The service was good, staff were polite and willing to help, I enjoyed my meal, it was tasty and well seasoned. The complementary garlic bread was fresh and fluffy. it's a good place to catch up with friends and family. Would definitely visit soon.

Authentic Turkish food with a homely feel and generous portions at accessible pricing.

It's a Turkish restaurant. I ordered lamb liver, Adana kebab and lamb rib. Lamb rib was fatty. My last experiences were so better, I mean less fat and more meat in rib dishes. It was 3 star dish. Adana kebab was reasonable, not excellent not bad! It was 4 star Lamb liver was fried in oil in small pieces. If they cook it in bigger pieces and on indirect fire, it could be more delicious and also healthy. It was 3 star. Service was 4 star with standby and skilled personnel. I will try it more in future.

My family and I love this restaurant. They serve good food for a good price. They are lovely people too.

Went here last night around 8pm- the food was delicious! Definitely recommend. I had chicken and lamb kebab and my husband had minced lamb kebab. Both came with rice, bulgar wheat and salad plus they brought a basket of warm flat bread and dips to the table at no extra charge. It was all fresh, tasty and good portions. We had one drink each and bill was just over £44

The food was amazing and the waitress was so lovely however the atmosphere and the good mood was ruined by their toilet cleaner! We stayed in the restaurant eating the great food till late and I had to go to toilet when the cleaner( with black hair) was cleaning and she gave me very dirty and angry looks and muttered something inaudible under her breath! Another angry and dirty look on the way out as well! If she isn't happy with the job she is in, then why not find something else! Why do you hire someone so negative in a great place like yours?? I am not happy to put up with an attitude like this and now have no desire to return there!! Managers, please look at this !

Heard many good things but never visited until last weekend. We booked for a Friday evening. Restaurant was nice and busy with a great atmosphere. Drinks and starters ordered promptly. Mains ordered and arrived lovely and hot and tasted really good. Had to remind the waitress we hadn’t received the water for the table which we ordered at the start but that was soon brought over. Price is very good value and worth every penny.

Very disappointed , food was tasty and fresh but really pricey and expensive without any complimentary salad , pickles and bread like other Turkish restaurants Price like 5 star hotel but service was so poor . Toilets was so strange ng without any privacy We was family of 5 and We order 2 meal from kids menu they bring our food with long delay but they forget to bring kids meal . Not professional staff . Definitely we don’t come back again

Without out a doubt, the best Turkish restaurant in Norfolk. Food was amazing, service was just as welcoming and wasn’t too expensive. Will be back.

Friendly staff and super delicious food 5starts!

The food is really nice here. They give complementary bread which is delicious. However, they were not able to give space to pray when Salaah time came and there's music in the background. Also, if the restaurant is busy, it is not that comfortable if you're dining with family as the tables are very close together and maybe could do with partitions? Other than that, the staff are nice people and I am appreciative of their service! Also, there is parking behind the restaurant which is a plus.

Tasty food and great service in this Norwich Turkish restaurant. In a city with a great food scene, with several exceptional Turkish places, this place is among the best and is quite popular. Having tried them, I can say I understand why. The kebab I had was glorious, as were all the other dishes. The kids' menu and the sides were all very tasty. The service was exceptional too: the waitress asked if we were celebrating anything (you don't have this at every restaurant) and when we said it was our son's birthday, they brought out a baklava with a candle and sang Happy Birthday for him. This was a pleasant surprise and a really nice touch from the restaurant.

I realy liked a lot of it and the food was overall good however a word of advice for anyone looking to get food from here is that the calamari was in my opinion ludicrously expensive for the amount given £7.90 for only THREE average sized rings of calamari is crazy and definitely not worth it even as a starter especially when compared with alot of the other stuff offered like the soup ect which was both very nice and reasonably portioned

Lovely restaurant but it is very cramped and the toilet situation is not great, the floor is very wet in the toilets, it's quite uncomfortable

Mr Mangal has nice food but we had worst experience of service from the lady who was serving, she was so impolite and unprofessional. She misbehaved right from the beginning until I had to ask the restaurant to keep her away from our table. I dont know the name of this lady but she was doing table service on 8th oct 2023 ( one of the two staff persons ) . Would never go back to Mr Mangal with such a pathetic service. Food is nice but i guess most of turkish restaurants have nice food anyways.

No complaints from the mixed sharing platter. Nice bread and meats.

Lovely meal, atmosphere, good service but way too expensive

The worst restaurant I ever been. I was there with few my friends. The order was taken after 15 min of waiting. The food witch should be first on the table for sharing it was coming wast it was one small ball salad and two sauce for 8 people radicalise! When I ask for one extra spicy, they give me tomato pure 😒😞 You have ordered 4 soups, and same starter. So they coming after 50 minutes. The waiter blonde was unfriendly and she say it’s busy . Really at 16:00. After this 50 min they say then don’t have one of the soups. This is not acceptable if you don’t have you need to tell of the beginner!!! She was forget one of the food as well, should be maybe another 50 min, so you not ordered again. Not sorry, not discount for this radicalise service. Never going there!!! 👎👎👎

Group booking, 9 of us in total. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived. The service was excellent and all dishes arrived at our table together. I had the chicken & lamb combo. Delicious! Everyone agreed that the food was excellent. We all had a great night. If you love Turkish food you’ll love this place!

Good food and drinks but highly priced I know uk expensive like other restaurants I just wonder how still operate with-this high inflation in food prices I would love to have this great quality food with better prices but I don’t know how to get it right balanced but I hope you enjoy it and enjoy your time with your family and friends

Highly recommend and we've been many times, for parties, dinners or dates. Busy place, especially in the evenings. Service is great and so is the food. Chicken wings aren't dry and I love their lamp chops. Best Turkish in Norwich!

Service was too slow. One of the waitresses was too rude. The food was excellent but the quantity of the food was too less.

By far this is top of the leaderboard of the worst place to eat In Norwich by far. We entered no greeting no smiles just poor anyway once we was seated 10 minutes later asked if we want any drink I can understand if they was busy I can accept it however my family and 2 other couples in the restaurant. 25 minutes into my order I asked for some bread as the order was taking longer than I anticipated food came out with an item missing and that’s waiting nearly 40 minutes. Once we got our order I asked for some bread and the lady said you already had bread we can’t give you more this was very rude in my opinion so I asked do you charge for bread and she said this is England i honestly don’t know how this place is running a restaurant with staff like this. Anyway poor service poor food quality the only thing I can say that was ok was the salad and sauce. It’s a shame as a restaurant like this in the location it’s in should be packed out now I know why it wasn’t. Also out of the 50 downlight they have I can confidently say 35 of them don’t work. This place really is a disappointment I honestly regret eating here.

Not enough people talk about this restaurant! It is always a nice level of busy in there though and I’m glad we decided to try it randomly. I’ve been several times now and it’s easily in my top 3 restaurants to go to in Norwich. Really nice vibe in there with great service and the food is incredible! I recommend it to everyone when topic of where we like to go out for food comes up. Not tried delivery yet but definitely will in future.

Food was lovely... service was nice... ordered chicken and lamb combo. Chicken was OK but lamb was exceptional...had to order pickles separately for 6 quid and it was more than needed... would have been nice if some pickle was included with the mains.. rest everything was super tasty.

Worth food to try when travelling to Norwich. Authentic taste of Turkish food. Excellent service we feel as traveller. Quick response from waiters. Lamb kebab was very nice, soft and melted inside the mouth .

Everything was great. We came here twice during our stay. During our first visit we Had the mixed platter and baklawa. The service is amazing would give more stars if I could. For our second visit we actually went to the Mediterranean restaurant for dinner (which we regret so much) but came here for desserts because the service is much much better. The food is cooked perfectly and stayed hot throughout the dinner. Everyone was really kind and the restaurant is clean. Really happy and will definitely be coming back!

Mr Mangal’s is within walking distance to Norwich City Centre so in a good location. The food here is very good and is excellent value. It’s vibrant and can be noisy when busy, which is most of the time, but a fun place to visit. The hot and cold mezes are especially good value and very tasty.

What an amazing experience! Went on a busy Saturday night without a booking and the team couldn't be more accomadating. Got a table straight away and service was speedy and very friendly. The food was just beautiful. Excellent flavours, large portions and beautifully presented. If you haven't been here yet go... It was a brilliant thank you.

I'm really wondering why all those people r talking so good about this place. Frustration... that's my feeling right now, i went there with my girlfriend after a friend suggestion, we believed it was going to be a good place, but the food was cold and raw in the middle, the only thing we can't say was bad it's the hummus... oh i'm forgetting the service, it took 40 minutes to our food arrive, disappointed

Called to make a booking for 6:15 for 3 people. Restaurant accepted the booking. Arrived at 6:10, got told to wait for a few minutes. Another table of 2 who didn’t book arrived and got seated. 6:45 table still not available, told it would be at least another 30 minutes. Don’t accept table bookings if you can’t seat guests. Terrible service. There were 5 empty tables at the side that were empty for at least 45 minutes. Avoid. Would not recommend

Great little restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff, good food and excellent value. Only slight detractor was the toilets were a bit messy. It did seem like a busy evening though.

Absolutely incredible food. Most tender lamb shish I've ever had. Wraps are amazing too, highly recommend the Adana wrap. Hummus is incredible and bread of fresh and high quality. Really top notch place.

Went last night with a group of 10 colleagues. The service was friendly and attentive. The cold meze was delicious, as was the bread which was plentiful! Generous portions of authentic grilled meat, salad and rice. And the Baklava were to die for. The best I have had. Will definitely return

Great place, great food, and lovely staff. Booking was not recorded, and we had to come back an hour later, but it was well worth it. Need to get a good booking system, not a pad.

I popped in for a meal, around 7pm, without booking! I asked if it's any table available for 2 adults and 1 child, the lady said yes, but I need to wait 30 minutes or less! We decided to wait! After 40 minutes more people was coming without booking, and she took them straight away to the table! My husband just got really annoyed about it and we decided to leave with our 7 years old girl! Very bad service!

This was the 2nd time visiting and was blown away again by how good the food is, Service was superb. I wish I could eat there every night.
