Mr Kebab in Braintree

Meat chip box cold plain no sauces witch asked chilli garlic meat rotten chicken burger hard no taste chips cold solid burger like dog meat cold hard chips cold solid very poor food will not use again

Give it a miss. The worst takeaway in Braintree. The wait was 1.5 hours. The food was stone cold. Staff attitude is poor :(

As a takeaway in the last ten years I’d have rated this in the top five in the country, however in the last 18 months it seems to have taken a massive downturn in quality in all aspects. Two years ago if I ordered a delivery it would be at my house within 20 to 40 minutes, in the last 18 months, the delivery time has been estimated at 1 hour and taken at least 1.5 hrs after I’d called them to ask where my order is. The food has now changed from nicely cooked and succulent to dry and in need of a sauce to make it more edible, and tonight the “10 wedges” I ordered tuned up as 8, which based on the poor quality of the rest of the meal may not have been a bad thing. Having been a huge fan of this takeaway restaurant for many years, I now feel that this is a meal not to have again.

The food is extremely good value for money, the portion sizes are generous, staff are exceptionally polite and always helpful. The food is very tasty and it's the best kebab takeaway in Braintree by a million miles, I would highly recommend I have been using this kebab shop for over 10 years and I have never had a bad experience. And I love the fact that they only accept cash it's nice to see.

Been using Mr Kebab for years and never had a bad meal from here . The service is always friendly and the mixed large chicken and lamb shish is banging !!! 👌🏼 definitely worth a visit if your hungry and in the braintree area

Super friendly staff and delivery men, good value menus and most of all, super tasty food!! Recently discovered them after years of ordering from best kebab in Braintree. Mr Kebab knocks the socks off them. I will never order anywhere else. Great portion sizes, well seasoned meat, fresh salad in separate containers and sauces (garlic and chilli) that taste authentic and not just cheapy-rubbish from Costco squeezed into pots. Their containers, even for basic kebabs, are filled with meat so you'll graze on the yummy leftovers the next day. You will not be disappointed. 11/10!

Just used Mr Kebab for the very first time and was really impressed. Ordered online which was easy and was given a 10% discount for doing so. Delivered within half hour by a friendly driver. The food was superb, it was fresh, hot and tasty - great kebabs and would highly recommend, the Kebabs all came with a fresh side salad and a pot of sauce. This will be our new go to place for kebabs.

We love this place! We had it now and again before lockdown but now it's all we look forward to every fortnight! Always ample chicken and salad in our kebab the lady on the phone and at the desk when paying etc is lovely! Only niggle is that it's cash only (i never carry cash so annoying that i have to go and get money out before hand etc) but it's worth it!! Also last thing - please sell coke and diet coke not Pepsi :)

Ordered a meal for one (pizza, wings and wedges with a drink), which arrived super quick: Waited only 10/15 minutes! Everything was delicious and hot, with a generous amount of food for the price! My only critique is that the wedges are more akin baked potatoes, though no stars lost from me as they were still very nice. I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

Ordered food was told an hour as it was a Friday. The food came in 50 minutes. The chicken sish in this place is just amazing, the seasoning is spot on. My 8 year old had a peproni pizza and now my 8 year old will not eat any other pizza any where else. Very friendly stuff always get a good laugh when I actually go in to order my food . The parking can be a nightmare during the weekend. If I'm picking up my food I will recomend call and order your food ahead so it makes it easy for you to park or stop in and out quickly . Great place ..

We ordered out food to be believed was told that it would be with us within the hour and the time came and 20 more minutes later we called them, to be told that they had tried to deliver it but we did not open the door. Me and my husband are both in and the dog to that will bark at everything door bell and bang on the door, asked if it could be remade and sent out and was told that as we have made a complaint before that our did would not be sent out. The best bit it was told they tried our next door neighbor lol. Will never go there again now.

I ordered a takeaway for delivery by telephone this evening and used the online price list to work out the cost. When the driver arrived the amount was more than expected, so I automatically assumed I had used the wrong list. Obviously I wasn't happy as it was more than I had expected to pay. I told the driver this but assured him that we knew it wasn't his fault and tipped him as we usually do with any delivery person, but said we probably wouldn't order from them again as was more expensive than we wanted to pay. Within about ten to fifteen minutes we had a telephone call from Mr Kebab apologising profusely saying that the mistake was at their end and that they had added it up wrong, with a promise to drop off the difference owed. How lovely I thought, what wonderful customer service. What I didn't expect was a visit within half an hour with the difference in cash along with a bottle of wine to say sorry! What amazing customer service from such an amazing takeaway. Mr Kebab, you truly are the best kebab/buger takeaway shop in Braintree. I am VERY impressed x

the chicken shish here is so good! My husband's doner was really nice to. Would Definitely recommend! Wouldn't get the chips again though.

phoned for delivery at 5:30pm for a 7:00pm delivery by 7:20pm order was not delivered so i rang up to be told it would be leaving the shop in 5mins... eeerr i ordered this at 5:30 so an hour and a half to prep and deliver was ample time.. was offered a reduction of the price and told it would be straight with us. 25mins later it arrived to find the order wasnt correct and the chicken kebab boxes full of grease.. thanks Mr kebab 2 crying kids and greasy sh*$ty kebabs.. wont be using them again.

tried a chicken shish from here tonight and it was the best 1 I have ever had there was so much flavour and so fresh will always be using mr kebab from now on thanks guys

Love the chick shish chilli sauce is good salad is fresh Chips were awful though soggy not fresh Friendly service
