Mykonos at the Drift in Northumberland

Had a fab meal here ,was recommended by a friend who lives nearby and as we were using her caravan just up the road decided to give it a try. Having been back from kos only 2 weeks I can say the food was better than some I had while there. Will definitely be back next year when we visit .

Oh wow, loved it had the mixed plates. Loads of food really good. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. I wish we were nearer but will definitely be back.

Delighted that we tried this lovely restaurant. The Greek food was superb and very authentic. The service from the lunchtime waitress was excellent - courteous, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend it, great flavours, very good portions, great value for the high quality ingredients and excellent customer service. We will definitely return soon.

Was here a couple of weeks ago, great food and service, the marque is plain but comfortable. Good value with decent sized portions and reasonable prices. What is even better is that whilst dogs are allowed in the outside space and possibly in the cafe, they are not allowed in the marque, so no barking, whining or tripping over them.

Delightful dining experience at Mykonos last night- you’d think you were in Greece, authentic wines, flavours and foods. We started with courgette fritters which were lovely ( pity there wasn’t 4 as I struggle with odd numbers when sharing 😂). The main was chicken souvlaki which I had a salad with rather than chips . The other plate on the table had chips on which were the perfect accompaniment and I pinch a few ! Tasty, robust wine, super table service from waitresses. Will definitely be back!

Classing myself as a little Greek as my father lives there I was so looking forward to some fabulous Greek food… Mega disappointed ☹️ Food just average to say the least , no charing or colour on the bland souvlakis. Meatballs were just that…. Two dry meatballs with not even so much as a little dip to moisten. Desert was the absolute hoot! .. two inch squares of orange cake for £8.50😳🙄 It was that disgraceful my company couldn’t stop laughing! The response I got about the cake was a bigger laugh… so they know it’s disgraceful and still serve and charge for it🫣🤬 Definitely would not recommend… didn’t at all represent Greek cuisine and none of my Greek friends would serve such overpriced rubbish! ( actually howled when I showed them photos )
