Never will I have any kind of meal from this place the take your money and don't anything about the service I tried to complain about delivery they didn't want to know

Driver was lovely. Haddock, chips, scallops and sauces all amazing. Didn't get my 2 cans of coke though :( Apart from that brilliant :)

Absolutely amazing! I had the new loaded doner and chips it was again amazing, I was tempted to go large as I thought it might be a small portion but it's was a good size I couldn't finish it all! Will definitely order again!! 🔥🔥🔥

***** DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME**** Two orders wrong on two occasions. Since staff have changed, the service is really poor. Orders completely wrong, was told to bring it all back, I photographed the food in the bag, the lady replaced the food with the wrong curry sauce again, I called and she admitted her error but then tried to say I didn't return the bag of chips, then changed her words and said almost all the chips have been eaten, I said that was the portion I received. Owner called me, said next time you go in, they know to give you same on him, went today and surprise and surprise they didn't know and then on the phone was saying completely different to me, the communication within the staff, manager is very poor. As a business owner sometimes you have to hold your hands high and say sorry for the error especially when it's an error three times and take responsibility to keep customers happy not here, they blaim customer for their mistakes. The owner even said to me the staff has recently lost her husband and begged for her job back and had mental health issues at the moment, and then wonder why customers are complaining. Was good before, now the worst service in the area.

Haven't been to Stone Cross for over 30 years , up in the area for a sort of holiday, sometimes used to work down the road ( it's changed a lot ) , so I was curious having seen YouTube reviews . Originally from Oldbury but moved south many years ago , but up seeing friends . Couldn't believe £4.30 I think for a small fish and chips , you pay over £3 just for chips on SE coast now . Unbelievable.....and good food here too . Well done BCC . Shame I'm not used to the accent any more despite being Brummie myself , and yes I know this is the black country . Southerners don't understand orange chips 😁😁😁😁, I never used to give it any thought when I lived here , it was how it was .

Was not delivered! A rude driver who blantantly refused to come to door when I have a one year old here & gave clear instructions where to come. Will not be using Just Eat again, used to be reliable but drivers these days are lazy and just cannot be bothered!! Will not recommend to anyone either.

Gone really downhill Battered chips rock hard, think they had been sitting around for ages Kebab also dry and rock hard but the worst part is the atmosphere and the attitude of the staff No manners, no thank you and the tutting and puffing was uncalled for

Amazing taste food so fresh and cooked well chicken kebabs really nice and juicy and fresh chips and fish also as good, great staff great prices well worth every penny.

Kabab is cold and like it’s been kept in a pan for a good few hours staff are normally ok but today was like going to a cemetery if you have no customer service don’t be in the industry

Ordered on Just Eat. Waited nearly 2hrs for my food and it wasn't even on it's way to be delivered yet. Ended up cancelling

Order received over an hour later that the time specified. Rang the resteraunt to be told the driver had stole the food and it’s not their problem. Finally results in Ned food being sent out by a different driver. Second time having issues ordering from Black Country chippy stone cross. Highly doubt we’ll order from here again!

I ordered a large mixed meat and chips last week and when it arrived the kebab was like plastic and my can of coke didn’t arrive. I was promised by a lady called Trish next time I order I’ll receive a fresh one free of charge . So I ordered again today a large fish and chips and requested my free meal. It arrived with no large fish and no can of coke. Embarrassing

Absolutely disgusted and put off having Black Country chippy on stonecross. I asked for mixed meat with salad and mayo and it came with a hair🤮🤮 what a complete waste of money!! I know it’s definitely not my hair because my hair isn’t blonde/silver.

New staff at the place and the portion they giving are so tiny compared to usual. I been going to this place to e past 10 years but now I have to rethink. New staff picks and choose who they will be friendly with and who not to. And I noticed if they friendly with the customer they give them bigger portions and they go out their way asking if they need tissue fork etc. as soo n my turn came the person face was downwards . Most terrible service I had. Please restoring new staff with portion sizes and to be friendly with every customer. Or get new staff

ordered mixed kebab meat through a delivery app, portion was huge for the price, chips and meat were very nice, definitely order again

with our order we ordered pot gravy, this was like jelly, not impressed

Order from Black Country chippy regularly but the food tonight was vile. After three mouth fulls ( jumbo fish and chips) I couldn’t carry on and put it in the bin partner also complained their meat and chips was stone cold with a very little amount of salad and sauce. Not very good service considering how pricey they are!

Ordered the saver kebab which on the site says includes salad, however I didn’t get any - and this is the second time this has happened. Cod is very small and the curry sauce was too thick. Quite disappointed with this order.

Absolutely the worst chippy in the Black Country! The Staff are ignorant and are more interested in gossiping with the customers and Uber eats drivers than actually serving them. The mixed donner meat and chips was like eating a partially alive hedgehog! Chicken meat was full of fat and grissle, lamb meat was cold and tasted completely of salt! Really was the worst takeaway and so much better places in the Wedensbury & West Brom region. Avoid this overpriced place if you want something tasty and value for money......the food is poor quality and tastes awful, also the staff are a bunch of ignorant retards who prefer to stand and gossip than actually serve customers!

didn't really enjoy the kebab meat it was dry as tho it was either cut off and put in a bimary or it was dry straight off the split if so they should of cut off the top layer and given fresh from underneath the chips was really enjoyable so wasn't a total loss

I always enjoy my fish and chips from your shop it was nice and hot I enjoyed it because today was a hard day doing housework. And this was the best way to end my day delicious and a nice portion fish was mouthwatering. Many thanks will be again.

Portion sizes absolutely ridiculous all batter no fish inside large fish more like a mini ...chips greasy as hell the box they came in was damp with grease ...asked for salt n vinegar they didn't even put that on ...only thing nice was the curry sauce...and why carnt they do plain chips ? Not everyone wants orange or battered chips you should have a choice

Been a loyal customer here for years. Ordered for the first time in a while today, portions shrunk, nowhere near as tasty and chips were cold. For £19 for x2 battered sausage & chips. Won’t be ordering again.

the loaded chips the cheese sauce no flavour and did not realise you had to add jalapeños separate as picture shows them with them on.

Won't go here again. Chips taste like they're from last week. The girl who served us had an iq in the single figures, didn't understand the order of chips... And they've blocked half the shop off for delivery drivers so customers have to wait outside in the cold which is just rude tbh

Used to be great but now they prioritise online/just eat orders over customers who come in. Stood for 20mins with no communication, whilst staff focused on working through the Just Eat orders. Ended up walking out. Not worth waiting and being ignored for.

Customer service is shocking! Putting the phone down on people when they ring to say that the order they placed was not the correct one that was delivered. Refused to acknowledge their mistake and slams the phone down.

Came from Stoke-on-Trent with my partner who is originally from Wallsall as he wanted me to try orange chips. The only bad thing I have to say is that I am extremely upset that I cannot get these local to me! There was a young girl serving us and she was lovely and very polite, definitely served us with a smile...Will be coming back here again

After already waiting 15 mins to be served server announced if anyone wants meat products it was going to be another 20 mins as there were already too many meat products on order through just eat! Think you need to reconsider how you are going to prioritise orders. You can’t expect customers to wait while you just keep accepting more and more online orders. Just two staff working to get both face to face and online orders out is poor.

Came here from Tipton black country chippy because they kept giving burnt kebabs. Came to the stone cross black country chippy they left the kebab to burn and gave that part. I ordered two large kebabs and two large, which I normally split half with my other half. There were a decent amount in one in the other one was more like a cone of chips. Girl stood there and had to be told to serve me. Wont be going back there anymore.

Regular customers of Black Country Chippie but todays food paid nearly 25 quid for pie chips and peas and a box of diner meat on its own just under 10 quid well half a box not even worth a £5 !!!! And a pot of nachos sauce and even that came in a large pot and was only a quarter full and cost £3.60 absolutely disgusting with today’s food order talk about half measures that’s the understatement
