Quiet, serene ambiance. Efficient service. The seating was cosy despite the chil outside. The menu was varied, the portions were hearty and filling. The meal was tasty. I didn't know mussels were in my choice and I hadn't liked mussels on my first try elsewhere. I gave it a go and it was quite nice. There's nothing to fault. It was an exquisite meal. I'd definitely go again.

Nice place to enjoy a Middle Eastern dinner, really enjoyed the food.

I really don’t drop reviews like this on Google, but had to after this experience. Fantastic food, ordered the lamb chops and the combination grill - honestly up there with the best Turkish food I’ve had in a while. Complimentary bread just to top off the already-great meal, with the chilli and garlic sauces (also free by the way) blowing me away. Dessert (knafeh and balkava) also really really good. Would absolutely recommend - 100% better than the guys next door at Mr Mangal!

The meat was not good, especially adana and chicken beyti we could not finish. Prices were reasonable but overall not a good place to eat for families especially.

The portion was great compared to my expectation. The food stole my heart it was so fresh and different. Definitely a great choice for a lovely evening. The staff is polite and cordial. Overall a lovely evening! Thanks guys!

A great place, they squeezed us in on a very busy Friday night. Staff polite and fairly attentive The atmosphere was pleasant with a mix of families, couples and friends out for food. The food, oh damn the food. Delicious, not a single bad bite. From the appetizer bread to the full grill not a bad bite. Especially the lamb, of which my dining partner isn't a fan, was raved about by them. I would whole heartedly recommend both here and specifically the mixed grill for a great variety of food, amazingly cooked and delight on the palette.

5+food is so delicious the quality is better then the other Turkish restaurants I have been to wish I found this one 1st the servise is brilliant, staff very care and kind, been made sure we have everything we need. Could not recommend enough you will not be disappointed will be coming here from now on.

Food is so fresh and delicious. Klefico is the best I have had. Service is very good, polite and friendly. Atmosphere is like being in Turkey. Lots of Turkish people eat there, I always think when traditional food is being served it's a very good sign that the food is great.

The Lahmachun. Wow. Flavorful, crispy yet soft. Definitely recommend. The lamb sheesh also phenomenal And the izgara yogurtlu also very nice Complimentary bread and Acili Ezme also hit the spot perfectly but don't fill up too much as the rest of the food is too good to leave for left overs Definitely recommend visiting this place if local Food is halal although alcohol is served. Service is good and prices are reasonable

One of the best Turkish restaurants i’ve ever been to and I used to go to sheesh a lot. Is a bit pricey for a takeaway but worth it

The food and service here are amazing. Tasty/well priced food-huge thanks to our waiter who surprised us with the canafe-next level dessert.

Kofta is not fresh and rice is not tasty. Also the salad not clean.

We dropped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The food was really enjoyable and we did receive free warm bread with dip. We were defiantly full!

Such a delight to enjoy distinct flavours, cooked and prepared really well. Lamb was full of flavour, cooked to perfection. Even the chicken has a super flavour. The complimentary breads were surprisingly delightful, it was hard not to fill up on just these with the superbly balanced salsa (wasn't salsa, but not sure what else to call it)

A fantastic meal with lots of friends. Food was delicious (as always) such big portions. A great selection of starters and mains.

On Dereham Road opposite Wilco Tyres and Exhausts: it may not be Norwich's most elegant location, but it's amongst the city's finest restaurants. Believe me. I don't know who the chef is, but they're very very good. Hey, choose poncey venues if that's your thing: me I look for simple flavoursome food well cooked, and Antep delivers.

Lovely Turkish food, the Ezme is particularly good. Generous portion size and I particularly like the decor (the wall of multi-coloured plants) in the restaurant. Could do with an upgrade to the music system.

Great place, would recommend. The restaurant is very well spaced out, there’s plenty of room between tables. Everything is very clean and decorated to a very high standard. You get a huge basket of bread and dips. All the food had very generous portion sizes, really good value for money. The babaganoush was simply amazing! Very rich and complex flavours, a must try. Unfortunately the server seemed unfamiliar with the menu, he described the mixed seafood as fried items but it’s actually cooked in sauce. He also informed us the Chicken Sarma Beyti was grilled chicken thigh pieces in a wrap but what came out was minced chicken. Unfortunately this was not to my taste, the chicken tasted very funky but that’s my personal opinion. Overall the standard of food is good. Friendly service, and great value for money. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Excellent service and very enjoyable evening. This is truly one of the best restaurants I've visited in Norwich. The portions are generous and food delicious. Moreover its different to the other restaurants of similar theme, offering unique dishes I've not tried before. Would highly recommend.

I went there for breakfast and it has exceeded my expectations. They adapt quite well to your dietary requirements and have excellent vegetable options. We went for Turkish breakfast that is already vegetarian and removed the sweets. That already has eggplant, zucchini, green pepper, and mushrooms, all perfectly cooked. We also had spicy beef sausage as a separate order. Strongly recommend them all.

Don't be put off by the website - they put their time and energy in the food. It's delicious. Sometimes kebabs can be dried out, or crusty and charred, but Antep nails it whatever meat you choose. Service is attentive and quick. But even if you have had great grills and Turkish food before, you still have to come here to see the almost baroque decor: the jungle wall, the rose wall, the mirrors, the huge crystal studs in the cushions of the green velvet banquettes. And we also loved the 80s, 90s, 00s Europop playlist which is so eclectic and kitsch it has to have been deliberately curated - and hats off to the curator!

Brilliant food, great service, great place

It is the best Turkish restaurant in Norwich. The staff are very friendly. As a Turkish, I can say that they cook very tasty turkish foods and breakfast.

Did not book just walk in and met by very friendly staff the food was great with excellent service, you can't fault the this place.

I saw they are still taking takeway order at midnight on Uber eat even tho I know this restaurant close at 10pm. I thought maybe they are still doing takeaway inside the kitchen after restaurant closes. However, they keep canceling my order after I waited for one hr. I can see from the app showing them accepting my order and also see drivers arriving there to pick up my order but then it got cancelled all in sudden. The reasons were always about drivers having on issues. I'm doubting it's really driver's issue. Is that the restaurant actually not opened and have no takeaway service but they still showing on urber eat? It's annoying that everytime we waited for an hour but got nothing at the end. If you are not available to take any order at midnight then please just don't accept order on the app. I also feel bad to see drivers went there and waited so long but order got cancelled.

Absolutely disgraceful service and half cooked food. I usually take my family to this restaurant every other week, but tonight as soon we started eating, we spotted Lamb Shish, Lamb Ribs, and Lamb Chops were half cooked. I called the waitress, showed her the food, and she went to the kitchen to speak with the chef. When she returned to me, her answer was there was nothing she could do as we already ate a quarter of the food. I wasn’t satisfied with the waitress's answer; I immediately asked for the bill, paid and left the restaurant with my family.

I was a bit disappointed babaganoush didnt have the taste or looked like real babaganoush. It was chopped up peppers and aubergine onions and etc. Mix grill combination which is lamb chicken and adana kebab was way salty. I didnt even eat adana kebab

Found this restaurant by chance. Had a hot mixed plate (Antep Special) which was superb.

Food was amazing (Complementary bread, Mixed Shish, Mixed Seafood, Lamb Moussaka and Chicken ala Cream)! Prices and portions were also reasonable. Presentation was lovely. But the experience was overall not that great. Staff weren't friendly or welcoming, barely a smile on their faces except from the new guy who just started. Waited forever to order our food, and it turns out they thought they took our order when they didn't. Not sure how they missed that seeing as it seemed there were very few tables occupied in ratio to the number of working staff. During the meal, we had finished our drinks but even after serving our mains, they didn't bother to take any more drinks orders and didn't ask if our food or drinks were to our liking even though they kept looking over constantly which made us feel uneasy since they didn't smile. Didn't want to leave a tip and whatever tip I gave, I hope went only to the chef and the new guy.

Came with rice and salad as sides and was Plenty of that . Drinks / wine very reasonably priced Finished off with a round of tequilas

Went there on spur of the moment and was very pleased. The food is 1st class. Service was good and staff pleasant and attentive. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes flavour with their food.

Visited on a quite Thursday evening. Staff are pleasant, helpful and efficient. Food is genuinely flavourful and portion size is decent portion sizes. Interior design is modern with a touch of rustic. Would highly recommend.

An utter gem of the East has been found in Norwich, though the decor may be unassuming the food is certainly not. I ordered the mezze of starters and was amazed at the flavours, range and subtlety I don't even like beetroot but eat it as it was that good, breads are light and smiles wide and welcoming portions plentiful you simply have to try this place. Turkey must be weeping.

I visited the restaurant first time with my family. Absolutely beautiful, delicious and lovely Turkish food! I tried their BBQ 2 to 3 people platter. By far this is one of the best Turkish food I have ever had. Excellent customer services and lovely dinning area. I highly recommend it!

Incredible food with good prices. Main dishes comes with a salad, rice and tasty pita bread which is really filling. They also serve free Turkish tea to their customers after the food which I love it! Definitely visiting again.

I searched Google for shisha restaurants in Norfolk, drawn to the Turkish food and selection of flavours for the pipes, we (me and me dad) at a loose end on a Friday (12/11/21) decided to head over on the motorbikes and we were not disappointed, fantastic food packed with spices and taste, attentive waiters, shisha pipe set up and it was explained to me how it works as well, I had (can't remember the name) feta rolls and my dad had sucuk, which was spiced meat, for mains we had the palm tree platter for 2, lamb and chicken with onion peppers, coloured tasty rice and veggies in some sort of dressing (I know not what but it was lovely), we ventured to the outside area where we then sat and enjoyed the shisha pipe with a glass of red and desert, baklava for dad and künefe. 10 out of 10, will definitely be returning and would 100% recommend.
