Mrs Mitchell's Afternoon Tea Boxes in Dundee City

We were gifted an afternoon tea and we are so grateful! Ordering was easy and the lovely girl delivering our tray of goodies made it even more exciting as she seemed genuinely interested in whether it was a special occasion. We totally enjoyed every item on the generous platter and cannot pick out one item as the best - although the passion fruit chocolate with which we finished maybe stands out! Would certainly recommend.

I received a voucher for an afternoon tea for my birthday. I ordered a custom afternoon tea via the website, which was very easy to use. We were looking forward to it all week (not much else to look forward to in lockdown!!) and we were not disappointed when it arrived. A fantastic selection of meat and vegetarian savouries to suit us both, and the scones with cream and jam were amazing. In fact everything was absolutely delicious, I ate pretty much everything in one sitting! The afternoon tea came with two tea bags and two coffee bags, which I hadn't seen before! (We don't drink coffee so have saved them to serve to guests after lockdown!) It was such a lovely experience, especially during cold and dark winter months in lockdown when we are unable to go out and about and see friends and family. It really did brighten up our whole week and we look forward to getting another afternoon tea in future!

I haven't been in the store but I received one of their vegetarian afternoon teas for my birthday and it was absolutely delicious. Such a nice array of foods, not just your regular sandwiches. Everything tasted beautiful and I cannot fault the food or service even if I tried. Many thanks to Caroline <3

¡Guauu! ! Qué puedo decir, pero un gran agradecimiento. Debido a las restricciones de viaje, no pude viajar para estar conmigo papá en su cumpleaños. (Vivo cerca de Birmingham y él vive en Broughty Ferry). Disfrutó mucho la entrega sorpresa del té de la tarde de su cumpleaños. Las fotos parecían fabulosas. Tan fresco y sabroso. Muy recomendable por el bien de los pasteles.

Pedí una caja de té de la tarde como regalo de cumpleaños. Se entregó según lo acordado y el contenido era tan fresco y delicioso. Esta es una idea fabulosa y recomendaría encarecidamente este negocio.

I was so surprised when this was delivered on Saturday 28th March. My Daughter in Law who stays in Florida decided to surprise and cheer us up in the present coronovirus lockdown. My sister is visiting from USA and was unable to get home so she is self isolating with my husband and her husband. The afternoon tea was delicious and well thought out. From delicate mini croissants with ham and wraps to savoury rolls and egg sandwich to fabulous scones,cream and jam supplied cupcakes macrons and fudge also bread and mini butter pudding even tea bags supplied from Assam to Earl Grey. Just fabulous it was absolutely delicious and an excellent idea if you cant or wont be bothered doing it all yourself and you would definitely impress your friend. Everyone should try this. Fab idea and excellent food

I love going for an afternoon tea and so was keen to try this new idea of a takeaway one. After prompt and helpful communication through emails and booking the afternoon tea online, I collected my box of tasty cakes and savouries. There was a really nice selection of different fillings in a range of bases for the savouries - chicken fajita in a filo pastry, nice seeded bread with egg mayonnaise, home made mini croissant with cheese and ham and wraps with chicken. Then nice scones with jam and clotted cream in separate pots. Finally macarons, hand made chocolates and a delicious selection of cakes. There are even some teabags in the box to make your pot of tea! Plenty food for two people and well worth trying if you are looking for something special to have with friends or family.
