Beautiful hotel in a large old stone built house. It felt extremely posh and reminded me of Gleneagles. Prices were very reasonable for what you got. Spacious rooms, good attention to detail. Excellent food. Lovely staff.

I loved this castle stay. Room was spacious and clean. Location was just amazing. They had hairy coos, if you want to pet them don't go in search of anywhere else. You can ask in the breakfast area to give veggies scraps for the coo and you can feed n pet them. They are cute. Loved the enchanted forest walk as well.

Simply disappointing!!! All the photos on their site where Booking suggests that we are going to stay in a magnificent castle hotel (which was my dream) What a disappointment to arrive there and have the receptionist tell us where to go 🤐 In the back building behind the castle with the beggars please.... Horrible room the photos will be talked about if I manage to post them, we searched in the photos they publish but in no case do they show this part there Rotten window not dusted, cracked, damaged and ugly furniture (Ikea from the 70s), the scratched door, the disgusting stained carpet, the view of the dump of the green space up to the magazine which I believe was taken there floats from Scotland on the corner of the nose but it doesn't matter that they left it to dry on the coffee table 🥴, the TV has wires that stick out halfway in paint and are clearly visible, the radiator from the 70s-80s too The neighbors we hear talking and washing Anyway, I was expecting a nice Highlander stay and I was really disappointed!!!!!!!! Will never come back and I wouldn't be embarrassed to say that it's really rotten, they're scammers because for €183 per night it's cheap for the local stables if I had known I would have taken a room with a local

Stunning view of the lake The salmon was tender and oily. Not tasty The Indian dishes were spicy even though I was told they weren't. The tomato soup was delicious Not worth the price

I can’t see any pictures of freshly baked fruit scones in your picture gallery. Can you confirm you sell them please? Also, where exactly are the products you sell in Union Street baked and prepared?

Stayed for over 4 months while working in the area. Can't fault the staff, all very friendly and nothing to much trouble. Rooms always spotless, plenty of car parking. Would recommend to anyone.

I missed the ferry to Orkney and had to kick my heels back in Thurso for the day. Olive was my main haunt and it’s got an INCREDIBLE oat milk latte if you’re of that persuasion… the taste of the coffee beans is also very luxurious, it’s a great cafe to randomly stumble into while getting soaked by rain. I also got the millionaire shortbread, and like the latte it did not disappoint! The cafe is warm and bright and when I walked in Bowie was playing. 10/10 get the oat milk latte it’s well priced for better oat milk than you’re likely to find in the city.
