This spot is great to visit with a family nice dinner at mrts batley recommend everyone to have a food once there. The taste is always immaculate

Had 2 lovely meals here this evening, staff were friendly and attentive, service was fast and food was hot and delicious, the cn portions were generous too, Cheesy stir fried donner with chips, smash cheeseburger was stuffed!! I will be coming again very soon *****

i rang in to place an order. a young girl took the order ( SH) that i had to repeat several times. Went to pick up, got home only to find that items were missing. I rang up and the same girl (SH) who took the order blatantly turned round and said " its not my problem" . Absolutely disgusted by the customer service. I get that she may have not packed the order BUT to just turn around and say that's not my problem is absolutely despicable. When i rang in to speak to the manager the manger called her over to apologise and we could clearly hear her refusing to, she eventually came on and rudely said "im sorry and went off". Some feed back To the young girl in question, YOU took that call, therefore you are the face of the company. Any issues arising IS your problem. You took the call so deal with the issue if you cant do that then step aside and let the professionals do the job ! The least you could have said was "I apologies let me speak to the kitchen staff". To MR T head office and management team you should be more selective in who you employ as your staff represent your brand. The food has always been good, BUT you've lost my family custom. the manager tried to offer us refund and we said donate to charity as we wont be stepping into the place again. we wont be disrespected in this manner.

This will have you pulling your bottom jaw from the ground! “Parmesans origins are widely attributed to post-Second World War in Middlesbrough, Teesside/Cleveland, in the North East of TheUK.” -Google ‘Parmos’ have always given me that comforting, nostalgic (little bit naughty, a lot of a bit nice) feeling; a deliciously indulgent treat compared to the local chippy growing up near Barnard Castle, Durham I’ve had parmos of all sizes, prices and varieties and unfortunately this one from MrTs… …DID NOT HIT! Sooo disappointing! Quick Review… The portions were ridiculously small for the I price paid! And the quality questionable at best. What would usually be a ‘half-Parmo’ from other takeaways, this is presented as a full Parmo and costs… …nearly £13.00!!!??? (Plus delivery and fees). That’s for one grilled chicken breast with bechamel sauce and a sprinkling of toppings, served with a small portion of insipid chips and a tub of creamed cabbage. I went for a HotShotParmo! Which is always nice and spicy and popular! I wanted to see what MrTs had to offer. Firstly the box was a small pizza box, (fine), maybe it was crammed,who knew!? So I open the box and wham!!! Instant disappointment. Look at the pics. Absolute joke. Chips were mid, not crispy and a third had some sort of dark spot or blemish… again …NOT 13quids worth! Now on to the Parmo itself…. Very tasty, creamy and rich sauce, fair (not great) amount of toppings depending on your selections made. Parmos are supposed to be bigger than your head and cost from about 8/11quid with chips and salad, then half’s 4.50-6? This was not for me! Possibly the worst Parmo I’ve ever eaten There was a sliiiiiiight caramelisation of cheese, but not quite ‘Parmo-style’, which is browned, crispy edges and a lovely mottled brown cheesy topping. Been meaning to write this review for a while! Ordered a Chicken Parmesan and something else for my partner via Uber Eats on 30th September 23. When it arrived the Parmesan was missing the chips so we phoned up and spoke to a gentleman who accused us of lying and said there’s nothing they can do. Unfortunately for them, I was 9 months pregnant - being accused of lying whilst starving and heavily pregnant is not a good combination! Therefore I drove down to the restaurant, Parmesan in hand to show them that they had indeed not included the chips. The young girl on the counter couldn’t have looked less interested if she tried however the older man on the counter (who we spoke to on the phone) soon realised we were in fact not lying and I was in fact very, very pregnant. He apologised and opened up a closed seating area so we could sit and wait for fresh food to be cooked, he also offered us free drinks. Another guy behind the counter (I assume the manager) was also ridiculously rude and despite showing him the box with the chips missing, he stood by his deluded view that the chips were included originally. 1. There were no oil marks or any chip residue in the box which I would have expected to see if they were included and 2. Why on earth would I drive somewhere in that state over some chips if I had them in the first place?! We ended up waiting ages for the new food to be cooked and during this time, a younger guy who seemed to be clearing tables kept approaching us asking us to leave a good review and include his name. He was so pushy and we felt uncomfortable, my partner had to tell him that getting good reviews isn’t going to happen if he approaches people in this way. Just an odd experience all round but I’ve given 2 stars, 1 because the food was actually really lovely and another star because I went into labour the next morning - cheers Parmo!

The food is great every time. However the general service is disappointing. Long waits for food orders even when the place is quiet, missing items on most visits, and ridiculously long delivery waits Waited 45 mins, nothing arrived, delivery time got pushed back by an hour, and then after that hour, they cancelled the order Wanted to treat my partner to their favourite food on their birthday, really killed the vibe

Absolutely disgusting was a dead fly in my chips a hair in my burger and waited over an hour when was told 30 mins, when it came the food was cold and the driver said Inapropriate sexual comments to my wife. Avoid this place at all costs

Me and a friend ordered this food on Uber Eats as a last resort. We got a burger with fries each. Starting off with the fries, they were soggy, dry, cold and had no flavour whatsoever, it seemed to us they had been left out for hours. And where do I even begin with the burger?! The bun was soggy, the meat was dry and fatty and the salad inside was not fresh at all. We were both left feeling extremely ill and couldn’t even complete our meal after paying over £25 for it, which was a huge waste of money. We would not recommend this restaurant to anybody no matter how hungry they are and will be in absolutely no rush whatsoever to be going back ever again.

One of the best places to eat locally. My family was served by Tayyab and Anwar. The service was great, they were friendly and very helpful! Great food and we didn’t have to wait too long!

It's a shame to write this review as we came with friends and young children during the school holidays 99p kids meal offer which was very good. The food was of good quality but unfortunately as an overall review including service and conditions inside Mr Ts Batley I have to give a 'poor' rating. Poor service: * we came as a group of different families so ordered separately but explained we are together. They gave us one buzzer so we could get our food together. The first order came, they said wait two minutes for the second order, we waited and waited, by now the first family have eaten their food (kids are hungry so we couldn't ask them to wait). I returned 3 x and the food was still not ready, I could see the kids burgers were boxed but first time told I had to wait for the chicken box and only when my friend came they said ok take the burgers BUT I was still waiting for my meal. The staff were nice and polite enough but had no understanding that we were a group with hungry kids, the rest had eaten and I ended up eating alone. The point of eating out with friends is so we all eat together. They kept saying 'sorry just 2 minutes' one staff even saw me and asked 'youre still waiting!?' In a shocked manner. No offer of discount, return voucher or some consolation considering the situation, only because I happen to be a quiet customer who doesn't want to get riled up. Had I maybe been aggressive or been a man they might have treated me differently??? * poor conditions I attended on 11.8.23 at ~2:30pm, it was a hot day. There are no blinds/curtains to provide shade and the main area with large bench had a lot of sun shining through. When we asked if we can sit in the larger area we were told it was for pre booked groups only, but the entire time we were there noone used it? We asked if they can put the AC on and got told 'i dont even know if we have that'. We could see big AC units but can assume they don't work or never used due to cost. It was hot inside and not pleasant at all. It was not busy, they had a lot of staff and I just felt very disappointed at the service and my overall experience eating in at Mr Ts Batley.
