This is a really lovely chip shop I was visiting Birmingham with my daughter from the isle of wight and was staying at the holiday inn hotel we took a walk up to the chip shop and ordered our food. The portions were a hood size and the food was really delicious will be visiting again in September and will be using this place again

Did a quick U turn as I drove past, nice bright looking shop thought it was worth a visit... Just had chips (£3) but really impressed, great flavour, good portion size and cooked perfectly... They went down a treat !! Good service and nice clean bright shop... This is a Great place and will definitely visit again when passing 👍

Food is very good , lovely chips .

i sent my husband to get fish and chips as i am pregnant and was craving fluffy chips and fresh fish. we paid 10.90 . when he got home and he opened the chips were all dark brown/orange and luke warm like they had been cooked hours ago. the fish was overcooked and hard. the batter was had you coule crack a tooth. we could have paid 2.50 at our local shop and enjoyed the food more/ wont be going back

The chips looked and tasted over cooked. The fish had been battered at least twice. I took 3 bites of the fish then threw the rest away. The fish stank.

The owner was really rude towards me. He was giving really bad attitude. I'm came from italy and I wanted to Try british fish and chips, I asked for sparkling water. The person behind the counter was extremely horrible towards me. Treated me so badly I had to leave the shop. That was worst experience I ever received from someone like that. I came to visit Birmingham for the first time. I don't speak English very well, I wanted some help. Instead the person was rude overall. Disappointing

Be careful the doner meat is really bad my other half said you not going to like it. Even having to pay well over normal chippy prices it really was bad. Weather it was on the turn when I brought it but I didn't want to waste food and just ate it. Apart from that lovely service.

Ordered food for collection Saturday night, and the chips were dry with no salt and vinegar, the kebab meat was shrivelled up and hard, absolutey rubbish and will not use again.

The haddock is so tasty gets it with chips n curry sauce a little expensive but there's enough for 2 to share

I brought small bag of chips. seems they was made yesterday. very hard dry, I went back to complain to the manager.. keep in mind his prices are very high. instead of apologising to me has a customer. he started complaining about how expensive are the potatoes. what's price of potatoes got to do with quality of food cooked, then don't serve to the public. I even mentioned my dad once had a chip shop, but never did he serve bad quality food to any of his customers. I also explained how we has a IT company take pride and joy in our customers. never ever let them down. I treat them with respect and honesty, never got one complained in 23 years. but this guys was having none of it, said he is not making any money and wants to put the price up even higher. when his fish and chips are £10.50 per person. you can't charge someone for rubbish. Most cyprus ownership are good hard working, this guy is something else. He told me to cook at home. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP AT ALL.

Thought was getting a fresh cooked mini fish,but i think young girl gave me older piece that had Too thick a batter,not great.

I was looking forward to what I call proper fish and chips ... It's expensive by others people prices but use to value a wait of 10 minutes as everything came fresh , excellent and delicious 😋 But the first time ever had fish and chips from here and it was pre cooked and it never had no taste now I am not casting aspersions here but I will just say that I know what Cod tastes like ....I paid alot of money for this and it all ended up in the bin... personally it could be one off but never experienced it here before .. But for me too expensive to try again...

Can't ever go wrong at Mustafas, always good food always made welcome on our visits back north. Would heartily recommend this jewel in the west mids .

I go here most Fridays to get the workers lunch which varies but the mixed kebab meat and chips is a bargain at today's prices and extremely tasty. With crucials sauces I personally think it is one of the best around and the chips are always cooked superbly.

Had to remortgage the house for 2 kebab burgers and 2 chips! Double the price of other local chip shops

I go to mustafas all the time but the last few times I’ve been very disappointed especially with the fish I always order mini fish cone of chips and curry sauce the last few times I have thrown away the fish as it is not cid or haddock the taste is awful I’ll not be going there again shame as it was somewhere I’d recommend but not now

Fish was very tender but the chips appeared to be cooked with hydrogenated fat and dried up tasting like paper otherwise above average for fish and chips with decent helpings.

Has gone downhill. Service poor with kids working there. Quality of food has gone down drastically. The fish seems be off.

Lamb kebab was nicely cooked and not too oily.Curry sauce was thick and very tasty. Fish was not too oily and the chips were just right. Overall, very satisfying.

Used to be good. Now the large fish is over priced. They don’t seem to use cod or haddock anymore. Instead they use the cheap option, pangash fish. Mainly batter. Quality has nose dived. Avoid.

VERY disappointed today with Mustafas. Appreciate they have probably got new staff..but surely they should get adequate training before being able serve. The food I purchased today was terrible. Crazily small portion (I go Mustafas all the time and never have I been given a small portion like this). I asked the child serving me to put extra salt and vinegar which he did not do either. Bland food. Horrendous service. Definatley my last trip to Mustafas. AVOID.

Terrible. £7.20. Burnt bun..About 4-5 slices of donner meat, several chips and a drink. Overpriced and terrible portion… wth?? I feel cheated!

Kebab is overpriced for how much you get in it and sometimes you get the chunky hard bits in it. Not worth it.

Popped in for some chips on my walk from Walsall to Scott Arms. Best chips I've had in years. Would definitely recommend them. The Conway of chips would be plenty for 2 people. Yesterday I asked for half the amount and it was just enough for me.

After a couple of years not getting any from Mustafa, had our usual fish and chips and were not disappointed. Really tasty and big portion.

If you're on a diet, go elsewhere! A bag of chips from this place will really fill you up! Great food and service! 😁

A northerner living in London. Went twice yesterday and I'm a chippy critic. Hope to see them again. Just of junc 7 of M6. Why go to the motorway services?

It's a good chip shop: the quality is reliable and value for money is good. There seems to be a steady flow of business and sometimes queues at peak times. Therefore there is some pre-cooked fish which normally is fine (but if it's been there a while it can be a bit dry, which is probably unavoidable) however I find fish is often cooked to order and it is good. Chips are regularly cooked, good quality and the portions are generous. Full range of other items including two or three types of kebab meat and southern fried chicken.

Lumpy curry sauce, cold peas, hard chips and fish tasted like it was from lunchtime. Very poor

This is my local chippy and I always look forward to visiting. There is a huge range of food from fish and chips to kebabs. All wonderfully cooked. Friendly service as well.

When your hungry and you stop off for fish and chips, your just dying to tuck in. These were not good, stale and dry fish with really hard batter. Chips were also very hard and you could taste the grease. Scrag end chips. Vile and waste of money

I had chicken and chips which was damn tasty. There were three different types of kebab available as well as the usual chippy fayre. All reasonably priced. Will return.
