We came here for a Saturday lunch. The price was unbeatable and the portions were a great size. Food was brilliant with fast and efficient service. One of the best curry restaurants I've been to.

Came here with my old army sergeant he was in town so we came here for lunch chicken curry was just the side of edible menu said rice or chips must be offended if half rice and half chips can't be requested sorry not happy will go elsewhere too expensive for what you get

We ordered a takeaway told 45 minutes after 1:30 hours wait no food, when we called told on way, 40 min later still no food! Kids starving by now So rang again The manger told us he had set up 3 michelin star restaurants and had planty of customers and would look into it and get back to is in a few days‍♂️Was very rude and Did not care at all that the order had been misplaced Very disappointing

I ordered a delivery which arrived on time. The mixed pakora was tasty and fresh but the chicken tikka was not great as it was liked it was processed chicken and not fresh and the tandoori prawns were not fresh either. I was very disappointed in the prawns as I have had them from another place before and they were amazing. It was a poor meal and expensive for what we got. The spicy onions were too spicy although the popodums were tasty and crispy. Unfortunately I will not be trying this place again

Went to Mr Sing's last night with my wife ordered 2 starters and 2 main courses1. Vegetable Pakora £5.25 for 5 pieces costs less than 50p to make2. Chicken Tikka Main Course £13.95What a total rip off. We certainly will NOT BE Back at this Restaurant

Went here with my wife and our friends last night and had a great meal. Not the cheapest of places but the food was good and every one of us had a good time. Staff are a little awkward which is suprising for a busy restaurant but would definitely go here again.

The staff were attentive & friendly, sauces tasty, nans gorgeous but chicken was very processed, weird texture and square shaped. Next time I'll get the lamb!!

Went with 5 adults and a child for a birthday outing..Place is very modern and clean ,staff very helpful..The starters we got were spot on..then came the mains...4 different curies..They all looked the same and all I could taste from the 4 of them was tomato and more tomatoe.Not good at all.we would not go out of our way to come back here...A pity as it has very good potential.Only left a 5 pound tip which was because of the good staff,,,,Not the currys.

We come here about 4 times a month mainly because Alloa has a total dearth of decent restaurants. I’ve never had a bad meal yet. The tandoori chicken and lamb are a delight

Inedible and expensive. The place was empty and it is not a surprise as the food was bloody awful, worst Indian in my life.

We had lunch here and the choice, price and quality of the food we had was very good. First time for a while since we have eaten here and was pleasantly surprised. we have had takeaways recently and had been disappointed.

Had meal with my partner and my mum . Food was lovely and service was quick. Biggest problem in this restraunt is the price of drinks. £11.90 for my mum's 2 glasses of wine alone. That's daylight robbery......I would recommend this place but ask for a jug of water as all drinks (including soft drinks) are way too expensive.

We’ve had a great few meals in and also take away.. Although I was sad to say the last one we had was disappointing ,, The chicken was very tough and unable to eat it ..

I don’t know where to begin ! I have never ever had a bad Indian meal until tonight ... We were given a £40 voucher for Mr Singhs from friends for our anniversary so decided to go out tonight to enjoy a lovely tasty meal !! Well the starter was diabolical after ordering it was on our table within 5 min which was worrying as my husband had ordered chilli garlic chicken and if it was cooked fresh should have taken at least 15 min to cook !!I thought I couldn’t go wrong with the mixed Pakora ha ! ha! It was 2 tiny pieces of chicken pakora 2 even smaller bits of mushroom pakora which were so dried up they were rubbery and I won’t even try to describe the vegetable pakora reheated tasteless dried up have bought better from Asda or Tesco’s takeaway section I think there was an attempt at a salad at side of plate but couldn’t even squeeze the lemon slice over it as it was so shrivelled and dried up !!

It was the worst Indian food my wife and I had by a country mile. Overpriced garbage. Could not wait to get out of there. They should be prosecuted under the trade descriptions act. Re-heated starters and tasteless mains. Even had the cheek to charge for poppadoms and dips that you get free in other restaurants. Real Indian it ain't. Steer clear at all costs. First and last visit

Popped in for a takeaway.dissapointed to see the set meals had changed and now getting less choice for your money.and prices have also went up.the chicken pakora was nice,but the chicken served up in the main course was awful.very tough, chewy and tasteless..straight in the bin.i feel bad writing this review as i like the boy that runs it.but the past few takeaways from this place have been the same.mr singh and his boys have just left this lad to run a sinking ship.mainly operated by poles.

I use this restaurant about every couple of months when visiting Dunblane and am never disappointed. Quick, friendly service and food is excellent. Good variety of dishes to choose from and I love a korma and the mango or pineapple are really tasty. My friend had a lamb balti and said it was one of the best she had tasted. Only wee niggle was that the hand dryer in the toilets wasn't working but apart from that no downside at all. Also plenty of parking which is always good. Highly recommend

Out with friends for a meal here. Starters were bit on small side but were very tasty. Main courses were really nice. Staff were very polite and attentive. Will go back soon.

We use this takeaway often as it is usually very good. Not this time! We both ordered mild curries but what we got was watery & flavourless, they were not mild at all they were so spicy that we had to eat the naan bread plain to cool our mouths down. Not impressed! We then both suffered from sore stomachs all night! So disappointed as we were so looking forward to our curry so we won’t rush using them again!

Ordered a takeaway the other night & was really looking forward to it. Sadly the food was well below par. There was no flavour & far too many spices. A total let down. Will not use again or recommend to people.

Had a lovely lunch here for the first time. Had mushroom pakora followed by lamb tikka with Nan bread the coffee for £8.95. The lamb was exceptionally tender. The service was excellent and I would definitely recommend

Whole family was looking forward to a nice curry for a treat today. Everything we ordered was terrible. Could gave bought nicer curries in ready meal aisle in asda. Nan bread was like cardboard, poppadoms burnt. Pakora tasteles. Very expensive takeaway that left us very disappointed.

Tasted better Indian meals.went for lunch, and didn't like what I ate. No one asked us if we were enjoying our meal.

Went here tonight and had a lovely meal, the food was very nice although there could have been more spiced onions and mango chutney in the tubs. We both had chicken dishes and both were moist and full of flavour. The nan bread is to die for as it is well stuffed with filling. The only bad point was that all of the time we were in the restaurant the two phone lines rang constantly and even when there were 3 staff standing about they did not answer the phone and this got more annoying as the night went on. We have been before and will be back but hopefully they start answering the phone.

Our order was ready within twenty minutes of ordering by phone, which we collected. The food was to the normal high standard of the restaurant and was lovely and hot too.

1st visit for a while and although the food and the service were good it is a pity that the pre-theatre menu has been stopped. A bit pricey but as already stated the food was really good.

Took their lunchtime menu, good price and lovely sweet and sour chicken, service efficient and friendly, coffee included.

It was the end of dry January and the beginning of Fab February so we treated ourselves to lunch. The fixed price menu is great value, and the chicken tikka tandoori and perswari nan were excellent. Perfect size portion for lunch time.

Great service and food was excellent. My waiter was attentive but not over attentive. The price was excellent too for the quality of Goya did service.

Went here last Saturday and had quite a nice meal. Starters were excellent and sharing some is a good idea. Main meal although pretty good and of good quality was also quite good. My one criticism of this meal is that portions in other similar restaurants that I have visited seem to be bigger, particularly in Glasgow. Although I would recommend going to this place for a special occasion it is quite good. My recommendation is that you select drinks very carefully as 'the price of drinks here would make a glass eye water' better to leave any alcohol consuming for the pub later.

Have ordered a few take aways from here. Must admit have never tried the main meals, but order a variety of the starters for nibbles. Always order the same, but have slightly deviated tonight and ordered different.

We ordered a takeaway this evening for my daughters birthday. This curry was so disappointing. It arrived quickly, too quickly, too quick for freshly cooked. The chicken Tikka tasted chemically, the saag prawn was full of grey prawns and was completely tasteless, the spinach used was surely tinned, the consistency was really unpleasant. The Lamb Balti was just mushy and generic. Overall everything tasted like a supermarket cook-in sauce curry. Having moved to Alloa recently we were pleased to see there was a Mr Singhs here, but it does not live up to the company’s reputation. We did complain, and we were offered a refund, but to be honest, that wasn’t really the point. We wanted a nice meal. I would suggest some quality control from head office.

7 of us had an evening meal of the fixed menu £15 my food was fine but one had prawn cocktail it was watery ! The rest had Indian food a reasonable meal at a fair price !

Early evening meal yesterday. Arrived just after opening for the evening. Service is very good but was disappointed in the food. My husband ordered the mixed tikka grill. The chicken was a bit dry, possibly over cooked. The lamb was indistinguishable from liver! Felt it may have been reheated food from lunch! I had a chicken chasing which was ok but not as good as our local takeaway. I ordered a soda and lime and was served a 1/2 pint at £2.40 when a pint was £3.20! I was not asked which I would like. So on the whole we felt that this restaurant was not for us in the future.

Pakora was o.k. Nan bread o.k. Onion bagees def re heated and dry no a happy bunny main meal chickn sizzler o.k. but not usual standard dini think we will b back. sad no a decent Indian takeaway in Alloa.

Used this restaurant for meals and takeaways regularly since it opened. Had a gap of a couple months and returned recently to takeaway a chicken bhuna. The chicken was like soft rubber and had a smooth texture when pieces were cut open. I’ve experienced chicken like this from other takeaways and it’s called plastic chicken. I’m not saying this restaurant uses this chicken, it may be poor cooking practices. The type of chicken involved is imported cheaply from Holland and Thailand. It is then bulked up using water and a mix of chemicals. The result is a kilo of chicken is only 50-60 % meat with the rest being chemicals and water. When this chicken is cooked it creates a rubbery texture which many think can be hidden by the spices used in the cooking process. When sliced open it has a smooth surface rather than the fibrous texture normal untreated chicken has. I repeat that I am not accusing them of using this cheap meat, as it can be caused by cooking too long at too high a temperature. As the other Indian restaurant in the town has closed, I thought they would be going all out to impress customers who may not have dined there before. Will give their Stirling branch a go next time as I am not paying a quite expensive price for a rubbery carry out again. Big improvements in meal quality required before I return

I was really looking forward to an excellent meal from this restaurant, we have been going for years and it never disappoints. But tonight was pretty average to say the least, rice was lumpy like it had been reheated, chicken tikka was tough and South Indian garlic chilli was tasteless. Sorry but this is an honest opinion and I don't think I'll be going there in the near future, this restaurant was fantastic but sadly something has gone.

I ordered the set meal a for one at 2113 tonite. was told it would be between 30 and 45 minutes for delivery. My meal was delivered at 2145 and was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken bhuna and it was piping hot. i had a bad experience with another takeaway company a few weeks previous and vowed id never order takeaway again. As im getting a new kitchen starting from today i felt id no choice. The portion size was amazing and will do for tea tomorrow nite aswell lol. Well done Mr Singh x

First time here and a nice experience. The restaurant is spacious and well ventilated so none of the oppressive curry smells on entering. We had their pre-theatre meal - good value, which is a three course meal - starter, mains and desert. Some drinks can be a bit pricey. However, food was really tasty and the service was good. There is convenient parking outside.

Tried the 3 course pre-theatre meal which is really good value for money. The starters were small but tasty, the main courses were really good and icecream were nice. Drinks a bit pricey at £4.50 for a pint of cobra and £2.40 for a can of coke!!!

Second visit here as I am just an occasional visitor to the area but I have to say it is probably the best Indian I have been to , and i have tried a few, service was exceptional and friendly and the food was once again wonderful and at a bargain price especially if you order off the three course set menu. Can't wait for my next visit.

We ordered two mains, rice and nan breads and would have to be really critical to mark I down from five stars. Taking into account the 5 mile delivery I would say we received restaurant quality food an will certainly order again.

First time take away from Mr Singhs blown away. Veg Pakora was ok but the Southern Indian Garic Chilli Chicken was easily the best I have ever tasted amazing boiled rice and peshwari naan again probably the best I have tasted. Well done Mr Singhs it was expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Hudnae been tae Alloa fur years. Went tae see Alex Salmond Unleashed jist alang the road fae this restaurant. Alex is a very talented man and whit an amazing show!!! Wid recommend tae everybudy. This restaurant was fab, plenty on the menu to satisfy all Indian tastes, the food was freshly prepared and the spicies combined to perfection. We hud vegetable pakora and samosa fur starters - first class thoroughly enjoyed by each of us. Then we hud the Ceylonese Chicken Breast Korma wi Nan Bread (delicious) and a Chicken Tikka Balti wi Pilau Rice (medium hot and very tasty). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were helpful and friendly and we did not wait long for the food to arrive. They are on the ball at Mr Singhs in Alloa. Very attentive to detail. The restaurant is spacious wi loads of seats (for 2 for 4 and for groups - small and large). The decor is modern, tasteful and adds to the ambience of the cuisine. When I'm bak in Alloa I will certainly eat here again. Highly Recommended!!

Possibly best Indian around. Kashmiri korma is to die for and never disappoints. Many places are a hit and miss but Mr Singhs serves consistently good food.

We recently had our wedding meal in the restaurant accompanied by 16 of our friends. We would like to the staff for looking after us so well. The food was fantastic and the staff decorated the side room for us, complete with complimentary champagne for my husband and I. Thank you for helping to make our day so special.

Had a really lovely meal - only issue was cost if starter- asked waiter about size of portion and he said it was 5/6 pieces - only realise after it cost £5 - 5 little pieces for a fiver - rip off!! Pity because staff were really helpful and the main meal was brilliant.

Booking a table was easy enough, staff were polite and helpful. Nice restaurant, modern bright and comfortable seating, toilets are clean and modern Served quickly after arrival. Went in at 6.30pm on a Friday evening without a booking. Restaurant is extremely clean and modern. We had poppadoms, pakora, I had chicken tikka, hubby had lamb korma and we shared a naan bread. It was delicious and served really quickly and friendly. It was £38 inc half lager. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it. We'll be back!

we seemed to be sat for ages between every interaction with the staff who do not appear to be capable of friendly service. the food was seriously average, have had much better as takeaway from other shops in town

Husband and I went in for lunch, restaurant looked really nice, clean and comfortable, alas that's the only good points. We opted for the 3course lunch special, we ordered pakora chicken and veg, when my husband cut the veg pakora and ate it he found it was frozen inside, he managed to put it in to napkin, he went up to the bar to say to bar/ waitress who took it away, she apologised, when the male waiter came back with a "fresh" plate, he dropped it on to the table and walked away, we found that they had re - heated the same pakora along with the half cut bit, was not happy. The main arrived I cut in to chicken and it crunched, moved on to another bit and it crunched, no way was I eating it, ended up eating a couple of bits of naan bread which was the best bit of lunch, the bar/ waitress took our plates away again apologising, we didn't ask for a pudding or coffee, as I really wanted to leave as there was an argument between the staff, shouting loudly at each other, you could hear them through the restaurant. We were charged the full price of the three course lunch, the manager and male waiting staff ignored us at bar and again it was the female staff member who apologised, we did say to her she had no need to apologise and gave her a tip. We will not be going back nor would we recommend.

I had King Prawn Tikka Masala. It was tiny shrimp in a mild curry sauce. The Peshwari naan had bright orange dedicated coconut. The onion baji was dry and flavourless. Take away for 4 £60 and a waste of money. Never again will I throw money down the drain here. Should've gone to KFC.

Enjoyed the pre theatre menu with family. Surroundings comfortable modern and clean. Service was excellent. Food was enjoyable and plentiful and we will certainly return. This is a good solid establishment and could not be faulted.

Popped in for lunch with grandson yesterday and was excellent. Great service, good quality and choice of menu and at £23.90 really good value.Without doubt we will be back soon.

Visited tonight for Mother's Day and will definitely not be returning. Service was very very poor. We waited around 15 minutes before anyone even approached our table to take an order. Starters arrived staggered, got three and then two more around 5 minutes later. Pakora was dry and tasteless. Main meals were lukewarm and average. The South Indian garlic chilli was horrendous with the most overpowering taste of garlic it was completely inedible and not spicey at all. Even the Diet Coke was disappointing!! We sat with empty plates on our table for a good while after finishing our meals while every employee walked by totally oblivious. We are regular customers and will definitely not be back. Customer service next to none.

Have been going to this restaurant since it opened. I can't believe the decline in the standard of both the food and service. When it first opened dishes were as described on the menu. Now it seems to be pot luck what you get. Visited with family on the evening of 27th December 2016 and the restaurant was about half full. Staff seemed unable to cope. Dishes arrived at various times and not so we could all eat together. The staff didn't seem to know what dishes they were serving and had to take some back to check what they were.Despite the above we ordered a takeaway on Saturday 7th January 2017. One of the dishes we ordered was Mr Singh's Special Madras from their hot section. We paid an extra amount for additional green chillies. This was bland with no heat and certainly no extra chillies. Very disappointing and after years of being loyal to this restaurant will be moving on to another restaurant.

Tried this venue as a change from Xmas food. Service was ok but the staff were not very friendly.The food was not really up to the usual standard,the chicken was overcooked and chewey, the rice was only just warm and the nan breads were totally bland.

After a bit of shopping popped in here for the lunch menu. Great selection of Indian food for the two course option. Food was very fresh and well present. Staff were also helpful and and attentive. Well recommended.

We had a great meal here, with 2 adults and a 13 year old. Selection of starters and mains, all really lovely. Great selection on the Menu. Sure to find something for everyone! The service was very efficient and we never had to wait too long between courses. We went on a Saturday but they have really good lunch and tea time deals on other nights of the week. Well worth a visit.

I visited with a few friends to try this place out as I am a usual of Azads.The atmosphere is alright, however, the staff seemed quite cold towards us. We ordered our food which arrived promptly, however, a few of our main meals were wrong. They took them away without a fuss and brought out the correct food. The food was okay, however, lacked a lot of taste you expect from an Indian. They do offer a bring your own bottle which I think is quite a good idea. The price for the food was alright, although I would have rather paid more and received a better meal and service.
