Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! As soon as I walked in this evening and asked for a table for one (restaurant was empty at this point), the stroppy guy said there’s no space as a big group are coming… it was his tone and manner he needs to work on! I then chose to get a take away & stood in the takeaway section having a few bits of my noodle & he came over, so rude & abrupt saying I couldn’t even stand in the takeaway section and eat. So ridiculous. The food itself was ok… nothing special. That guy needs to learn some manners & how to treat his customers.

We ate inside, didn’t have to wait long for food to come and food was amazing, loads flavour. Huge portions. Staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome, we have a 18 month old and they was great with her! Will be back again.

Great food, Great service, Fair prices. Some of the best Chinese food ever. Order the roast duck fried rice, it was amazing

Had a takeaway from here over the weekend and all food was dreadful. After eating my partner and i have been very ill from the food! We should have read lots of other reviews which also say this! CHINA KITCHEN MUCH BETTER, AVOID MUST GO!!!

Excellent Chinese food... very tasty, good helpings, great service. We really enjoyed our visit; the staff were extremely helpful... particularly ensuring we didn't over-order! The starters were divine... and the main meal (we ordered chicken, pork and duck) was immensely tasty, hot and speedily delivered to table. We visited just after Chinese New Year; were made most welcome; and would hugely recommend this restaurant.

Saturday we had big order with you my wife picked it up for 2 birthday's at Binton club even Sara how runs the club and all of us it was spot on everyone s food brilliant very big thank you .for service well done .

Amazing location and food, had a great time, was out favourite take away as children. Has since been taken over and did not let us down, big birthday celebration and did not phase the lovely staff.

I am disabled and use a scooter and was a little apprehensive going in without a booking. The lady came to the door and said we should be able to get in and moved a few things to help me. It was quiet there as it was very early around 5pm ish. We got to the back of the restaurant and I was asked which seat would be best for me and I chose one in the corner. The lady gave us our menus and got us drinks quickly and took our order. The food came very quickly and looked so fresh and tasted absolutely amazing! I have not had a Chinese so nice in years! We were just visiting Stratford for the weekend but if we ever come back I would definitely visit again! We would highly recommend!! Polite, friendly staff who who were very helpful to me!

This quaint restaurant right beside the parking lot surprised us indeed. It did not look like the ordinary Chinese restaurant. Decor was not a bit Asian. It was clean and homey. Service was excellent, and food was good! One of our best dine in experience in our land tour! (And I really wonder about the bad reviews. Was there a makeover?!?)

Firstly when you call to make your order you have hope you don’t get the stroppy members of staff whom I believe to be the family members, hence why I’m not phoning in my complaint, tried before they put the phone down on you. Then they’re so not fourth coming nor helpful when explaining the different meals. My husband has his favourite meal most every other week, I don’t normally but this time I thought I’d try something different but I like spicy food and asked if they oil hype it up from the picture of two chillis to three, to be told “no” it is what it is “ I said does it come with rice she said no so I said I’d better have some then she made that choice for me told me the price took my number and put the phone down. I was 10 minutes into my china garden special with garlic & chilli, as the menu says it comes with a mixture of beef, king prawns, pork, prawns & chicken in a a Szechuan sauce ! I don’t know what I was given but each item was heavily fried but I couldn’t determine which animal any of my pieces came from & definitely no sauce ! My dear husband said as I collected his plate “ darling that wasn’t very nice “! I had to say I know my love mine went into the bin. The only part of mine that was fresh was the added strips of onion and peppers. Well must go that was the last time I spend any money with you. I’ll leave that up to anyone else who wants to be badly treated on the telephone and to receive poor quality & representation of Chinese food.

Absolutely terrible, seriously not exaggerating. Eaten in more than enough Chinese restaurants in my time, everything tasted so bland.Every mouthful I thought I can just taste water!

Awful experience. I'm surprised the place is even still running. Disgusting smelly area outside - the bins are right by the outdoor restaurant area and could smell everything. Stagnant water in the plant pots made us almost sick. We decided to move to the restaurant inside that was stuffy. We finally got greeted by a lady host. Who wasn't even aware we were there. We got served diet Pepsi even though we asked for full fat. When the food arrived - the starters were OK. Main was just a disaster. Undercooked chow main with no sauce at all. Kung po chicken was a few strips of boiled chicken in sweet and sour sauce. It did not resemble anything of Kung po. We have left the whole meal assuming the lady would ask if everything was OK. But all we got "are you finished" so we mentioned that the chow main was undercooked to which we got a reply " this is how it's cooked". If that is the case no wonder why the restaurant was empty. We was expected to pay for the whole meal not even offered to take the chow main of that we did not touch. If I could score a 0 I would. Stay away from this place unless you wish to get some kind of illness.

Thus was, without doubt, the worst Chinese take away I’ve ever had. I uttered a vegetable chow mein. It I hadn’t have been hungry I would not have eaten it,. Vegetables? …, hardly a handful of hard peas, a few slices of hard onion and red pepper. That’s about it. No baby corn. No mange tout. No mushroom. I felt they’d just forgotten to add things. I’ll cook my own next time. £7!!!

Despite some terrible reviews I thought I would give this place a go for takeaway delivery; because I am tired of being disappointed with the other Chinese takeaways in the town. It's not a Warwick Paw Paw but it is a good old fashioned UK Chinese, good quality, plentiful - and as fresh as a Chinese takeaway can be, Give it a go - from my experience it is more of a 4 star review then what is currently showing as it's rating.

The most rude reception I have ever received. I called and politely asked if they offer take out for collection, the gentleman responded ‘yes we offer delivery and collection so make your mind up before you call’. I was taken a back. More so that he slammed the phone down, didn’t successfully disconnect and was then shouting to his other staff ‘f**k*** hell’ on repeat. Very strange, would be concerned about even entering the premises. Can’t comment on the food as I would not call back and order or recommend anybody did.

Just had a take away Chicken Omelette. Burnt omelette, no onions in omelette, chips burnt. Tried to rip me off for £3.80 for onions in gravy? Gravy? Hit and miss, sometimes OK. No point complaining was offered a free takeaway last time which they didn't...

We have been using Must Go for a few years now and they are really good. They are very friendly and efficient and the food is always great! We especially love the "extra veg" portions which is a pot luck of whatever veg is going...

Pedimos una comida para llevar y algo de eso no era comestible. Los rollitos de primavera eran demasiado cocidos, muy grasoso, picante y uno se había dividido. No deberías darle comida como esta a un cliente para llevar; debe ser binned. La salsa satay tenía la consistencia de mucosidad y era muy sosa como el pollo. Incluso la sopa de maíz dulce de pollo no tenía sabor. Un derroche de dinero y realmente inaceptable cuando las bases y los productos básicos absolutos de los alimentos chinos para llevar no están cocinados adecuadamente.

Today we had a take away from Must go and it was looking and tasting absolutely disgusting, maybe even worse than disgusting. Never again..... I really don’t know how this take away is still opened. It ended going to the bin, where it belongs.

Ordered our takeaway and expected to wait a while for it to cook, so was very surprised when about 5-10 mins later our order was ready - a bit too quick really...We had a 10-15 minute walk back to our hotel and expected it might be a bit cold when we got back, but it was still very hot, which was a bonus! The food was actually nice and everyone enjoyed their meal.

We called here on Monday evening for a takeaway very pleasant staff and quick service but when our son was eating his chow mien he suddenly stopped and spat a finger nail out! We all suddenly stopped eating and through the rest of our meal away! Hubbie called to explain what we had found and they coundn't care less! So a little bit of advice would be if you want a take away don't go here!!!!

We were told the restaurant only serve Chinese tour groups from China so we were turned away, the food did look cheap so probably good value though, cheap Chinese food.

La comida normal 4 platos ordenados ninguno de que destacaba servilletas de papel y no de tela en las mesas bastante básico de verdad! Tenía zanahorias en uno de los platos que donde en dados pero bastante duras.

Used to eat here regularly but it has steadily got worse. On this occasion the chips had clearly been cooked many times over as they were rock hard, black inside, and covered in a strange powder like substance. Curry was greasy with a film, and none of it was very hot, and as they came out of the kitchen with our order, a huge blow fly came out with them. Never again.

We had a really good meal at this unassuming Chinese restaurant. Our food was perfect and the service was efficient.Our evening was made by the presence of a party of people from Hong Kong.Some guests were Mongolian. One lady sang Mongolian songs for her friends. She was so good and we all enjoyed it.

It is such a shame that they obviously have a different cook/chef on a Tuesday as our takeaway on a Saturday evening was all very tasty and well cooked.. sweet and sour chicken had lovely crispy batter, chicken and pineapple was cooked to perfection and had a lovely sweet sauce, chicken fried rice had large chunks of white chicken, spring roll was crispy and full of prawns, pork and beansprouts and my beef chow mein was melt in the mouth.However we had exactly the same on a Tuesday evening and the complete opposite (apart from the beef chow mein) is sadly true, chicken fried rice was full of stringy brown bits and didn't taste good at all. The chicken and pineapple was garlicy and had almost no sauce and the chicken was chewy, sweet and sour chicken balls were half the size and batter was undercooked and the spring roll was soggy with little meat in it at all.Mixed feelings about spending my hard earned money in there again

I have had takeaways meals from here many times in the past but never again. The quality has deteriorated and was very poor - chicken curry made with the cheapest cut of thigh meat, tough and there were small bones as well. Chicken in a different meal was also poor. I am sorry but I won't be using you again.

I use to get takeaways from here regularly and the food was always really good. The past few times the food had become steadily worse until the Lara visit when the rice was completely cold and just a pile of mush after a 5 minute drive home.They did replace it with some hot rice but I had to drive back in and all got was a bag of prawn crackers (which went in the bin after trying one) as an apology.Sadly it was too little too late and I won't be returning.

Although never eaten inside we always use their take away service and very often have it delivered to home. Staff are always friendly whether you go into shop or over the phone to place your order. Food is always piping hot and tastes delicious, in fact recommend another friend to try them and she said was much better than where she used to use! Delivery driver friendly too.

Like a previous review by another ripped off customer, I had a takeaway for four which came to over £60, they forgot some of the order and the rest was inedible. When I rang to complain they said there would be no refund and if I wanted the meal they forgot I would have to pay again! Seriously do not know how this place stays open! Please don't waste your money there are plenty of other places to go and get a take away... shocking restaurant, shocking food, shocking staff

The worst takeaway I've ever had, inedible. The chicken was grey and didn't look like chicken at all. All three meals could not be eaten as the food was so badly cooked and looked awful. We rang to complain and the food was collected to be examined. A refund was denied as bites of the food had been eaten - ridiculous. Never spend money in this restaurant or takeaway. The only saving grace of this company is your delivery staff - everything else .. MUST GO!

The best £30, spent on the WORST meal we've ever had anywhere. Food Took forever to cook and when we got it home it looked awful. The chicken in the black bean and omelette meals looked as though it had been kicked to death. It had that oily slick on the top. The so called spare ribs were clearly from a very anorexic pig and they'd been battered????? All in all we'd rather starve for the night than return. Family is now queuing for the loo. . Will never go back there nor recommend it to anyone. Food was vile. Waste of money!!!!

We booked a table for six saturday7th November. When we arrived we had my young grandson with us and when we said table for six they said they were fully booked, the place was empty and we walked passed there a few times that night and there were only a few eating in there.we thought this was very poor service just because my grandson was with us

First time I've left a review on TripAdvisor but I just had to after tonight's meal. Third time we've eaten here and the worst meal yet, I feel quite ill. The (very expensive) food was 30 minutes late with no apology. The food, when it arrived, was barely edible - Chicken Hong Kong style was over cooked, soggy and sugary. Crispy chilli beef was in a tepid, luminous sauce, terrible quality meat. Chicken was a dark brown colour and stringy. Ordered Singapore noodles and was delivered a greasy chow mein. Last time they forgot to deliver half the order and on ringing back, spoke to a rude, unhelpful lady who asked me what I thought they should do about it as the driver had now left. Was told to wait half an hour until the delivery man was available to deliver the same food again! Just appalling. Please don't waste your money here!

Just no. We have given Must Go chance after chance, but enough is enough. Most recently 2 separate deliveries have been wrong. Both were late and no apologies offered. When we told them our orders were wrong, some of which were missing, we were advised it'd be up to an hour to receive the rest of the order. I can't believe that they think this is acceptable?! Meals are tasteless, meat used is very questionable and arrives cold. Simply, I'd avoid at all costs! Save your money.

마파두부랑 새우 볶음밥이 괜찮던데....주인아줌마가 좀 무뚝뚝하긴합니다. 제가 면을 너무 좋아해서 하나를 시켰는데.... 후회막심합니다. 절대 국물있는 면은 시키지마세요. 별로입니다. 단, 볶음밥류는 상당히 괜찮습니다. 친철하지 않은 무뚝뚝한 면은 있지만 그것 빼고는 나름 괜찮았습니다.

Really enjoyed our meal, which catered alike for vegetarians with some excellent fresh Tofu and for meat eaters delivered excellent roast duck. The flavours of ginger and garlic in the chinese vegetable dishes were very traditional and the spicy satay sauce was very potent. Service was attentive and relaxed. Since we dined early during the midweek evening the restaurant was relatively quiet. Very reasonable for a lovely meal.

Poor Portion sizes at high prices. More like starters than main courses. Very disappointing meal that spoilt the rest of our evening.

I've visited here & had takeaways delivered several times from here with no problems or complaint & will be trying the restraunt that I have only just realised on here they have very soon RECOMMENDED !!

Hate to say it but this place has gone downhill. Two years ago it would have had 5 stars but I do not know what has happened. The food is only OK, the service about the same and we've had an unusual amount of wrong orders. All in all to quote other reviewers there isn't a decent Chinese in Stratford.

Visited this restaurant with friends, the decor needed improving and when we got the tatty menus we nearly walked out. The owner however was very welcoming and offered us. A choice of starters, before we ordered our mains. The quality and standard of the food was some of the best we as a group had had. Most of enjoy Chinese food on a regular basis at some of the best places in Manchester and Liverpool. On the strength of the starters we did not hesitate with the mains and again the quality was excellent. The cost was reasonable and we had a very pleasant night. One of those don't judge a book by its cover. When leaving one of us did suggest a it of investment might help.

I've never had a nice meal from here. Every few years I think I'll try it it might have changed but no I'm disappointed again. As you walk past the smell from the kitchens is of burnt cooking oil. I actually call it MUST PUKE.

Everyone says that there isn't a decent chinese in Stratford (except the one on Justins Avenue), and there's a reason why. After living here for a year, I craved chinese so much I thought must-go deserved a chance on its reputation when it opened years ago. Unfortunately, it was as disappointing as everyone says. We ordered kung po chicken, beef in black bean, chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice and chicken balls. The beef in black bean was ok, although we didn't realise it said spicy on my menu. the chicken chow mein was limp and watery, and the chicken used in the chow mein and rice was fatty, grey most probably reheated from the night before. The chicken balls were overcooked. But the worst was the kung po chicken, which could only be described as artifical; it was literally inedible, on par with hospital food. The service was suspiciously quick even at 5:30, alarm bells should have rang when he said 5-10 mins. Worst £20 I've spent in a long time.

After having a good meal here a few years ago we came in 2013 and it was closed early so this year we asked them wat time we could dine and they said it had to be nine or restaurant would be closed and i can see why... There was only us in apart from their family in and their kids.. But we persevered and ate anyway and it was very disappointing to say the least and very expensive.. All the time getting the feeling you wasnt welcome!!

Had a takeaway from this place on a Friday night; front of house staff were friendly but not altogether efficient. The place was busy which I took to be an encouraging sign. I waited the best part of half an hour for my order,( i did receive an apology) The food was barely edible, we had curry which was way too salty, the rice was Ok but the chiips were horrible. We also had the worst spare ribs we have ever had, fatty greasy and overcooked YUK!Avoid at all costs

This place is the worst takeaway ever the food is tasteless overcoat slop it's just like pig slops The only reason it survived is because it's a tourist trap sited next to the coach park The food is expensive and is just awful everything is awful The service, the food , the kitchen is diabolical filthy the owners been locked up for constant council violations in the past do yourself a favour and stay well away this is a place you really need to swerve away from they can't even cook rice it's like rice pudding God I can't state strongly enough how awful this place is......

The order took a lot longer than what we were advised, we didn't get what we ordered but made a point of asking them to repeat to us over the phone what we'd asked for and when they returned with the correct order the overall quality was poor. I wont be trying them again.

This is the best Chinese restaurant which I had visited oversea so far. The taste was extremely good, services was fantastic and location is excellent. We had a chance to meet the owner of the restaurant coincidentally, he was nice and sincere. A place should consider to return.

In our family, which in is two households in Stratford and includes visits from extended family and friends, if a takeaway meal is brought up, high on the list is Must Go. There is a routine that goes with this but I will give the bare essentials in this review. The menu is a great variety to meet all taste buds from mild, sweet and hot / spicy. Prices are reasonable for the area. Generous portions included for example 3 meals satisfy 4 adults consistently. We normally make our own rice for the meals but that has been an individual choice for a long time, not because it's not recommended. When the order telephone call is made, we are given a good Indication of when the food will be ready. We mostly time it right to arrive just as the food has been prepared at the restaurant. That way it's not sitting for a while. Again if you state no MSG, this is honoured except the crispy seaweed as that's just how it's produced. That's an insight into why Must is always an option for us.

The name of this restaurant seems to have been truncated, it should be "must go somewhere else".Even after I read the previous reviews I decided to give it a go, what a mistake.The menu you are given is tiny compared to the menu displayed out the the front. When I questioned this I was asked what I wanted (chicken, beef, prawns and beef cooked in garlic and chilli) and was told yes we can do that.The "meat", I presume thats what it was, had been battered and deep fried to a crisp, that is crisp "meat" and oily batter. Some of it was inedible.Ate a little and then got the bill which was about 30% more than that displayed out the front. When I pointed this out was told they were the take away prices although this was not displayed at all. I just couldn't be bothered arguing.Steer clear of this place, definately the worst chinese I have ever had.

Disappointing: cheap meat laced with hot spicy curry sauce to mask the disappointment about to be eaten. Only positive was the good customer service.

This was the second time we ate at Must-Go. That in itself is a recommendation and the fact that most of our fellow diners were Chinese speaks volumes for the food!The restaurant is plain and the menu conventional but the food is very good and compares well with other Chines restaurants I have used. The food is not the cheapest but not overly expensive and I would recommend lovers of Chinese food that this is a Must-Go restaurant.

I ordered a takeaway from here and have to say the meat is shocking the chicken is grey and full of grissle! Definitely won't be using this restaurant again. Used this takeaway several times hoping that it the meat quality may improve however it certainly hasn't. Definite avoid

Had a takeaway last night, paid £32 which included the delivery charge, was told there would be an hour wait which we were ok with, the food arrived 40 minutes later which is the only positive about my report.I don't really know where to start the singapore chow mein was so hot that just a bit of it literally burnt my mouth out - my partner likes his food hot, but could not eat it.The Beef and Mushrooms were grisly, the chicken in the sweet and sour chicken was poor quality I think I would get better in Iceland if I pinged it in the microwave.My partner had the duck pancakes which he said was ok, not impressed and after reading other reviews and now knowing the hygiene report we will certainly not be ordering anything else from there again!!

I love Must Go, the food is always very tasty and the staff are really nice. The take away can take a little while, I think just because they're busy, so it's definitely worth popping in or having dinner there. There's also a lovely little garden at the back, perfect for summer drinks.

Waited an hour and 10 minutes for a take away!! As much as the food is good it turned up cold :(( in the past have always got the order wrong. Shame as it's a good place just terrible service. Please sort it out!!

Great food, great service, prompt takeaway delivery, great value for money, would highly recommend, and will use again

after visiting Stratford before and dining at this chinese restauraunt before and it was lovely we thought we would try it again. Unbelievably Saturday night and the restaurant bit was closed

I first visited this restaurant purely because i walked past and could smell the amazing food. The menus outside the restaurant are misleading because they do trick you into thinking they serve more food than is actually available but that wasn't too much of a problem. The food was very nice and the staff were very nice and helpful although one of their English wasn't too great. The only problem i had was that when i ordered a fruit shoot, when it came it was actually out of date by a few months but once we told the staff they were very apologetic and gave us a new one for free. We did try to come back the next day for lunch but they were sadly closed. I certainly do recommend it.

Popped in to Must Go for a quick pre-theatre meal. What a delightful surprise! The food was outstanding. The restaurant has been revamped and the new layout improves the atmosphere a lot. The garden seating area was full of those enjoying the sunshine. The service was fast and friendly and I have to reiterate how good the food was!!! New menu with fab choices. A real treat if you want to have a lovely meal in Stratford upon Avon - great value too!
