Mughal Spice in Wigan

Totalmente mentira si fuera honesto sería un buen lugar honestidad le conseguiría mejores críticas. La segunda vez que tuvimos una mala experiencia, se honesto y obtendrá buenos resultados.

Absolutely ridiculous no food delivered and they say it has Ripped off never would try and order from here again

we ordered our food on 02/08/23 the food arrived late as they had wrote the wrong address down to start with, the food was now cold as the driver had the wrong address, they had forgotten to put the sauces for our samosa and other starters, in short the service and food was diabolical, to many other takeaways to consider going here again, not even bothered when we rang to say what had happened

Absolutely shocking service said food would be delivered in an hour now over an hour late and they keep saying 5 minutes will never use again don’t bother lots of Indian restaurants out there to choose from

Food was an hour late but was well worth the wait . Had lamb chefs special wow it was amazing , kids had chicken tikka masala and gave it a big thumbs up . Will def be ordering again

i had traveled by Rail from Bristol to Wigan on a Sunday, The journey had taken six and a half hours on a Sunday and I wanted a decent curry and a pint to restore my soul. I had checked out the above online and it seemed to have potential. It is very close to Wigan Wallsend Station on King Street West. At 7.30 pm, there were no customers. It is not licensed but this is not stated on their website. There is no BYO. I ordered a basic Lamb Madras and Pulao Rice. In the absence of a beer, the waiter tried to flog me some up priced bottled water and was eventually persuaded to give me a glass of warm tap water as requested. The meal came commendably quickly. Not much meat. Sauce heavily reliant on tomato puree. Pulao rice OK. Proprietor friendly after my meal. and told me that the centre of Wigan had not recovered after Covid and that his trade was largely takeaway. Edible but does not compare with the unpretentious local Bangladeshi restaurant down the road in Bristol which is much better, cheaper and has BYO. I like British Asian cookery which I feel is unfairly maligned and can be great. This one was barely edible. Cannot recommend.

Tried this takeaway for the first time tonight I went with Mughal Spice & it was really nice 👌🏻chicken was cooked perfectly & the Madras sauce was very tasty, pilau rice good, garlic & coriander Nan was light & not too doughy. Popadoms fresh & crispy & the mango 🥭 chutney the best I’ve ever tasted. Bang on time with free delivery 🚚 Sorry no photos we was too hungry 🤤 From my experience I can highly recommend

Waited 2 hours for food, already paid via just eat - exceeded delivery time, had to phone and food hadn’t left shop yet. This is second time it has taken this long, won’t be ordering again - even if the food is half decent, if was mainly cold when arrived as well which was at 10pm. Disappointed as the shop isn’t far away from where I live.

This was the first time we’ve tried Mughal Spice. We ordered via Just Eat. The delivery was a little late but the food was delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.
