Bravo to the chef and moreover Fahad, they made the visit worthwhile. Great service and welcome by Fahad, followed most exquisite food. The food was marinated to an amazing standard, succulent and tender. Must visit this place again.

I recently had dinner at Namaaste highgate and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. I ordered the Chicken Tikka and decided to try something new — the Mongolian Curry. The Chicken Tikka was flavorful and perfectly cooked, but the real standout was the Mongolian Curry. It was my first time trying it, and it absolutely blew me away with its rich, savory flavors and unique blend of spices. The dish was both comforting and exciting — a perfect balance. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made for a relaxing evening. I’ll definitely be returning, especially for that incredible curry.

The best Indian food we had in ages. Exceptional starters(we had Aloo Tikki Chat, Chicken Chilli and Chicken Lollipop) and delicious mains which had my fav Old delhi chicken biryani. Definitely will visit again.

Lovely place to lunch! The lamb and mashed potatoes were wonderful, as were the portobello mushrooms. The mocktails were very refreshing on a hot day, and the crossroads this restaurant is located at gave us a a nice opportunity to people watch. Quick, friendly service and cosy interior. Recommended!

The food was delicioussss and very quick!! The mutton curry was tender, although the chicken biryani was average. We had the garlic naan and spiced lamb naan which was lovely. Shavz was our waiter and he was friendly!

This is a very cute and cozy looking restaurant. I went to this place with a group of 6 friends. We ordered following vegetarian dishes: Pao Bhaji, Idli Sambhar, Vada pao with chips, schezwan paneer. We also ordered mango lassi and Nimbu pani. Pao Bhaji was really good and comes with chips. Pao Bhaji tasted so good that we reordered it but to our disappointment it was not good the second time. I never thought that the restaurant will not maintain consistency in their dishes. Schezwan paneer and idli sambhar were good, no complaints. The biggest disappointment was the vada pao which did not taste like vada pao at all. The fried patty was very oily and vada pao didn't have the garlic chutney or any chutney. Drinks were okay, mango lassi was quite good. The chips were soggy in all the dishes. The service is very okay, we asked for salt which never arrived on the table The service is super slow but atmosphere is good given how pretty the restaurant is. All in all it was a very okay experience for the price you pay.

Food is good! The atmosphere could be very enjoyable. Unfortunately, attended on Mother’s Day: There was a table with children screaming so loudly. The manager listen to our complains and went to talk to the clients. Service was lovely to indulge our requests and helped a lot! Sweet and caring staff. Will be back to try the lamb shank! I’m a regular here as it’s my local. We also come with the dads regularly. Service is hit and miss however the waiter by name of Hannah was amazing and turned a very poor start to a great evening with my girls. Food is always decent , and probably the prettiest Indian restaurant in north London.

The Goan sea bass, mutton curry and tandoori prawns were brilliant. All dishes were incredibly fragrant and the ingredients were clearly very fresh. I would definitely recommend Namaaste if you are looking for an Indian restaurant which excels in seafood and Goan or South Indian flavours

Horrible experience. Manager is very unprofessional and rude. Wouldn't recommend. Don’t bring your kids here, they don’t accommodate kids and will tell you to silence your child.

Me & my family decided to go Namaste on the day of Eid as well as Mother’s Day so we can try out their highly rated food, one that we were excited about cause we are big fans of Indian food. I personally gave them a call to ask for available reservations as well as if they were child friendly ( 3 under 2 children). Which they told me they’d call back to confirm this, once we got the call back we immediately made our way. Upon arrival we were seated on one of the few big tables that happened to be right in in between two other customers that were already there (bare in mind there was a big tables that was in the far corner away from others). As we were odering lady hannah kept going around and asking if they were okay but constantly avoiding as well as glaring at us which she thought we’d not realise, that already got us upset but decided to ignore. We had a lovely family on one of the table and we apologised for any inconvenience caused by the children which they politely told us that it was not a problem and we appreciate it - Hannah then proceeded to go the family to ask if they wanted to move table which they declined. As minutes passed she decided to come to our table and ask if we could make the baby be quiet. A BABY…BLOODY BABY. That was the last straw for us because a happy day that we wished to continue & have a great experience in “ great establishment “ was ruined by such customer service. The absolute unprofessionalism shown by that woman was something we’d never thought we’d have to experience let alone have to write about. She was absolutely rude and clearly shows that she doesn’t know what it’s like to keep a child at ease. This is hands down the worst customer service & experience we’d come across ! The other customers were absolutely disgusting & awful, they were really the cherry on top in this establishment. They should have never confirmed it if this the type of experience they give to families!

i went there with my family excited to try some indian food. we had 3 kids with us. we called before hand asking if it was baby friendly. just to have a hannah approach us to tell us if we can keep our baby quite.A BABY QUITE. we was very quickly disgusted and left. it was embarrassing

This was our first visit to Namaaste. The food was excellent with some new and exciting flavours and combinations. The service was prompt, courteous and attentive. We liked the general ambience which had a relaxed air to it. Unfortunately while we were there was an incident that seemed to get out of hand. There was a large group of young women with 3 young children. One of the infants was shrieking loudly and frequently. The restaurant was busy with a range of diners, some also with infants and young children. We observed that after a while a staff member politely approached the large group of young women requesting them to try to quieten the infant as it was disturbing to others. The group intially seemed to accept this but very soon became extremely indignant and accused the staff member of being unreasonable and stormed out. To us it was unfortunate that they chose to react in this way to what seemed a very reasonable request given the frequency of such shrill screams and its impact on others. However this one off incident has not put us off and we look forward to eating at Namaaste again.

Had a belated birthday and anniversary meal here with my partner and we were so impressed with everything. The food was delightful! My partner has family in India and he said it’s the best Indian he’s had outside of India. The service was prompt, friendly and personal - with a candle on my cheesecake for dessert :). Our server Shabz was so lovely and fun. Will be back and would highly recommend!

So delicious! I would especially recommend the samosa chaat which was so flavourful and delicious. All the dishes felt very authentic (with limca and thums up on the drinks menu!) and had the perfect level of spice. The interior was also gorgeous, with a lovely and sophisticated pink and green theme. Great service and they even gave us a couple of extra chocolates as well as offering to take a whole-family photo for us when they saw me taking a picture of my parents. Super friendly wait staff who were very attentive and wiped down the table between every course!

Very warm welcome and very good restaurant

Mr. T was a great bar tender and server. Great food. Would recommend the squid masala and portobello appetizers were amazing!

The portions were really generous and the food incredibly tasty! We had some samosas for starters and let me tell you, the presentation was very nice and they came with garnish and it was delicious. For mains we had Lamb Shank Nihari, which was a huge leg of lamb with sauce and spices that it took me a while to finish but it was worth every second. My girlfriend had Idli Samber, which is some rice bread with a lentil puree that is very tasty and she finished in no time! Overall we had a great experience, waiting time was very short, Mr. T gave us an excellent service and we ate really well. We will definitely come back here! Really recommend it!

Food was excellent, touch on the spicy side so come prepared. Service was very attentive and courteous. Atmosphere was a bit dead as we were the only table in the place but maybe too early in the evening.

Disappointed after reading other reviews. NYD visit may have played a significant part. Staff drafted in from other restaurants to run this restaurant. Food was not the greatest of quality, but edible. The menu production team should consider fantasy book writing. Either an off day due to time of year or previously easily pleased diners.

Very disappointed by the whole experience! Freezing cold in here only one small electric radiator and half the lights on ! The food is NOT freshly cooked but heated up !! I asked for spicy food the answer was we can give you spice after?? I want it cooked with if ?so I said oh the food is heated up then No was the answer we cook from fresh .. Really when the dish arrived in 10 mins HARDLY And to top it all 12.5 service charge 🎈🤨 This restaurant is not good the decor looks good but that’s it .Dont be fooled People were leaving when I was there as the coldness was unacceptable when I got home I had to put the heating on 24 degrees pajama and dressing gown electric radiator and a hot bath !🤷‍♀️took 6 hours to get warm after this miserable experience! Shame on you for being SO mean not to keep your customers warm and lying about the freshness plus not catering for Vegans when it states you DO !!

It’s Shame that even today we face discrimination, and ironically by one of yours. Staff was absolutely terrible. No hygine , if you are Asian and looking for good Indian food please never go there you might be treated as you can’t afford to seat in their restaurants. We went for dinner after booking and first response we got was while standing at door that we gonna be close soon with disgusting look from one of the staff. Later while being seated no one care to give us the menu card, my friend has to get it from bar counter top . Still no one was coming to us even to take order. Same man was loitering around in empty space. Such a poor service after ordering food. They were not even looking at us in fear that we might ask millions from them. If you are in hospitality business you must maintain hygiene . But that was missing too as they were having dirty uniforms on even when they came to take our order. It’s not like that they don’t know all this things sad part is we could see all this basic etiquette of hospitality shown to others because they are not brown. But we are brown so they are least bothered to even consider as customer. Fish was absolutely tasteless and not cooked properly. But lamb was good and you could experience the different flavours. We were so disappointed that we didn’t even feel like taking picture of food.
