Éramos un grupo de damas del almuerzo de Navidad del spa de Boston , los voluntarios habían pedido por adelantado nuestra comida los entrantes eran realmente agradables , pero los principales no , una dama tenía la opción vegetariana y no era comestible . Fue una lástima, ya que tuvimos un tiempo de Lovley, los pudines eran agradables, simplemente tristes, el principal no se parecía a lo que se anunciaba.

Una joya escondida en Wetherby. Gran selección de cervezas y cervezas. Muy buena comida a precios razonables. Personal amable y servicial. La zona de estar al aire libre en el verano es fabuloso. También un pub que acepta perros

Llegamos 5 minutos antes de abrir así que nos sentamos en el jardín de cerveza y luego fuimos al bar. Otras personas llegaron y también se sentaron en la cervecería o en la zona del bar después de nosotros. La escotilla del bar se abrió a la zona al aire libre y mientras esperaba a que me sirvieran las bebidas se llevaron consigo con un paquete de patatas fritas y se repartieron a lo que obviamente era un habitual. Luego tiraron de media cerveza por un tipo que vino tras nosotros que se sentó en el bar. Después de que me sirvieron me sirvieron. Solía ser habitual, pero no volveré a ir ya que hay pubs más acogedores en wetherby que quieren nuevos clientes que podrían terminar siendo habituales. Íbamos a comer allí, pero hemos decidido que alguien más merecedor puede tener nuestra costumbre. Servicio impactante, Los habituales vuelven y esperan su turno, no estaba ocupado. ¡Qué vergüenza!

Llevo años viniendo aquí y siempre lo he disfrutado. El personal es encantador, la comida siempre sabrosa y la elección de cervezas extensas y servidas bien. Hoy acabo de comer bocadillos pero he cenado por la noche en el pasado, sin quejas. el mejor pub / bar en Wetherby por mucho.

Always good food here. Incredibly professional yet relaxed atmosphere. Lovely veggie and vegan menu options. Dog friendly, nice layout so it's not too crowded.

Music too loud on a Thursday lunchtime. Food ok but when did a trio of sausages mean two sausages? Good offer of free pint with a burger. Good service.

Fantastic enthusiastic staff, reasonable choice of beer and a friendly place, food is good and it was very Covid safe but unfortunately due to Tier 3 it is sadly missed at the moment.

We used this venue twice during our Harrogate visit just before the anticipated problems of lockdown arrived with their vengeance. The first was one fine sunny weekday when we ventured into their busy outdoor seating area and had a couple of good value, good service drinks. After which, since we were staying nearby for the coming Sunday, we booked an inside table for Sunday lunch and were equally impressed with service, food, cleanliness, et al. For a very reasonable thirty six quid, we thoroughly enjoyed our two course ample roast platters and fine house accompanying Shiraz wine. We shall definitely return there when next in Wetherby.

Really impressed with COVID measures in the Mews, by far the best of any pubs/restaurants I have visited since they reopened.

What a lovely find on our first visit to Wetherby! Such a warm and friendly pub, service swift and staff and customers so welcoming. We enjoyed some drinks here on a Saturday afternoon - the food looked good. Beers and wine excellent and an amazing range of gins and vodkas - all mixed expertly. Will visit again and highly recommend.

We have called into here twice, once for a drink and once for a meal. Both times the pub was absolutely full of people with dogs, all well behaved, but if you want to eat without a dog drooling at you then choose somewhere else. I dont mind dogs in the bar areas, but they were all over the eating areas too.The staff are friendly and the service was good too. Food came hot, was OK but nothing special at all.Wouldn't return, unless we get a dog!

Buscando un lugar para comer en Wetherby, me encontré con Mews. El menú exterior parecía atractivo, así que entré al establecimiento. Los pasteles de pescado estaban calientes y excepcionalmente sabrosos, fueron algunos de los mejores que he tenido. El servicio del servidor fue muy bueno y noté que vino a ver cómo me iba.El plato principal fue una ligera decepción, he tenido mejores risottos, si esto fuera un poco más cremoso con una pizca adicional de condimento hubiera sido perfectamente aceptable, la lubina un poco más, pero sazonada muy bien. No manejé todo el arroz, el tomate y los guisantes, pero nuevamente el servidor preguntó si la comida estaba bien y sí, estuvo bien, pero me ha ido mejor.Disfruté de mi noche aquí y volveré la próxima vez que esté en la zona, pero puede que elija algo del menú principal la próxima vez.Es agradable ver una buena difusión de clientes de todas las edades y perros. Era obvio que el personal trabaja muy duro aquí para atender a todos. Un buen bar y restaurante local.

Moved to wetherby over a year ago and only found this small and unique bar and restaurant. It has very different bears, a great atmosphere and superb staff.

There is a small step on the entrance. My husband went in to ask if they had a ramp and was told "no". It was raining and the staff didn't seem to care.

Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo familiar justo antes de Navidad. La bienvenida y el servicio fue muy bueno. Tuvimos la cena de Navidad, una excelente hamburguesa, 2 x macarrones con queso y abundante salchicha y puré para nuestro hijo de 3 años. Solo tomábamos refrescos, pero las bebidas disponibles parecían muy buenas. Altogerther un almuerzo muy satisfactorio.

Spent a very pleasant couple of hours here tonight. Beer was in top condition and the bar staff exceptional as always!! Great selection of beers 🍺 and I’ve heard the wine is good too👍

A wonderful place. Extremely friendly staff who go over and above to make you comfortable and happy. Great menu including vegan food too - all homemade and hearty. Dogs are very welcome too. And good beer too.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff regarding the excellent selection of beers. A really cosy bar and in the warm weather an excellent outside area, all in the very centre of Wetherby. The beers are constantly changing and pleasingly support a lot of local breweries.We should eat here sometime.

Staying in Wetherby but not wanting to eat at our chain hotel, we found the Mews in the local list of dog-friendly eating places. Hoorah! The minute we walked into the warm and welcoming bar, we knew we'd made the right decision. Bar staff couldn't have been nicer, the food menu was great, we had comfortable chairs at a spotlessly clean table in the bright, simply but comfortably furnished, room. We chose steak from the specials board, but without the sauce - so the chef sent us a bowl of tasty seasonal vegetables to make up for it. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and we couldn't resist afters - both the chocolate and clementine torte and the sticky toffee pudding were delicious. There's a drinks board with 'specials' too, and I enjoyed their choice - local Wild Ram Dry Gin served with grapefruit and pink peppercorns! Service, both at the bar and at the table, was impeccable. We also noticed that on this Friday night the guests were wide-ranging in age, and some had just come in for a drink, while others ate: more signs of the high quality of this place. We recommend a visit!

We enjoyed dining at this pub on a visit to Wetherby. The food was good and the service was excellent. They remembered us on the second night and even the food we ordered on the previous night.

Great food, staff and customers Was very welcoming and the food was lovely. Would recommend the Yorkshire pudding wrap and even got treats for Frank! Will be back!

Nos encontramos con este pub con mi esposo y mi suegra y tuve un asado de cordero que era Devine y el queso de coliflor estaba cocinado a la perfección, mi esposo tenía la presentación encantadora de hamburguesa de tocino y estaba bien preparado, no hace falta decir que se fue ninguno la suegra tenía Brie y sándwich de pimiento asado y chips de queso y dijo que eso es lo mejor que ha tenido. También tuve el Parkin que estaba en el tablero de especialidades que era increíble. Realmente no podría recomendar este lugar, fue muy encantador, gracias por invitarnos y el personal es absolutamente perfecto en todos los sentidos, tan servicial y amable que no puedo esperar para volver allí.

Sunday lunch for six. The place was about half full.

Great service, good food, quick service, dog friendly. Ticked all the boxes. We had the 3 for £10 small plates, a chicken burger and a normal burger. All tasted fresh and fairly homemade. Great work guys

This is a smashing place just by the lovely church and we had a great time there. The weather was really sunny so we took a place in the beer garden at the front and enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere.

Although the bar tender was pleasant and engaging and the beer was good there’s not much more positive feedback to be provided. Extremely grissly beef ciabatta sandwich - don’t want to fight with my food. Ciabatta small doughy and could have been lightly toasted. Toilet facilities - small smelly and shabby and cramped. The baby change table folds down over the toilet! On arrival asked about specials board to be advised they did not have ingredients for any of the specials.would not recommend and would not go back. Too pricey for what is on offer.

Very nice town centre pub with car park and large outside seating area. Great decor and ambience and very civilised and relaxed.

first time out in ages so we went to the mews which from the moment we went in there was a group of people that domanated the fire area that were loud rude insulting & soon emptied the place the guy behind the bar was a man under pressure as all the staff left & he couldnt open the till we certainly wouldnt have eaten there it was bad enough just drinking in there,shame as it used to be a noce little tavern wont be returning :(

Nipped in for a couple of beers and was impressed at the great selection on offer, especially the IPA, clearly there are staff working there well versed with what customers like to drink and with a knowledge of current beer trends. The staff serving were very friendly and cheery. Fire was lit which gave a nice warm atmosphere. Fairly busy for a chilly Wednesday night. Things definitely on the up!

Where do I begin with terrible experience... After attending a local wedding fair my future son in law booked for us to have a family meal here and we were all including grandparents looking forward to spending rare family time together. On arrival we quickly realised we would not be taking our coats off but as an easy going family chose to just laugh about it and enjoy our meal and time together,we then proceeded to order our meals and drinks we were offered a choice of pork or beef for the Sunday lunch , my husband ordered two two course a separate meal and drinks and confirmed his order twice “ now remember this part as I will return to it” . Our meals arrived .. my daughters meal was missing the red cabbage and so replaced with an alternative but not prior asked of informed we also had to ask for the cauliflower cheese .. not a good start ! We had been told no pork prior to this but ham hock as an alternative “ remember this too “ I had the ham and my meal was lovely aside from the fact my roast potatoes were hard and dried out but again we decided to just ignore it and try and enjoy our family time . We were asked if everything was ok to which two of our family members eating beef replied no .. they couldn’t eat it it due to the fact it was tough and they couldn’t cut it never mind try to chew it ... a replacement was offered in the form of a different meat and at this point pork appeared back on the menu .. one of our guests didn’t particularly want the alternatives so asked for sausage and mash to which the reply was no we can only change the meat !.. so left with no choice and cold vegetables waited for pork “ at this point we were wishing we had gone to the Wetherby whaler! Btw two of our group were struggling with the beef but were reluctant to say as they could feel the occasion was being ruined. We then could smell an overwhelming burning and wondered what it was , my daughters nana returned from the let’s just say not so well looked after toilets to say the hand dryer blew out dust and smelled of burning ! We still proceeded to pudding and reminded the staff we were ready.. my sons arrived and he had to wait over 10 minutes before he could attempt to eat it as it was so hot “do they have a probe ? Glad it wasn’t a small child! “Another of our guests asked for a coffee to which the reply was we don’t have any left .... so we all left putting it down to experience having better things to talk about frankly. Walking down the high street I turned as someone was shouting and a member of staff was running down the street “ first thought .. one of our party had left something in the pub maybe “oh how kind “ but no !! He proceeded to shout at us in the street saying we had two puddings outstanding on our bill .. now this was a surprise to us as we explained we had ordered up front and paid .. he then said “it was him pointing to my husband who was a little way in front ... now go back to the fact my husband confirmed is order twice as he felt the young lady was let’s say not paying good attention so this was a staff mistake that we knew nothing about ... he then proceeded to further abuse us in the street and it was horrendously embarrassing and upsetting shouting and calling us theives and that we were barred !! Never in our lives have we experienced anything like it and it spoilt our whole day ! Given the fact that we were so unhappy with the whole experience there and the absolute rudeness of this individual I feel compelled to make this review and let me just say we didn’t need baring as we would of never returned !

Lo haría, aunque no se lo diera al perro, no sería un personal muy organizado, muy grosero. Lo hicieron, ni siquiera tomar café para después de la comida. Comimos mejor en cantinas de obras.

Mi novio y yo habíamos estado buscando a Wetherby en busca de un lindo y pintoresco restaurante de estilo "pub" para comer por la noche, y encontramos esta joya.

Great night with a group of friends . We had pre ordered from the Christmas menu as there were sixteen of us. The food and service were excellent we were even impressed with the crackers. We will be back.

We had never been to Wetherby before and found the Mews by chance, the atmosphere was great we felt right at home. The beers were also great with some excellent guest ales on sale

This bar is getting back to its roots, great beer selection and friendly, dedicated staff. Great music!

But served with a friendly smile by a welcoming barman who made a special effort garnishing my Harrogate gin with juniper berries, pink peppercorns and lime. We’re glad we called in and would happily do so again. Cheers!

Good beers. Good service. Good ambience. What more could you want from A pub within walking distance. Welcome dogs inside and out. Cosy in winter, pleasant outside area in summer.

Quirky bar in quiet location just off main road through Wetherby. Great choice of cask ales, guest beers and quality lagers. Trendy minimalist decor with good use of church pews which fit in well with the exposed beams and stonework. Nice range of good pub grub and snacks. Well worth a visit

My first time to The Mews and what a fab experience - staff, food and ambience wonderful. We had lunch my husband had the fish and chips and I went for the New York burger - very large portions for the price and very very tasty.

The establishment has been taken over by new management with live music now being a feature. Whilst the bands playing could be better the acoustics in the Mews are appalling with no carpets and curtains resulting in the “music” bouncing off the walls and driving up the noise level. When we visited a number of people including ourselves left through not being able to hear each other talk. Avoid at all costs.

Visited last night, after a tiring day exploring Yorkshire. The service, the staff and the Lager was tremendous. Only a few choices of lager, but both were excellent; great pub for Bitter and Stout if they are your tipple. The staff are very friendly and helpful; be aware: this is a popular pub and gets very busy. One tiny, tiny complaint: the music was too loud, but that didn’t detract from a lovely experience. Highly recommended. Why can’t we have great pubs like this in Australia?

Sunday lunch with flat Yorkshire puddings which were a bit doughy, hard rubbery veg, lump of meat rather than slices and a wee bit of thin watery gravy.

Nice to sometimes have a more basic Menu e.g Fish sandwich, burgers etc Very busy pub, all ages. All staff very pleasant but MUST mention Joe who was so pleasant & attentive ~ Customer Service @ it's VERY best.

Lovely evening. Food was delicious, staff pleasant and helpful and an amazing selection of Gin (40 I think). Well worth a visit. Steak pie was home made and the brownies are to die for. Will definitely be going again

Whilst you'll pay a little more than average for your drinks, we found the place welcoming, friendly and engaging when it came to choosing what to drink. For relatively young bar staff, we found their drinks knowledge of really good and willing to provide tasters (of the beer) before we settled on our choice. A really refreshing experience. Keep it up. Wetherby needs somewhere you can go for a higher standard of service and fare.

It's a while since I've been in this bar, and whereas I had previously found it to be a vibrant and welcoming place, it didn't seem so this time round. The long shape of the bar doesn't really lend itself to cosy atmosphere, and with the desk coloured tables, it almost felt like drinking in a public library.

So pleased we went in here for lunch as the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The menu is a bit different from the usual pub fare you tend to get. I had a vegetarian tagine served with a minty yogurt dressing. It was cooked to perfection.

Thanks to all the team at the Mews for a great evening - soon as we saw the tables set up we knew we were going to enjoy ourselves. We had an entertaining talk on the story of gin through the ages while tasting 4 ! unique flavoured gins with well chosen garnishes and tonics by Fever-tree (the name comes from the quinine bush - obvs. once you know).

I'm a regular at the mews. I have been in for food and just a drink. the menu specials are fantastic. I mean waffles on for desert. Can't get better than that! I don't agree with the other reviews that say the management mooch round and lack of front of skill. Because every time I have been in I have received a lovely welcome and have a great selection of ales on and all the staff and management have made an effort to make me feel welcome.

Over the years the Mews became a place to meet old and new friends, eat good food and try new ales. You could sit by the fire on cold days and enjoy a selection of background music.

My favourite place to drink in Wetherby, real fire, warm atmosphere, friendly staff with a great choice of real ales ...however it is unfortunately starting to lose its mojo. The bright lights give no atmosphere, the fire is lit when the staff can be bothered...

A lovely pub and just a short walk from the centre of town. Bar staff friendly, locals ready for a chat. The outside area is on a hard surface but the surroundings are pleasant. Have a look it's a fair dinkum pub.

Went into the mews today and the drink selection was amazing along with the staff, they were so friendly, but the festive spirit has been left behind unfortunately, it is such a cosy pub with a log burner but the lack of decorations is disappointing, overall great pub, good beers, nice staff, but not very festive

We came here today and had a great lunch, the food was spot-on. Very tasty, and we would definitely recommend it.

Good range of real ales and craft beers and nice place for a relaxed pint. Bit too brightly lit and cafe like to be properly cosy but a pretty decent bet in Wetherby.

Visited with a large group of friends, they've introduced far more seats and tables which means you can enjoy their great selection of beers, they had Theakston's Old Peculiar on draught which is always a winner for me, in comfort.

A lovely light atmosphere. Decent food for whole family. Staff although young were polite and professional and very good with my girls aged 12 and 8. Will def visit again but hope for more healthy options. Eg jackets

Absolutely the best corned beef hash I've tasted , quality place with friendly staff and fair prices for the craft beers and a good selection of gins. Would highly recommend.

Lunch in here today . Whether this is a pub, a bar , a restaurant , or whatever it is , the 2 female members of staff should have made some effort to engage us after we had sat down . They couldnt have looked more bored or disinterested. No effort made to welcome us or let us know that we needed to order at the bar . Staff looked scruffy-theres clearly no dress code .

Popped in for a pre Wetherby Festival drink and loved the session IPA. Quick service and plenty of inside seating available.

Whilst staying overnight near wetherby we went to The Mews for dinner and drinks.. what a lovely place right from the time we entered we were made most welcome. We got our first drinks at the Bar, there is a very good selection of Ales, Craft Beers and Cider as well as Cocktails. We sat and perused the menu with only one item reported as off the menu that night.. that being the steak and ale pie.. I opted for the Beer battered fish and chips.. and the wife and her friend both had the Delux Chicken burger which was huge and looked delicious.. all food was excellent and we stayed a while and partook of more drink and some delightful desserts. Total Bill inc drinks for three of us came to around £80 of which about £48 was for food Beers ranged from around £3.50 to around £5.20 a pint.. we thought that the experience was excellent and at a decent price.

The only decent beer in Wetherby, a good selection on cask and they try to get some interesting choices in along with the obligatory Okells for the unadventurous. The keg lines are always great with craft beers from modern interesting brewers including one-off and hard to get beers. The staff are helpful and happy to offer tasters and opinions and the manager clearly knows his stuff about good beer and also the extensive gin selection. The food is also good although the less said about the cutlery in the tankards the better!

My husband and I come here often, although we have never eaten here the drinks are always lovely. Great gin selection . Friendly staff and always a good atmosphere!!

I've always loved the Muse as it was and love the Mews as it now is since it had a refurbishment over a year ago.The beer has always been good but I'd dare to say it's now great. Being a fan of the craft ale scene I'm lucky to have the Mews on my doorstep, I don't need to get a bus to Leeds or Harrogate to find beers from the likes of Wylam, Dry & Bitter and Verdant who are at the forefront of current brewing, they're brought to me. There is always a good mix on both cask and keg and I to make sure there's something for everyone without having to follow the crowd by serving Fosters, Guiness etc. The beer quality is impeccable as ever, something the CAMRA fraternity obviously agree with due to the countless nominations the Mews receives for their Leeds pub of the month.The staff are well trained and able to give sensible advice or tasters should you be struggling to make up your mind.Keep up the good work and hopefully I'll be writing another 5 star review next year.

Friday night. Long queue at the bar many tables needed clearing only one barman serving. Eventually two females reappeared from having a smoke out back.Took a long time for the tables to be cleared.

My eldest daughter wanted a low key wedding in her local pub and the day could not have been any better !! from the warm welcome that all the guests received through to the superb food for lunch and the evening barbeque. The food was absolutely superb, well presented, original and very hearty,the staff were all brilliant and worked very hard to ensure the day went without a hitch and the manager could not have been more helpful.We are so pleased that we had the wedding reception and party here...just terrific.

We called in because of the beer garden and glad we did , they had an excellent range of beers and ciders, they let me sample a few 1st before I opted for pirate stout. My wife loved the gin with a few added extras.didnt try the food but it looked delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, can't wait to return.

Have eaten here a few times. Always lovely food. Always such a diverse menu. Love trying new things and the beers are ciders are great to try too. Will be back.

A snap decision to have dinner out took us to the Mews which is more pub than restaurant. The dining choice is quite limited so we went for a burger. We paid extra for having cheese and bacon added so at over £10 it was not cheap. However, the meat lacked taste, the bun was dry and fries with it were soggy - probably having been stood for a while before being brought to the table. Service was lacklustre. No one checked if everything was OK and we were not offered a suite. However, the bottle of cabernet sauvignon we drank to make the meal bearable was good.

A fantastic array of gins and different tonics all well served. The beer was good too. It was good value too and not really overpriced like some places you have Gin.

Lovely pub with outdoor seating for when the sun shines. Charming pub which welcomes dogs inside which is a bonus around Wetherby, Good selection of wines and ales.

Called in here for a brief visit and wished I wasn't driving!Tucked away just off the Main Street and market place, this little pub is a real gem. Very friendly and efficient service with a great selection of real ales, gins and other drinks. Unusually, the barman was able to talk knowledgeably about the different beverages and make sensible recommendations. Nice seating area outside in the sun to enjoy a pint from a local brewery.

Called in whilst in town one evening. It has been refurbished since I was last in which is good. You can now sit anywhere to eat and it has a nice sofa area at the back which used to be the restaurant. Good range of fine ales if required and a good range of spirits etc. Can get quite busy but with the refurbishment you can find somewhere to sit.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Andy and all his staff for hosting my sons Communion party this afternoon. The buffet was delicious and they were both very accommodating and obliging. Great venue, great staff and great food. Thanks again. The Moss family. See you soon

Couple of pints in here - good range of craft and cask beers. Knowledgeable staff and happy to let try before buy.

Popped in for pre dinner drinks and sat outside as the weather was great. Found a couple of excellent IPA's on handpulled and a tasty Veltins Pilsner on keg. Service extremely fast now there is more space behind the bar.

This used to be the best bar in Wetherby but since it's refit is completely changed. Who on earth thought bright lights would create an ambience?! Get some dimmer switches and create an atmosphere before the only trade you are left with is outside drinkers on a summers evening.

We were here on Saturday night. We thought the service was great with friendly and accommodating staff. The food was very good, the venue had a nice ambience, and centrally located within Wetherby we will be coming back and can recommend to others.
