I’m a regular visitor to the cafe usually ordering just a green tea. On this occasion I was tempted by the bacon ciabatta. Boy was I not disappointed, a lightly toasted ciabatta bun was filled with rashers of bacon. It was delicious. I always find the staff friendly and welcoming and would like to give special praise to Andrea who always goes above and beyond.

We popped into M&S Cafe for a spot of lunch for my mums birthday in the afternoon and we enjoyed every mouthful of food, I had the fish & chips which was delicious and considering the portion size was very good value for money, my mum had the crumpet topped with Welsh rarebit and she didn't leave a crumb and especially enjoyed the chutney and my daughter could not decide what to have so she had the cheese and tomato pizza and the cheese toastie and nearly ate both meals...not bad considering she's only 3 😂 the service was great from start to finish and we couldn't of asked for more from our waitress Andrea, very friendly and even brought my daughter some paper and crayons aswell as Tracy who was very helpful while placing our order on the till and was clued up on the menu and extremely pleasant. We will definitely be visiting again soon

We called here for a breakfast on 3d Friday in March .My wife and I had sausage ciabatta, granola yogurt porridge with berry compote ,and 2 flat whites. .All tasty & flat whites too. Friendly staff

I am disabled and I dont want to search for s table. Every table that has not got anybody eating there the tables are dirty. I have never seen such a mess. Will think again about coming again. Really disgusting.

Awful attitude of older staff. (I’m in my 60’s and an older lady next to me commented how apalled she was too). Ordered a cheesy rarebit crumpt and that’s what was presented no chutney as advertised. ‘We’ve run out’ so tough said the older server. I had to ask another server for some ketchup to make it taste better. A grubby knife presented and felt I could not ask for a replacement. Serious need for staff training here and for better leadership. Very tired and there are young staff we need positive training not being offered by current older staff.

Ordered the spicy chicken ciabatta and it was awful. It was so tough, dry and inedible. We always think to go there would be a treat but always disappointed. The coffee is not much better. Don’t think we’ll go again, waste of money.

I always look forward to my cup of tea and a scone in M&S cafe whenever I go to Prestatyn. The plain scones are my favourite treat. The cafe though is always busy, so you need to be patient.

We called here for a quick coffee etc with my brother and his wife on the last Saturday morning in August .My wife and I had flat whites and the others lattes etc and scone. Our flat whites were really good

Not clean by staff i was in last night and ask about the cafe a lady wear all black was rude to me I ask about the food she say she was cleaning she was watching a lady cleaning it it was Monday night

We come here twice a week. The staff are brilliant and the service excellent. The food selection is good something for everyone.

Visited with family. Good service, refreshments hot and fair price. Staff were very hot on to clear tables and sanitise areas which was really good to see.

Shopping trip snack. Very clean and tidy. Staff welcoming. Not a huge selection but enough for what we needed

A cold welcome by the lady taking Covid trace details, followed by tepid airline-style scrambled eggs with a serving of ‘Nimble‘ type toast. The smoked salmon could not be criticised. We will not be back.

Very organised, clean and safe. Coffee and cake always lovely. I prefer it now it's less busy! Staff were very helpful too.

Disappointed..... Two coffees both lukewarm. Two portions of toast one very underdone, both had obviously been sat awhile before being brought to table so the very cold butter could not be spread. Service somewhat lacking, food slow to arrive and a general feeling of no-one cares. For the price a total rip-off...

We called in for lunch today as food is good, staff are normally ok but today they had no idea. My husband went and ordered after a long time in a small queue he said that the assistant on till didn’t seem to know how things worked, she never offered the free collectibles that are now on offer if you purchase anything in the cafe, so I asked a young member of staff and she had no idea and went to find out, I’m still waiting for her response. Over twenty minutes later I ask another member of staff and she had no idea either, went to assistant on till who gave her a couple of the said collectibles. If you are promoting a product, whether it is free or not, staff should know about the promotion. In the time we were there the assistant on the till only offered the promotion to people with children, I collect them for our grandchildren. I would like to say that the jacket potatoes we had were hot and delicious with a lovely fresh side salad. We went downstairs to do our food shopping and the assistant on the till offered the promotion as soon as all our shopping had gone through.

I called here with my wife & elderly mother for lunch. I had a sausage & onion toastie and flat white. The others had jacket potatoes with chill beans and coleslaw with 2 pots of tea .The queue to pay for meals and to order drinks was large and this needs to be better organised to maybe having 2 order/pay points available .However this was the only downside as food was really tasty and one of the best flat whites I have had at an M & S Cafe

Quite disappointing to be honest. We arrived mid morning and tables were filthy and the range of sandwiches/items in the chiller was dire. Same with the options of availability for the kids lunch choices.Coffee tasted good. In general needs more attention to detail in respect of cleanliness and sticky floors.

As always in M&S cafes, very busy but the usual high standard of coffee and food. Their coffee is so good. Enjoyed a flat white this time.

Eaten here on my partners birthday weekend, will not be returning. Food was dismal. Staff were very unfriendly and seemed like they didnt even want to be there

Come to M&S Prestatyn quite a lot as easy to feed baby and handy for a quick coffee Staff could be a little more welcoming in the food court and happier Food is always overcooked .. especially the Chilli Baked Potatoe

Ordered scrambled egg on toast. The scrambled egg was delivered on the plate with toast around the edges. The scrambled egg was so over cooked, it was difficult to scoup it onto the toast. I'd forgotten how badly some cafe's cook scrambled egg. The egg bounced around the plate like rubber, very disappointing, it's not as though the food is cheap.

Called in for a coffee and a toastie, very nice coffee had better toasties! Couldn’t fault the service or cleanliness.

Came for a quick shop with four children aged 0-16, ended up having lunch. Really impressed! Friendly helpful staff. Especially the ladies on customer service who helped me find somewhere comfy to breastfeed whilst looking after the other three. Thankyou.

Had to go in M&S; to use the toilet because there wasn't one in the station. The staff were helpful and polite the café was clean and you could help yourself to cold water the coffee was good but the toastie was a bit soggy

We had the afternoon tea for 2 deal today & it was delicious £15.?? Sorry I can't remember the exact price but we'll worth the money a very good selection of sandwiches cakes & drinks i couldn't fault it at all & the staff were lovely very helpful & polite thank you

This cafe is open and spacious. The staff and friendly and helpful. The menu is great if you are looking for either a coffee and snack, or a light lunch.

A busy little cafe, the staff are always friendly, they make a decent cappuccino and the scone with jam & cream is gorgeous, they have a limited menu compared to larger stores.

Often go into M & S to shop and on ocasions go into the cafe for either lunch or coffee and cake. Plenty of different options on the menu which are tasty including the lovely cakes. The coffee is good too with a lovely flavour. The cafe is contemporary in style and it has a relaxed atmosphere.

I just wanted a drink and cake and take in the lovely view of the mountains. Very nice it was too (and the view ) but ohhh M&S; you let me down on the cleanliness of the cafe. Floor was quite bad and Tables not cleared for a while and it wasn’t busy today. Lots of chatting going on in the kitchen and plenty of staff around. Would have liked more cake choices out too. I still like good old M&S; though

This is the worst place we have visited. Nothing dairy free and when ask staff they just say nothing we can do , how come in 2018 a huge company like this do not cater for this ! . Many other food cafes do and I can honestly say marks@spencer you should be embarrassed by this . E mail sent to them too

Cheese scones o/k, filter coffee mediocre the service poor,staff gave impression they would rather be else where.Rather over priced for the quality served.

Went in for a quick toasted sausage sandwich. Had to wait ages for it and when it arrived having cost nearly £10 with a drink I find it only has half a sausage in it. The staff didn't care

Very disappointed, waited extremely long time for what it actually a plain toasted bagel, tiny amount of smoked salmon.... Very much just packet food warmed up.... Or opened out of a packet & put on a plate.... & they charge you double for the privilege! No apologies for us waiting so long..... Not that I mind waiting.... But no fun for a 3 year old wanting a toasted tea cake!

Fortunately we came when there were only 5 other queuing but nevertheless we stood for a very long time, only one till open at 12.30Jacket potatoes were nice but the salad served with it was very limp, not at all appetising.Lots of staff but they always seemed to be running behind and rushed. There seemed to be staff doing very little. While we sat the queue went out the entrance but still only one person on the till. Shame as lots of potential.I guess they know people will always come so why bother ! The was overriding image given. Such a shame.

Pleasant staff and very helpful. Great food and great choice of sandwiches hot snacks or lunches and good choice of drinks.

My wife and i often call into this cafe for a morning coffee and cake. The service is rather slow. But we have noticed this in other M&S cafe's We have stood in a queue watching a member of staff cleaning one of the machines down instead of using it to lesson the queue. I think a time and motion study would be useful. The coffee and food is always what you would expect from M&S.

Visited here loads of times, as we're local, and when shopping in Prestatyn's great Retail Park, we invariably have toast and a Cappuccino in this, light and airy cafe. Not the cheapest, sure, but 3 pieces of bread, brown or white with butter and a small pot of jam or marmalade. One portion does the two of us so for £7 with 2 coffees isn't excessiv.. Staff are good as is the service. Choice of meals are limited but what there is is of good quality and there's a lovely selection of cakes!Afternoon tea is also available and again is excellent. All in all, a little gem of a cafe.

M&S Cafe in Prestatyn have earnt their 3 stars through cleanliness & their quick service, but the lack of certain aspects & their quality cost them 2.The lack of menu choices was quite disappointing, there isn't really a lot (not enough to class it as a cafe) and what is on offer is quite expensive but basic.I asked for beans on toast (which wasn't on the menu as a whole... beans usually come with a jacket potato and the toast usually comes on its own). They were nice enough to make it up for me which I appreciated. (Although why isn't such a basic meal on a cafe menu?)As they typed in the items onto the till I noticed that the beans came up to £1.50 and the toast came up to £2! At that price I expected I big portion...well...I was given 3 semi-circle shaped pieces of small toast & a tiny bowl of beans. The toast was rock hard, cold and came with no butter. The beans were of a similar quality: room temperature and lacked any taste.I didn't complain at the time as my mum was treating me to lunch so I thought it was rude to complain, I had a bad cold so didn't want the hassle, and the till staff seemed very unapproachable. I wouldn't dare to complain.Very disappointing on the whole, I wouldn't rush back and I wouldn't really recommend it either.

The table was dirty but got cleaned ghetto service was fine but the quality of the food was not to the standard I was expecting. Can't put my finger on it just expected more.

The view from the cafe over Prestatyn is lovely. Cafe is fresh and clean. My only bugbear with M & S is the amount of time you have to wait for hot drinks.

Thought m&s would have better quality food and service. Plenty of empty tables, but they needed clearing. Tea was cold and hot chocolate not hot.

Good coffee....nice teas , better than average cakes .Service can be incredibly slow , but staff are all friendly and eager to help .Very clean which is always a bonus

This place is OK for brew but service can be very slow sometimes. I was in there once at the till with my order and the one lady on the till thought emptying the bin was more important than serving me and the queue??? Not many options on the board either.

went in here in set for coffee really injoyed it very much with a mini biscuit on the plate well woth its size in cup as well very froffy too creamy,well worth price and vales would go again soon, its a big plus and very cosy very roomy to get in out of

Excellent food & friendly staff. Can't fault it at all. The Cumberland sausage bap I highly recommend. Very clean & tidy.

A reasonable range of cakes and drinks but there can sometimes be a queue. Staff are helpful and some of them understand the requirements of a gluten free diet.

Lovely lattes and Mochas with dietary needs catered for . Soya milk available for my dairy intolerance. Very hot coffees, large cups and the scones were delicious . Lots of cakes on offer too that looked very tempting, all on a self service cake stand

Great for a light lunch or mid morning snack. Situated on the small retail park in Prestatyn handy for the all the local shops and three times a week market.

Went to give this place a second chance after horrific service last time. Nothing has changed, waited ages to be served and ages for luke warm food - will not be trying it a third time.

never disapointed with m/s ,plenty of snacks and main dishes to choose from ,always fresh ,service with a smile ,coffee yummy,spacouse,seating good ,if you want cheap this is not for you ,but you get what you pay for.

Visited with a work colleague on a Sunday morning, which we have done on a few occasions. Coffee is always lovely and the staff have always seemed friendly and pleasant. The last visit was ruined sadly by other peoples out of control screaming brats. We even moved tables as this tribe decided to sit on the next table even though the place was almost empty, shoving prams into our chairs and shouting. The noise was unbearable so we drank our coffee quickly and left. Just a sad sign of the times and not the fault of the cafe staff but it is very off putting when you can't even hold a conversation because you can't hear!!

This is just a small M&S cafe but handy never the less. It's good to have sit down with coffee, cakes or a snack.Very friendly staff at M&S, often shop here.

Its a nice pleasant M + S cafe everything we had was good so we used the cafe twice while in Prestatyn. I didnt notice anything that marked it out otherwise

The food and drinks are usually good, but lately the hot drinks are never hot, frequently i have to send them back. Also have to wait a long time for food. But the staff are usually very friendly and apologetic when errors happen.

Food good but only had tea and cake. Staff are incredible and nothing is too much trouble. I was using a walker and the waitress was by my side offering help before I had time to wonder how I would manage. Thank you for making our day out so good.

Must admit was very disappointed with this cafe, decor is uninteresting and the windows are set too high to appreciate the view of Prestatyn Hillside. Had a cup of half cold and expensive coffee, which was not very good. Staff were helpful and courteous, but the cafe was very disappointing, and would not go again.

It takes a long time to get a drink or food, the counter system needs reorganizing to improve this aspect. The view out to the hills behind the town would be good if only the windows had been carried down to the floor. The atmosphere is a bit commercial, the food & drink is acceptable.

Have gone to the upstairs cafe a few times even though I live locally, ALWAYS get the Cumberland sausage on a roll and gorgeous hot chocolate, followed by their own lemon cake. It is a bit pricey hence the 4 star review, but what a lovely treat.

Food nice as it should be for the price, but think they got the staff that have been rejected elsewhere. Service was SO SLOW and really felt ignored for most of the time whilst the younger staff had a chat and the older staff appeared to not have a clue as to what they were doing. Manager really needs to sort this place out, because, and I am sure I am not the only one, I will look at who is serving next time and if it is the same staff I will leave and go over to the Costa !!.

I went there on January 4th to reunite with a family member (who drove up from Staffordshire) whom I'd not seen for 17 years! What a great experience all around. The food was wonderful, the staff were excellent; helpful, very friendly and very courteous. I wanted to put them in my suitcase and bring them back to the States where they could teach staff over there how it's done right My cousin and I stayed there from breakfast till mid afternoon, catching up, eating and drinking tea. The restaurant was VERY clean and the staff attentive.... Smiling all the time.Great experience. Well done.

Usual fare from M&S - trading on their historic reputation as a "Classy Food Retailer". Food was good but should be at the prices, drinks were good and reasonably priced. Only a few customers in at around 3pm. Staff seemed to be having a training session of sorts... everyone in a group chat only one leaving when interrupted by a customer! Lots of dirty cups and plates needing to be put in the dishwasher before they get so encrusted that the dishwasher fails to clean them properly.As we had a relative in a wheelchair, it was good to see that they had two EXCELLENT accessible toilets nearby, one a mirror image of the other so whether you need to transfer to the right or left there was a toilet to suit your needs.

The Prestatyn M+S is a welcome addition to the town and can be relied upon to provide a good snack in clean, airy surroundings. There are booths to sit in which are very popular and very convenient when accompanied by children. Quality and pleasant service can be guaranteed

Today my husband and I called in at 15.30pm the cafe was totally unclean. The tables unwashed /food all over the floor / knives in rack supposedly for use filthy never been washed with remains of food still on them.

Often visit here with my mum. Usually just have the coffee which is always nice. Clean and airy but why oh why did they make the windows so high??? Lovely views but only if you stand on tip toes!

I found the cafe unatmospheric, bland and overpriced. The staff had a s much charisma as a wet dishcloth. Maybe because it was a saturday afternoon. The place was fairly empty which due to the prices I am not surprised

Visited the M& S Cafe again with my wife , mother & son as we were in the area This time we had 4 flat whites. The flat whites were very strong again and tasted just like filter coffee .losing the distinctiveness of the beverage. Distinctly below par and won't be returning.

It's not just any old cafe , it's an M&S cafe. My friend and I visited early one morning before Xmas and had not just a warm welcome from the two ladies, but excellent service, food and coffee. Even thou it was the Monday before Xmas they were happy and made us feel welcome, suggesting breakfast, and then offering ideas for Xmas presents in store. They were truly enthused with their store , both totally different ladies but excellent rapport . Well done ladies you should train all M&S cafés

We went hoping for a breakfast, there was no bacon or eggss. So we asked for the salmon but they didnt have the bread for it. Pointless, i supose they are in the sticks and it would be difficult to get bacon, eggs and bread. Oh wait theres a supermarket downstairs, no excuse for not having stock, wouldn't have minded if the surley woman had said sorry but she didnt

Visited the M& S Cafe again my wife & mother as we were visiting the area Had 2 Flat whites & I pot of Tea .The Flat White were a bit strong again and not as good as some other M& S Cafes

Have always loved M & S products, but often find sparse on Service & Guest Care. However I called into the Prestatyn store this morning for breakfast before starting work. I have to say when I am next in the Area, which is always at least once a month I will definitly go back.Susan who was in the cafe was a great ambassador for you M & S and I hope you acknowledge that in some small way. She could not do enough to ensure I experienced a great breakfast, even recommening a delicious dressing for my bacon butty. She also did an effective piece of upselling without pressure and I am just going to buy said dressing before I leave the store!...Thanks Susan, you are a credit to your team and to M& S....a tad different from what I had recently witnessed in Gemini!!

Not very well set out so had to walk backwards and forwards. Nice coffee. Should have menue at the entrance to see what is on offer

Visited the new M& S Cafe 8 April 2013 with my wife & motherHad 3 Flat whites 1, Late & 2 teacakes between us. Friendly service, nice coffee & teacakes. Perhaps the Flat whites were a little bit too strong for our taste, but still good.
