Nice cafe but dog owners have to sit outside in rain. Why not build a shelter?

Views are the best bit. Service was very slow, took about 10 minutes for 1 Americano, a soft drink can and a flapjack. Many tables needed to be cleared. Limited food options available on a Saturday lunchtime, and few sweet treats. The coffee was as you'd expect but a good size. The apricot flapjack was lacking flavour and was soft requiring minimal chewing. Good selection of cold drinks.

Nice little garden centre cafe. Food itself was pretty good although a little on the higher side in regards to price. Quality overall was nice and would definitely go again.

We came here today with our 2 year old and were really disappointed! The food (just a jacket potato and aandwich) took 40 minutes to arrive! The tables were messy and I had to clear ours before we sat down. Although the food itself was fine, the portions were really small. Possibly the smallest jacket I've ever had with just one spoonful of filling in it. And it cost £9.99!!! Unfortunately, they'd also microwaved it and half of the bottom was rock solid. There was no apology for the wait, which made no sense because the place was practically empty. We both went away hungry. Such a shame because we had heard great things and the view up there is beautiful.

We had lunch here and really enjoyed it. I had a nice Welsh Rarebit and a cup of soup, the wife had a jacket potato with lemon tuna mayonnaise. All tasted great. These two meals, a bottle of rhubarb lemon, a bottle of ginger beer and a packet of crisps was less than £30. There was a big range of lovely looking cakes, teas and coffees, but we were a bit full to have anything else.

Went on a nursery trip to the Garden centre and decided to stop at the cafe for coffee and cake. As the 6 children with us were under 3 we gave them a cracker while we went to order. Was told we couldn't stay as no outside food allowed. Explained we were buying coffees and it was just cracker because the children were hungry but we're told we had to leave. Asked if I could at least breastfeed my baby but said no outside food as there is a security camera and head office will tell them off!

Lovely food however it was a cold day and the girl behind the counter opened the external door wide open, a customer closed it and she stormed over to the door muttering and opened it wide again, lots of elderly customers were in a cold draught, numerous people complained and eventually the door was closed but it ruined the atmosphere

We stopped going here previously because the food wasn’t good, but when they changed to Mulberry & Thyme we went back and have been going there every Saturday afternoon. We have jacket potatoes, baguettes and sandwiches and the food is very nice and they are always quick to deliver the food. The staff have changed from when it was the old cafe and they are all very polite and friendly. Especially George, who is aways happy and welcoming! The cafe has been redecorated and it is always very clean and it is nice to see how busy it is getting now that it has improved so much! They have homemade mini pots of condiments that you help yourself to amongst the sugar etc We will continue going every Saturday and look forward to visiting the lovely cafe :)

When living in Bath for most of my life I used this garden centre cafe many many times. Fantastic food, good service. Oh dear what has happened. Visited today on a visit from Cornwall. Probably one of the hottest days of the year. Asked the girl to put the one umbrella up outside, I emphasise 1, only to be told it was broken . As it was impossible to sit outside in the heat we stayed in the cafe Unbearable . The small transit windows were closed and there was not a fan in sight. Two staff who I appreciate must have been hot but did not rush to serve . Stale scones . Eventually we found a small corner in the shade outside where 4 of us squeezed in. Thus must improve or I am sure it will not carry on functioning .

Ploughman's was quite possibly the worst I've ever had. My husband paid 7.99 for cheese and ham baguette which arrived a long time after my 'food' and little more than pre sliced cheese and packet ham slapped in between a solid roll. Staff need training in customer service, or work away from the public.

Really disappointed with the food . My husband had the ploughman’s and was offered no condiments and the advertised sour dough was old bread . I had a pannini and it was rock hard and falling apart . It didn’t even resemble a pannini . Will definitely not be going back

Absolutely awful experience, massively dissatisfied with all aspects of the service this place provides. Been a regular customer for roughly 3 years and until now I’ve never had an issue bar some sub par delivery temps which they’re not responsible for. Tonight however the curry sauce is more like a dirty beige block of plain gelatine that’s been heavily diluted and sat for hours and the egg fried rice was hard, absolutely saturated in something and completely tasteless, yet to see any egg. When I called the restaurant to address this I was met with a man who barely understands English and virtually told me I’m lying because everything is always cooked the same, usually I would agree which is why I haven’t had a single complaint prior to this but I’m not calling for the fun of it. Ignorant and rude very triggering definitely shouldn’t be answering the phones and dealing with customers. No apologies or solutions offered just refusal that my food was different to usual. I work in hospitality and restaurants myself so I don’t complain lightly

We came to Bath for a couple of days getaway and having eaten out at various places on previous trips here we decided to give the restaurant at our favourite hotel (Apex) a try. On the first night the food was so good and the table service was very attentive - we felt very well looked-after! So we decided to return to the restaurant another day and booked the Cote de Boeuf platter - they need 24 hours notice to prepare the half-a-cow's worth of beef on the bone. The beef was cooked perfectly to our preference (rare). Everything was so nice we decided to have a pudding too - an earl grey panna cotta and the sticky toffee pudding went down very well after such a decadent main!
