The Legends Indian Restaurant in Clackmannanshire

Legends is in a tiny wee Scottish village and you’d likely drive past it and not notice as it’s joined on to a busy pool hall. I’d highly recommend making the trip to Legends. This was my first visit to Legends but my family have been many times and never had a bad meal. We all ordered something different and everyone enjoyed theirs. I’d highly recommend the chicken Kathi rolls for starter 👌 tandoori chicken leg was delicious and comes with choice of rice or naan. The peshwari naan was hands down best one I’ve ever had. The tandoori mixed grill was huge!! Lamb saag was enjoyed as was the chicken bhuna. One of our group had chicken noodles - not something I’d ever seen on a menu at an Indian restaurant - they were fantastic. I’ll be ordering those next time. The staff were really friendly and attentive.

Decided to give Legends a try during a weekend stay at The Woods Campsite. Every dish we were served was up there with the best I have eaten. The pakora was perfectly spiced, crispy and light, and packed with perfectly cooked ribbons of vegetables. I was catered for off-menu with a paneer and vegetable South Indian garlic chilli. Again, perfectly cooked veg and paneer - just the right amount of ‘bounce’ on the cheese (which so many places can’t seem to get right), perfect spicing/heat and that depth of flavour I am so often left still craving after a curry. The flavours in chicken Chattinad (?) were still arriving several minutes after tasting - deep and complex and really very wonderful. The naan was light and fluffy and gorgeous. The service was outstandingly good too - warm and welcoming. My family spent a small fortune on a meal in the renowned Dhabba in Glasgow the week before to celebrate a birthday and nothing - not one thing - we ate there came anywhere close to the quality of food we enjoyed at Legends. Thankfully we only live half an hour away and this will now be our go to indian restaurant. Absolutely outstanding and I very much hope the place flourishes. A week on and we’re still talking about that meal. Very excited to have discovered the place and can’t wait to go back.

This is the most authentic Indian restaurant I have visited. The food is superb, service excellent, a must for Indian food lovers. I have also had their takeaway again excellent, arrived hot and on time. *****

Really tasty Indian takeaway - these guys can really cook! And the service was above and beyond - my car wouldn’t restart, and without being asked the boss insisted on helping. When bump starting didn’t work he gave me a jump start from his own car. All at peak time on a Saturday evening. Legendary!

Great tasting takeaway. The restaurant was quiet when I collected my order, but probably because the weather was terrible! Lovely food and staff 👌

This restaurant /carry out is fab Food is so fresh and plenty to choose from We tried it as a carry out first to see what it would be like Didn’t disappoint Decided to come and sit in and service was great .. food is spicy but they do the spice as you want .. First time ordering from here … it was fabulous We wanted to try the carry out menu and it did not disappoint The food was fresh and so tasty Plenty variety from the menu too Now that we have tried the carry out we will definitely be visiting for a sit in meal We stay at The Woods caravan park and it’s just round the corner If you have not ordered from here then your missing out Yummy yummy yummy

Warm welcome, exceptional food, attentive staff. The menu has all the usual favourites and a lot of dishes i personally haven’t seen anywhere else. Can’t wait to go back!

This indian in fishcross is so good it is definitely worth going too and will be back. The atmosphere was nice , and there were lots of parking spaces. I will definitely be back.
