Definitely need to book! There is never an empty table. We booked for 7:45pm and wanted to see if we could be seated a bit earlier but there is no flexibility with bookings so we had to come back at our exact time slot. The food was amazing!! And so was the service. We all loved the dish with the duck, couldn’t get enough!

Okay so I'm very disappointed by this place. Too cramped, felt so close to the other people, toilets are down the stairs and a slippery floor (not disabled friendly so if you are disabled avoid) Not much on the menu for vegan and the whole experience was shockingly bad. I think the only thing that was great was the waiter. I have had better food for the price. We both felt we weren't welcomed to enjoy the experience. We were 5 mins late and even being 5 mins late we felt we were rushed to eat the food and leave. We got to dessert and they said sorry we can’t do dessert because we can't cater for vegan and have another booking in 20mins. Excuse me! What happen to good customer service? The dessert was only for my partner so surely a quick dessert would of been fine. Look after your people and stop trying to book so many people in 1 evening. You will just get bad reviews. If you want better reviews I suggest putting up the prices and giving a better experience.

I love the food at Muino. The internal decor is vibrant and inviting with brilliant and attentive service. The sourdough foccacia is delicious, and the smoked aubergine dip makes the perfect accompaniment. The grilled duck breast is phenomenal and perfectly cooked whilst the grilled prawns are so fresh and just melt in your mouth. The portions aren’t the biggest (given the price) and despite having 8 dishes between the two of us, we were still a little hungry.

I took my partner to muino on Monday. I was extremely impressed by the service we received throughout the meal. The waiter was extremely attentive. The dishes we got were the hummus with grilled bread, jamon croquettes, triple cooked potatoes, slow cooked lamb, grilled prawns and marinated chicken thigh skewers. All the dishes were really good however the cooked potatoes were a bit of a let down. They were dry inside and soggy on the outside with no satisfying crisp. This is my only criticism but overall a fantastic experience.

Hands down the best tapas bar in Bristol. The atmosphere is really cozy, the staff is very polite and the food is simply delicious (slow cooked lamb and duck breast were my favourites). We were there for my birthday dinner with a group of friends and everyone loved it. I’m extremely satisfied with my choice. The prices may be slightly above the average but it’s worth for the experience. P.S. Make sure to make a reservation 1-2 weeks in advance as it’s pretty popular, especially at the weekends. Incredible food, one of the best in Bristol, I will be dreaming about it- the lamb and potatoes are next level. The staff are also extremely attentive and well versed on their dishes to easily advise with my allergy requirements.

A beautiful quaint restaurant with incredible, friendly service! The food is just WOW! It completely blew us away with beautiful takes on tapas favourites and the new pumpkin and tahini dip was a real highlight! Thank you Muino for a gorgeous evening, we'll be back soon ☺️

Bloody Great! The food here was interesting and delicious, not your standard Tapas. Perfect food for sharing in a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere with friendly & welcoming staff.

Food was ok, portion is extremely small given the price tag. I ordered a peach salad basically a peach cup in pieces 5 cherry tomatoes with some mint and sauce. It cost £10. Tiny piece of hake is £13. Two very small chicken skewers more than £10 I remember. Taste of the food was ok. Not blown away. Not planning to come again

The hake was very well prepared. Overall everything was good but the prawns slightly overcooked and steak has umami flavours but not amazing. Chimichurri was ok. Price is high but expected for tapas in Bristol.

Incredible place. The food was fantastic. Atmosphere was really lovely and servers were knowledgeable and attentive. Highlights were the steak brevette with Celeriac, Hake and cavolo nero and the beetroot and orange labneh, but all were delicious 😋

Owner/manager extremely nice. Have been served there before, also extremely considerate and attentive service. Delicious tapas, even just the olive oil with bread is mind-blowing. Everything is so well selected. Could eat the padron peppers with a glass of red all evening! Fish dishes were delicious.

Lovely waiter. He just started recently and made us have a very personal experience. We sat outside and there was a good atmosphere. Had lots of yummy food - the olives were so good and the potatoes were the best!!!! Will definitely be returning when I move to Bristol.

I came across this restaurant through a friend. I lived in Spain for many years and can be deemed a bit of a snob. This was a very solid 8 on food even though a very busy restaurant with minimal staff, the quality was great and it flew out. Service, hospitality, atmosphere. All brilliant, and pretty authentic if you're looking for that hole in the wall tapas vibe. Great..

Our first time eating at Muino, we were served by a lovely waiter Andy who gave recommendations, interesting facts and great conversation. We really enjoyed our time here and the food was outstanding. Would definitely recommend, especially the chicken thigh, pork belly and beetroot!

Had a wonderful meal on Friday at 7.30pm for my 30th. They were very busy but the staff were friendly and attentive clearing used plates and offering more drinks. Food and drinks arrived quickly, all tasted great we had focaccia, croquettes, mackerel, pork belly and chicken. Only thing that could be improved is the sangria tasted ready mixed and was more like juice.

We tried all 4 of the vegetarian plates and the Hummus dip. Liked the beetroot the most. Peppers not so much. The chocolate orange tort was delicious. Service was excellent.

We came here when our daughter was visiting us from U.S. Great place, brilliant food. Tasty and presented well on a plate. Alex looked after us and busy he was but very efficient and a pleasant guy. Would come back here.

We had a fantastic time at Muino last night. We were quite hungry when we arrived and I was worried that it was going to take long for the food we ordered to arrive but everything arrived quickly, our order was taken promptly and whenever we needed to ask a question or order more, someone was always there to help. The food was just amazing. Everything we ordered was well seasoned and delicious. Everything on the plate went well together. This was our second time at Muino. We returned because of our first experience which was, needless to say excellent as well.

Lovely small restaurant serving a great selection of Tapas style dishes-we had Croquetas, chicken skewers, the hummus, Hake and the crispy fried potatoes. All delicious, fantastic service and really tasty food. Highly recommend

We only ordered Veggie tapas which was all lovely, but the plates were small, so it worked out very expensive. With wine it was over £50 a head and some of our group were still hungry on leaving.

I was very hyped on Muino and I couldn't wait to try it last week but at the end it was just the average restaurant. Maybe it's a good place to meet friends and spend some time together but if you are looking for somewhere with tasty food then I will strongly suggest to look for a different restaurant on the same street. You will find much better options. We have ordered 1 starter and 5 tapas. Each dish was coming pretty slow so we never had more than 2 dishes at the same time on our table. We were really hungry, so I took a picture only of 2 first plates. Each dish was OK but nothing above this. It's very standard and generic tapas which will be forget in Spain. Menu contains food which you probably seen in other places so you will not find here anything exciting, new or experimental which can inspire you. Of course it's nothing wrong with it and not everyone is looking for that type of food but those dishes are not even above average level. It has been a day after my dinner in Muino and I already forgot what I ordered and what was the tasty of those dishes. The ingredients are also not the best: my partner had king prawn (which cost £3.5 per each) and it felt not fresh at all. I'm glad we didn't order another seafood. Also it's worth to mention that portions are extremely small and for the dinner here for 2 people you will probably pay around £50-60 (not including drinks).

I might have to say, this may just be my favourite place to eat in Bristol.

Fabulously tasty food. Only given three stars because as soon as we arrived we were told they needed the table in 2hrs, then told the same again by a different member of staff. We were a table of 4, but sat on, it felt like, a table for 2. So very cramped. It’s a tapas restaurant so unable to order too much as it wouldn’t fit the tapas dishes with drinks. Felt very rushed and cramped, which is a real shame because the few dishes we had were delicious.

The best tapas in Bristol. I went here with a Spanish friend and they said it was as good as the food from home!

Went to muino for my 30th birthday meal and every single dish was delicious it was hard to choose a favourite but the beetroot and potatoes were up there. Really friendly staff and lovely ambience would deffo go back ☺️

Buzzing little restaurant. All the food we tasted was very good. One waiter who was good at his job even though he was running the entire front of house. Felt very much like how tapas should be served.

Absolutely 5 out of 5. The cod was absolutely amazing.

The staff, the food, the wine, THE DESSERT!! Honestly it was all so good! The only hard part of dining here is trying to decide what to actually order as the food was all so delicious! The ox cheek was so tender it melted in your mouth, the butternut squash was a really wonderful balance of texture and flavors. And whatever you do save room for dessert!! The white chocolate cheesecake was noteworthy!! Also, thank you so much to the staff as one of our table has a nut allergy and I have celiacs disease and they never missed a beat and they took care to ensure that we were safe with each of our plates.

A perfect intimate date night restaurant. The nibbles of croquettes and ciabatta were delicious. We had small plates of the crispy roasted potatoes, Pork belly, Ox cheek, chicken skewers and oven roasted cod. Every dish was incredible in its own right, beautifully cooked and presented.

Fab service, AMAZING food. We were tempted by (and asked for) one of everything, but our supremely sane and personable server guided us to the best, freshest dishes, and none of them disappointed. Wine list is tophole too! RECOMMEND UNRESERVEDLY!

A lovely laid back restaurant but with very good standards and amazing friendly staff. The food although casual dining was presented very well with a good choice for all dietary needs. Team were so helpful, friendly and accommodating for a larger booking which kept changing in size! Food was delicious overall & different to the standard Spanish tapas you get in the UK (also, the grilled bread sounds basic, but it will change your life - we were all still talking about how delicious it was afterwards). Good atmosphere but a little loud for older people (can’t be helped on a Friday night in a small place though). Hidden gem, independently owned so not the usual tired formula. You can tell the owners care about the place. Food excellent: good combinations of flavour well cooked and seasoned. The duck was a standout

We went here last Saturday and it was some of the best tapas we have had. Everything was fresh and hot and delicious. We were served by Lizzy and James who were super friendly and gave great recommendations! The duck, potatoes and courgette salad in particular were superb!

Super high quality, all produce used is the best. Every dish was packed with flavour well seasoned. Service was spot on and every dish came at the correct time. Highly highly recommend!! Only thing is portions are small and not cheap, but quality is never cheap.

Booked here via FirstTable so received 50% off the bill which was great value for money but food was really delicious so would definitely come back and pay full price.
