Munch in Ryedale

Hi all. Claire and I have just returned from a short break in Weaverthorpe, North Yorkshire. We stayed at The Blue Bell Inn from a trusted recommendation. This is a delightful country inn in the small village of Weaverthorpe, not far from Filey. The room was nicely appointed with a comfortable double bed and decent en-suite shower room. Larger guest rooms are also available. The food here is excellent. The menu and wine list provide a good range of options. This is very much a high standard gastro pub and we both loved the food. Breakfasts are also very good with waitress served cooked breakfast options available. Finally, the staff are both professional and very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and we really enjoyed our stay there. Enjoy.

I miss not living in pickering as moved to kirkbymoorside this is by far the best fish and chip around everything is cooked fresh along with the chips being cooked like someone said in small batches and nothing is greasy its a must visit if you go to pickering

We have passed the fox and rabbit inn for several years and always thought it looked appealing from the outside, with the fantastic weather at the weekend we decided to stop and enjoy a drink and some food in the pleasant outdoor seating area. We received a warm friendly welcome Along with fantastic food and service. Well priced home-cooked food would highly recommend.

Mi amigo y yo visitamos como sabemos que este lugar es el único lugar para conseguir comida en esta parte de la ciudad todo el día hasta las 5 de la tarde, ambos ordenados pinini que era servido con una guarnición de ensalada y precioso un puñado de patatas fritas las rústicas. Esto era más que suficiente para una comida ligera, mi amigo comenzó a sentir mal y necesitamos volver a casa para medicamentos, la señora amablemente envuelto nuestro medio comer comidas, así que podías llevar con nosotros. Excelente servicio y amable miembro del personal. He comido aquí antes y siempre satisface el apetito con una comida muy sabrosa.

It was my first visit and I was not disappointed. I loved all the restaurants, cafes and shops. It was market day while we were there but as it had snowed, only a few stalls came. We certainly got friendly service from the stall holders though. I shall go back for another visit soon, but book everything in advance, especially the restaurants, which get very busy.
