Cake has come damaged no good to me now was going to be a nice surprise for my daughter terrible keep trying phone no answer

Paid for cakes to be delivered for a birthday and we were told the day of that they have cancelled the order and it will be delivered later in the week. They are also flat out refusing to provide a refund.

I don’t know why the some people feels so bad. Actually it delivery so quickly and the cheesecake taste so good thanks i will get again

They have worrying issues with food allergen safety and awful customer service. Avoid at all costs!

I otdered a cake for my daughters 8th birthday a week and a half later and still it hasn’t turned up it cost £60 …. The DHL tracking clearly shows I have never received it and I had the expense of buying another cake. I have emailed countless times, left Facebook msgs and not one reply not one acknowledge of my msgs. I can honestly say this is the worst company I have ever dealt with and a scam. What kind of company do not offer a refund or apologise when an order never showed up. I am in process of dealing with trading standards on my issue as I would hate for them to treat others this way and think they can just get away it .

Placed an order 3 hours ago says it’s delivered but haven’t got it they are an absolute joke

Placed order at 23:40, order was accepted and due to be delivered at 00:40-01:00. Was told order was on the way at 00:20 but stayed up till 1:40 and had nothing delivered. Disappointed to have spent £29.50 on treating myself for first time in a while, just to have nothing delivered. Attempted to call the shop as it was saying my order had been delivered, but it was shut for the night. Will be requesting a full refund and taking business else where.

Currently up to an hour and a half waiting and still no food. I've called 3 times. Driver is ten mins away. Still not here. Offered a discount for next time. I live 200 miles away. So they said I'd get a refund. We'll see. I think I'll be back home south tomorrow before we get our order

Ordered for my sisters 30th birthday the cake was packaged great in 2 boxes and with ice packs. It was Absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and will order again in the future.

I couldn’t fault the speed of the delivery and the politeness of the driver! However, I ordered a school cake & custard, and chocolate covered strawberries! The school cake came with no custard and the strawberries were frozen solid inside! I appreciate you have to set the chocolate somehow but I was shocked to bite into a completely frozen strawberry, all 3 of them were frozen solid. We couldn’t eat them as we couldn’t actually bite them. Slightly disappointing. I’m not one to normally write reviews but I’m not entirely impressed

My order was over 1 hour late from estimated time still HAVE NOT GOT MY ORDER I do NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE poor poor delivery really slow requested a refund as my order has not been made to my door never again will I order from here in my life 📉

I’ve been holding on to the a while seeing as I was blackmailed by the company. I received the wrong product, a cheaper product than I ordered, and I approached them and they said I had to drive over and give the product back and they would exchange. I initially had requested and paid for delivery which they couldn’t do and I had to collect, no refund for the delivery charge. I then explained I didn’t drive and had to initially get a lift to collect and that was not possible again. They refused to exchange unless I made the journey, again I had paid for delivery originally which they could not complete so if they came to exchange it would literally be the initial delivery. Anyway I eventually said I can’t get over so I will keep the product, however can I get a refund on the difference in product price, I had bought a product £20 more expensive than the one received, however since then I had put a review on here. This is where it gets interesting and probably why they don’t have bad reviews…. They stated they would only give me a refund between the price of products if I took down the review!!! I will attach photos if I can to evidence the email. They withheld my £20 until I removed the review. The £20 which was simply the difference in products. All I asked for was that, I kept a cheaper product because of an error they made and asked for the difference but they refused until I took a review down. So I’ve been holding onto this a while.

Appalling. Ordered a truffle cheesecake for my sons birthday, they sent out the complete wrong order knowing it was wrong and without telling us. They then waited for us to open and refused a refund unless we took them back to the shop- from Essex!!! Very plain and nothing special either.

Ordered deserts for delivery. Driver did not want to walk up the stairs to the flat and told me to come down and get it. I said I paid for delivery so please deliver it. The driver walked up the stairs swinging the bag round and round so that the sauces burst open and leaked all over. The cheesecake was squashed in the packaging. Absolutely terrible service and the deserts didn't even taste that nice either. Please don't waste your money

Ordered food via just eat but food never arrived , tried ringing restaurant numerous times but got no answer. I have cctv outside my house and even double checked I hadn’t missed the delivery driver

Advertising nachos at £3 and showing cheese and salsa on their image of it but then only sending tortilla chips. I called and the guy on the phone wasn't helpful at all, they used to be fantastic but have gone way downhill in both quality and customer service. May as well have saved myself a pound and got doritos for £2 off their menu. I can't understand the logic, but after reading the businesses response to a couple of the reviews on Google, it's obvious they aren't what they once were and have rude and condescending people managing customers now

Horrible attitude of the manager towards both costumers and delivery drivers is horrifying that old lady thinks she owns the shop mean while she is only an over working staff!!! And plus dessert get delivered messy all the time no exemption, I’ve given them so many chances but they just don’t do the job!

Ordered a month in advance, they sent the wrong item due to stock, claimed they called but never left a voicemail, text, email etc so I’m left a day before an event with an alternative item that is much smaller, much cheaper, not even similar to what I ordered minus the flavour! and is of no use to me. No effort was made to tell me.

When ordering “cinema nachos” you’d expect warm and made nachos not all in separate containers ?! And having to warm things up yourself when you can’t, so thanks for tortillas and dip and the stuff to make them myself 🙄

Go to the supermarket. It will be a better dessert, cheaper, and you won't be bombarded with their spam emails that you never signed up for.

Ordered a cake for my granddaughters 16th birthday. Ordered delivery for Thursday day before her birthday as wouldn’t be in on the Friday. Wasn’t delivered. Couldn’t get through on phone, left loads emails, no answer. Cake delivered 3.58 on the Friday afternoon. Came home next morning no cake. What is the point of having a delivery day and they don’t stick to it. Delivery company said they only received the cake at 02.48 on the Friday morning. The customer service manager Martin is rude, arrogant. I have tried to get a refund, as they failed to honour the contract as stated in there terms and conditions. Would advise anyone to NOT to order anything from this company . Had to go and source another cake so not to spoil her day😡

Asked bakery to deliver cake after 5pm as we weren't home. They accepted our order and left the cake in front of the porch around 3pm. It sat in the sun for 2 hours. There was no one to speak to in customer service who could help and I wasn't informed. Complete waste of a cake...birthday ruined.

Ordered cheesecakes foe my mum birthday the, arrived late then the expected time The cheesecake i spent roughly 30.00 on included postage. They ended up in the bin the taste was awful sometging not quite right with them i feel like i been cheated and not only that embarrassed as they ended up in the bin U charged me 24.00 for 6 mini cheesecakes that were off and delivery charge of 7.00 dpd delivery which was 3 hours late And they want me to remove my review for acrefund if i dont then i dont get my money back cheaters

First cake did not even arrive at all, not even after the party, told second cake for another party would be half price, but then it still took 9 days to get half the price paid refunded. Should have been two cakes we got from them recently but we ended up only getting one half price cake out of two that were actually ordered.

Ordered two drinks that cost £10, neither came, rang the restaurant twice, first time I was told they would be delivered immediately, second time I was told it would be 20 minuets and they'd give me something free for the wait, they never showed up. Also the food was not great.

Prepare, you could be let down last minute and IGNORE the comment from the owner below. This is NOT a fake review - I ordered but was let down. Order 51577 Ordered a cake online, it was showing in stock, a few days later, on the afternoon of the eve of the birthday got a call saying it wasn't in stock and did I want something else. If you take an online order, process the payment, change the delivery date then at least make sure it's in stock! I wouldn't trust their website at all now. I think you need to get your process tidied up to avoid massive disappointment no matter how decent your cakes may be.

Waffles cold and hard but ate them and they satisfied the need for a sweet treat, nothing special so very disappointed. The sweet mix-ups were a disgrace. £2 each for sweets that looked old and the boiled sweets looked already sucked most of the sweets went in the bin and bought 2 bags of these! I appreciate it was a busy night with the Great North run taking place but you shouldn't take orders if you can't keep up with them. Treats like this are a one off for us so it was very disappointing and frustrating that it wasn't nice and the sweets went in the bin! Would be reluctant to use again.

Just Waited over 2hours for my delivery what a rubbish service

An hour and 40 minutes for delivery is canny mad! I was almost ready for bed by the time it arrived 😅 It's not insanely priced but I don't think it's worth it. If I wasn't stuck inside self-isolating, it would be quicker and cheaper and just as good to pop to the supermarket. Had a biscoff brownie but it was an Oreo brownie with a biscoff biscuit on top... Weird AF! Probably won't order with them again. There's better places that deliver desserts in the area.

Just got a big delivery of goodies from Desserts Delivered straight to my door for Joshy Boys' birthday and i must say that we all enjoyed every last bit of it. Some great treats in there, especially enjoyed the nachos with cheesey sauce. Unfortunately Josh wasnt here when it was delivered but im sure he wouldve enjoyed it much the same. I ordered on the first to be delivered to Perth, Scotland today (3rd) for my 10 year olds birthday,with absolutely no issues at all, well packaged and with no damage. Cake was lovely and although it may look a bit on the small side, looks can be deceiving. Will serve 10-12 no problem. My eldest has already picked his cake for his birthday they enjoyed it that much.

Absolutely awful. Delivery had taken an hour and 30 minutes to deliver for then to be given plain donuts when we had ordered toppings and melted ice cream. Absolutely would avoid at all costs, a company that doesn't care about good service or food. Response to the owner: it was ordered by my girlfriend so my name isn't on there but trust me the food was absolutely shocking

Very poor service from start to finish, I ordered a cake that was meant to serve up to 10 people, they sent a cake that was the size of a side plate. They tried charging me nearly £40 for a cake that was the same size as a cake from my local supermarket which only cost £9. Extremely sarcastic response from their customer services which seems to be a common theme by this seller. Escalated the claim via PayPal and was awarded a full refund. It’s a real shame that business like this try to con you out of your money and rip you off, standby for the sarcastic response to this review as they will have to have the last word!!!

Very disappointed. Ordered a cake on Tuesday (before 2) to be delivered for Thursday as it was for a birthday on Friday. I did this as it stated on the website that it sometimes is a day late. Paid just under £9 for the named day delivery and the cake was delivered 2 days late with zero communication about the status of the order. Only to be told that I should have read the terms and conditions properly! Once the cake was delivered they delivered someone else's cake with our order so someone else is going to be dissatisfied. The cake itself was delicious and amazing 😋 highly recommend for the taste! 🥰

If you think your delivery service is good then you clearly need to think again. My milkshake was tipped over when it arrived, so obviously your driver likes taking corners on two wheels. Secondly, the old school cake was the most pathetic thing I have ever seen, as it had barely no icing or sprinkles on and the custard was freezing. Also, the rainbow cake was not worth it for the price. This place has definitely gone down hill and I won’t be back.

We ordered a Cake for our daughter's birthday. We were late in ordering but a phone call to Jamie sorted everything out for us and the cake was delivered on time. Thank you for making our daughter's birthday special. Oh and yes the cake was tasty as well !

Really have no complaints! It was my first time using these guys and I ordered a cake for a specific day and it came on time with no problems, it was packed really well too. The cake looked amazing and looked exactly like the one I had ordered online was really happy with it and it tasted amazing as well my family loved it. My experience was a good one was really easy and smooth and will definitely be using this company again for future events. Thank you guys! :)

Can't believe how good the cake was that I ordered for my wife's birthday, beautifully presented, moist and delicious. FYI if you do need to contact them use the contact form on the website as it seems the admin team run limited hours in the day and only the bakery runs in the evening. There's no point trying to order your cake for the day you need it as it will keep and needs time to defrost anyway. I realised this and decided to change the delivery date just a couple of days before it was originally ordered to be sent and they managed to accommodate. The courier they used for me had live stop by stop tracking, which really took the stress out of buying a birthday cake from a nationwide delivery service. Definitely 5* product and service - the future of cake!

Made an order on deloveroo at 11.45pm. Order was confirmed for 20 min delivery. After 90mins I get a phone call from deloveroo saying they are closed and offered me a pathetic £5 credit. We sat around for ages waiting for this. Why did you accept the order if you knew you are not coming? My mobile is on the order and you could have called me if there was an issue. The driver even went to collect and ur shutters were down.

Two items missing and arrived over an hour late and melted. Refused a refund and told to stop calling. Resorted to claiming money back from credit card provider. Avoid if unless you want to take the risk of losing your money. Update: Owner has called me a liar as per the below but I can assure anyone reading this that he resolved sweet FA!

I would have given it zero!!! Delivery driver lost my parcel when he left it at a strangers address, I then had to knock on a number of doors and eventually found it. Contacted the courier company and made a complaint and also contacted DESERTS DELIVERED during the process of my parcel going missing and recieved an email, which proceeded to tell me that it had nothing to do with them and they were located in Newcastle and I must speak with the courier company myself. At the time, I explained that I did but needed their help as well since this is the courier service they used to deliver their goods but again the same operator Tony D who seemed to be the only person manning the emails would not help. We went back and fourth and the last email response proceeded to imply that regardless of my custom they had a great order value. As you are aware I managed to locate my parcel myself but with everything going on with covid 19 you can understand that having a parcel with food left at a strangers property, is very frightening. I urge you to think carefully when ordering from this company and if you do and your parcel goes missing they will not help or take any accountability regarding the matter and it would mean losing all your money. Also although the cake looked very pleasing to the eye when I eventually ate it, it was dry, however my son liked it but definitely not worth the money and I WOULD NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! I would like to add their responses to the reviews that have been bad are very abrupt, rude and aggressive (see trustpilot bad reviews) and they have made attempts to get them removed. P.S This review was reported on trustpilot but if you have repeat orders like you say then why care about one persons views? Take from that as you will... Buy at your own risk! Very disappointed customer.

First time ordering from a desert parlour tonight... Cheesecake base tasted burnt and portion size wasn't the best for money.. Was charged £1.50 for half of scoop of ice cream brownie came squashed up in a chunk of cling film and waffles was cold not good for the money we paid... Wouldn't recommend!!

I bought the hazelnut lovin' cake from these guys and I was not disappointed at all. The cake was shipped overnight all the way to the bottom end of the country where I live and arrived well packed and well preserved. I would most likely use them again for a special occasion.

The cakes are great, and the customer service is even better. Tony helped me sort an issue (not with his cakes. But with a ruddy hopeless courier) and saved the day with a replacement cake for my daughters 6th Birthday - Thanks again and we”ll be back for more :)

I ordered 2 waffles with 2 toppings each and 2 ice cream shakes with 1 topping each, they have currently took an hour and a half to arrive and I am still waiting, the delivery speed is awful as they said it would come at 22:30 and it's now 23:10 and still no sign of my order, hope it tastes nice. (When it eventually come)

Ordered a skittles cake, a reeses cake and a Nutella cheesecake. All delivered in less than half an hour from nearly 6 miles away and perfect. Shame my local cake place less than half a mile away can't live up to these standards and takes hours.

Ordered white chocolate waffle and apple pie. Pretzels on waffle were stale, barely any white chocolate and ridiculously small portions for the price! If i get a reply from the company similar to their other replies to other reviews I shan’t be pleased. Don’t waste your time, you’ll get better quality treats from your local newsagents! Or Asda Gaz, (British Patriot).

Order was late ice cream was melted and the sauce on waffle was so runny and none of the order was at all up to scratch

Yesterday I ordered 3 extra thick - having them thick takes an extra £1 - milkshakes form deserts delivered. The person who we originally called asked if it was okay if he would be able to give us two mediums instead of one large. That was fine with me and my two friends. It had taken an extra 1:30 hours of waiting until it had came. It had said it would come at 8:29 (ASAP) then it came at around 10. So when the person arrived she had said that it was really bitter. (I thought she was trying to get my sympathy). I then went upstairs and I opened the bag. The milkshakes were all melted and an tango ice blast had a slit through it. I payed £18 for thick flavourless milk and a broken plastic cup. So I had inboxes them on Instagram saying I would like a refund. They then blocked me. - Milly Teeney. No response from customer service. What customer service? Edit: is this the way your policy for everyone or just us. Or do you just block them?

Ordered about 10:56 and got a email about 11:45 saying it has been dispatched it is now 12:30 and order still isn’t here. I’ve ordered from here before and normally good at time keeping
