Excellent restaurant serving good authentic Indian street food. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Mohan who waited on us was extremely helpful and pleasant. Will certainly be back again soon.

First time visit after reading the excellent reviews, and can see why it’s rated so highly. Excellent service from Beckie and her team, food was gorgeous and restaurant has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We will certainly be returning and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who has never been before.

Adi served us and was a fabulous waitress, really attentive and so bubbly! The food was delicious and there was so much of it. We opted for the street food dish and curry for £15, as well as, sides, naan breads and dessert. Trust me the dessert it worth it!

Authentic Indian Street food. We all had a starter and main and sampled each others dishes. The food was amazing couldn’t pick between them. Ample amounts we could not eat a desert. The staff are very polite helpful and friendly. Very attentive without being over board. The decor is simple but relaxing and spaciouse. The food and service are second to none. This is the third time I have visited and I am never disappointed. Lakh served us as we went for my daughter's leaving as she off back to Uni. Very polite courteous and nothing is too much trouble. Food is of a high quality and the portions are great. If you want a very relaxing,great food and service with lovely surroundings then be sure to pop into My Delhi. Lakh is a credit to My Delhi. Thank you. Will definitely be back.

We visited My Delhi for bottomless curry to celebrate our anniversary. Such exceptional food and wonderful staff who were incredibly attentive to our needs - particularly Morgan. This wasn’t our first visit to My Delhi and certainly won’t be our last. We can’t wait to come back soon.

Excellent food, amazing ambiance, great taste , very friendly and polite staff. We been served by Sahil, Lakh and Nikhil. After living in North East for 1 n half year .. I was communicating in Hindi and Gujarati language. I am so happy that I came here for Dinner. We ordered many different things but I would definitely recommend ghobhi Manchurian, ch illi chicken, paneer butter masala and biryani. Naan was very soft and perfectly cooked. I am so happy to taste such a great food. Definitely coming back for more.

4 of us went here for cocktails and food @ £35 per head and it was so worth it we hardly finished one and guy (very pleasant i might add) came over asking what we would like next as a massive indian food lover the food we had was exceptional waiters were really friendly. Will 100% be returning.

What a fabulous restaurant! We ordered drinks and were asked if we'd like poppadoms with them, we said yes and were so grateful we did. The most amazing range of fabulous pickles were on the pickle tray, I was tempted to lick their lovely silver pots and spoons. The Delhi Wala Grill and Punjabi Bhaba Chicken and Naan which we shared were superb also. If you want to eat after 5pm at the weekend book. But we love Indian food and this was some of the very best. It was also very cheap compared to our home city's (Lincoln) prices. We strongly recommend.

The food here was incredible and it is a fair price HOWEVER the only gripe I had is the amount of meat. Our kids had the same amount of meat as the adults. So if you’re ordering the butter chicken you may aswell get the kids one. Regardless I would return because the service and food was amazing!

Visited for the first time today due to a recommendation on FB yesterday. Absolutely mouth watering food, I have never had an Indian meal this good before. Service was outstanding and attentive, the interior and dining experience was 💯 and pricing was fair, definitely recommend this beautiful place will be returning in the future without a doubt.

Me and my partner ate here a few months back. The food was amazing, Indian style tapas and street food theme. The service was fantastic also I would highly recommend this if you are looking for an Indian with a twist.

Have visited the Newcastle branch many times and absolutely love it, so visited while over in Sunderland. Food tasted equally as good (however I think the portion sizes were marginally smaller, only 5 bits of paneer). A beer was also given to the designated driver who’d asked for a shandy! Otherwise, nice visit

We have visited the Newcastle restaurant a few times & as we were at a gig in Sunderland and read that they also have a My Delhi we had to visit. We were not disappointed the food & service was beautiful. The decor is really good and the street noise in the toilets make it feel really authentic. We will be back when next in Sunderland the staff certainly know how to make you feel welcome Thank You.

Fabulous food and service. A different slant on Indian food. So much flavour in the food. There's even dishes that have a hint of Thai. Really nice change to standard Indian restaurants. The papadams are you die for, with really unusual dips. Try them !

Outstanding food, with outstanding service. Fabulous atmosphere. Been twice now and planning my next visit. Kozi curry is Devine off the menu, we ordered loads of the little plates too and just shared. The cocktail special was possibly the best cocktail I have ever tried. The Emperors rose, vodka with lychee and rose and cardamom syrup.

Can’t believe we haven’t been to this Sunderland Indian Streetery before. Absolutely fabulous, the decor is fantastic complete with “windows” looking out to Delhi street scenes. The staff are so friendly and helpful and as for the food - delicious. The Punjabi Dhaba Chicken curry was one of the best we’ve tasted and as for the Delhi Wala Grill - both the lamb a was nd chicken were so tender. Even the pappadam dips were a cut above with 2 of them being chef special secrets. Definately recommend 👍

Bottomless brunch with the girls, omg this place is unreal. We tried every cocktail on the menu all absolutely beautiful my favorite was the zombie. The food was amazing so tasty I would recommend the butter chicken fondue. The guy who looked after us was Gurav he was so lovely and the drink and food he recommended was my favorites. I even got an extra drink after our time was up from the lady behind the bar with it being my birthday so kind. We will definitely be back again soon thank you.

I have fancied this restaurant for a while, finally went today for late lunch and birthday treat, we ordered starters all absolutely gorgeous, the main meals were just as delicious. The place is so relaxing the staff who dealt with us today were professional but very helpful when we asked about the dishes. Wow this restaurant blows my taste buds out of the window! Fresh, and of so healthy! Vibrant, frangrant, spicy! Melt in the mouth delicious! We came to the NE of England for a weekend away and boy I am so pleased we did. We strolled in off the street without a booking and were immediately accommodated despite the fact the restaurant was busy. We immediately booked for the following day. The order was quick to arrive. Drinks were great. I was totally unprepared for this experience. I literally cannot shout any louder about how fantastic this place is. If I were local I would go out of my way to support this business. It feels like home and yet I have never been to Delhi. Everyone working here just oozes passion for their local delicacy. The waiters took time to tell us about the history of the dishes they ordered. I wish them success now and in the future. Thank you My Delhi for this experience.

Great experience at My Delhi, Sunderland last night. Four of us out to celebrate my son's birthday and not disappointed. First time visiting and certainly not your typical Indian restaurant, Fresh idea's on the menu, great buzz within the restaurant and well looked after with service throughout the meal. We all picked different options on the menu, with all very pleased with great tasting meals. (Railway Lamb (my choice) was fantastic) Will definitely be back, and already talking to friends about re-visiting very soon. Thanks for a great evening and a great experience.

My daughter and I visited this place for late lunch after reading the great reviews. The place definitely lives up to its reputation. The restaurant is welcoming and clean. The staff were lovely and the food and cocktails were fantastic. There are good vegan and vegetarian options too. We were served by a lovely waiter called Nikhill and we couldn’t fault the service. I’d highly recommend and will be returning to the restaurant in the near future.

If you want a different experience at an Indian restaurant, then I would recommend My Delhi, Sunderland. You can get your normal Indian curry, rice and naan bread but we went for the Street Plates (tapas size) which were really good value and very tasty....
