Had a fabulous fondue today with the family….really lovely food and drink. Service was impeccable. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a top notch dining experience. Great location and ambiance too.

Williom did a great job serving us. Nice food and beer and plenty of screens to watch the football. Would come back again.

Booked a table to watch the Germany vs Denmark match. When we arrived, we were taken to our table which was right up to a pillar and the screen could only be seen by 2 out of the 4 of us. I have a photo of this. I asked the manager (I think there were two on shift) if we could move and she said no. I explained we had booked to see the game and she simply seemed uninterested and clearly didn’t care that we couldn’t see the screen. Eventually, we spoke to another server who let us slide further up the table. Every group who were then put in our original seats then complained and two lots were eventually moved with the same level of poor customer service greeting them. After 10 minutes, the table opposite us were arguing with the wait staff over their bill and disagreeing with the items on there. They left disgruntled and were told ‘See you next time.’ This seems to be a common complaint - we saw this several times over the night and unfortunately this then also happened to us. Fortunately our server this time was lovely and soon sorted this out for us by taking several meals and drinks off that we never had. They definitely need a better system for tracking who has actually had what food and drink and how the long tables are split by different groups. Food and cocktails were very good although my request to possibly have a little pot of cheese sauce and to pay for it was greeted with disinterest and I was told to pay for another meal of £15 if I wanted it. I didn’t! Some staff were lovely. Some staff were rude and whilst waiting for a stein there were several arguments amongst staff at the bar and wait staff too. We did enjoy watching the game in the end but this place would be so much better if all staff treated customers politely, by managing the bills properly and giving customers booking the ‘Euros’ seats where they can actually see the whole screen.

William was excellent - I was here for PR event. He went above and beyond for our table and ensured we had a good time. Anyone who has his as a waiter will be blessed because he’s so lovely and attentive!

Found this bar by accident after visiting the London Museum Docklands. Waited around for a bit as wasn’t sure whether you could just sit down or you needed to be seated so we found a table and then we waited around a bit longer because we didn’t know if we had to go up to the bar and order ourselves so if somebody was coming out to take our order. I Went to find someone and they told me that somebody would be out to us. Another 10 minute wait. We had two beers and two pretzels and paid on my card. After a while I looked at the menu and decided to order a black forest gateau and apple strudel. They came out and I paid on my card. The only thing that was black forest about my gateaux was the name. I don’t think it had even had a whiff of a cherry let alone be part of an ingredient. The very friendly waitress came over and asked how our desserts were and I told her and she said oh I’ll feed it back to the kitchen, but they will tell me that that’s the German way of doing it. I would imagine there are chefs in Bavaria spinning in their graves now, if they knew that was what was being dished up in the name of German cuisine. What we didn’t realise until quite later on is that we were being charged 12.5% discretionary service charged on both transactions. To top it all up off, I was locked in the disabled toilet as when you pulled the lever down it locks the door so you have to use the key to get back out again. I wasn’t told this nugget of information so I was in the toilet for about 15 minutes calling for somebody to help me and all I got was smirk and a laugh and a surely you should’ve known that

We used to love Munich Cricket Club. It was our favourite bar in the area with Pauliner and Haufbrau Beer. Now it’s all changed, some bright spark in management have decided to go another route and now you have the option of two cheap inferior beers. They are a poor comparison to save a few pounds. Highly unlikely I will ever go back again.

Lugar grande, ambiente descontraído. Fecham cedo a cozinha, fique atento ao horário caso não queira apenas beber. Cerveja saborosa, pratos também. Winner Schnitzel bem servido. Muito bom

We called in for a couple of beers and food after work on a Monday. It's a great open and airy venue and the staff were knowledgable and attentive. We had a mix of steins, suasages and snitzel which arrived promptly and tasted great.

Great food on a lovely terrace by the docks (recommend the kaserkrainer and the schnitzel), and wonderful service by Leon :)

Absolutely fantastic place to visit, for lover of German, beer, food and culture. Beer is cheap considering where it is located. £7:25 a pint, bargain. The food, Currywurst mit pommes was sehr lecker. The only downside for me was none of the staff had even the most basic of German, even a Danke would have done. The music could have been ooompah bandish as opposed to Belinda Carlysle tbh. Notwithstanding that though, was good and I'll be Bach lol

Please avoid this place at any cost! Today , I order goulash and came as a sloppy mixture of mince beef and sauce ,placed on top of some noodles . The dish was a gross offence to the ‘ Goulash recipe ‘ !! Shame that people without any knowledge of world cuisine are employed as cooks ! My partner’s plate was awful too ! Hot wurst with cold potatoes salad served on the same plate ! The waitress (with Hungarian 🇭🇺 background ) was a real asset to the place !

I'd avoid this place. We had the schnitzel platter and it was like nothing we have ever had in Germany and I go every year. Rock hard yet somehow greasy thin schnitzels, really couldn't tell the difference between the chicken and pork. Gravy that tasted of I have no idea what but not gravy. Bad service l, the whole team spend 90% of the time at the bar chatting. There were plenty of them, they just weren't doing their jobs. At many points there were a group of 7 of them, looking at phones, laughing and what not. Some things were very funny to them. I didn't leave a one star review because the happy hour was good. Two cocktails and two pints for £20 in London is good. So if you ignore everything else and come for a drink, then why not. The photos are just of the hang around crew

Our third visit here - another late lunch on a Sunday. It was great again - exceeded our (high) expectations/hopes! Friendly and efficient staff, generous and delicious food and good value, amazing historical location. This is now one of our favourites in London - and we also like the Tower Hill branch.

Anna was the best hostess we could’ve had. She made us feel so welcome and provided the best local knowledge we could’ve needed. I have frequented Munich multiple times and she ensured an authentic visit. If you are ever to visit here, I pray you have Anna as a server. She transformed our experience and she is the greatest asset to the business. Vielen Dank Anna! Du bist die Beste!!!!!

We stopped after noticing a board outside for half price cocktails so went inside - the cocktails were good - you had to have 2 of the same cocktail to get it half priced. What struck me though was the place itself and I looked at the food menu which looked different and tempting - it is very rustic - benches and tables and looked interesting. We were pushed for time but I will be returning. Staff very friendly.

Met some work friends here whilst in London. It was ok. A little different but can get nit noisy if your thinking of having a chat. Food was good and a varied menu. Staff could be a little more attentive. Took a good few attempts to grab their attention especially as it wasn't busy mid week. Well priced and something a little different.

We went back for the second time for late lunch on a Sunday. And it was as good as the first time - excellent and friendly staff, generous and delicious food and good value. This has become one of our favourites in London - also the Tower Hill branch.

We had a lovely time, great schnitzel, I would recommend the platter and superb service from Archie 😀

Had a great time here a couple of Friday nights ago. Beer was good price during happy hour, and the food good value for money. However, come 10pm we're all asked to leave the biergarten as it's in a residential area. This was fair enough, but when everyone from the biergarten all piled indoors it was standing room only because the staff were instructed not to open up the tables downstairs to anyone. That put a bit of a sour note on an otherwise great night, all because management are thinking more about themselves and not having to tidy up, rather than the customers who are keeping them in a job.

This stood out from the crowd of restaurants in Canary Wharf because the menu was in German (and everyone was drinking steins). I was honestly surprised by how good the food was. Two of us left utterly stuffed and a little tipsy down only £50. Great fries, decent veg, lovely sausages. I would return in a heartbeat.

La Tasca closed on Sunday so there was no meal. You'd better update your website.

Bad service due to what looked like Understaffed restaurant

Very nice venue alongside west India quay . Quiet on a Monday lunch in late Feb but still felt nice atmosphere. Staff very pleasant and efficient , food very good quality . Would go again

Excellent service from staff and manager, tasty tapas and a pleasant Sunday afternoon out

La Tasca was not aware of my booking but there was space available anyway. The food was fair and took an age to arrive. It took over an hour to receive some bread and other dishes. They did not have enough staff which meant the service was very slow. In the end a simple meal took over two hours. Based on my experience I would not dine here again.

La Tasca is good food on the go. Tapas is simple and not too much food, a must for me when I am traveling.

Chef has changed and food was overcooked. Used to frequent quite often but not sure if we will now

Went for dinner with a couple of friends - the services was terrible - no one knew what they were meant to be doing. Drinks took about 20mins to arrive by which time we'd got the starter. For starter we got a platter of stale cheese and questionable looking meat - we were actually worried to eat it. For the price it was disgraceful - the paella for main was ok but undercooked. The location was lovely by the riverside. This was my last chance for La Tasca and I have to say never never again will i be wasting my money at this chain. So many other lovely restaurants that do similar things.!
