Starter (Paneer) was small in portion. Service was good and prompt.

Was hyped by many Indians and it looked average at its best. Visited today with my friend as this was first time for both of us there. I recommended going there but it's abysmal the time we have to wait for every dish to be served. Chilli chicken was very average and Chole bhature was okayish.Bacardi was the only thing to mention as a positive. £54 for two people today promising each other that we are never coming back here.

We had the lunch deal, which is very favorable price-wise. But above all, it was all very tasty!

Delicious food and great service. I was craving Indian cuisine and stumbled upon this quaint little gem. The best meal so far of our visit to Glasgow. My husband wanted a dish that was not on the menu and the chef prepared it for him. Thank you Masala Twist for an excellent dining experience. 5 Stars ⭐️

Had a great lunch. Everything we had was explained brilliantly. Tanishq was our server he went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. It was so different from other Indian restaurants we have tried. Authentic and unique Indian cuisine. Would definitely recommend and will be back. 🏆

We visited Masala Twist this past Wednesday, and sadly, our experience was quite unpleasant. While the food and staff were decent, the behavior of what seemed to be two senior managers or people in authority left us extremely disappointed. They were fighting, one of the managers, a lady in whites, was shouting like hell right in front of customers, creating a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere. Though the staff tried their best to remain professional and handle the situation, it was clear they were embarrassed. It’s unfortunate because the team seemed polite and willing to help, but this incident completely overshadowed the positives. Such unprofessional conduct is unacceptable, and unfortunately, we won't be returning. A restaurant should not only serve good food but also maintain a welcoming and harmonious environment, and Masala Twist failed in this regard.

Wow what a find tucked away down the side street. Delicious is how I would describe the food , taste and aroma of this beautiful restaurant , top marks to the Chef and the waitering staff excellent service. Good value for money my new go to when in Glasgow. Thank you all

The service was good, great environment, but the quality of food need a lot improvement We ordered from the Street of India. Pav Bhaji vegetables were not mashed properly and without taste, Papdi chaat - papdi were soggy.

We both had the Malai Kofta with egg fried rice and it was incredible. The garlic naan was also really good and buttery. Not only that but it was also very affordable. The servers were very polite and attentive. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was also very positive. I would definitely recommend eating here!

Honestly I really love to visit here. Feels like home. Taste totally different but similar to panjab . Raman sir thanks for always peppering us. Also thanks for surprising my sister on her birthday. Also staff they are too sweet thnku guys. I recommend everyone to come and enjoy with lovely food.

Use to be a regular customer since an year. Like the veg food here. Few months back, the prices were increased a bit which is okay. But recently the portion sizes have been further reduced. Pav in the vada pav, quantity in chole bhature, any gravy or even the sizes of the naan everything has shrunk. Wonder what drove this, makes me think now before I plan a visit. The staff is good.

Ordered for collection, quick and sharp service. The peshawari naan is huge and delight. I will order from here again.

I dined with someone with extensive allergies, despite this the chef's were able to suggest a multitude of menu options and ensured their food was seperate from contaminants. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We arrived and it was somewhat busy and were served without delay. I found the menu to be fantastic, in particular, the 'street food' options were a welcome change from the traditional menus seen in most Indian restaurants. I have been back twice since my initial visit and found it consistently fantastic. Our collective order consisted of a main, rice, a dozen poppadoms, 3 sides/starters and 2 drinks totaling less than £30. I would recommend a try to absolutely anyone.

Not for Indians I’m afraid… food is tasteless. We ordered starters first and everything tasted so bad…. Nothing close to Indian food. We couldn’t even finish that and didn’t order any main. Ended up eating in McDonalds nearby for that night.

I recently dined at Twist Masala and would give it 4 out of 5 stars. The Chicken Butter was exceptional-rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. However, the atmosphere was a bit off due to the open kitchen right next to the tables. The strong onion smell was distracting, which took away from the experience. Despite this, the food quality makes it worth a visit, especially for the Chicken Butter.

We have visited 2 time in last 2 days and food are super affordable and taste is like we eat at our home love the friendly atmosphere Highly recommended

Our search for Indian food ended here. The food was very delicious. Even in India we won't find such delicious food. We visited 6 times in 4 days here. We tried different dishes every time we visited. Also the staff work here are very nice and caring. We found more foreigners than Indians here enjoying the Indian food very much. The must go place for Indian food if you are in Glasgow.👍👍👍

What a great evening...! Although it was initially only our second choice, we didn't regret going to Masala Twist for a second. We received a very warm welcome and were really happy about our visit. Since the selection is quite large, we were offered to make recommendations, but we were able to make our own choice. After Naan (with cheese, wonderfully fluffy) and Haggis Pakora (super fresh and delicious), we decided on Lamb Malaidar and the classic Chicken Tikka Masala. The spiciness levels are already indicated on the menu and we were wondering whether the 2 chilies would be too spicy for our western stomachs (even though we like spicy food). Our worries were unfounded, both dishes were terrific, excellently seasoned, the meat was extremely tender, we ate everything down to the last crumb. Kashish and her team, who seemed like a big family to us, invited us to a small, sweet dessert to round off the evening. It was so delicious, we would love to come back. Thanks!!!

Popped in on the last day of a walking holiday with my friend. Seated as soon as we walked in by Kashish, she was super friendly and the place has a really nice atmosphere. Food was absolutely outstanding. Had some fried starters, a couple of mains and a garlic and coriander naan. Absolutely delicious. Kashish and our other server Tanishq were absolutely fantastic. Attentive without being overbearing. Can't recommend this place enough. Definitely a highlight of the trip!

Excellent food esp Pav Bhaji, Tea, Curry and Dal. Tanishq was very friendly at serving and knowledgeable at the recommendation. Good vide inside, loved interior of the restaurant. Taste better than London restaurants. Highly recommended as a London resident travelling to Scotland.

We came from london. It was amazing ambience and relaxing for us with proper indian vibes. Tanshiq really helped us with recommendations. Pavbhaji is must try here. Also kadai paneer was good. Loved it!

Had a very bad experience with the staff there. I’ve been there with my friends. One of my friends ordered masala chaas and it was too salty. When she said the same thing to one of the staff members there they gave a very rude reaction to her by saying this is the way it’s supposed be made. We only make it this way. Rather than listening to her about adding a little yogurt or water to it to make it better. One of the staff girl was making weird faces towards our group too. It was the worst experience we’ve had. We ordered Manchurian, chaat bombs(dahi golgappe). Manchurian was nice but Chaat bombs were bland. In mains we ordered Punjabi kadhi pakoda and tandoori roti which were alright. I’d not recommend this place cause of staff and their behaviour. If you do wanna try food better get a delivery at home.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience today. My family and I have visited this restaurant several times in the past and always found it good, but today’s experience changed our perspective entirely. In the middle of our meal, the waiter abruptly asked us to move to another table because there was another group coming and they had to join the tables to accommodate them. This was not only disruptive but also highly unprofessional , it shows how bad the planning is. We reluctantly moved to avoid creating a scene, but it completely ruined our dining experience. The lack of consideration for customers' comfort and enjoyment is unacceptable. Being asked to move during a meal shows a complete disregard for customer service. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I urge others to think twice before dining here. There are plenty of other establishments that value their patrons and provide a much better dining experience

We came here for our first proper meal after 6 weeks of wild camping on the Isle of Rum. We were greeted at the door given a place to store our large bags and seated almost instantly. We were served by Hamsa who took the time to clarify menu items further for us. The food came out quick especially considering it was a busy night, the food tasted amazing and was even some of the best we have had! Hamsa and all the other staff we interacted with were nice and considerate and we really appreciated the decor and music adding much to the atmosphere and our experience. We will definitely be coming here again if we are in Glasgow.

I had the chicken biryani and DW had the lamb biryani. We both declared it excellent, although I would prefer to have had less cilantro in mine. The Peshwari nan was the best we've ever had, and the serving size was huge.

We were here for a birthday party in 2nd floor hall. Nice wee room to celebrate a tiny party like 20-30s people gathering. Starter(All Veg) was very tasty and like panner tikka, kababs etc. Main course was also ok, Dal makhni was tasty. Parking is difficult but just park is just 2-3 minutes walk away or Buchanan house car park is 7 minutes walk away.

Arrived for a work trip, a lot of the locals suggested I try the Indian food so this place popped up! I do not regret my decision at all, stuti the beautiful lady took her time to explain the food and suggest me foods to try was very much appreciated! Thank you! I tried the Chicken Biriyani with Curry & Mango Lassi which I would rate 10/10 and 8/10 respectively (I think the food tasted so full and satisfying that the lassi couldn’t keep up lol) thank you 10/10 would recommend! Sorry for no pictures I was too hungry 😅

I visited today (17/06/24) with my friend, to the staff at Masala Twist I was the guy with Green spiky hair, Blue short sleeved Hoodie and White Shorts. On first impressions, the place looked homely and small which was good signs for not an overly crowded establishment. The Menu was thankfully one page long, simple, descriptive and inviting. I had the Mango & Coriander chicken for starters which were so fresh and melt in the mouth! Along with fresh chips and who can't resist Chicken Pakoras!! The food was amazing and service especially from my very lovely host Jyoti was nothing short of outstanding! So friendly, polite, sweet and nothing any trouble for her. Next time I visit I promised to bring her a slice of cake from my own work as a "Thank you" and I'll keep my word to that. I can't wait to be back to see the amazing team, Jyoti & the FOOD!

I visited Masala Twist at the Hope street in Glasgow recently. Everything is perfect with delicious food, service and the atmosphere.

We had dinner to Masala Twist and the psv bhaji and vada pav were amazing and mouthwatering... the service was fantastic and quick especially when somebody comes from a long tour and are starving. Ambience is also very good.👌

As soon as we were seated it was a delightful experience as the workers here were so polite and very kind I recommend this place 100%

The main dishes were great though some of the prawns had been partially reduced to charcoal. Also, both my dad and I thought our chairs were wet- the seat of my pants was damp when we left. Weird. Regardless, the food was good.

What a great Indian restaurant. Extremely friendly staff and the food was freshly prepared and delicious. We loved the chicken Tikka, wonderfully seasoned, free from red dye and absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices too. We left knowing that we would be back again soon, and ringing the bell on the way out to confirm that we'd had a great time. Definitely worth a visit if you've never been before.
