Was staying in the area for half term and this was the nearest Chinese Takeaway. Took on board the online reviews and gave it a chance. Rang through to order as I was collecting as there is no specific website/online ordering. ***It is cash only or can do BACS transfer on collection*** The crackers were great, bright white, tasted of prawn and not greasy. Plenty of king prawns with the ginger and spring onion. Tender pork with oyster sauce. The prawn toast and chicken fried rice maybe a tad overcooked but the prawn toast was nice and thick. The order was correct and was pleased with the quality overall for a local Chinese takeaway.

There is an extensive menu here and all the dishes we tried were both delicious and good value for money. During our two week stay nearby, we visited twice as the food was great and the service speedy. Mixed starter, spare ribs, foo yung, chow mein all great. Highly recommended.

Don't bother save your money it was disgusting. Threw it in the bin. Spare ribs tough and not a nice flavour of the sauce it was in.

Ordered food this week. The person on the phone was new and struggled with the menu but was happy to help then find the items I wanted. The food arrived and the order was wrong. It not only cost more than it should but we was missing chips off the order. When I called, the person on the phone was apologetic but was not willing to send the missing items. Disappointed with the service and will not be using again

We prefer to eat out but when we do have a takeaway this is the best place for chinese food!!! the delivery service is good considering they cover a large area and always comes hot and on time. after many years we have never had a bad one.

We had a mixed takeaway meal to share with friends. Delivered on time and hot. But we thought that despite choosing a wide variety of meat dishes that they all tasted just the same. So we were quite disappointed with th meal overall

We had a takeaway from here with friends, to celebrate the Chinese New Year (any excuse for a party). Once again the food was excellent, and delivered on time. For a local takeaway, it cannot be faulted.

I have picked up quite a few takeaways from here. The standard is what you would expect, and is extremely handy, saving trips into either Grimsby or Louth.

Ordered several delivered takeaways from Mr Lee's while we were on holiday nearby. The lady on the phone who took the order was very cheerful and efficient. The food was delivered by a lovely couple and was piping hot on delivery. The food itself was excellent-not had better and we are pretty hard to please! Highly recommend.

When this take away first opened and the cooking was done by Mr Lee himself it was excellent every time, but since others have been cooking it has gradually gone into a decline, it's a great shame as it had great promise, I now pay to have a delivery from another take away despite living in the same village as Mr Lees

Whatever you want from the menu if you want it jigging a bit no problem. Ask for the heat setting of your curry sauce based on the standard and it will be altered. Buy several tubs freeze it down and then make your own curry meals later on - fantastic and smooth too

My family and I ordered a just eat take-out this evening from The Spice Lounge. Delivery was slightly delayed as we live a bit of a distance away but the food arrived piping hot and oh my days was absolutely delicious. Best curry that we have eaten in a long time and well worth the money. Very highly recommended. Thank you so much 😊 Nicky, Gary and Tom

We went specifically to this venue for breakfast. We ordered different breakfasts and made some changes to one of them with the helpful counter staff. The tea in the tea pot was cold and we took it back for a replacement hot tea pot. The breakfast was brought to us by a member of staff who did not smile or speak. Having ordered extra well done bacon we were surprised to note that it certainly hadn't been even well done. The plates were cold and so was half of the breakfast, the rest of it cooling rapidly. The toast and prepacked butter were placed on the top of the breakfast and we had to use our fingers to try and get them off the top, even though there was nowhere to put them (have they never heard of side plates)? All in all, very poor. Customer care is clearly not a priority.

Good food, especially sunday carvery lunch, friendly staff, nice covered garden area, or inside restautant, occasional music events. Good value.

Greeted with silence by a face that looked like it wanted us to go away. Food was hands down the worst meal that I remember eating. I had the mixed starter, the Won tons were just pastry with no filling, the rest of the food was dry and felt like it had been sitting under lights for hours. My partner had duck chow mein and was instantly sick. She said it tastes like they ran out of soy sauce so used bisto granules instead. The server smiled at us as we were leaving but later we realised that she was smiling because she had just handed us a bag of leftovers in exchange for £20. Seaweed was passable though.
