Mum’s Juicy Spice Takeaway in Gloucester

Absolutely fantastic!!!! We had a huge delivery to our workplace today for 80 plus people and Mama didn’t disappoint. The food was sooooo good!! Hot fresh true Jamaican style food, if I could give more than five stars, I would handsdown the best Jamaican in Gloucestershire.

Mum's Juicy Spice is the best Caribbean meal I've ever had, hands down! Only being in town for one night, I knew I had to try the jerk chicken, curry goat and oxtail, and it was all terrifically. The jerk chicken was perfectly cooled with a smoky bbq taste, and it come with a very generous amount of sweet and tangy sauce, it was really lovely. The curry goat was incredibly tended and full flavoured, while the oxtail was also falling off the phone. Super reasonably priced too! If I'm ever back in town, I'll be coming again

The best service ever, the lady made our big order on her day off when there was a mistake with Gloucester eats and also gave us extras, went above and beyond and the food was amazing too. Will defo be ordering again 😍😍😍

Order goats curry on Julie’s recommendation, so tender and beautiful flavour. The extra piece of fry chicken was a bonus and was cooked perfectly.

The porridge is awesome! I once went in a bit late and got curry chicken because it's all they had left, and half of it was so cold...I asked for takeaway as I live close by, so wasn't too pleased...waiting times are ridiculous

This is the BEST carribbean takeaway in Gloucestershire. Just had the Bari fry chicken with rice & peas and a festival - DELICIOUS! The shop reminds me of Jamaica, I’m going to try the rest of the menu. Thank you Mums Juicy Kitchen - your food is authentic!

Normally go here for food. However the meal I had the other day made me sick as a dog. Cakes are overly priced considering they are from Costco for £12 for a large one.

Called Mum juicy spice when my order didn't arrive 35 minutes after it was due to arrive. I got the worse customer service from the woman on the phone. Before I could even finish my sentence, the she cut me off saying "yes it's late". I asked how she knew who I was, she said you're GL1... I replied saying no that's incorrect. To which she hang up on me after she repeated "yes it's late". Not even giving me an idea of the status of my order or even apologizing. Business been so hard for everyone, you'd think they'd have a minimum of decency and be more professional with their customers. But she clearly didn't care. Gloucester Eat later told me it was blamed on the new delivery guy and it wasn't him who hang up in me!! When my order arrived, it was cold and extremely salty. It must have been hot when they packed the take away because the icing from the carrot cakes had melted. 100% disaster and I'll never order from them again and will definitely not recommend them. Gloucester Eat on the other hand were as professional as ever and dealt with the issue like it should have been.

Jamaican jerk chicken with rice and peas. They lied got nothing but dry chicken with boiled rice and a pot of sweet and sour sauce. May aswell have gone and got a chinese

My favourite jamaican take out. Stew chicken red velvet and chicken soup are to die for. FAB JOB

The festival's waste bitter Order large chicken soup one small piece of chicken and soup had back flavour nothing nit satisfied customer at all and it's not the first time
