Mumbai Tadka in Wandsworth

Friendly service and well priced but I opted for a chicken shish which was very average. The salad wasn’t very fresh and the meat wasn’t very juicy.

We ordered chicken tikka masala & prawn Jalfrezi , the chicken tikka masala was ok but were do I start with the jalfrezi , it was way to spicy the small prawn were like bullets , very chewy , I couldn’t eat my meal , it looked like slop. We do love a Indian takeaway but this is by far the worst jalfrezi I’ve eaten.

Hemos vivido en el área durante años y hemos luchado para encontrar una comida para llevar india decente. Encontré este lugar en línea y decidí darle una oportunidad. El servicio fue de primera categoría, hicimos nuestro pedido y fuimos al East Hill para tomar una bebida rápida mientras se preparaba el pedido. La comida una vez en casa fue excelente y todavía estaba caliente! Definitivamente volveremos a ordenar desde aquí.

Dentro de la familia el servicio y la comida era estupenda. Currys vegetarianos muy bien aromatizados sin mucho aceite. Verduras recién cocinado no blandas así que todavía eran un poco al denté. No se puede comer y parece poco fiable desde el exterior, pero la comida una vez que llegues a casa es genial. Uno de los mejores currys que he probado en Londres como la mayoría de Londres no son currys tan buenas como las que crecí con el triángulo balti.

Staying in London with my sister and was looking for a good take away in the Fullham/Putney area, at the time they were doing 20% off food orders so recieved an £11 discount. The food was all excellently cook and arrived in about half an hour from ordereing. The curried lentils were too spicey for some of my party. The only dissapointing dish was the samosas which cost £3.75 for only 2 samosas and came with lentils and salad which were not wanted.

Average food, meal had very spicy label but couldn't taste the spice at all. Better takeaways out there

I collected. Food was cold and I arrived in advance of stated collection time. Breads are very small and expensive.

Lamb rogan josh a bit runny and the meat very chewy, not as good as the one in my last order. The rest was very good.

Lamb Bhuna and mushroom rice was tasty. Peshwari naan was very disappointing.

Best takeaway curry I've had for ages!

Food was very salty but otherwise good quality. Chicken lollipops were a nice different take on chicken wings, perhaps a bit too much batter like coating but tasty. Lamb Bhuna was good with not too much oil on the top when delivered. Delivery was super super quick.

Chicken Korma was very watery & a bit tasteless 😞

5* Indian food and exactly how Indian food should be marinated and cooked!

The food's good, but the ordered popodoms were broken in plastic bag in tiny pieces, no extras thrown in. Will most likely go elsewhere next time

Food was ok. The lamb organ josh was rather bare. I could count the number of prawns in the prawn masala - 5. It seems like a pre made sauce tossed with some meat. Didn't appear to be freshly made.

Fantastic, tasty and spicy meal. Could be more competitive with other takeaways in the sw19/sw18 areas offering freebies (poppadoms/chutney/little desserts) for higher spend or loyal customers :) have ordered before and would do it many times again. P.S. I am from the subcontinent and can vouch for the freshness of the dishes (it's definitely harder to please a native!)

Best Indian in West London! I'm massively particular and their food is ALWAYS fresh and tasty. I never finish a meal and feel let down.

The takeaway service and delivery time were good. However, the food was really poor. I had chicken masala whilst my girlfriend had chicken korma and in both instances the chicken was tough and chewy. The bombast aloo was tasteless and the potatoes tasted old and past their best. The popadoms were chewy as well. I was really surprised by some of the reviews to be honest. Definitely not using again.

Tried Mumbai Tadka for the first time and all I have to say that the food was really delicious (I'm very picky when it comes to Indian food by the way), delivery lighting fast and very friendly. From now on this is our number 1 Indian takeaway in SW18!

The sauces are quite watery but flavoursome. Forgot to order poppadoms as we've found that other takeaways give them for free.

It really wasn't very nice! I don't understand all the good reviews. We ordered a chicken and a lamb dish and they both tasted of water. We couldn't taste any of the actual ingredients. I don't know if they had only been marinaded for a short time and none of the flavours had came through but they were both tasteless. The restaurant were good with customer service though and we were able to get our money back. The delivery man was also very friendly and food was delivered within 30 mins.

The chicken chettinand was excellent but the bhindi was not good at all-it was not fresh and was stringy. The delivery time was very good!

Lovely food, a really good curry.

Awesome tasty food, particularly the lamb chops and chicken kauai. The chilli coriander chutney is a welcomed bonus

Delicious food I had the following and would recommend:. Chicken tikka masala Garlic naan Pea and mushroom rice Veg samosa They even included a complementary chick pea side salad/curry which was amazing.

Delivery time was perfect and the food was still quite warm, however the taste was just average.

Their tandoori chicken is just to die for! Juicy, succulent and bursting with flavor. I can not recommend it enough.

Almost very, very good, but slightly let down by: 1 a few potatoes in the chicken vindaloo, masquerading as poultry; and 2 the sea bass in the fish curry appeared to have been fried and then added to the curry. The flavours were excellent, and the curries were reassuringly free from oil (unlike many Indian takeaways).

Hooray! Finally an Indian takeaway in SW London that tastes like homemade food. The tandoori chicken was soft and juicy and the green chicken curry absolutely delicious. Only downside was that the quality of the meat in the lamb chops could have been better, but the flavours are perfect. Thank you for a great meal, we will definitely order from you again.

I cannot rate Mumbai Tadka highly enough! I had a last minute party, they were on time, great quantities, very well cooked food. All my guests loved it. I'm so impressed with them.

This place is amazing! Not only the food is really good, fresh, original, healthy, and not oily; but also the deilvery time is superb! I finish placing my order, and the driver is by my door in a few minutes.

Gorgeous Curry - Always piping hot, with an amazing amount of lavish ingredients and perfect texture - the nan bread was piping hot, and melted in the mouth, amazing food from a local gem - order with confidence!!

Where to start... possibly the worst indian takeaway I've ever had! I was asked to give a good review by the guy delivering the takeaway and being a new customer I had high hopes. Sadly, the squid was not crispy and the batter was positively slimey, the naan was both soggy and burnt (how they managed that, i'm not sure) and the curry was like water (I saw this in a previous review but thought it was one of those customers who just like a moan), and was also tasteless (I thought that your earlier message regarding this same problem was also a good sign as you stated you were going to improve this)! The only thing that was edible was the rice. Very disappointed and will not use again!

By some margin that was the best Indian we've had around here. Mainly ordered vegetarian dishes and each and every one was fantastic. Delivered quickly and in a huge turn up for the books the delivery guy was genuinely an absolute delight, I'm not sure that's ever happened in the history of takeaway.

This place is fantastic. I ordered several times, and I think the food is very flavorful, with amazing quality, and without being heavy or oily. Highly recommend.
