Munchies in Newcastle upon Tyne

Came to get a kebab after going to the arcade bar, only had a couple drinks, me and my girlfriend decided to get one and came here, next day I was very ill, food poisoning, and lone and behold, the girlfriend fell very ill too, kebab must be out of date or something, never again! Might be taking this further if I can gather enough evidence

Ordered on New Years Eve & the delivery driver was brilliant. Even though they were very busy he made every effort to arrive on time, which he did, & was polite & friendly. The food was lovely can't fault it.

Tried to contact the restaurant but no answer, food was estimated 60- 80 mins from order time. App changed to show delivery was on the way and then 30mins later again said it had arrived. Tried to contact again but no response. Food still not arrived 2hrs later.

I came to Newcastle as a humble student ready to learn new things and meet new people. I was already on a great night out with plenty of singing, laughing and dancing with all my new found friends. When the fun unfortunately came to its inevitable end, and everyone retreated to their respected accommodation’s. I was in search of some scran to satisfy my hunger so that I could feel fully fit and energised for my 9 AM lecture the following morning. Then I stumbled across a place that would change my life forever… it wasn’t just the food that was satisfying every taste bud on my Munchies-virgin tongue; but it was also the tirelessly working staff that put in the work at the late hours of the night, day in and day out. Yet they are still able to leave you and stomach as happy as it can be no matter how packed it always is. From that moment on Munchies became my place of comfort and my home from home, It has always been the stable constant in my life that I could always count on.and I couldn’t imagine even thinking about trying anywhere else. It would simply just be wrong.

I went in ordered a pizza for my girlfriend. They made it wrong and then when I went in to ask for one made right they charged me another £15 which is more than another pizza altogether. Although may add if was a good pizza in the end. And they made my pizza in good time.

Food never came. do not order from here

Food was late, cold and poor quality, I got notified it was with the driver and 40 mins later it was delivered, I live 30 mins walk from the shop, took about 2 hours from ordering, some of us had fallen asleep by then, avoid!

Waited over 1.5 hours and no food has come even though it says it’s been delivered

Was on the phone to the delivery man for 15 minutes. He was walking about last night in that weather looking for the address. When he arrived the food was freezing in which I asked him and he said no no it was not.

Accepted the order on uberEats, even said the food was on it’s way. 1.5hrs later nothing, requested updates in the app and got no response, called them and they said I was too far away and weren’t sending the order. Didn’t bother to let me know at the time of ordering. Had to call Uber directly to cancel and get a refund. Don’t use them.

Absolutely disgusting food. Burger was freezing had no chips with my meal as I ordered cheeseburger meal and you get chips driver told me he was coming back with my chips and didn't turn up plus my Kebab meat was disgusting all of it was all hard and really cold. Will never ever order from there again

Did not get my order... Nothing came so really I can't rate the food but service is shocking and if that's anything to go by then food would be shocking too.

What kind men who run this takeaway. What was a planned peaceful march in Newcastle last Saturday turned into what I can only describe as a riot. This event was attended by number of young children. Thanks to the staff at Munchies who let parents and children inside the takeaway before the police charged at people attending the event from both sides of the street with battens drawn dogs and horses all can be veiwed on YouTube, they saved a lot children being crushed and hurt. What a disgusting operation from Newcastle Police on what was a planned peaceful protest..

1st time customer - won't be coming back nice chilli sauce, bad pizza

I noticed I had 3 missed calls within the space of 3 minutes so I do apologise for that but once we called the driver back he had already left with our food... after 3 minutes, the driver did not even attempt to leave the car, we had a camera at the front door that records (block of flats) and a buzzer which was not pressed. We discovered that what had actually happened was the driver had hit a parked car outside the building and sped off, this was confirmed by the car owner who witnessed this first hand. We were then asked by the driver on the phone what we would like him to do and I told him I would like the food I’ve paid for and he told me I would need to pay him to bring it back. I tried calling the restaurant over 10 times and no answer. After 30mins since the first call was made I received a call from the driver after not being able to reach the restaurant to be told I had to go outside to fetch my food from him which I was under the impression he should meet us at the door? I assume this was because the driver was trying to dodge the women who owned the car he had hit? The pizza was cold & dry and the chicken nuggets had gone cold & hard. Never managed to reach the restaurant at all. Costumer service is atrocious and food overall rubbish. Will definitely not be back or recommending!

Cabbage was drier than a nun's *****. Chicken bland. Chilli - heat was there but flavour wasn't.

As per usual Pizza&Co excelled themselves the kebab wraps are just mmm i would always recommend these guys honestly the food from here is just amazing

Here i wanted a kebab with tommy k but never got it. I got a margarita intead but i dont like tomoato saurce. I was devstated as i was starving and hungry and my pals tucked into their proper meal which they got vyt they forgot mine. Disaster

What a complete joke just ordered 2 kebabs, one with chips and one with salad. Kebabs were tiny and so dry and got hardly any chips. Standard shan rubbish big market takeaway unfortunatley

At the end of a night on the Bigg Market no better place to go for food.

will remember munchies well.. 2 and half hours of waiting for delivery and wrong food delivered.
