Naked Noodle in Liverpool

If you like un messed with, authentic Sushi that’s not the fusion stuff or ‘done with a stupid twist’ type…. You’ll love this place. The rolls are all beautifully crafted and made fresh to order. Sushi Grade A+ seafood is used! It’s honestly the best sushi I’ve had outside of Tokyo and that includes any London restaurant. This is my 5th visit now and it’s always consistently outstanding!

Disappointing. Food was terrible , tempura vegetables , I couldn’t tell what was I eating , to oily and taste like the oil was used for a long time . The ramen was terrible , dog food tastes better , and don’t want to tell about the teriyaki roll , drinks also bad . Won’t go back .

Excellent Sushi restaurant, very efficient, quick and friendly service, fresh produce, generous servings. We were 3 and had three dishes each, drinks and deserts, and it cost us 90£. I recommend!

The food served is not authentic Japanese. Disappointed with the quality. The green tea I ordered for £2.50 was purely a mug of hot water weakly infused with green tea leaves. The Benton box came without miso soup, which is normally expected in a Japanese restaurant. The rice certainly did not taste like Japanese rice. There is even deep fried spring rolls in my chicken bento box? Don't come here if you're looking for authentic Japanese food.

Ordered online was impressed with the size of portion, the only downside was chicken bites in my salmon box which didnt taste like chicken👀 and I didnt eat them, otherwise sushi were nice

Family visit. We love Etsu but couldn’t get through to book a table. Came here. Fast service and reasonable prices. Large portion sizes. Sashimi quite cold and firm. Not the best. Rolls reasonably good. Dragon rolls visually very good and tasty. I’d go back for a Bento box lunch but not as an evening meal / treat. But perhaps the more informal style is what the aim is really. For a quick lunch with a bit of sushi I think it would be good. But nowhere near Etsu in quality (or price).

Naked Noodle is by far the best place in Liverpool for Japanese cuisine in a casual setting. Reasonably priced for such top quality food all enjoyed in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. I love it!

I ordered Cooked Teriyaki Salmon Maki rolls andYakisoba with chicken breast The rolls arrived and where basically rice with a very unpleasant brown tinned salmon filling, it wasn’t even pink When I questioned he manager he insisted that this is how they come normally when I questioned why it didn’t say tinned salmon on the menu he replied that is teriyaki salmon. I’ve eaten cooked teriyaki salmon all over the world and none of it ever came out of a tin with a bit of cheap teriyaki sauce drizzled on top. I asked if I could change them for fresh fish alternative and he wanted to charge me £4.50 to return the item. Honestly I tried one and it tasted terrible and just dissolved when I touched it on the Soy. The Yakisoba was very plain and needed dousing in soy sauce to add flavour. Ican honestly say the cooked fish sushi in Asda tastes better and that’s horrific !I think the manager needs a good lesson in how to write a menu properly and in customer service. He could’ve resolve this very easily by not being rude to me and just swapping it for something else that I would of happily paid for.

Lots of options. Had the teriyaki salmon, some sushi and a meat dish. It was pretty dry like it had been over cooked and reheated. Won’t return.

Visited yesterday, enticed in by the food we could see others eating. Order was quick efficient and food came really quickly, but was very fresh. Squid was lovely. Husband chose eel which was nice although fairly measly portion. I chose the beef ramen and was so disappointed, it really lacked flavour and the noodles lacked any taste at all. The slices of beef were OK, but it was evident the broth wasn't up to scratch, which is obviously key for ramen! Had some sake cocktails which were 'interesting' although not particularly nice! Disappointing visit. Maybe just chose the wrong thing off the pretty extensive menu!

On Sunday we went over to Liverpool and as we couldn’t do our usual little pub crawl we did a little food crawl (only 1 bottle of wine was had haha) our first stop was lunch at Naked Noodle on bold street. The place was lovely and clean all the Covid things in place. Not being a fan of fish I chose the chicken noodles they were delicious, the other meals that were ordered were chicken and pork katsu curry, king prawn noodles, salt and pepper chicken wings, vegetable tempura, seaweed salad, teriyaki salmon rolls and salmon nigiri. It was far too much the portions are massive. Would definitely go back xxx

Estuve aquí hoy con mi amigo para almorzar y Naked Noodle siempre es mi restaurante al que ir para un curry de pollo Katsu con los amables miembros del personal, el ambiente limpio y el gran tamaño de la porción por el precio. Me decepcionó un poco el aumento de precio de 8. 50 con una guarnición de sopa de miso y el Katsu a 9. 80 solo por el katsu, pero entiendo esto con una pandemia global. Todavía no entiendo por qué la gente paga alrededor de 13 para sentarse en una cadena de restaurantes de mala calidad cuando Naked Noodle está aquí. Las bebidas son caras, así que tenlo en cuenta. Definitivamente regresaría pronto

Really authentic Japanese food. Recommend trying the unagi don, which was very delicious. It was not expensive at all too, which makes it even better.

I always thought this was a fast food/run of the mill copycat eatery. How wrong was I, this place makes all the sushi to order and the rice is still warm when it is served. The menu is not overly extravagant and not too expensive. It is now our goto for sushi everytime.

Visited Naked Noodle today for my ramen fix. Went around 6pm on Sunday so it was quiet. The place was immaculate. Loads of staff around as well so service was fabulous. I had a green tea and the chicken ramen. A good price for a large bowl of ramen, which was tasty, but tasted way too much of garlic in my opinion. Will be coming back to try everything on the menu!

We were lucky enough to spot this place while looking for somewhere to have lunch. Wow this place is amazing. It has a large open kitchen so you can see everything being freshly prepared from scratch. This was the tastiest noodle dish ive had, plentiful too, not to mention great value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is spotless. Highly recommended.

Came here with my dad on Sunday for tea and wow, what an amazing meal!! Ordered katsu curry and a load of sushi and gyozas between us and came to £30! The staff are fab and the food is absolutely beautiful and so fresh tasting! I’m so glad Liverpool finally has a good and well priced sushi restaurant. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu...... would recommend to anyone, even if you don’t like sushi, they have plenty of other options such as noodles and rice dishes. Thanks for an amazing meal, can’t wait to come back!

I eat quite a lot of sushi and honestly this had exceeded my expectations.My absolute go-to sushi is Salmon and Avocado Roll- upon having a variety from different places, I can definitely say this one was amazing. I decided to also try something new from their special sushi section (forgot the name but its at the top of the menu), I was POSITIVELY surprised. I also love having ginger with soy sauce, and upon asking for more, we were given it with a great smile. Love this restaurant, love the music too (throwback songs), great vibe.Would definitely recommend.

The food here feels healthy and fresh, it is excellent value for money and great for a drop-in meal. Highly recommended!

Visited with my girlfriend, we tried out chicken katsu curry and the kimchi squid with rice. Both tasted really good, the portions are big enough, did not go away hungry. Place is really clean as well, would recommend

We had a sushi set A , a seaweed salad and a steak and noodles. Sushi was excellent as was the seaweed . The steak was a bit tough but the flavours were excellent. Also had a chicken dish which was a side served with Tartar sauce, sounds a strange combination but it was superb. The place was clean and the staff were friendly . I would definitely recommend

My hubby and I have just come back from Japan and we were missing it!

Been twice and both times it’s been really quiet and I can’t figure out why as the food has been great both times. I ordered rolls and sashimi both times. I’d go as far to say the best sushi in the city (although that’s not hard).

I have air traffic three weeks inJaoaj and can’t recommend this place enough. The whole experience from entering to paying was a joy. Sushi is incredible for the price and portion sizes are great. In my experience you get way more then you pay for. I would live in this restaurant if I could. Gutted I live in Leeds otherwise I would be here every night.

We visited on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch, wasn’t too busy at the time mostly solo diners.

Had a day trip out to Liverpool and my wife and i were feeling hungry mid afternoon.

Finally found a decent Ramen place in Liverpool. They broth actually tastes like the meat is cooked in it rather than seperately. 12 hour chicken bone broth, the Beef Ramen is my favourite though. The sushi is pretty good here too.... very good value around £8 for a roll. We had the OMG Roll which was deep fried sushi roll (another level!). Whether we come here for Sushi or Ramen we always order the Nanban Chicken which everyone i take here loves... comes sprinkled with chilli strands and mayo dip. Love the drink selection too.. my favourite Asahi, plus Kirin and Sapporo... and the Green Matcha Tea is really good too. Another one of my go to places as good food and reasonable price. My only comment with the place is that they stuck large poster menus on the window which i think makes the place look a tad cheap. I know they are trying to advertise but I think if you are passing by you can see people eating the mouth watering dishes which I think is a better advert. Just need a small smart menu at the entrance and am sure it will be busy all the time.

Vi ledte egentlig efter Running Sushi, men kunne ikke finde dette koncept i Liverpool. Vi gik derfor ind på Naked Noodle og blev ikke skuffet. Vi bestilte lidt forskellig sushi til meget fornuftig pris.

This place is consistently the best value, quality and service for noodle and sushi in Liverpool. Don’t miss out on the Nambam chicken side which is simply sensational.

I love going out for sushi and when it's done well, it's even better. I'll be making this place my new favourite, the sashimi was so fresh and tasted amazing. The staff were so welcoming and served us quickly with no errors. Lots to choose from on the menu, it was a great experience.

The Sushi platter for one to two persons was immediately prepared after having ordered. Served with very fresh herbs and partially on ice, it looked nice and was of great taste! We enjoyed this meal and went back for another one the very next day.

This place is probably one of the best sushi restaurants in Liverpool! Really! If you like sushi you must try it, customer service is excellent too!

A new and smart little eatery opened recently literally yards from Central Station. Here one can indulge in well prepared ramen noodle bowls at reasonable prices.The restaurant is cosy and the staff helpful.A very Asian experience.

The food is delicious with good size portions. There is effort in the presentation and the quality is super ^.^ The staff are always welcoming and the place is tastefully decorated. I love this place.

My partner and I absolutely love it here. The food is delicious, and super affordable! You definitely get your moneys worth. Accommodating towards those who have different dietary requirements too - as my partner is a meat eater, and I am not. The staff are always so friendly and attentive - can’t fault anything! On first appearances we were pleasantly surprised The venue is typical of a local Japanese restaurant . Unfortunately the food is not . The Ramen broth was tasteless and had no flavour.

First tome visiting, excellent portion sizes of the chicken ramen and katsu. Both delicious meals, came to £10 each including a soft drink. Would recommend and return.

Went for a quick lunch after shopping, ended up having the gyoza and the chicken cats with rice! Portion was really good and the food was absolutely delicious! Service was quick and staff are extremely friendly and professional. Will definitely visit again!

First of all, no complaints about the serving staff who were absolutely fine.

Very friendly place with tasty food and extremely quick service...they started cooking before we finished paying! Chicken katsu is huge and authentic so great value for money. Gyoza are also really good. Restaurant is clean and spacious.

Visited for lunch during March and was pleasantly surprised. Me and my partner love Japanese food and although it wasn't the best bowl of ramen we've had it certainly hit the spot. Reading previous reviews it's almost comical that people claim it is overpriced as the portions were huge.

Menu is quite small and limited, however if you like ramens and noodle type dishes this place is worth a try. Open plan kitchen, quite small inside more like a canteen.very clean and service is fast and friendly. Portion size is great and food is very tasty. Will be back to try the katsu curry.

My sister and I visited Naked Noodle on the second day of opening. We were persuaded to go in by the huge poster in the window claiming 50% off the entire menu, including drinks!

Very happy. Went for beef ramen and it was delicious and authentic. Been to all the other noodle places around and this was the best actual ramen I've had. Make sure you try the soft boiled egg! Staaf is also very nice and friendly.

There are only 8 dishes on the main menu and only one plain boring fried veggie noodle option and no seafood option!
