Food is fantastic from here. The battered chips are legendary.

Absolutely abysmal service again from this place and staff should be sacked for their response to customers , they dont care about food sevice or customers

I ordered fish chips and curry sauce at over 12 pound...cold chips rock solid more batter than chips ..i ordered a curry sauce for kebab and chips the curry sauce was 3.60 no more than 2 tablespoons and like water dusgusting.. free sausage..no..3.60

I’m always happy with the food but today I’m a bit disappointed. Food was barely warm and it tasted like it was cooked yesterday.

Don’t go here cause the food isn’t that nice but usual place was closed, but they charging to much for their dead food about prices went up march, I don’t mind paying it if the food was good but no way I’m a paying that there.

Amazing portion sizes and despite being around 15 mins away, food was still piping hot! All boxed up and remained the best kind of cripsy/battered. Will be visiting again, new fave chippy!

Pastry on top of the pie was a bit hard but otherwise the food was lovely and hot.

The delivery driver was quite aggressive to my 91 year old mother. I place these orders for her & give her the delivery code but he kept asking what was in the delivery & her name & getting her very agitated & upset this has happened on numerous occasions now. What is the point of a delivery code if he doesn’t ask for it.

The delivery was fast, the driver was polite. The chips are delicious and big portions.

Cheese and onion pastie was rock hard couldn't even cut it with a knife. Will not be ordering again

My cod looked grey when I bite into it and it didn't taste like cod at all and look how flat it is yes never using them again £13.84 from just eat and refund denied

we ordered at 6.15pm and delivery time was given at 6.50pm .They adjusted the delivery time from above to 720pm,7.25.730.7.35pm. when it finally arrived at 7.40pm the order hadn't been followed as there wasn't any salt/vinegar on any meal which we had specifically asked for.

Was informed food would be delivered around 6.30pm but it didn't arrive until 7.00pm.

Really feel let down with the food with burned chicken both kebab and chicken was hard not eatable so chucked away and order scallop was full off salt when said to the member of staff not too much.

hardly any fish. for £13 I would expect a decent fish but it's like a mini fish. All batter with a few flakes of fish.

Chips was so greasy and heavily battered, no soft chips they was just hard, full of grease and just really not nice, had to scrape them off our meal to eat our other thing, such a let down as normally is lovely but tonight really put us off

Banging food if the potion you ask for is right , not so keen on the customer service from one paticular lady who looks like she's been fried longer than the chips , disrespecting autistic people must be her speciality, I've had more respect from a dog . I hope I don't find any falses in me food !

over 90 mins for an order. Arrived and delivery driver said he was waiting over 30 minutes for food. Arrived and cold given small amount back. Shocking avoid

I had a chicken kabab meat and chips tonight and as you can see from the photo the meat was very burnt. When I reported this by phone to the staff they did offer a replacement. My concern was that they felt it ok to send out burnt meat to eat knowing that it was burnt. When I challenged them over this they said it’s normal for the first cut to be burnt. I find this ridicules as an excuse and totally un acceptable. I usually have food from here but won’t be returning now.

The chippy and delivery guy awesome good being don’t say much because you all know it’s very good place.

I have been ordering there for a few months now, the quality of the food is excellent, what I have a problem with is the time it takes to be delivered. When placing an order the waiting time is about an hour but with time it increases sometimes even to 2 hours

The order unfortunately was badly incorrect, also missing two items. Better like battered chips because you’re getting them even when you want normal chips. A large kebab and chips turns out to be small kebab with battered chips. fish was okay and so was the large sausage, the rest was terrible and spoiled the evening.

Long time to come and the ETA changed several times but the food was very hot and good quality.

Order was never delivered! No Just Eat driver arrived to collect and deliver offer. I need refund!

First time trying and it was good.

The batter chips was nice warm and crispy the dinner meat was beautiful flavoured and the chicken. The sauce was distributed evenly would definitely order from you again. The delivery driver was lovely and on time.

Rude, ignorant and clueless. I've seen better customer service from a squirrel. I would love to buy the place and then hand the 4 woman there p45 on the same day. Sack the lot of them. Useless. No rush . No interest. Customers walking out. Ignoring delivery drivers. Will never go back.

came cold,,half soaked delivery driver took 25 mins to deliver a 2 min journey , I'm done with just eat now,,amazon n just eat are appalling .. however I know n this is a fact,,black country chippy is one of the best fir this type of food, shame about delivery service, I'll not be using them again unfortunately

Worst chippy I have ever come across ask for new batter and chips fresh talked to the fryer to fry the sausages first due to them being frozen before they battered it and they gave me literally half cooked sausages smell like ass taste just as bad never again.

I order on the uber app to get my food delivered, I have doner meat & chips with hot chilli sauce and mayo & a scollop on the side. The scollop was fresh, soft & tasty & my doner meat & chips was the perfect portion and tasted so good.

Ordered from here for about 5 years, had loaded box last time which was lovely but I added peri salt this time and omg it tastes fishy!! Couldn’t eat it, was vile! My husband even said it’s the worst kebab he’s had from them! Whoever is working tonight should be sacked!

I love donner from this shop but always when i cam for doner 30-40-60 min wait fukin hell the ladies in this shop toaday again am here nd 40 pound size doner in shop nd still said we got no donner am working 5 year in chip shop they think we are iddot please the shop owner you need to check

Very good food at a very good price. We had two menus of burgers and fries for £5.99. In addition to this, they have a wide variety of sauces. Even though we had to wait 20 minutes, it was well worth it.

I livee in London but when I come home to see my parents always order from here. Bham has got great kebab shops but this place is one of the best places I have ever ordered from. The orange chips are incredible and very rare these days the curry sauce thick and tasty and the mixed kebab so flavourful and not greasy at all. can't wait to order again!

Fish and chips were dlicious but waited in shop for collection and not acknowledged once by staff. After waiting 10 minutes after advised collection time I queried where my order was and staff then started preparing it.

After a batch of poor orders I’d initially stopped using these… but recently decided on 2nd chance, being pleasantly suprised to find things had improved, overall food quality & preparation - great 10/10 👍🏼 Unfortunately… I can not say the same about tonight’s order, chips were absolutely sodden with grease… being so bad they soaked through two sheets of wrapping along with the bottom of a pretty sturdy paper delivery bag… will not be ordering again.

Just tried the Black Country speciality of orange (battered) chips for the first time. Not only were they delicious, they were beautifully fresh chips served piping hot - and a generous tray full for only £3.20 is a bargain. My taste buds thank you even if I have just shaved a few minutes off my life expectancy 😜
